The low quality of the new rolling bearings leads to additional costs for electric motor repair, and additional expenses connected with the technological process, value of which can reach from several thousand to tens of thousand dollars. To increase detection, the reliability of rolling bearing defects of asynchronous motors, complex vibration diagnostics was used at informative frequencies in the vibration frequency and amplitude in the range of 5-5000 Hz. Based on the diagnostic model of rolling bearings the software program “Tayamnitsa” is developed, which allows to calculate the diagnostic frequency corresponding to certain defects, determine the defect level and form a diagnostic table for defects. Vibration diagnostics of new and used rolling bearings have been conducted for various regional enterprises and power plants. It has been determined that 40-50% of used bearings are removed in good technical condition. When new bearings were diagnosed in the 500-5000 Hz range, only 48.4% of the bearings are considered serviceable due to the low accuracy class of metal processing and unacceptably high vibration level.

In the last decade, the scientific field of enterprise architecture has been formed and is actively developing. The study of enterprise architecture has become an important research task. In the article the authors managed to trace the connection between the architecture of the enterprise and the management of the social system. To consider the personnel as a part of the architectural approach. To apply typological analysis and personnel construction method to the architectural framework. Many organizations have ongoing challenges and are in constant search of synchronization of business goals and objectives and their information system development processes. Enterprise architecture is used to solve these problems. These problems reflect the need for research and change in the methods of management of social systems in the organization.

Strategic diagnostics of an organization’s development is based on an assessment of its effectiveness. The developed methods of analysis of the assessment of the development strategy are based on the definition of indicators that, in accordance with certain strategic plans, include the entire range of target indicators. The methodology is based on the calculation of integral indicators characterizing the achievement of the set strategic goals. As these indicators based on certain strategic parameters, evaluation indicators characterizing the potential of sustainable development of the organization are proposed. These indicators are recommended to be used as indicators of achieving strategic goals and implementing a sustainable development strategy.

Digital transformation of the construction sector is one of the key tasks in the development of the digital economy both in Russia and abroad. However, at present, the digital transformation of the construction sector is carried out at an insufficient pace due to the lack of an effective mechanism for financing this process in construction. In this article, we have collected and analysed data on financing mechanisms for digital transformation projects in the construction sector in the European Union, China, India, UAE, as well as in Russia. As a result of this study, we substantiate the relevance of improving the mechanisms to finance digital transformation projects in the construction sector and substantiate the dependence of the pace of digital transformation in the construction sector on the level of development of the mechanism for financing the digital transformation process.

Changes in the forest-tundra ecotone of Orligtashyl mountain (Kuznetsk Alatau) were analyzed based on the available satellite CORONA (1971) and Wordlview (2013) imagery. Forest stands were identified on the Worldview scene using Iso cluster classification. On the CORONA scene stands were differentiated from the background area using statistical analysis of histogram of the identified classes’ brightness values and were harmonized with the classification of the Wordlview imagery. Kappa-statistics showed good accuracy (κ = 0.93) of the Wordlview imagery classification and the average for CORONA (κ = 0.67). Area of stands increased by ~38% during the analyzed period. Maximal area increase was observed on the south-eastern warm slopes. Significant changes were determined on the elevational boundary of the ecotone where the stands’ elevation boundary shifted up by ~9 m (0.2 m/yr.). GIS analysis revealed that trees form elongated clusters mainly directed across the slope. Observed changes occurred along with summer temperature increase during 1971–2013 by 0.3°С/decade (r2 = 0.32, p < 0.01).

Energy systems are a typical example of complex and dynamic systems and the study of their structure is of particular interest in theoretical and practical terms. Becoming the main trend of diversification and, renewable energies play important role in the evolution and dynamics of energy balances at the international, national, and local levels. Usually, natural sciences use Information Theory and the concept of entropy to assess diversity, uncertainty, and chaos in systems with a high number of components. An alternative approach to assess system complexity is to consider these issues from point of view of the concentration of resources, dominance, and hierarchy in the interactions between system components. This report presents an original method developed by the author for assessing the hierarchy in energy mix structures and the role of renewable energies. The author’s studies in the field of energy explore the evolution of markets and energy balances (energy mixes) on an international, regional and national level with a special focus on the European Union and Bulgaria. The hierarchy approach provides results in a more logical, objective, and balanced format and improves the analysis in terms of energy security and diversification. In this paper, is presented a research on the structure of the energy mix in Bulgaria.

