NiO-based catalysts are among the most active and selective catalytic systems for low-temperature oxidative dehydrogenation (ODH) of ethane into ethylene and, therefore, they have been extensively studied in the last twenty-five years. This paper reviews the most relevant works focusing on NiO-based catalysts for ethane ODH, including promoted and unpromoted, bulk and supported NiO. The effects of the nature of the promoter and of the support together with the influence of the method of preparation used on their activity in ethane ODH are discussed in detail as they were shown to be key factors controlling the catalytic performance, including the catalyst stability. The reaction mechanism involved in ethane ODH reaction over NiO-based catalysts is also presented and discussed.

Performance indicators are much more than figures reported weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or even annually. They allow the understanding of the level of performance, the state of the business, so that a strategy can be developed. Shipping industry is more and more developed, and the managers are facing new challenges. The more accurate the knowledge, but especially the evaluation of the performance indicators, the more adjustments can be made correctly and in that way the management can reach fast, positive results for the long-term course of the developed business. In this paper we will analyze the importance of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and their role in port management.

The South Caucasus region has a strategic geopolitical significance due to its importance for energy transports to Europe, but the conflicts, the pandemic and the instability affect people’s safety. Moreover, these conflicts are an obstacle to the economic and social development of these countries, and the bilateral and multilateral relations with the West are affected due to influence that Russia has in these countries. In 2020, Azerbaijan seeks new ways for developing economic and commercial linkages with the West and identifies new opportunities for investment, as well as extend cooperation at international level. For Armenia, one of the main goals for 2020 was to identify the best solution for the Nagorny-Karabakh resolution conflict, but things have changed rapidly at the end of September 2020 when the latest Nagorny-Karabakh conflict broke out. Georgia had a lot of protests and social unrest starting with 2019; changing the electoral system was one of the most important requirements for the citizens and after a long period, the Government decide to change the law of electoral system in June 2020. All of these events from South Caucasus and the pandemic also have an important impact on the countries development in the process of establishing new relations with different actors and improving their linkages with the European Union.

Introduction. The increasing incidence of the breast cancer needs more comprehensive assessment approaches to ensure the best quality of the medical care before and after mastectomy and breast reconstruction, to minimize the negative consequences and to target maximum therapeutic compliance. The best results may be achieved in a multidisciplinary team. The objective of the study was to introduce the Multidisciplinary Management File for Breast Cancer Patients, for a more comprehensive management of the breast cancer case. Material and methods. Twenty patients of this prospective study, aged 32-65 years, divided into 2 groups: the study group (10 patients) in which the Multidisciplinary Management File for Breast Cancer Patients was used and the control group (10 patients), in which the classic approach was applied. Results. The openness for the multidisciplinary approach was increased in persons living in urban areas (80%) and with higher education (90% high school graduates or more). Unknown pathologies were detected: 3 thyroid diseases, 1 case of diabetes mellitus, 6 patients with postural changes, biomechanical alterations of the scapular belt, muscle compensations, anxiety (100%) and depression (3 patients). Six patients had breast reconstruction, compared to 3 patients in the control group. Conclusions. The data confirm the increased efficiency of the use of the Multidisciplinary Management File for Breast Cancer Patients, with a better objective and subjective evolution compared to the cases approached in a classical manner. Teamwork facilitates the communication between specialists, as well as between the specialists and the patients.

Primary extragonadal germ-cell tumors (EGCTs) are a rare group of neoplasms, that can exist anywere along the midline of the body, without the evidence of a primary gonadal tumor. Their morphology varies widely and includes teratoma, seminoma, yolk sac tumor, embryonal carcinoma, choriocarcinoma, and mixed GCTs. The ethiopathogenesis of EGCT is poorly understood, existing multiple theories. Diagnosis is often difficult, but an accurate one should be made in order to apply a correct management.

