Reporta-se este trabalho a um dicionário manuscrito de português-chinês datável do século XVIII, um códice inédito da Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal cuja edição preparámos nos últimos anos, no qual foram incluídas numerosas entradas relativas a mandarins, bem como equivalentes chineses específicos para os mesmos. Este conjunto de verbetes é muito informativo quanto ao que se considerava ser o mandarim, aos seus vários tipos, procedimentos, carreiras, utensílios, privilégios, família, etc., em muitos casos merecendo palavra própria, exclusiva do mandarim, ou de classes iguais ou mais elevadas. A comparação com as obras lexicográficas e gramaticais de Joaquim Afonso Gonçalves revela um curioso desaparecimento deste tipo de informação logo no século seguinte, podendo o próprio termo mandarim ser ignorado em benefício de outros tão opacos e gerais como empregado, ou sinónimos menos precisos que parecem ter servido para evitar o uso daquele lexema, como ministro e magistrado.

Starting from an original vocation entirely dedicated to the conservation, valorization and enjoyment of artworks, in recent decades, public museum spaces have increasingly opened up to hosting dance performance events. The interaction between museum and dance has led to a more excellent articulation of the possibilities of fruition of both, testing new configurations of mixing choreography and figurative arts, experimenting with dynamics of exchange and overlap of the respective audiences, and suggesting a rereading and reinterpretation of the spaces exhibition. The article intends, through the analysis of some recent experiences, to explore some of the effects of this dialogue between dance and museum, with particular reference to the role that a further subject has played in it: videographic and cinematographic art. Particular attention was therefore paid to the use of screendance as a preferential language for the documentation and dissemination of the dance performance interventions planned and implemented in museum spaces. The recording of the performances in a new artistic video product, with its expressive language born from the meeting of choreographic art and cinematographic art, takes on, in these cases, the value of mediation between the ephemeral dimension inherent to dance and the tendency towards archiving and to the conservation over time typical of the museum dimension.

To investigate the correlation between microspore development stage and the appearance and morphology of flower organs in Pisum sativum, the novel pea materials YP58 and YW90 were employed as experimental subjects. Flower buds exhibiting varying diametral ranges were chosen for cytological examination, and the saffron solid green staining method was employed to discern the diverse developmental stages and morphological attributes of microspores. Furthermore, the association between flower bud size and microspore development stage was examined. The findings revealed that the microspore development in both pea materials predominantly encompassed the microspore mother cell stage, tetrad stage, early and middle mononuclear stage and late mononuclear stage, each displaying distinct features. Notably, the development duration of microspores exhibited a close correlation with the longitudinal diameter of the flower bud. The correlation between microspore development progression and the longitudinal diameter of the flower bud was consistent in both pea materials. Therefore, the longitudinal diameter of the flower bud can serve as a primary indicator for assessing the microspore development stage.

Pipeline hydrogen transport is one of the main technical paths to achieve large-scale storage and transportation of hydrogen energy, and standards are important technical support for pipeline hydrogen transport applications. China’s hydrogen pipeline construction started late, and a relatively complete hydrogen pipeline standard system has been established in the world, but China’s hydrogen pipeline standard system has not been established, the lack of key technical standards and other problems. This paper investigates the current situation of hydrogen transport pipeline standards and the applicability to China. A standard system is preliminarily constructed for hydrogen transport pipelines, including 6 sub-systems and 23 technical standard fields. Some suggestions are put forward for the development of China’s hydrogen pipeline standardization.

The geological structure of the reservoir in Bozi-Dabei area is complex, and the longitudinal difference of rock mechanical properties of the reservoir is large. Most of the current evaluation techniques after reservoir reconstruction are based on the fitting of construction pressure based on the logging curve of a single well, so as to analyze the fracture morphology and the geometric dimensions of length, width and height after pressure. It is difficult to explain the fracture morphology and geometric parameters correctly because the interpretation methods used do not comprehensively consider the influence of natural fractures, 3D geological properties and 3D geomechanical properties. In order to explain the artificial fracture morphology more accurately, the target layer ant body is generated by using 3D original seismic data, and the natural fracture model of three different reservoir types in Bozi X block is generated, which provides geological basis for the integrated demonstration. By combining dynamic and static data and multidisciplinary methods, a one-dimensional rock mechanics profile model is established, and a three-dimensional geomechanical model of three different reservoir types in Block X of Bozi is established by combining geological model and deep diagenesis theory. The matching relationship between horizontal stress, fault strike and natural tensile fracture distribution is comprehensively analyzed and evaluated, providing a geomechanical basis for the evaluation of integrated reservoir reconstruction. Integrated geological model and geomechanical model are closely combined with engineering parameters to establish an integrated true three-dimensional artificial fracture model. On this basis, the optimization research and design of the parameters of displacement, liquid volume and sand ratio are completed. The optimal flow rate of Class I reservoir 6-7 (m³·min-1), Class II reservoir 5-6 (m³·min-1), Class III reservoir 4-5 (m³·min-1), Class I reservoir 600-700 m³, Class II reservoir 600-700 m³, Class III reservoir 500-600 m³, Sand ratio of 15%-20% for Class I reservoir, 15%-20% for class II reservoir and 20%-25% for class III reservoir are the optimal construction parameters, which provide guidance for field construction.

