Climate change, the number of the global population, and the diversity of activities with an impact on the planet have been on an upward slope, which requires taking preventive measures and changing from a social, economic, and environmental perspective, thus meaning that the adoption of a sustainable lifestyle is necessary. This study provides a review of the literature on the adoption of the circular economy and sustainability concepts in the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. This study aims to qualitatively assess the need to implement sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry, given that the latter has a significant environmental impact on human existence. In this study, the “Web of Science," "Scopus,” databases, and “Springer Publishing” are used, from which works are extracted based on the keywords sustainability in the pharmaceutical industry and circular economy in the pharmaceutical industry, following the evolution of works written in the last ten years on this topic. The most relevant approaches of the authors to this topic are presented. It can be seen that this topic is one discussed by an important category of researchers, especially in countries where the need for medicines is greater due to the standard of living, such as those in Asia, for example. The research can also be extended to other databases using the same keywords or words related to sustainability or circular economy in the pharmaceutical industry.

The present research aimed to analyze the economic, ecological, and environmental perception of beekeepers from Madalena (CE) regarding bees. Seventeen beekeepers from different areas of the municipality were interviewed. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews comprising fourteen open-ended questions and ten multiple-choice questions. Data analysis involved transcribing the interviews and organizing quantitative data into graphs and tables. Results revealed that the interviewed beekeepers displayed knowledge about the ecological relevance of bees, understanding their crucial role in plant pollination and biodiversity maintenance. The activity also fostered environmental awareness, promoting sustainable practices and environmental preservation. The research highlights the importance of beekeeping as an economic, ecological, and environmental awareness activity, emphasizing the necessity to preserve bees for biodiversity maintenance and food security.

The C’hole cultural knowledge of postgraduate students in Education and Cultural Diversity of Unit 071 of the National Pedagogical University (UPN) of Chiapas, Mexico is analyzed. The results support our analysis obtained through qualitative ethnographic research and semi – structures interviews. A significant potential is recognized in indigenous knowledge, related to: the cornfield and the cycle of the moon. Indigenous knowledge and its incorporation into the etymological bases of formal education as factors of change and socio – environmental cohesion are discussed.

Conclusion | (Abstract) Access to justice in environmental matters is one of the three pillars of the Aarhus Convention, to which both the EU and its Member States are Parties. In the Convention, access to justice is subdivided into four limbs. Art. 9(3) contains the general obligation of access to review procedures for the public of acts and omissions of private persons and public authorities concerning national law relating to the envi-ronment. Art. 9(3) had to be transposed by the Parties to the Convention, taking the discretion left by the vague wording of the provision into account. At the EU level, unlike for art. 9(1) and (2), there is no formal transposition of art. 9(3) in a dedicated Directive, because of Member States’ reluctance. The so-lution found by the Commission to remedy this lack of EU legislation on the matter was the publication of a soft law instrument in 2017. Since then, we have witnessed a shift in the approach used by the EU legislator, with access to justice provisions being incorporated directly into several pieces of “sectoral” legislation (Regulations and Directives), across various environmental areas. This Insight aims at retrac-ing the history of art. 9(3) of the Aarhus Convention in the EU legal order and at analysing and evaluat-ing the recent tendency of including access to justice rights in sectoral legislation.

ABSTRACT: FROM STRONG TO WEAK AGRARIANISM A CONSEQUENTIALIST APPROACH TO PROTECTING RURAL COMMUNITIES AND THE ENVIRONMENT The paper critiques traditional agrarianism, particularly Wendell Berry’s version, proposing a new form of agrarianism called weak agrarianism. Strong agrarianism holds local communities as morally valuable entities because they produce good moral qualities in human beings. However, weak agrarianism supports rural communities based on their positive environmental and economic contributions. Having unique local knowledge, rural communities are essential in combating climate change and promoting sustainable agriculture. The paper highlights agroecology as a sustainable approach integrating ecological, social, and economic principles, emphasizing bottom-up policies and the farmer-back-to-farmer method. These policies address local problems through collaboration between farmers and scientists, ensuring effective, culturally integrated solutions. The paper argues for protecting and incentivizing rural communities not as static reserves but as dynamic, inclusive entities, promoting their development to counter rural depopulation and enhance environmental sustainability.

