This article purports that non-referential TA could have come from referential ta. Different dialects seem to prove this point. Two types of construction with non-referential TA_are studied : 1. V+TA+Num+Cl 2. V+TA+GE+SV/SA In Type 1, the constituent "Num+Cl" always refers to a frequency of action. This dissertation explores the language contact between the modern Beijing dialect, a dialect used in and near Beijing, and Manchu, who is currently “critically endangered” according to UNESCO. These two languages intensely interacted and influenced each other in Beijing during the Qing dynasty (1644-1912). Their contact triggered a decline in the usage of Manchu, and gave birth to the contemporary Beijing dialect, based on which Standard Chinese (Putonghua) was developed. The influence of Manchu on the modern Beijing dialect is the core of our research. After an updated description of the linguistic contact between these two languages, we provide a diachronic and comparative analysis of their relationship using an enriched corpus. Our study aims at examining the different ways in which the Manchu vocabulary entered modern Beijing dialect and at tracing the development of loanwords from Manchu in the modern Beijing dialect. Based on 96 concrete examples, we analyse phonetic transcription, transliteration and bilingual composition to uncover the integration of Manchu loanwords into the modern Beijing dialect. Different borrowing chains are also identified to showcase some previous language contacts between the spoken language in Beijing and the Mongolian language, or the Jurchen language. Subsequently, we develop four case studies to illustrate the importance of Manchu's influence on the modern Beijing dialect. Some of loanwords from Manchu have been kept in the contemporary Beijing dialect and have become some of its defining characteristics.; Dans le contexte du contact des langues, le pékinois moderne, un dialecte utilisé à Pékin et dans ses alentours, et la langue mandchoue, une langue « en voie de disparition » selon la définition de l’UNESCO, ont interagi à Pékin au cours de la dynastie des Qing (1644-1912). Leur interaction a conduit au déclin du mandchou en faveur du pékinois et a par la suite donné naissance au pékinois contemporain, sur la base duquel le mandarin standard (Putonghua) s'est construit. L'influence du mandchou dans le pékinois moderne constitue le cœur de la recherche dans cette thèse. Après une description actualisée du contact entre ces deux langues, notre travail en offre une étude diachronique et comparative avec l’appui d’un corpus enrichi. Notre objectif est d’observer les manières dont le lexique mandchou intègre le pékinois moderne et l’évolution des emprunts au mandchou dans le pékinois moderne. A travers 96 exemples d’emprunts lexicaux, nous examinons l'entrée du lexique mandchou par la transcription, la translittération et la composition bilingue. Des chaînes d'emprunt sont également identifiées afin de mettre en valeur des contacts de langues précédents entre la langue parlée à Pékin et le mongol ou le jürchen. Ensuite, quatre études de cas sont présentées pour illustrer l'importance de l'influence du mandchou sur le pékinois moderne. Les emprunts au mandchou se conservent partiellement dans le pékinois contemporain et forment des caractéristiques propres au pékinois.

This dissertation examines the universal phenomenon of poly-divergence in archaic Chinese with five subtypes: the polygrammaticalization with the case of huò 或; the polylexicalization and the hybridization of these two with the case of rán 然; the poly-divergence under the influence of cult-culture-philosophical with the case of yī 一; the poly-divergence of the multifunctional structure with the case of "Reference + Comment"; the poly-divergence of the phrase with the case of "numeral +month". These divergences have the effect of reducing and avoiding the opacity caused by the non-obligatory usage of function word or the lack of exclusive function word. And these types of poly-divergence in Chinese are realized through mechanisms that are distinct from those of Western languages. Finally, a conclusion is drawn and it is argued that the poly-divergence is the essential model of evolution in archaic Chinese., Cette thèse examine le phénomène universel de la poly-divergence dans le chinois archaïque avec cinq sous-types : La polygrammaticalisation avec le cas de huò 或 ; la polylexicalisation et l’hybridation de ces deux avec le cas de rán 然 ; La poly-divergence sous l’influence des culte-culture-philosophique avec le cas d’yī 一 ; La poly-divergence de la structure multifonctionnelle avec le cas de « Reference+Comment » ; La poly-divergence de la locution avec le cas de « chiffre+mois ». Ces divergences ont pour effet de réduire et éviter l’opacité causée par la pratique langagière de l’emploi non-obligatoire d’item fonctionnel ou le manque d’item fonctionnel exclusif. Et ces types de poly-divergence en chinois se réalisent via des mécanismes qui sont distincts de ceux des langues occidentales. Etant donné que la pratique de l’emploi non-obligatoire est omniprésente, alors l’opacité et l’imprécision sont, en conséquence, devenues également inévitable sur le plan universel. On peut en conclure que, au cours du développement diachronique, le modèle de la poly-divergence en branches devient le modèle essentiel d’évolution grammaticale dans le chinois archaïque.

In Chinese, localizers ( 方位词 fāngwèicí ) are a restricted set of words denoting a concrete or metaphorical relationship between two entities. This thesis presents the results of a synchronic and diachronic corpus-based study of four common localizers : 里 li ‘in’, 中 zhōng ‘middle’, 内 nèi ‘inside’ et 上 shang ‘on’.When expressing a concrete relationship, they are generally categorized as topological localizers which express an inclusion or a contact relationship between two entities. When expressing a metaphorical meaning, all of these localizers can express an abstract framework, although each one has its own specific uses. They are sometimes interchangeable for both concrete and metaphorical meanings.Our comparative study in contemporary Chinese is based on a corpus of texts of different styles : written, oral and written with oral characteristics. The statistics show the importance of text styles in the choice of localizer. Pragmatic and semantic contexts are also determining factors in the uses of localizers.The diachronic analysis performed on a corpus of 26 documents representing the archaic, medieval and pre-modern periods shows the evolution of each localizer and their tendency of use throughout History, both in concrete and metaphorical expressions., En chinois, les locatifs dénommés 方位词 fāngwèicí (littéralement mots d’orientation et de localisation) forment un ensemble restreint de mots désignant une orientation ou une localisation spatiale, temporelle ou notionnelle en référence à une entité concrète ou abstraite.Cette thèse présente les résultats d’une étude synchronique et diachronique sur corpus de quatre locatifs : 里 li ‘dans’, 中 zhōng ‘au milieu de’, 内 nèi ‘à l’intérieur de’ et 上 shang ‘sur’. Dans l’expression de la relation concrète, ils sont généralement classés dans la catégorie des locatifs topologiques qui expriment une relation d’inclusion ou de contact entre deux entités. Dans les emplois métaphoriques, ils peuvent tous exprimer un cadre, bien que chaque locatif ait des emplois spécifiques propres. Ces quatre locatifs sont parfois interchangeables aussi bien pour les emplois concrets que métaphoriques.Notre étude comparative en chinois contemporain est basée sur un corpus de textes de différents styles : écrit, oral et écrit avec des caractéristiques de l’oral. Les statistiques d’emploi des locatifs recueillies montrent l’importance des styles de textes dans le choix des locatifs. La pragmatique et des contextes sémantiques sont aussi des facteurs déterminants. L’analyse diachronique réalisée sur un corpus de 26 documents représentatifs des périodes archaïque, médiévale et pré-moderne indique l’évolution de chaque locatif et la tendance d’emploi des locatifs au fil du temps, dans les expressions concrètes et métaphoriques.