The Psychology of Working Theory (PWT) was developed to complement existing vocational theories[1], in which work volition is a central construct. There is a lack of local measurement tools for Chinese university students’ work volition, which restricts the breadth and depth of research. Based on survey data from 960 college students nationwide, this study explored the cross-cultural validity of the WVS-SV. Through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis, a measurement scale of work volition was developed involving two dimensions of volition and constraints, with a total of fourteen items. This study opens up new perspectives for work volition research, enriches the literature on careers guidance research, and provides an effective measurement tool for subsequent research on college students’ work volition.

The garbage leachate generated by the waste transfer station has the characteristics of scattered water sources, relatively small water quantity, large fluctuations in water quality and quantity, and high concentrations of organic matter, ammonia nitrogen, suspended solids, and other pollutants. These characteristics make it prone to environmental hazards. This paper analyzes the characteristics and hazards of leachate from waste transfer stations and introduces the current research status of physico-chemical, biological, and combined treatment of leachate from waste transfer stations. Meanwhile, this paper introduces engineering practices for leachate treatment in waste transfer stations, offering a valuable reference for research and engineering practices in this field. Finally, this review discusses pretreatment, economic, low-carbon, and high-efficiency treatment methods and facilities, the recovery of valuable elements, energy recycling technologies, and the demand outlook for high-standard deep treatment processes.

The research purpose of this study is to explore the status and causes of learning burnout among college students and dig out the countermeasures of solving this issue. The study takes 400 students of different majors, grades and genders from three normal universities as subjective in Southwest China, and the questionnaires including demographic information, learning burnout status, learning burnout causes were distributed to them, finally, 395 valid questionnaires were collected. Using IBM SPSS Statistics 22.0 software for statistical analysis (T-test), the results shows that there exists the phenomenon of learning burnout among university students, and there are significant differences in learning burnout in terms of gender, grade and major; Meanwhile, through regression analysis, it can be seen that each factor has different degrees of influencing the learning burnout, so the accordingly countermeasures are suggested. The study is hoped to put forward some countermeasures for learning burnout, so that it is better service the educational quality.

The overarching objective of this study was to explore online learning effect of English writing combining teachers’ teaching engagement with perceptive interaction behaviour of students. The Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) of online teaching and the questionnaire of perceptive interaction behaviours from students were adopted to find the appropriate participants in this study, and finally four teachers with different levels of work engagement (high vs. low) were selected and 100 undergraduates in university with Perceptive Oral Interaction (POI) and Perceptive Written Interaction (PWI) were verified, One-way ANOVA were used to check the homogeneity of variances (p< .05). Through the writing test scores, the two-way ANOVA was conducted to find whether the teachers’ engagement (high vs. low) affects students’ English writing learning, whether the types of perceptive interaction behaviours (POI vs. PWI) affect their English writing learning gains, and whether there is an interaction between teachers’ engagement and types of perceptive interaction behaviours on their English writing learning. The results shows that there is a significant interaction between teacher’s online work engagement and students’ online behavioural perceptive interaction, and students with POI behaviour under the guidance of high work engagement from teachers yield higher learning gains than the other groups. However, the results also shows that students with POI got lower effect than students with PWI when they all met the teachers with low online work engagement, which need to be further studied in the future.

The paper presents a series of experimental studies on the anisotropic small strain stiffness of a biocemented glass sand. Multidirectional shear wave velocities were measured on the isotropic consolidated samples in a triaxial cell. The biotreatment method, shear wave velocity, and its anisotropy of the biocemented sand were reported. It is found that the shear wave velocity increases with the increase of cementation level and the stiffness anisotropy firstly increases then decreases with the increase of cementation level. The paper aims to provide a new way to simulate the undisturbed state of sandy soils in laboratory with the microbially induced calcite precipitation technique.

Conventional methods for monitoring pavement healthy states have the disadvantages of low efficiency and being time-consuming and destructive. Current studies indicate that traditional machine learning algorithms showed poor performance and low generalization capacity in identifying asphalt pavement aging and damage conditions. Further, deep learning network models have less been applied to the detection of asphalt pavement aging types and damage objects from UAV imagery. In this study, we first used a low-altitude UAV platform to acquire multispectral images of road pavement with centimeter-level spatial resolution. The fine spatial resolution can provide detailed textural information of the pavement damage objects such as cracks and potholes. Afterwards, we combined multiscale semantic segmentation, using the CNN model and SVM classifier into a framework to extract pavement potholes and cracks and classify the pavement surfaces into three aging states. Results demonstrated that the proposed framework achieved the highest overall accuracy (87.83% and 92.96%) and recall rate (85.4% and 90.65%) in the classification of the asphalt pavement images in the two segments of roads in Xinjiang, China. We concluded that the combination of the CNN + SVM and low-altitude UAV multispectral images would contribute to improve the accuracy in the detection of asphalt pavement aging states and damaged objects.