This study focuses on the environmental issue in Portugal after the 25th of April, analysing the problem from three main perspectives: the contextual diachronic perspective of the critical Anthropocene construction; the relevance of the environmental issue at national and international level and environmental policies in the Portuguese legislative framework, involving questions relating to the normativity of environmental law, legislative discourse and the semantic value of the expressions “environmental quality”, “nature conservation”, “self- sustaining development”, “sustainable development”, “environmental education”, “natural environment”, and “human environment” as concepts associated with the evolution of environmental policies in post-April 25th Portugal. The question is that the Portuguese legal framework use of these concepts may contain an ambivalent valuation, oscillating between conservationist or environmentalist goals and developmentalist aims. The qualitative research methodology is mixed, using the exploratory and the comparative method according to the principles of concordance and difference in analysing legislative discourse.

Protecting the environment is one of the most current topics of debate around the world. From the impact people have through all their actions, to how the planet can be protected, discussions about the environment are of great interest to everyone. An environmentally friendly business is one that uses resources efficiently, trying to minimize the impact of environmental risks. Adapting companies to have more sustainable businesses starts with awareness of the issues and understanding the importance of these changes.

The child uses movement from the early stages, and expresses his needs, feelings before the ability to speak. So movement is a social means by which an individual deals with his world around him just like language; Movement occurs either by the influence of one body on another body, i.e. an external force, or it is inside the body by the influence of muscle strength, and the intended movement is the purposeful movement that leads to the noticeable activity of skeletal muscles. The research deals with a study of the effect of interior design elements on the dynamic movement of a child with learning difficulties, by identifying the motor skills of children with learning difficulties in early childhood and the factors that affect this movement within the educational environment and the relationship of motor efficiency within the educational environment with the associated characteristics With learning difficulties and the accompanying attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, the researcher has listed some motor activities that can be integrated into the educational spatial environment to help develop the fine and gross motor skills of children with learning difficulties and their development. Thus, the importance of the interior design of the educational environment for children with learning difficulties appears; To control his behavior, productivity, and learning to gain experience and skills, provide appropriate spaces and spaces, and devise a design for the spatial space for children with excessive activity on the basis of reducing the number of external stimuli they have, and providing them with the opportunity to direct this activity, and to benefit from the excessive movements by investing them in a motor activity It benefits the child's body and rid it of random excess activity.

Although deprescription and degrowth belong to distinct fields, they have several points in common. They first make us aware of the environmental impact of our medical prescriptions, whether they concern drugs or complementary examinations. A quarter of hospital carbon emissions are linked to drugs, and we cite several examples of the importance of unnecessary prescriptions, over-treatment and over-diagnosis in medicine. The second aspect of the link between deprescribing and degrowth that follows from this observation concerns the need to reduce unnecessary prescribing. We remind the "Choosing Wisely" program, and propose to review the criteria for relevant, high-value drug prescriptions (using the Rebuild Evidence Base method in particular), to limit the use of impure placebos and to replace them with honest placebos when we consider that a prescription is relevant and that there is no validated pharmacologically active treatment. Finally, we invite to think in terms of "deprescription", i.e. to regularly re-evaluate the treatments prescribed to our patients, their dose and duration, so as to reduce or even stop any unnecessary treatments. We conclude by suggesting that deprescribing is a sustainable attitude, since it helps to reduce iatrogenic drug use together with the environmental impact of care. In the introduction to Tingle: Anthology of Pinay Lesbian Writing (2021), the editor, Jhoanna Lynn B. Cruz, points to the absence of lesbian literature and the marginalization of lesbian writers in mainstream narratives in the Philippines, as well as to a lack of critics interested in the works of lesbians, thus contributing to these writers’ “invisibility.” She suggests that this invisibility is a result of their inability to enter literary discourse, “thus rendering them mute.” It can be argued, however, that the same anthology not only highlights “mute” women-loving-women writers but does so by calling attention to other voices typically overlooked: those of nature. The connection between women and nature as represented in Tingle is evidenced by this study’s ecofeminist reading of several works from the anthology through the lens of “emancipatory strategies,” as coined by ecofeminist Patrick Murphy and expounded by Gretchen T. Legler.

Contemporary environmental crises, the migration dynamics related to them, current forms of border management, and all the resulting body phenomena are areas that need a gaze capable of grasping their intersections and interactions. In recent years, anthropology has extensively inquired into these issues. What we need today is the development of an ethnographic practice capable of capturing the interactions between these domains. In this direction, we outline the contours of an environmental ethnography of the body at the borders. It is a perspective that, moving from a focus on the reconceptualizations offered by recent studies on these issues, is based on the idea that analyzing the environmental crisis and its bodily dimensions from the perspective of borders emerges as an effective revealer of issues that go far beyond what is at stake in the border areas themselves. This article describes this approach through a dual perspective: on the one hand, a state of the art in anthropological and social science studies about these issues; and, on the other, a programmatic reflection for an ongoing research program.

