As important pollutant in VOCs, toluene has serious impact on people's health and ed by using hydrotalcite as precursor due to the characteristics of its unique composition and controllable structure. Thus the technical problems of difficult control of structure and high cost of nano catalyst were solved. The mixed metal oxide was used as catalyst for toluene removal and its catalytic performance was studied. The results show that the hydrotalcite precursor with good structure can be obtained by both co-precipitation and hydrothermal method. The well-structured precursor can be synthesized in the range of mole ratios of 0:2:1 to 2:0:1 by different methods. When the reaction temperature is above 80 °C, the reaction speed is fast and the crystalline of hydrotalcite is high. The removal efficiency of toluene by catalyst assisted low temperature plasma is better than that of single low temperature plasma. The best catalytic removal efficiency of toluene is 42.10%, which is 1.8 times higher than that of single low temperature plasma. The order of catalytic performance of different catalysts and low temperature plasma for toluene removal is as follows: Zn-Mg-Al > Cu-Mg-Al > Mg-Al > Co-Mg-Al.

3D printing technology is known as the core technology of “the third industrial revolution”. Poly (lactic acid) (PLA) is a new type of biodegradable thermoplastic resin, which is renewable. It has a wide range of raw materials. It also has the properties of high strength, good biocompatibility, excellent mechanical properties, thermoplastic and transparency. Hydrotalcite (HT) was synthesized by coprecipitation method and modified to prepare the HT/PLA composites. The results show that the structure of HT is good. After KH550 surface modification, a large number of OH and Si-O groups are introduced into PLA surface. TG results show that the HT sample has good thermal stability. Compared with pure PLA, the glass transition temperature and crystallization temperature of HT / PLA composites decreases, while the melting temperature increases.

Hydrotalcite (HT) precursor was synthesized by coprecipitation method, and the surface of HT precursor was modified. The mixed metal oxide (MO) catalyst was prepared by calcination of HT precursor, which was used to remove toluene from VOCs assisted by NTP technology. The catalytic performance of MO catalyst was investigated. The results show that the MO catalyst with good structure can be obtained after calcination of HT precursor before and after modification. The results of catalytic performance test showed that the initial concentration of toluene was 700 ppm, the gas flow rate was 600 mL/min, and the reaction time was 30 min, SIE of NTP was above 3.0 kJ/L, the toluene conversion rate reached above 90%. MO assisted NTP had better catalytic performance with lower energy consumption. The toluene treatment capacity per unit energy consumption increased from 15.3% to 20.6%, which had an increase of 34.6%.