Abstract Background The most prolific duck genetic resource in the world is located in Southeast/South Asia but little is known about the domestication and complex histories of these duck populations. Results Based on whole-genome resequencing data of 78 ducks (Anas platyrhynchos) and 31 published whole-genome duck sequences, we detected three geographic distinct genetic groups, including local Chinese, wild, and local Southeast/South Asian populations. We inferred the demographic history of these duck populations with different geographical distributions and found that the Chinese and Southeast/South Asian ducks shared similar demographic features. The Chinese domestic ducks experienced the strongest population bottleneck caused by domestication and the last glacial maximum (LGM) period, whereas the Chinese wild ducks experienced a relatively weak bottleneck caused by domestication only. Furthermore, the bottleneck was more severe in the local Southeast/South Asian populations than in the local Chinese populations, which resulted in a smaller effective population size for the former (7100–11,900). We show that extensive gene flow has occurred between the Southeast/South Asian and Chinese populations, and between the Southeast Asian and South Asian populations. Prolonged gene flow was detected between the Guangxi population from China and its neighboring Southeast/South Asian populations. In addition, based on multiple statistical approaches, we identified a genomic region that included three genes (PNPLA8, THAP5, and DNAJB9) on duck chromosome 1 with a high probability of gene flow between the Guangxi and Southeast/South Asian populations. Finally, we detected strong signatures of selection in genes that are involved in signaling pathways of the nervous system development (e.g., ADCYAP1R1 and PDC) and in genes that are associated with morphological traits such as cell growth (e.g., IGF1R). Conclusions Our findings provide valuable information for a better understanding of the domestication and demographic history of the duck, and of the gene flow between local duck populations from Southeast/South Asia and China.

In this article we bring together conceptual threads from political ecology, commodity geographies and agrarian studies to enable an inquiry into the political nature of crops. This inquiry is underpinned by the idea that crops are not just a means or a target of political projects, but can have effects through their webs of relations, and that their different capacities might mean that they may differently engage in political projects. This article examines how specialized cash crops in rural China are enrolled in state projects. We explore the cases of orange orchards in Hubei and apple orchards in Hebei by detailing flows of capital and expertise, and smallholder-crop relations. Our analysis demonstrates that a political ecology of cash crops can provide insight into the politics of successive state projects that have been rolled out in China's agricultural communities. We argue that through evolving relations with smallholders, the attributes of the crops themselves, and particular market dynamics, robust smallholder-crop complexes have emerged that are currently proving resistant to the latest state project to achieve at-scale, industrialized agriculture. If we take political crops and their relations seriously in the story of contemporary agrarian change in China, we find that apple and oranges, previously with the state, can also come to act against it.

Hot-in-place recycling of asphalt pavement is one of the important regeneration technologies of pavement engineering, which apply to the pavements with fewer diseases, excellent driving quality, slight rutting, and good pavement structural strength. However, the surface layer of some road sections was aging, the penetration index of aged asphalt at 25°C is lower than 20(0.1mm), which does not meet the recommended requirements of the criterion in China. In 2019, 3 sections of test projects were laid on the expressway, each section was 1 km, for confirming the feasibility of using hot-in-place recycling with asphalt penetration less than 20 (0.1mm) through physical engineering. Experimental results confirmed that Marshall stability, residual stability, dynamic stability and water seepage of the hot-in-place recycled mixture optimized by the recycled pavement material with a penetration of aged asphalt of 15 can meet the specification requirements, Pavement Condition Index (PCI), International Roughness Index (IRI), and Rut Depth (RD) of the test pavements are in good conditions.

The shipbuilding industry is an important basis for China’s strategy of becoming a marine power. Promoting the innovative development of the shipbuilding industry is important means for China to build a marine power. Based on the analysis of the mechanism of the innovation ecosystem of shipbuilding enterprises, this paper studies the level of the coordinated development of the coupling between the internal innovation and the external environment of shipbuilding enterprises, quantitatively measures the overall coupling coordination degree of the innovation ecosystem of shipbuilding enterprises, and analyzes the coordinated development of the innovation coupling of various shipbuilding enterprises. The innovation and development of shipbuilding enterprises not only depend on their own innovation investment, but also have an important relationship with the external environment of the enterprises, and then give relevant enlightenment from the enterprise itself and the government.