One of the most frequent kidney pathologies encountered in daily practice is represented by the presence of renal cysts. Most of them are asymptomatic and are found accidentally during periodical check-ups because they don’t have clinical signs until they grow and compress the surrounding organs. We have reviewed the current data regarding this pathology, in order to underline the risk of malignant transformation and its impact on the patient’s life. It is estimated that the prevalence rate of renal cysts in the general population is approximately 10% and it increases with age.Imaging investigations, such as contrast tomography or magnetic resonance imaging, are essential for establishing the cysts characteristics, especially when ultrasonography raises the suspicion of a modified renal cyst, as well as in guiding the therapeutical protocol. The Bosniak classification is based on contrast tomography scans and has allowed the standardization of the kidney cysts, considering their characteristics. More attention should be given to Bosniak IIF and III cystic renal masses, which contain thickened walls and more septa, but no enhanced nodules/soft tissue components, because more than half of these cysts can have a malignant component.

The aim of this paper was to analyze the prognostic features, clinical presentation, diagnosis and treatment of primary renal sarcomas. A thorough review of the literature was made using the PubMed database. Sarcomas of the kidney are very rare malignant tumors, with a very poor prognosis compared with the other urogenital sarcomas. Several histological types have been reported, with the most common type being leiomyosarcoma. Besides complete surgical resection with wide margins, anatomical, histological, molecular and genetic factors should be taken into consideration regarding the prognosis.

Introduction. Iatrogenic injury of the urinary tract in women undergoing pelvic surgeries is one of the most feared complications and an important source of significant morbidity. Moreover, they cause a lot of anxiety to both patient and surgeon and they also create many legal concerns. The most commonly affected organs are the ureter, bladder and urethra. Urologic injury during obstetrics and gynecologic surgery should always be a matter of prevention, but there are situations in which prevention fails. With this article we intend to raise the awareness on potential situations leading to iatrogenic urinary tract lesions during obstetrics and gynecology surgery. CASE Cases presentation. Three different cases of iatrogenic injuries at various sites of the urinary tract during pelvic surgeries are presented and preventive and treatment measures are discussed. Conclusions. Most iatrogenic urinary tract lesions are prone to occur during difficult surgeries, but a significant number of iatrogenic injuries are made during routine interventions, even by the most trained surgeons. Therefore, preventing and recognizing iatrogenic urinary tract injuries is of highest importance for all surgeons performing interventions in the pelvic area.

Din anul 2004 până în anul 2018, în secția ginecologică a Spitalului Clinic Municipal „Sf. Arhanghel Mihail” au fost spitalizați și operați 1195 de pacienți cu prolaps genital. Metode de operații de tratare vaginale: colporafia anterioară cu colpeperineomiorafie - 460, operația Manchester - 500, extirparea vaginală a uterului - 155, colporafia medie după Neugebauer Lefort – 42, pexia transvaginală a cupolei vaginului la anoneuroza mușchiului drept abdominal - 38%. Eficacitatea tratamentului chirurgical după 3 ani la 873 pacienți (73%): 1. Colporafia anterioară cu colpeperineomiorafie - 92% 2. Operația Manchester - 88% 3. Extirparea vaginală a uterului - 89% 4. Colporafia medie și lexia transvaginală a cupolei vaginale fără recidive de prolaps.

The engagement in the French army during the Algerian war condemned the harkis to a silent existence. Considered as traitors in their country of birth, and undesirable in their country of exile, they strive to remain invisible and silent. In the writings of their descendants, who decided one day to tell the traumatic Hi/story of their community, a character inevitably stands out: the father walled in silence, leading his life alone, for fear of disappointing or not being able to give the best explanations for a "shameful" past. To illustrate the different "configurations" and values of the "entrenched words" that the descendants of harkis inscribe in their literary works, we will base our analysis on the novels Mon père, ce harki (2003) by Dalila Kerchouche, Mohand, le harki (2003) by Hadjila Kemoum and L'Art de perdre (2017) by Alice Zeniter. It reveals that imports have increased in the last decade compared to exports, which had an importance quite special, and taken the fact that for two decades, every year, the trade balance of Romania was deficient in terms of exports and politics foreign trade. Moreover, the balance has increased exponentially in recent times.