EU countries face two major challenges in the energy sector – the control of carbon emissions and the high dependence on imported primary energy sources. Both European Commission and national governments actively develop, update and upgrade strategies and plans for the energy sector. They aim to ensure the gradual reaching of consecutive targets for increasing the weight of Renewable Energies (RE) in the European primary energy mix. The selection of Renewable Energy investment projects in these sectors involves different groups of experts who have to consider the specifics of different countries, regions, and technologies. The Decision-making process becomes more complicated, as in addition to political goals it has to ensure the efficiency and competitiveness of European economies. Several conflicting objectives have to be balanced with complex social, economic, technological, and environmental factors. Our study explores the application of combined methods and evaluation techniques for improving the assessment and selection of prospective RE projects. We implement an innovative integration of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) for block criteria systematization combined with objective Shannon Entropy in the MOORA evaluation.

Assessment of feasibility of applying the chosen organization development strategy should be based on assessment of its effectiveness. The proposed methods for assessing the development strategy provide for defining indexes that, in accordance with set strategic goals, should take into account an entire set of target strategic indexes. The methodology consists in calculating integral indexes characterizing achievement of set strategic goals. As such indexes, which take into account key strategic parameters, estimated development indexes and assessments of the organization sustainable development potential are proposed. These indexes should be used as an indicator of the development strategy and achievement of strategic goals.

The study is discussing the method of increasing the effectiveness of targeted advertising. Targeted advertising is the most popular form of advertising on social networks. The key element of the method is the formation of content considering the typological characteristics of the individual. The key problem that is solved by this method is increasing consumer loyalty to the brand or product through the formation of a perception of the value of the product. Perception of product value is formed by adapting advertising content and reaction to consumer actions. The characteristics of metrics for assessing the effectiveness of discretization of the audience of targeted advertising are given. The methodology of forming an individualized marketing strategy in the context of the differentiation of consumers specified in the article is discussed. Conclusions are drawn about the applicability of the proposed method for a traditional and digital sales channel.

The study describes a simulation model for the formalization of implicit knowledge about the team. The existing algorithms and methods of work to increase the amount of useful knowledge about the human capital of the organization do not allow obtaining knowledge about the development of the team and internal relationships. The effectiveness of architectural transformations directly depends on the quality of human capital management. The proposed model formalizes relations in the organization and proposes to form one of 4 strategies for personnel development, considering the individual characteristics of each of the employees. The article introduces the concepts of types of thinking and their connection to the life cycle of an organization. The study showed that the assessment of the organization’s personnel composition reveals the hidden cause-effect relationships between the effectiveness of the team and the stages of the organization’s life cycle.

The climatic response of birch in eastern Kuznetzky Alatau Mountains (Siberia) were analysed based on dendrochronology data. Studied climate variables included temperature, precipitation and root zone moisture (RZM). Periods with maximal correlations for each variable were found. It was established that radial increment was limited by June temperature and July RZM. Correlations of radial increment and ecoclimatic factors were higher when a negative anomalies of respective factor occurred. To estimate the advancement rate of birch trees along elevation gradient, three elevational transects were laid in mountain forest-tundra ecotone. Estimated advancement rate is about 0.5 m per year. Although temperature have a stimulating effect on birch’s radial increment and advancement on elevation gradient in Kuznetzky Alatau Mountains, some depressions in radial increment corresponds to years with soil moisture decrease.

This study addresses the issue of developing a model of value proposition in public management field. Value mapping is a vital feature for a digital modelling and analysis methods. The developed method is based on the Alexander Osterwalder business model canvas. An approach makes it possible to track the system intra-relations during a problem solving due to a value proposition and, accordingly, changes in the public management model. It represents an essential part of reference model for public management architecture and reveals the dependence of local municipalities on federal and regional state authorities due to financial shortage.

Changes in the external environment, market and technology require adaptability and flexibility of organizations. It is realized through system monitoring and continuous business transformation and requires changes in the system of goals and indicators, policies, business processes, organizational structure, and IT solutions. Such transformations need systemic coordination in several functional areas: strategic management, performance management, business process management, organizational design, information systems design, personnel management, knowledge management, etc. The article describes possibilities of transforming the enterprise architecture through personnel design. This method is not studied well enough as the human factor is mostly unpredictable, but it is the basis of all transformations. The developed methodology was tested at the department of Vyatka State University. As a result, the authors have identified reasons for the low efficiency of certain types of activities and described necessary intertypes for strengthening positions. The research states that intertype analysis allows to simulate the microclimate in a department or organization. Moreover, understanding intertype relationships helps to manage implicit knowledge and communication between employees, which is very important according to Kaizen.