In the past, in geological exploration, marine development and offshore safety management, we have realized that the development and damage to the marine environment are very serious and important. While technology has improved rapidly over the years, the marine environment is changing faster than geological exploration, development and management. We must ensure the safety of hydrographic, meteorological conditions and sea wind weather forecasting. Due to the limitations of geological exploration techniques and methods, many problems are difficult to deal with or unpredictable when analyzing the factors that affect the management of the marine environment. Therefore, we need to solve these problems by some new means.

With the aging of the population in China in recent years, the number of stroke patients is increasing day by day. The sequelae of stroke-induced foot drop are expected to regain some mobility after timely rehabilitation, but if patients do not receive early intervention, they may miss the best rehabilitation period and lose the ability to walk and stand completely. The traditional means of rehabilitation treatment is manual rehabilitation by rehabilitation physicians, but with the increase in the number of patients with movement disorders, the number of rehabilitation physicians has become significantly insufficient. The use of rehabilitation robots to provide adjunctive therapy to patients has become a common and effective means of rehabilitation worldwide. The early rehabilitation robots could only drive the patient to do passive rehabilitation and could not reflect the patient’s true motor intentions. Since EMG signals on the surface of the human body can advance the onset of human movement, they can be used to identify the intention of human movement. This paper validates and explores the experiment based on the underlying data.

Based on the two methods of the index system and the scenario simulation, hazard assessment of urban waterlogging disaster on underground substations in Shanghai was carried out. The results show that: (1) the return period rainfall of underground substations in Shanghai gradually increases with the extension of the return period; in terms of spatial distribution, the return period precipitation of the stations along the river and within the inner ring is higher than that of the stations outside the inner ring. (2) The waterlogging thresholds of stations between the inner ring and the middle ring are highest. The waterlogging thresholds of stations within the inner ring and between the middle ring and the outer ring are higher than those in the suburban stations. (3) Under the 20-year return period extreme precipitation scenario, the urban waterlogging risks of underground substations in Shanghai are mainly at low and medium levels. Under the 50-year and longer return period extreme precipitation scenario, the risks of inner ring stations increase to medium-high level.

In this paper, it was studied that the effects of heating rate and four metal oxide on the combustion characteristics of excess sludge, such as CaO, Fe2O3, MgO and Al2O3, and the combustion kinetic parameters of sludge were obtained based on Coats-Redfern model. This result indicated that the ignition of sludge can be restricted with the increase of heating rate, but it was conducive to burnout, and the increasing about the flammability, stability and comprehensive combustion characteristic index of sludge. The addition of Fe2O3 and Al2O3 could improve the ignition performance of sludge to a certain extent, which was most obvious at the heating rate of 10 and 20 °C/min, respectively. Furthermore, the existence of Fe2O3, MgO and Al2O3 can improve the burnout performance of sludge, represented by MgO. Under the condition of low heating rate, the presence of Fe2O3 and MgO was beneficial to improve the comprehensive combustion characteristics of sludge. According to the distribution of combustion kinetics parameters, it was showed an increasing trend about the activation energy of sludge with the increase of heating rate at the range of 374.88-575.61 °C, which was also unfavorable to the combustion of fixed carbon. At the same heating rate, the activation energy decreased by adding Fe2O3 and Al2O3 at the range of 148.40-374.88 °C, which was beneficial to the release of volatiles and the combustion reaction, while the activation energy at the range of 374.88-575.61 °C decreased after adding CaO, which promoted the combustion of fixed carbon.

This paper proposes a post-evaluation index system and index hierarchy for utility model technologies and processes for maintenance based on domestic and international road maintenance post-evaluation studies, mainly evaluating it from five aspects of engineering technology, management technology, economic benefits, social environment, and sustainable development. The engineering technology is evaluated according to the implementation stage, and the corresponding comprehensive evaluation formula is established according to the maintenance classification, which can comprehensively analyze the implementation quality and effect of the maintenance measures. By establishing the life-cycle cost model, the economic benefit of conservation is evaluated from the two aspects of the cost of the management department and the user. Using energy consumption and carbon emission intensity index to analyze the stage of the conservation process can effectively evaluate the impact of conservation measures on the social environment. This study can provide a reference for the evaluation of new maintenance technologies and new processes, which has very important practical significance.

Understanding teachers’ beliefs is critical to improving educational practice. There is a significant need for research on foreign language teachers’ pedagogical beliefs, as these can exert an influence on students’ learning outcomes. This study draws on Kember’s (1997) theorization of teaching beliefs to explore the beliefs of Spanish language teachers regarding their pedagogy in Chinese universities. Twenty teachers from the Spanish departments in eight Chinese universities were recruited as participants, and a Q-methodology analysis with supplementary interview data identified three types of pedagogical beliefs: “integrated capacity-building”, “ELE learning outcome-focused”, and “social interaction-focused”. The findings suggest that ELE teachers in China no longer subscribe to the traditional teaching methodology which places themselves at the class center, and have instead progressed along a continuum from teacher-centeredness to student-centeredness. With a novel focus on Spanish teachers’ beliefs in Chinese universities, this study provides insights into the teaching of languages other than English (LOTEs) in China, and helps to expand the methodological repertoire in the field of linguistic research.