This paper focuses on the analysis of teacher and student activity during the videoconference course which has grown considerably during the COVID-19 health crisis, by taking as object of study the interactions that take place between these two actors. The urgent transition to distance learning has forced teachers and students to adapt their activity to new training modalities. The classroom is transported to the private space or to another professional space such as the office and the teacher and students take part in the course in a virtual space through a screen. Our research aims to understand how teachers and students interact in this new environment. In this paper, we present the theoretical framework that guided our research, we outline our mixed research methodology based on qualitative and quantitative data and finally we share specific elements of our result by focusing on the degree of multimodality of interactions in videoconference course and the effects induced by physical and technical environment.

During the 19th century, European cities became increasingly unsanitary and epidemic. Gradually, a consensus was formed around the need to improve urban sanitary infrastructures. Among these, sanitation was possibly the most critical element. However, the lack of consensus in the health debate led to different, sometimes even antagonistic, technological solutions. in Lisbon, this debate emerged in the late 1850s, but an agreement was only reached in 1880, enabling a set of interventions on urban sanitation. However, the literature differs greatly on the assessment of its impact. This article argues that the approach to sanitation reform in Lisbon was constrained by a precarious institutional and sanitary consensus. Nevertheless, the overall sanitary impact was advantageous.

Among vector-borne diseases, tick-borne diseases (including Lyme borreliosis) are those whose incidence is constantly on the rise. Europe and North America are particularly affected in temperate regions. As there is a seasonal pattern to tick bites, with more reports in summer and fewer in winter, we wondered whether there were any climatic markers that could be used to identify the start of the tick-borne risk season, so that the public could be informed. Thanks to INRAe's participatory science program, CiTIQUE, 22,000 geolocated cases in France of tick bites on humans were collected, between July 2017 and April 2020. These reports were matched with the weather conditions (from the Météo-France and Dark Sky databases) prevailing at the location and date of each reported bite. Of all the variables analyzed, average daily temperature was the best indicator. Measured at the time of the reports, it is significantly higher by almost 6°C than that of the control dataset (measured at randomly distributed points across mainland France). This temperature difference allows us to go beyond the mere activity of ticks in search of a host (the hazard) and to integrate the human factor - when present and sufficiently "accessible" (dress, behavior) – so that the interaction transforms the hazard into a risk. This indicator is the most easily manipulated of those studied in this article, in the context of public authorities "informing" citizens who frequent nature areas.

Agriculture is a very important sector for Romania, providing food and products of vegetable and animal origin, jobs for people in villages and business opportunities for enterprises and investors. Romania's agricultural area is in permanent change, influenced by European money that was attracted through support measures and community policies, and environmental protection and the need to ensure a sustainable development of agriculture in Romania made the activity of the Agency for Payments and Intervention for Agriculture (APIA) stands out as an important factor in aligning modern agriculture with the environment. Through this study, we aim to analyze the way in which APIA promotes sustainable agricultural practices and provides support to farmers to protect the environment and whether the agency's activity has brought benefits to the economic development of Romania and Neamț County. We thus demonstrate the important role that the agency has for the economy, for supporting farmers and agricultural producers in Romania, but also for the country's agricultural policy, the institution participating in the development and implementation of national agricultural policies and strategies, as well as in the process of negotiating subsidies and projects within the European Union (EU) agricultural financing system.

The sustainable development of the business environment requires a permanent connection between it and the community through the lens of social responsibility and environmental issues. Society in general and the business world in particular are used to classical financial reporting, which in principle aimed at a financial accounting analysis of financial performance with the aim, first of all, of complying with certain legal requirements (eg annual financial statements) and secondly of to periodically present the financial achievements to the interested actors (shareholders, investors, partners, authorities and government institutions, etc.), in order to know the results and the real financial position of the companies at a certain moment. Simultaneously with the expansion of multinational companies and the extent of globalization, traditional financial reporting began to give way to nonfinancial reporting, which, in addition to classic users, is increasingly demanded by employee representatives and members of the communities where these companies operate. As a result, the need for external reporting of information, so-called non-financial, has arisen, which includes the most important aspects regarding: environment; attitude and responsibility towards employees; human rights; the anti-corruption policy.

