This paper explores the methodology for the utilization of spider web-inspired additive manufacturing to enhance overhang support structures in 3D printing. Inspired by the strength and flexibility of spider silk, we propose an approach that reduces material consumption and postprocessing efforts. The methodology includes 3D printing spider webs, addressing key questions on silk production, web strength, and printing path generation. Experimental results demonstrate substantial weight reduction in printed objects, showcasing the efficiency of spider web-inspired support compared to traditional methods. The potential applications extend to hollow shell printing and efficient mass production.

This study combined biofilm method and A/O process reasonably to form the biological treatment system. This experiment focused on the performance of the system for domestic sewage according to the determination of CODCr, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus. The A/O-mixed carrier system had a good removal effect on organic pollutants for simulated domestic sewage. At the start-up period, the average removal rates of CODCr, ammonia nitrogen and total nitrogen were 92%, 90% and 55%, respectively. But the removal effect of total phosphorus was not ideal.

In this study, mice colitis model was induced by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS), and the preventive effect of Shuidouchi on colitis was observed. The mice were divided into normal group, model group, low-content Shuidouchi feeding group, high-content Shuidouchi feeding group and sulfasalazine group. Serum and colon tissues of mice were detected by endothelin-1 (ET-1), somatostatin (SS), substance P (SP), vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP), myeloperoxidase (MPO), glutathione (GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), interleukin-2 (IL-2), interleukin-10 (IL-10) kits. The results showed that compared with the model group, the feeding of Shuidouchi could significantly increase the length of colon and the ratio of colon weight to colon length in colitis mice (p < 0.05). By feeding Shuidouchi, the serum levels of ET, SP, IL-10 were decreased and SS, VIP, IL-2 were increased in mice with colitis. Detection of colon tissue in mice showed that Shuidouchi could significantly increase the levels of GSH, SOD and decrease the MPO, MDA levels in colitis mice (p < 0.05). It can be seen from this that Shuidouchi has a good preventive effect on colitis.

In order to study the effect of pulse current treatment on tool cutting performance of cemented carbide, on the basis of cutting experiment, the cutting performance of tool was treated by different current density (J=5 A/mm2, 15 A/mm2 and 35 A/mm2)processing and untreated tool was compared. The results showed that after the treatment of pulse current, when the cunent density J increases from 5 A/mm2 to 35 A/mm2, the hardness of small cylindrical sample and the transverse fracture strength of cuboid sample was improved than that untreated sample; the cutting performance increased 5.6%, 8.2% and 10.8% than that untreated tool, tool life has been improved. After the treatment of pulse current, pulse current provides the driving force for dislocation motion, strong driving force is more likely to make the dislocation multiplication and slip, high density dislocation cell is formed within the material, so that the mechanical properties increase significantly.