In this paper, a novel deashing method was proposed to prepare polypropylene (PP) materials with different ash contents (80 ~ 560 ppm). Effects of the ash on dielectric and energy storage characteristics of PP in polymer film capacitors were studied. The experimental results reveal that a low content of ash will help to improve the dielectric properties. Compared to the sample with 560 ppm of ash content, the PP film with 60 ppm ash possesses a lower DC conductivity (1.85×10-14 S/m). After the purification, the decline of the ash content in PP prevents the local electric field distortion and enhances the breakdown strength, which is beneficial for the improvement of the discharge energy density. Meanwhile, the reduction in the number of carriers ionized by the ash weakens the transport behavior and reduces the conductivity. It is concluded that the PP with high purity shows a great potential in polymer film capacitors.

Genetic algorithm is a classic intelligent bionic algorithm, which is evolved according to the genetic evolution process of organisms in nature, and has strong global optimization ability. Firstly, this paper expounds the basic principle of genetic algorithm, which comes from the viewpoint of “survival of the fittest and survival of the fittest” in Darwin’s theory of evolution, introduces the main characteristics of the algorithm, and summarizes the shortcomings of the algorithm. Based on the specific running steps of genetic algorithm, aiming at the shortcomings of genetic algorithm, an improved adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed. Finally, an example is used for simulation. The simulation results show that the improved algorithm has certain advantages.

An improved immune cloning algorithm based on clustering competition is proposed, which ensures the diversity of antibody population, effectively improves the convergence speed of the algorithm and avoids immature convergence. The algorithm is applied to packing problem and achieves good results.

Through a sampling survey of the results of the physical fitness test of the students of Guilin Institute of Aerospace Industry in 2018, using the analysis of variance research method, the five variable indicators of the physical fitness of the surveyed students were analyzed, and the changes in the physical fitness of the students during the three years of university were studied. The test results show that during college, the physical fitness of students has been increasing year by year, but the growth rate has been declining, and the difference in physical fitness is mainly due to the changes in their own high body mass index and vital capacity body mass index, and the endurance quality of students has not improved much. The analysis results show that the improvement of college students' physical fitness can be regarded as a recovery from poor physical fitness in high school. Therefore, there is still greater potential and room for improving the physical fitness of college students.

With the putting forward of cultural power and rural revitalization as China’s national strategies, rural construction under the conservation of traditional culture has become an important issue. In the design of contemporary vernacular architecture, more and more architects have realized the principle position of local community, and understanding its architectural preference has been an important task. Using both qualitative and quantitative research methods such as digital modeling, questionnaire and data mining, this paper takes a Naxi ethnic community as an example and investigates the community's architectural preference, analyzes and interprets its characteristics , and then puts forward corresponding strategies for the design of contemporary vernacular architecture in this area.

Forensic face recognition (FFR) has been studied in recent years in forensic science. Given an automatic face recognition system, output scores of the system are used to describe the similarity of face image pairs, but not suitable for forensics. In this study, a score-mapping model based on kernel density estimation (KDE) and evidence theory is proposed. First, KDE was used to generate probability density function (PDF) for each dimensional feature vector of face image pairs. Then, the PDFs could be utilized to determine separately the basic probability assignment (BPA) of supporting the prosecution hypothesis and the defence hypothesis. Finally, the BPAs of each feature were combined by Dempster’s rule to get the final BPA, which reflects the strength of evidence support. The experimental results demonstrate that compared with the classic KDE-based likelihood ratio method, the proposed method has a better performance in terms of accuracy, sensitivity and specificity.

This paper puts forward the concept of incentive utility, which converts the value of each attribute in multi-attribute decision-making into a unified index for measurement, thus simplifying multi-attribute decision-making. In this paper, a comprehensive evaluation model based on the TOPSIS of incentive utility is established. Through the establishment of incentive index, the utility of incentive and the calculation of ideal point of utility, the disadvantage of "ideal point is not ideal" in the TOPSIS is overcome. It can better synthesize the sub-attribute value and realize the subjective multi-attribute decision-making. The example shows that the model can apply subjective factors to decision-making scientifically, and the result is more reasonable and effective.