Çevre temizliği için nizamnameler çıkarılmış, yerleşim yerlerinde tuvalet lağımları için kanalizasyon şebekeleri inşa edilmiştir. Anadolu’daki kadim şehirlerden birisi olan Tokat’ta da çevre temizliğine önem verilmiş, tuvaletlerden gelen lağım sularının tahliyesi için ana ve tali kanallar yapılmıştır. Kariz adı verilen bu kanallar şehrin temizlik işlerinden sorumlu Çöplük Subaşısı tarafından yılda iki kez temizletilmiştir. Temizlik işçilerinin ücretleri hane ve ticarethane sahiplerinden ya da kariz vakıflarından tahsil edilmiştir. Bu makalede, Tokat Şerʻiyye Sicilleri ve inceleme eserler yardımı ile belediye teşkilatı kurulmadan önce Tokat’ta çevre ve kanalizasyon şebekesi temizliği incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın amacı, özelde Tokat’ın genelde Osmanlı Devleti’nin çevre temizliği kültürüne katkı sağlamaktır.

However, regionalism does not mean merely to enumerate the parts of the region or the elements in it, and it does not mean that if its conditions are met, the results will be similar as the first results. Rather, it means the uniqueness in the characteristics of each region.Therefore, it is clear that the genius of the place has an effective and influential role in the scientific personality. The jurisprudential product through the genius of the place and the regionalism of the environment becomes unique and appropriate to the place in which the jurist lives, as reflected in the writings of Ibn al-Arabi.The reality of Ibn al-Arabi's life has demonstrated how the environment contributed to the formation of his thought and judgment, which is issued based on what he deems appropriate for the society in which he lives, and in a manner that does not violate the rules of the tolerant Islamic Sharia.This indicates that the jurists - despite their investigation of ways to reach the truth and adherence to Sharia - were affected by the environment around them and their jurisprudential deductions were formed based on it. Their jurisprudential heritage was a product of this influence. The scholars of principles of jurisprudence set rules and conditions for these influences that do not make them loose and weak, such as maslaha, the jurisprudence of necessity, the priorities of purposes, etc.

Research Purpose: To analyze aspects of relief and land use in relation to environmental preservation, in order to evaluate more favorable areas for viticulture, using data from medium resolution satellites and free GIS software. Methodology: The digital elevation model (DEM) of ALOS image with a resolution of 12.5 m was used to obtain hypsometry, slope and sun exposure. A Sentinel 2 image was used to obtain land use by MAXVER classification, highlighting native forest with field support. The data were processed in the QGIS program and the integration of the data was done by crossing relief, land use and environmental aspects. The permanent preservation areas (PPA) were obtained by geoprocessing in GIS. Findings: Permanent preservation areas associated with the margin of rivers, lakes and slopes above 45% were generated. The areas of vineyards, some planted since the 1970s in the region, coincided in part with the areas recommended in this study, as well as a soil zoning done previously. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the territorial and environmental management of the viticultural area of Encruzilhada do Sul, Brazil, and can be used for other activities. Viticulture can also be expanded to areas indicated as favorable, as well as encouraging to be extended to other areas of the Serra do Sudeste wine region.

Research Purpose: The relationship between humans and nature itself causes distinct levels of environmental impact, extending to the development of the urban environment. The objective is to understand the role that the Itaipu Lake has played in the relations with urban-territorial development in the Lindeiros municipalities, Paraná, Brazil. Reflection on the environmental impacts generated by economic growth is one of the justifications for the study. Methodology: The research methodology adopted a multiple case study in 16 municipalities, using a research protocol with two variables. In addition to the bibliographic research, documentary research was used, emphasizing a new scenario constituted from an environmental impact in which three regional plans were identified. Findings: The main results refer to the responsibility of companies that generate severe environmental impacts, creating specific regions obligatorily. Originality/Value: The conclusion reiterates that the Itaipu Lake has multiple roles in the Lindeiros municipalities, being one of them the mandatory formation of the Lindeiros region, which influences the relations with the urban-territorial development of those municipalities. However, there were no elements of a territorial identity that could be regional, which is a gap for that space due to the absence of a regional thinking.

Our study aims to know the CSR practices of the first company in Africa, SONATRACH, we opted for a semi-directive interview with three senior executives who answered economic questions, questions relating to the company's internal and external society, and questions relating to environmental issues. The results show that SONATRACH's responsible practices are a corporate citizen par excellence, the company opts for a responsible policy that applies international standards of behavior, ethics, and the environment, which makes this company a model for any other large company.

