The effectiveness of modern poultry farming depends on many factors, the main of which is the food supply. In addition, preventive work, including vaccination and preventive measures that increase the resistance of chickens and their survival, is an important factor. The article presents comparative results on the use of various adaptogens. The aim of the study was to evaluate the macro-microstructure of the broiler liver when using adaptogens of various origins during growth and fattening. The objectives of the study were: to evaluate changes in the macro- and microstructure of the liver after fattening broilers, when feeding adaptogens of various origins, while comparing the preventive effectiveness of adaptogens in diseases of the digestive system, the effectiveness of fattening and the safety of livestock. For the first time, an organoleptic veterinary and sanitary assessment of the quality of giblets was carried out in comparison with microscopic changes after feeding various feed additives of domestic production with the properties of adaptogens. An adaptogen has been identified that maximally reduces the incidence of broilers in diseases of the digestive system and liver, the main organ responsible for metabolic processes in the body. In addition, an adaptogen has been identified that allows maximizing the efficiency of using the feed base for growing and fattening broilers. Such an adaptogen is an organic adaptogen – peat-sapropel concentrate. The effectiveness of the used domestic feed additives, which are adaptogens, depends on the composition of these additives, it is mainly determined by the mineral composition and biologically active additives included in their composition. The used feed additives have organoprotective properties, increase the nonspecific resistance of the bird's body, increase the efficiency of using the feed base, and increase the survival rate of chickens. Accordingly, they increase the efficiency of meat and poultry farming.

There has been unrelenting interest of poultry farmers in feed additives that help to increase the viability of poultry, reduce mortality, and increase the absorption of feed. Adaptogens are such feed additives. Adaptogens increase nonspecific resistance, which has led to their use in poultry farming. However, their use in broiler feeding is limited. The reasons for the mortality of young animals are not only infections and violations in the technology of breeding, but also an increased concentration of harmful gases that can take the life of many chickens. Therefore, the search for new and effective means of protecting broilers is urgent. The aim of the study was: to determine the effectiveness of the pulmo-protective action of adaptogens in broiler feeding. Studies were carried out on arbor acres broilers to determine the effectiveness of the adaptogen as a protective drug, and to determine the efficiency of feeding and the safety of the broiler population when feeding the adaptogen. Micromorphological studies of the respiratory organs were carried out, features of the microstructure of the lungs were revealed with and without adaptogens. For the first time, the pulmo-protective effect of the fodder adaptogen against the background of disturbed microclimate parameters in the poultry house was histologically confirmed.

Wild meat has long been part of the hunter’s diet. The Urals belongs to the ecologically unsafe regions of Russia, dysfunctional for invasive zooanthroponotic diseases. The annual hunting season is a potentially dangerous event due to the possibility of infection of the hunters themselves and their family members with zooanthoponoses spreading along the food chain. In this regard, the purpose of this study was to assess the intensity of commercial wild animals meat invasion by the express diagnostics using a compessarium and histological examination of veterinary and sanitary evaluation of meat. It was important to identify the highest degree of invasion of animals types. The article presents a comparative comprehensive veterinary and sanitary assessment of the meat of wild carnivorous and omnivorous animals from the Ural region. The grade of wild animals, invasion large degree was revealed not only by intestinal forms of parasites, but also by the larval form of trichinosis. At the same time, was determined a high degree of invasion by trichinella. In case of minor invasion or its absence, wild animal meat should be allowed to be eaten by humans or in animal feed only after prolonged heat treatment, as they are one of the links in the spread of parasitic diseases.

Infertility problems still remain an urgent task of practical veterinary medicine. There are many drugs known to have an effect on the organs of the reproductive system, but the search for universal remedies is a priority. The effectiveness of drugs that prevent infertility can be assessed by reducing infertility days and reducing the cost of purchasing sperm products. Restoration, enhancement and prolongation of lactation also ensures the effectiveness of dairy cattle breeding. Therefore, the search for effective means of prevention and treatment is the purpose of this study. The article describes the results of research on the effect of mineral adaptogen on the function of the reproductive system and breast organs in cows. The article presents the results of changes in hematological and biochemical blood tests in cows receiving adaptogen during the dry period and the state of the reproductive system, breast and milk productivity, against the background of taking adaptogen. As a result of the conducted research, a decrease in the incidence of reproductive organs and udders was noted. Reduction of complications in childbirth and the postpartum period. A decrease in the incidence of neonatal pathology in newborn calves was noted. In addition, an increase in dairy productivity.

Pigs are the most susceptible to stress. Therefore, the purpose of our research was to assess the effect of the mineral adaptogen on animal health and the quality of meat products. Research methods. The studies were conducted on piglets of a large white breed. With the use of hematological, immuno-biochemical, morphological methods of research and veterinary and sanitary assessment of the quality of meat products obtained. Results. It was found that the mineral adaptogen has a positive effect on the immune system, metabolic processes, and the reduction of stress-dependent glucose and cortisol levels. Scientific novelty. For the first time, comprehensive studies have been conducted showing the effect of mineral adaptogen not only on immunocompetent organs and immune indicators, but also a complex effect on stress resistance, reduction of toxigenic activity of feed, stabilization of metabolic processes in animals, and veterinary-sanitary and micromorphological assessment of the quality of meat products.

The problem of the spread of coccidiosis (eimeriosis) in animals is still an urgent problem for veterinary specialists around the world. In this regard, the aim of the study was to study the most complete pathomorphological picture of this disease in goats. The research material was the fallen kids of the Alpine breed. The research was carried out on the basis of one of the goat breeding farms in the Sverdlovsk region. Diagnostics was performed according to clinical, laboratory and pathomorphological studies. Research results. The article describes the morphological picture of pathological changes in the parenchymal and target organs. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that a morphological assessment of changes in target organs, parenchymal organs that provide detoxification function in the body, in the organs of the immune system and in parenchymal organs that perform vital functions in the body of blood circulation and gas exchange has been carried out.

Formation of a modern university as a driver of regional development is impossible without its participation in forming a territory’s intellectual potential, in particular, by its involvement into system of children’s additional education. This work is devoted to studying а university’s role in children’s additional education mechanisms development. Advantages of higher educational institutions in its implementation are shown.