Kashgar City Circle is an important node of the new The Silk Road economic belt.Kashgar City Circle will serve as a new economic growth pole in the western region and will promote the rapid development of regional economy.The development of industry is an important driving force for regional economic development.This paper analyzes the four indicators of total output value, output value growth rate, employed population and labor productivity of the 18 industrial sectors of Kashgar City Circle from 2012 to 2016.Combined with the opportunities brought by the Silk Road economic belt background to the development of the Kashgar City Circle industry, this paper puts forward the current policy recommendations for the development of the Kashgar City Circle industry.

Because of the heavy workload and high failure rate of railway switch system (RSS), the traditional scheduled maintenance can not meet the actual operation needs of the railway. Therefore condition-based maintenance (CBM) and prognostic and health management(PHM), which have been mature in other fields should be introduced into RSS. Health assessment is of a great concern among all the technologies. This paper presents a novel method which can be utilized on the health status evaluation of RSS. First of all, RSS is briefly introduced and the connotation of PHM for RSS is analyzed. Secondly, health indicators (HIs) are extracted by different time domain features, and the best indicators are selected to establish the degradation model. By using clustering algorithm, the change point of state is detected which can be used as an instruction of advance maintenance. Finally, a ZYJ7 RSS is selected to test and verify the proposed method. Result indicates that the algorithm can be effectively applied to health assessment of RSS.

The permanent 3D-printed concrete envelope formwork can realize the personalized printing of special-shaped envelope structures efficiently with a high degree of automation and obvious advantages. This paper calculated the load-bearing characteristics of the 3D-printed concrete envelope formwork and analyzed the influence of steel supports on its load-bearing characteristics based on PFT. The study showed that the structure would have the highest bearing capacity when the position of steel support reinforcement was near the bisected point of the structure and close to the resultant point of the external load; steel support reinforcement could increase the bearing capacity of structures by nearly 5 times; compared with the single support, the double support could increase the same by nearly 3 times; and triple support reinforcement played a limited role in the improvement of the bearing capacity of structures.

Due to the acceleration of global energy transformation and the reduction of the cost of new energy, offshore wind power has been attached great importance by many countries. Therefore, offshore wind power transmission based on flexible HVDC transmission technology has become a hot issue in the development and research of offshore wind power. When the offshore platform is running for a long time, there may be extreme conditions of encountering earthquake. As the core component of flexible HVDC transmission, converter valve's structural safety research under earthquake is very necessary. Different from the onshore converter station and limited by the installation environment, the bottom support insulator of offshore converter valve tower may have initial displacement after being installed on the foundation plate of offshore platform. However, there is no literature on the effect of initial displacement on the dynamic characteristics and seismic performance of valve towers. In this paper, a practical engineering valve tower is taken as an example. Firstly, the influence of different initial displacements on the dynamic characteristics of valve tower is studied. Then, the dynamic analysis of valve tower under earthquake load is carried out by using time history integration algorithm. The influence of initial displacement on the structural safety of valve tower is studied by comparison method. The results of this paper can provide reference for similar projects.

Jujube planting in Xinjiang, China began in 1985, and then entered the rapid development stage of planting. By 2012, Xinjiang became the main jujube producing area in China. Due to its geographical advantage, jujube in Xinjiang, China is of high quality and has become another agricultural product with Chinese Xinjiang characteristics. However, jujube production in China has declined since 2013.Although China’s Xinjiang planting area is still expanding, the price of jujube has been affected by a significant decline, and has been maintained at a low level in recent years. Farmers’ income has decreased, and the bottleneck of jujube industry development has become prominent. Therefore, industrial transformation and upgrading is imminent. This paper combines in-depth analysis of jujube related data from 2007 to 2016, finds out the existing problems, and proposes the path for the transformation and upgrading of the jujube industry in Xinjiang, China. It aims to break through the bottleneck of jujube industry development and promote the healthy development of the industry.

As an ancient historical city, where the Grand Canal meets the Yangtze River, Zhenjiang has more than 100 modern industrial architectural heritages and its scientific protection and utilization has become an important subject in the development and historical renewal of Zhenjiang city. By investigating and analyzing the basic types of industrial architectural heritage in Zhenjiang, this paper discusses the digital protection strategies and puts forward several specific digital protection methods such as heritage information collection, database construction, interactive experience. To promote the industrial architectural heritage in Zhenjiang to produce comprehensive value in the course of social development.

Understanding the ignition mechanism of spontaneous combustion is critical for preventing it. In this work, the effects of different test conditions including oxygen concentration, heating rate, oxidation carrier gas flow rate, and sample amount on the ignition temperature were studied with a thermal gravimetric analyzer. Further, the effects of coal properties on the ignition temperature were also investigated using 15 different low-rank coals. A heterogenous ignition model was proposed that small amount of active species is the key material leading to ignition. The heterogenous ignition mechanism well explained the complex effects of test conditions and coal properties on the ignition temperature of low-rank coal. Finally, an empirical formula for predicting the ignition temperature was derived for the rapid assessment of the spontaneous combustion potential.