Using a laboratory micro-autoclave (of ~ 20 cm3 volume), the effects of transition metal additives (MoO3, Fe2O3 and commercial AlCoMo catalyst) on the thermal transformations of tile-like Barzas coals (sapromixites) in a hydrogen medium at T ~ 475°C and P ~ 6.0-7.5 MPa have been studied. It has been shown that catalytic additives under investigation somewhat suppress gas formation processes, facilitating the increase in H/C atomic ratios and in the amount of alkyl-containing structures in resin-like solid products of Barzas coal hydro-liquefaction. Maximal yields of “coal liquids” (maltenes + asphaltenes) (~ 35 wt.%, daf basis) were obtained during the heat treatment of sapromixites in the presence of bb1 wt.% MoO3.

The paper considers the examples of technical production tests to determine the bearing capacity of the structural elements of technological machines and equipment used in various industries and agriculture: the bearing beam of the front axle of the combine harvester, fixed support plates of the apparatus for the production of plastic containers, bearing profiles of the thermal press designed to connect the ends of conveyor belts of various sizes, etc. The nature of stress distribution and deformations in the elements of the existing variants of technological machines and equipment allowed to identify shortcomings in their design. Analysis of calculations in ANSYS environment allowed to recommend variants of models of technological machines and equipment with better indicators of bearing capacity. This will greatly improve their reliability and performance.

The World Economic Forum estimates that digital transformations have a huge potential for developing business and society within the next decade and the global economy can earn over 30 trln $ additionally for a period up to 2025 [1]. A significant portion of the advantages will be given to the countries, which will deeply and comprehensively implement information and communication technologies to allow the state, society and business to interact. A high speed of data transmission and exchange of information allows innovations to diffuse both at the intra-industry and cross-industry levels, which promotes competitive strength of companies, countries and world’s regions by increasing labor efficiency. In this article we have considered the programs being implemented in developed and developing countries to promote conditions for digital transformation of society and industry, boost industrial cooperation in the research and development, innovative and production areas, develop industrial and innovative infrastructure facilities, upgrade existing production facilities and create new innovative sectors of economy.

Using FTIR spectroscopy, elemental analysis and gas chromatography methods, the temperature effects on the thermal transformations of low-metamorphosed Barzas coal (sapromixite) in carbon dioxide media have been studied. According to the IR spectroscopic data, an increase in the relative content of alkyl groups (-CH3 and >CH2) in the solid residue of sapromixite with a rise in the process temperature up to ~ 475°C was observed, followed by a rapid decrease in their concentration at higher heat treatment temperatures. Such behavior may be associated with an initial accumulation of alkyl fragments, formedfrom the coal matter, and their subsequent transition into the gaseous phase. A close relationship (an antibate dependence) has been discovered between H/C atomic ratios in resin-containing solid products of thermally treated Barzas coal and the yields of gases formed during its pyrolysis. Chromatographic analysis of liquid products formed after Barzas coal heat treatment at 475°C showed that the main organic constituents of liquid phase (about 3-5% by weight) were phenol and its methyl-and dimethyl derivatives (their total content in methylene chloride extract was of > 77% by weight).

Using thermal analysis and photoacoustic IR spectroscopy techniques, the abilities to be hydrogenated for some low-metamorphosed Kuzbass coals have been estimated in the aim of studying the possibilities of their deep industrial processing to obtain liquid fuels and valuable chemical products. Two independent parameters for quick assessment of solid fuel suitability for hydrogenation processes under high pressure of hydrogen have been proposed: 1) the relative maximal rate of coal pyrolysis in the 300-500°C temperature range, [(1/mo) • dm/dT] (calculated from thermal analysis data), and 2) the intensity of aliphatic IR absorption bands (the sum of their optical densities), normalized to the optical density of an IR absorption band associated with aromatic ring C=C-bonds [i.e., (D2920+D2860)/D1600] (obtained from photoacoustic FTIR spectra of coal materials). It has been shown that for a number of low-metamorphosed Kuzbass coals (Barzas sapromixite, Itatsky lignite and Karakansky longflame coal) the above mentioned parameters were in good consistency with generally accepted hydrogenation ability parameters of solid fossil fuels – atomic H/C ratios and volatile matter values.

The authors examined whether the groups of aged people who, following the public invitation of the gerontological institutes in the capitals of two countries, i. e. in Budapest and in Sofia requested health examination respectively preventive care, are in conformity regarding their organic and mental health state, their personality characteristics and the self-evaluation of their own situation. We found that the same invitation was accepted in Sofia by a group whose organic and mental health state was objectively worse than of the group in Budapest. The deviations of the typical complaints and the correlations of the self-evaluations both point to the fact that the various sociocultural units and traditions modify the notion which people formed of the health care and of the possibilities which might be expected from it. The international experiences in care and in the organization have to be flexibly adapted when they are used.