The article approaches a current issue of great interest for both the theoretical and the applied linguistics. It is about the report between the properties expressed by an adjective or adverb during the act of comparison, which report has been seen as unified by traditional grammar and presented therefore undifferentiated. They were called the grammatical category of comparative or simply as comparative degree. Lately, the linguists have added the concept of intensity parallel with the comparative degree. This has led to the identification of two grammatical categories: the comparative degree and the intensity without a clear delineation to be made between them. My article reflects the current situation in Romanian grammar. The firsts to talk about intensity and in a Romanian grammar were Vladimir Robu and Iorgu Iordan in their Contemporary Romanian Language, (Didactic and Pedagogic Publishing House, Bucharest, 1978). The idea was taken up in other grammar books, such as the first and second volume of the Romanian Grammar, The Word and The statement, (Romanian Academy Publishing House, Bucharest, 2005) and The Basic Romanian Grammar, (Encyclopedic Universe Publishing, Bucharest, 2010). Both books led to a different solution than the one proposed by Vladimir Robu. The information contained in this article is intended as a database for a wide analysis of an interesting issue in Romanian grammar today.

Public debt is created when the necessary resources for the socio-economic development of a state are greater than the opportunities that exist at that time. The destination of the necessary resources acquired from foreign markets can be either consumption by raising the standard of living (on short term) or investments in order to reduce the discrepancies in relation to the European Union through investments in infrastructure, jobs, human and technical capital development. The scientific research aims to clarify several key objectives, namely: the theoretical concept and its belonging in the governance politics; the dynamics of public debt in Romania and the identification of specific features of the indebtedness decision, the influence of the current global economic crisis on the Romanian economy, the analysis of Romania's public debt sustainability integrated in the European structures, and proposals for action in order to return as soon as possible to a positive economic dynamics with direct impact on people's standard of living. The theme of this research is contemporary in the context of the financial and economical global crisis and the difficulties in overcoming this period. The need to coordination the fiscal and budgetary policies in Romania, the awareness that the accumulation of a large public debt presents a threat to future generations, the increase of the tax pressure over a market that trends towards globalization and the impact that the aging of the population will have on the public finances sparked public controversy, both in the academic environment and in the media. To continuously borrow resources and maintain a stable level for them requires a sustainable public debt, an important objective of any state's tax policy. A sustainable public debt is the result of the market and of the fiscal and budgetary policy decisions. Although the sustainability of public finances and implicitly of public debt has been an issue extensively debated for over a century, they currently remain vague concepts. Although, intuitively, it is natural to consider that a fiscal policy is sustainable if it avoids financial collapse, there is no generally accepted definition in terms of sustainable public debt, respectively a sustainable level of public debt. The methodology of this research is stressed by the large number of statistical data on public debt dynamics used in the analysis, relevant in this regard are the national and international databases: the National Bank of Romania, Ministry of Public Finances, World Bank, Euro stat, the statistical database of the European Commission, the database of the International Monetary Fund, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, the normative documents consulted in order to ensure the terminological accuracy of the concepts, the numerous theoretical and empirical studies of Romanian and foreign specialists, the views and arguments of scientific researchers with high experience in the field. The personal contribution to the researched field is present throughout this work. Thus, I aimed to clarify some theoretical aspects of the issues addressed, of some concepts and economic notions to elucidate the studied phenomenon by using a large number of statistical data in order to analyses the dynamics of public debt in Romania, in comparison with other former communist countries and to formulate proposals for a long-term sustained recovery and a sustainable economic growth.

The aim of this note is to give several sufficient conditions, for some classes of line graphs, to be Hamiltonian.