In view of the limitations of the existing prediction methods for ground subsidence of deep foundation pit, a BP neural network prediction model based on improved particle swarm optimization algorithm was proposed. The mutation and crossover of genetic algorithm are integrated into particle swarm optimization algorithm, which makes full use of the global characteristics of genetic algorithm and the fast convergence speed of particle swarm optimization algorithm. In order to reduce the network output error, improve the convergence speed and enhance the network generalization ability, the final value of the optimized particle iteration was selected as the connection weight and threshold of the BP neural network. The results show that the RMSE, MAPE and R2 of the improved PSO-BP model are 0.3077, 0.7506% and 0.8811, so the improved PSO-BP model has a better prediction accuracy.

Water has unsurpassed capabilities in fire extinguishing. However, water scarcity is rapidly increasing in many regions and water shortage problems have led to find either new water resources or improve seawater treatment technologies. In this study, a new environment-friendly and high-efficiency powdered fire extinguishing agent with a core-shell structure is designed. The designed extinguishing agent is a colloidal powder with a 92% liquid content and is prepared through physical modification and high-speed shearing. Fumed silica is used for the external shell due to its chemical inertness, whereas seawater is used as the core due to its high extinguishing efficiency. Results show that the size of the prepared agent ranged between 100–200μm. The two fire extinguishing experiments of different scales demonstrate that the employing inorganic salts with seawater as the core can significantly increase the efficiency of the new powder in extinguishing gasoline and diesel fire compared with ultrafine and common ABC dry powders. The suppression mechanism of action is caused by the combined flame chemical and pyrolysis theories of the potassium compounds. This study would be of great theoretical significance and application value for improving the application scope of the seawater.

In this experimental study, a new lipase named Lip 906 was screened out from a metagenomic library in the laboratory. To improve the stability of the enzyme and develop and apply it as soon as possible, we adopted directed evolution and immobilization methods. A random mutation library was constructed by error-prone PCR and finally, a mutant lipase Lip 5-D with increased enzyme activity was screened out and immobilized. The activity of the mutant enzyme Lip 5-D was improved by 4 times compared with the wild-type lipase Lip 906. The optimal reaction temperature rose by 4 °C, and by 3 °C after immobilization. The optimal reaction pH increased from 7.8 to 7.5. Both temperature stability and pH stability were improved. The mutant enzyme Lip 5-D can maintain about 70% of the relative activity after incubation at 65 °C for 2 h, and it can keep 60% at pH 3-10. Error-prone PCR and immobilization improve the catalytic activity and stability of the enzyme, and promote its development and application in many industries.

Since the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative was put forward in 2013, the industrial structure of Xinjiang has become increasingly rationalized, and Xinjiang’s economic development has entered a stage of rapid development. Based on the Solow residual value method, this paper uses the gray correlation model to estimate the elastic coefficient of capital and labor input and calculates the contribution rate of technological progress in 25 industrial sectors in Xinjiang. The research results show that more than 50% of the industrial sector in Xinjiang contributes more than 50% to technological progress, and Xinjiang’s economy has entered a period of intensive rapid development.

Objective: To explore the potential targets and underlying mechanism of Rubi Fructus in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: Potential active components of Rubi Fructus were proposed by literature search and as well followed the Lipinski’s Rule of Five. The therapeutic targets of potential active components and T2DM-related genes were selected through Swiss target prediction and Gene Cards. The network of potential active components and T2DM-related targets were constructed by Cytoscape 3.7.2, and STRING analysis was performed to reveal the interaction among target proteins and to build the network of protein-protein interaction. Both Gene ontology (GO) and Kyoto encyclopedia of genes and genomes (KEGG) enrichment analysis of core targets were performed using David database. Results: Totally, 68 potential active components of Rubi Fructus and 196 T2DM-related targets were found. Among them, 39 key targets were obtained by network analysis, which were primarily enriched on PI3K-Akt, HIF-1, TNF, Toll-like receptor, and Focal adhesion signaling pathways. Conclusion: For the treatment of T2DM, the active compounts of Rubi Fructus can regulate the expression of proinflammatory and oxidative stress mediators and improving insulin resistance through multiple components, targets, and pathways, which offers a scientific support to further Rubi Fructus studies and to the research on T2DM treatment.