International jurisprudence has a crucial role in the development of international environmental law. There is a close relationship between legal cases and environmental protection in international environmental law. Legal cases address contemporary problems and include new legal principles and rules of international law that can develop the scope (principles, structures and implementation) of environmental protection. In this perspective, judgments, advisory opinions and decisions of the international courts and tribunals, especially the International Court of Justice, have shown that State sovereignty has always been a limitation of the global expansion of environmental protection scope. Moving from absolute State sovereignty to the rule-based equitable and reasonable use of land could be an excellent opportunity to develop this legal field. Environmental protection emerged in the Trail Smelter case of 1941 as an earlier environmental dispute which resulted in the development of the environmental protection concept in other legal cases. Based on selected cases in international environmental law, the research attempts to analyze three stages of the emergence, enhancement and evolution of the environmental protection principle.

Research and development of affordable, sustainable, and low-carbon energy sources capable of reducing dependence on fossil fuels, contributing to social and economic development, and improving environmental and health skills have become a global priority. In recent decades, biodiesel produced from oilseeds has received significant attention as an alternative biofuel. However, the use of first-generation oilseed crops has sparked controversy, and the use of local non-edible feedstocks is considered a promising alternative. The motivation behind this review is to provide an alternative and enlightening perspective on the use of non-edible vegetable oils for biodiesel production, with a particular focus on the current state of biodiesel production in Algeria. The objective is to assess the conditions under which this production could be sustainable and environmentally friendly while maintaining a balance between energy needs, economic stability, and environmental impact.

The sharp increase in the use of quantitative indicators in environmental public policies is leading to a rising use of Geographic Information Systems and georeferenced environmental data. The challenge lies in translating global changes into spatial data and models to plan and monitor natural and anthropogenic dynamics. In this article, the temporal characteristics of these databases are questioned: their evolutionary trajectory, punctuated by technological progress, and the adequacy between the object, the temporalities of data representing it, and the temporalities of their uses. In addition, we highlight the impact of crossing multiple data whose temporalities may differ. This research may have taken a time that was not originally planned in our research projects, but the relevance of this exercise in reflexivity is here asserted. To ensure a better understanding and suitability of the technical and conceptual problems involved in using spatial data to study global changes, environmental data need to be methodically analysed. This article explores the issue of the temporality of climate change from the angle of the formulation and implementation of local public policies which profess to address this fundamental political challenge. Empirically, it draws upon an analysis of the appropriation of Local Climate Plans (LCP) in twelve 'intercommunal' bodies in New Aquitaine. In France, virtually all such bodies are now required to develop LCP. Through interviews and documentary analyses, we studied the political work that the implementation of this obligation has entailed, in particular regarding two obstacles to legitimating climate action at the local scale. Firstly, we show that for local authorities, despite the work of ecologically committed administrative staff, political backing is only given by a minority of isolated elected councillors. Secondly, each locality has its own historical trajectory of environmental action and, more generally, of public policymaking at the intercommunal scale. The sedimentation of this past into local configurations consistently affects the content and meaning of each LCP. More generally, we show that actors have great difficulty pinning down, prioritizing, and legitimating climate change as a 'public problem' that deserves to be acted upon locally. As with the two non-drivers of political change listed above, this again contributes to creative and significant climate initiatives not being framed as urgent at the local scale. Never fully lined up, the temporalities of nature, sciences and societies are today in a state of profound discrepancy that sets them at the very center of the crisis of the Earth system, which is also a 'crisis of the future'. Neglected during the historical period of the 'great acceleration' of the second half of the 20th century, the relevance of taking into account those intertwined temporalities surges today as an emergency, if not a sheer panic. Thus, we are compelled to develop an effort unheard of for the design of an understanding of time likely to be actuated at all relevant levels, in both an interdisciplinary and a transdisciplinary way, in order to embed the Earth system in a transition process aimed at the setting of a viable and livable system. Rooted in the critical thinking and the scientific proposals of the epistemic community of the journal Natures Sciences Sociétés, founded in 1993, this paper aims at proposing a clinical analysis of 'presentism' as a paradigm, before exploring the possible new ways of mobilizing history on the one side, foresight studies on the other, in order to build an involved and responsible conception of temporalities in the context of the strengthening fluctuations of the Anthropocene. It is indisputable that ignorance, or lack of interest, as well as underestimation of the importance of environmental protection, has an impact not only on the quality of the environment but also poses a significant risk to human health, as well as all other organisms on Earth. It is for this reason that the issue of environmental protection is increasingly discussed, topical and desirable not only at the level of individual states but also within the international community. Taking into account the above, it is for this reason that the issue of environmental protection is increasingly discussed, topical and desirable not only at the level of individual states but also within the international community. Taking into account the above, the authors in the presented article deal with a critical assessment of the appropriateness of the proposal contained in the embedding of the special crime of ecocide originating from 2021 in the Rome Statute, including the formulation of appropriate de lege ferenda proposals.