Our article presents possibilities of applying the concept Fuzzy Networks for an efficient metallurgical industry in Romania. We also present and analyze Fuzzy Networks complementary concepts, such as Expert Systems (ES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Analytics and Intelligent Strategies (SAI). The main results of our article are based on a case study of the possibilities of applying these concepts in metallurgy through Fuzzy Networks. There are presented the domains afferent to KIBS are defined complying with the standardized classification of industrial sectors according to European Monitoring Centre on Change (EMCC). It is also analyze important approaches in the specific scientific literature, the research methodology a study case. KIBS concept implementation to the Romanian metallurgical industry aims also to include performance of activities concerning the formulation and development of new specific concepts.

The purpose of this study is to compare the corrosion and tarnish behavior of NiCrMo and CoCrMo cast dental alloys in artificial bio environments. The cobalt chromium alloys are known and used in dentistry for many years, but its difficult machinability because of the strength and hardness, is an argument for scientists to study alternative materials with comparable biocompatibility. On the other hand, for dentistry devices beside corrosion behavior is important the aesthetic so, the used alloys have to preserve their shining and do not stain. The corrosion resistance has been evaluated using the Atomic mass spectroscopy method for ion release determination, the anodic polarization curves and the open circuit potential – time monitoring for corrosion behavior evaluation and optical microscopy for the structure analysis. The tarnish tendency of alloys was estimated using the method of cyclic immersion with frequency of 10 seconds for each minute during 72 hours in Na2S containing solution. The most important conclusion is that the alloys are comparable from corrosion and tarnish point of view, but we recommend to use the nickel base alloy only for orthodontic devices implanted for short periods of time, because of higher quantity of released ions.

In this paper, we give the maximal number of (k+r)-colouring of a graph with n vertices and chromatic number k. Also, we obtain the maximal values for chromatic polynomial of a graph.

The international migrations represent a challenge for the European countries for being one of the factors that they contribute to the development of the economic and social well-being of the countries of reception, to become rejuvenated of your population and to the transformation of your societies. The immigration, besides, raises to these democratic societies another important challenge, of having systems of integration that guarantee the respect of the rights of the persons who receive. From middle of the eighties, Spain passed in a relatively unexpected way, of being a country of emigration to having a positive balance in the migratory flow (Izquierdo, 1996). Opposite to this immigrants’ avalanche that they try to bring over on the verge of Spain, the Spanish State organized by means of projects and programs destined to face to this process increasingly intensively. In the last years, the studies and the investigations have been intensified destined to the migratory flows proceeding from Romania, country that in the last two years increased in a considerable way his number of immigrants. This article proposes to present and to characterize aspects related to the Rumanians’ immigration in the Community of Madrid. From a qualitative and quantitative survey that we carried out in 2005, with the motive of the accomplishment of the project of Research ‘Immigration, formation and employment in the Community of Madrid’, we will present very brief the features social and demographics more typical of the above mentioned community, the labour aspects, emphasizing in the disruptions between the formation in the native land and the employment in the Community of Madrid, and the integration of the same one in the society of Madrid of reception.

The thriller tells daily explosive facts which take place, in most of the time, in a urban space. The authors describe, as the critics have observed, the most serious troubles in today's society. Crimes, racism, trafficking, terrorism, theft, etc., all these crimes become the mark of an unbalanced world, a world in crisis. The "suburban" thriller, like suburban literature in general, circumscribes the scene in which the modern "misérables" clash. HLM, dangerous neighborhoods suffer because of urban disintegration, their inhabitants become victims of spatial and social dissolution. Rachid Santaki portrays in his novels young people who have lost their bearings, actors in a society where money is the only value, where violence is commonplace. In our contribution, we propose to see what are the different aspects of the French social malaise that Santaki denounces in the novels Flic ou Caillera (2013) and Les Princes du bitume (2017). In this note, we prove the conjecture of Abelson and Rosenberg, on the maximal degree of balance of a graph, with n vertices, and we characterize these maximal graphs.

The aim of this paper is to solve a problem of Capobianco and Molluzzo [2, pag. 65]. More exactly, we show that for any two integers n and m, 1there exists a graph G, such that k(G)=n and k[L(G)]=m, where k(G) denotes the connectivity of G , and L(G) the line graph of G.