Aiming at the problems of low utilization rate and serious environmental pollution caused by low concentration coal bed methane emission in a coal mine, the utilization technology of low concentration coal bed methane was studied by means of field investigation and theoretical calculation, and the technical solution of comprehensive utilization of low concentration coal bed methane combining regenerative oxidation and cryogenic liquefaction was obtained, which realized the “coal and gas are co-mined and shared” and constructed the virtuous cycle development of “use to promote pumping, pumping to promote safety”. The research shows that: the low concentration coal bed methane with concentration of about 5% is converted into high temperature flue gas by regenerative oxidation, and the heat energy is extracted to realize the heating in the mining area; the coal bed methane with concentration of more than 35% is purified and liquefied into LNG product by cryogenic liquefaction, so as to realize long-distance transportation. The technology improves the utilization rate of coal bed methane in the mining area and eliminates the burning of coal for heating. The annual utilization of pure gas is 53.38 million m3, generating economic benefits of 211 million yuan and reducing CO2 equivalent by 767,000 t. The safety, economic and environmental benefits are remarkable. This technology has practical significance to improve the utilization rate of gas and promote the realization of the goal of zero gas emission.

In view of the feature of long airflow path, high wind resistance, and large area of refrigeration equipment in traditional data room, a new type of under-floor modular air conditioner and its corresponding new air conditioning solution for data room is proposed in this paper. The mathematical and physical model of the new solution for data room is established through a computational fluid simulation software and compared with two mainstream air conditioning solutions. Meanwhile, the impact of these three different air conditioning solutions on the temperature field, airflow field and energy consumption are analysed. The results show that the new type air conditioning solution for data room not only can be used to improve the distribution of temperature and airflow in the data room, but also can greatly reduce the energy consumption of the system.

In the development process of a certain CHINA VI proprietary brand car model, there exists the problem of intermittent “dada” sound in the cockpit during idling. After investigation, it’s determined that the air pulse noise generated when the canister purge solenoid valve is working, it is transmitted to the car panels through the pipeline, and then to the cockpit, which would cause a “dada” sound. By adding expansion chamber in the desorption pipe and designing part of the pipeline which fixed in the clamp as rubber pipe, the intensity of air pulse can be effectively reduced and the transmission path of air pulse vibration can be blocked. Through objective testing and subjective evaluation, the scheme can greatly reduce the idle noise of the cockpit, thus improving the NVH performance of the vehicle and bringing comfortable riding environment to the passengers.

With the increase of English teaching courses, the specific vocal characteristics of teachers in English teaching are studied and used as the basic data for the design of teachers’ spatial acoustics. In order to study this problem, three different English voice materials were read in a anechoic room under three sound intensity levels: large, medium and small, respectively, so as to analyse the equivalent continuous sound pressure level (SPL) and frequency characteristic curves of male and female teachers at 0.3m. In the low frequency band, the SPL increases as the frequency increases. In the mid-frequency band, the SPL reaches the first peak, then decreases briefly as the frequency increases, then increases again to the second peak, and then decreases again briefly as the frequency increases. Then increase again to the third peak. In the high frequency band, the SPL decreases as the frequency increases.

With the increasing demand for polymers, white pollution has become a serious concern all around the world. The admirable degradation methods of them are desirable for overcoming this problem. In the past several decades, numerous researches on polymer degradation have been reported. This review commits to different degradation strategies of polymers and four main degradation protocols firstly, including photodegradation, oxidative degradation, catalytic degradation, and biodegradation, are demonstrated in detail. Secondly, some specific samples are discussed for each kind of degradation. Finally, the outlook and future of polymer degradation are proposed. In particular, the comprehensive comparison of different degradation methods is covered to provide the best choice for dealing with different polymers wastes. These will be beneficial to the development of processing plastic and conversion of polymer wastes.

The mechanochemical method is a potential way to destroy pollutants such as heavy metals and organic compounds due to its advantages such as complete reaction, adaptation of various pollutants and low energy consumption, etc. Research work was conducted to investigate the feasibility of remediating the persistent organic pollutants (POPs) contaminated soil and how the parameters influence the destruction of the pollutants. In the study, hexachlorobenzene (HCB) was used as a presentative of the POPs in soil. Natural minerals such as albite and magnetite were selected as additives to treat HCB contaminated soil with the application of mechanochemical method. The reasonable operation parameters as well as the soil properties on the destruction of HCB were determined. Analysis such as Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) and Raman Spectrometer were conducted for the supplement of mechanism study. A degradation rate of 92.5% for HCB was achieved under the optimal reaction condition. According to the XPS analysis results, the transformed valence state of iron, provided electrons for the destruction of HCB, on the basis of specific structure of albite. The amorphous carbon and graphite carbon were the final products of the destruction of HCB in the process of ball milling. The selected reagents with albite and magnetite would be viable for the damage of other POPs by mechanochemical method.

In wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, wireless transmission of signals is particularly important for some practical applications. An effective approach of signal and energy synchronous transmission based on time-sharing multiplexing of the same coupled coil is proposed in this paper. Using the same coupled coil, the signal transmission is carried on when interruption of power transmission happens. To realize the proposed method, the relationship between power transmission time and signal transmission time is provided to obtain the optimal transmission process of the power and signal. Besides, the power transmission efficiency (PTE) and the signal transmission rate (STR) are analyzed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the experiment.