It is, according to Serres, the ‘greatest discovery of history that entropy and information are connected’ – a line of thought he takes throughout epistemological questions, aesthetics, cultural analysis, and a theory of matter. By following Serres’s work, one finds negentropy, entropy, chaos, local orders, the ‘soft’, and the ‘hard’ almost everywhere in his writings. The intellectual context and sources that Serres draws on are an important support to understand the way in which the coupling of informational and thermodynamic entropy takes place, and how it becomes a key operator of entropic differentiation. This text draws a combinatorial map of how Serres connects understandings of entropy across a range of areas of knowledge. In this specific context, Serres’s path of translation harnesses the so-called ‘hard’ and the ‘soft’ forms of entropy in looking at literature and arts, yet also to discuss social phenomena and the formations of societies. By drawing attention to the negative spaces in Serres’s connective path of translating entropies, and in the course of reading his work in context with other philosophies of entropy, this section aims to explore Serres’s translations in the way it both connects and leaves gaps. Approaching Serres’s criticality in this way brings one to the critical, difficult, icy landscapes of the North-West-Passage and the role it plays in his work. The North-West-Passage epitomises a ‘method’ to conceive the difficult path between the natural sciences and the humanities – exactly the kind of path that ‘entropy’ often meanders on. In fact, entropy itself plays an important role in regard the icy landscape’s ecology, e.g. to the degree to which the passage is melted or frozen, and thus, to the possibility of the passage as such. By bringing these multi-layered aspects of entropy as a material, aesthetic, and critical factor together, this contribution places Serres’s take on entropy as an eco-critical path in the face of the melting of icy landscapes.

The idea of environmental racism has been gradually gaining visibility in the Brazilian environmental agenda after its emergence in the United States. It is present in academic narratives and environmental activism, generally associated with the concept of environmental injustice and based on political ecology, which has been occupying a prominent position in Latin America. We propose to discuss this concept without pretending to be exhaustive, considering its origin, trajectory, uses, controversies, and limits. We make a parallel between the U.S. and Latin America, underlining some common elements but also the differences in terms of posture, especially in the face of colonialism and capitalism. Then our attention is drawn to the Brazilian case, analyzing some peculiarities of the justice-injustice-environmental racism interface. Finally, we underscore the alternative horizons opened by this issue, based on local life models, ontologies, and cosmologies that increasingly find a prominent place on the environmental agenda, notably discussing the issue of human rights, the rights of nature and territories. In this article, the central ideas presented are guided by a critical and decolonial-inspired analysis of environmental issues.

This study aims to identify the reality of applying social responsibility in commercial banks by focusing on defining the concepts related to them and their relevance to institutions while presenting some of the activities and practices of the Jordan Ahli Bank in this field. The study concluded that the Jordanian official recognizes the importance of the Bank’s commitment to its social responsibility towards stakeholders in order to achieve their satisfaction and preserve its image.

Research Framework: Energy transition calls for a better understanding of daily practices and routines involved in energy consumption.Objectives: This article explores the relational dimension of everyday energy practices, and highlights the role played by social relations in transforming these practices.Methodology: This paper draws on a secondary analysis of qualitative data. The data come from co-design activities around energy savings carried out in the spring of 2021 with thirty-seven participants.Results: The results illustrate the process of intergenerational transmission and the negotiation of norms surrounding energy consumption within households and show how these exchanges play a direct part in the construction of family and couple life. The results also highlight the limitations contained in the material infrastructure and the tensions between parental and energy-efficient practices. Conclusions: To contribute to the energy transition, households, especially families, need a high degree of support. Adopting energy-efficient practices requires close collaboration between household members. They also need to be supported by programs and public policies that recognize the disparity of resources available for action, and take into account the diversity of their experiences and needs.Contribution: This paper contributes to the scientific literature by aiming to develop a better understanding of the role of social interactions in the realization of everyday practices, and in the adoption of sustainable lifestyles.
