By interpreting the aesthetic theory of atmosphere founded by Gernot Boehmer as a background and introducing the theoretical characteristics of dimension and element and emotional tendency, in order to solve the problem of atmosphere as a potential holistic characteristic of space, the design of the Kraus Brothers’ Mountain Chapel in the work of architect Peter Pawnham is used as an example to study the co-location of interior modeling and decoration with material texture and the penetration of spatial environment and light and shadow perception, providing a new perspective for the innovation of interior space decoration design of modern architecture.

Thermal performance is considered to be a key measure in building sustainability. One of the technologies used in the current building sustainable design is the high thermal mass techniques. The application of this type of technology is widely used in traditional architecture. The paper aims at studying the effect of both high thermal insulation and high thermal mass techniques in buildings dynamic behaviour in Dry-Hot and Dry-Cold Climate. The two techniques can lead to conflicting requirements when considering winter and summer conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to identify insulation measures that conserve the mass dynamic behavior. Experimental investigations were carried out on a single - family house to characterize the behavior of one room with high thermal mass in different seasons. Thermal simulations made it possible to explore different retrofit configurations. Different thermal mass and thermal insulation were compared on internal surface temperature. The analysis shows that the most suitable intervention is both high thermal insulation and high thermal mass techniques, and the decrease of the absorption coefficient of the outer surface is beneficial to improve the overall level of solar radiation.

With the development of materials and technology, new composite materials which can meet the requirement of new technology are produced, especially in some harsh conditions where traditional materials cannot meet the needs. In this paper, a new type of syntactic foam pressure part is studied, simulate and calculate the impact of load stress and breaking type by finite element analyze. The results of experiment are same as the calculation. A method is established in this paper to provide a reference and research ideas for the similar products.

In the conventional single-echo three dimension (3D) time-of-flight (TOF) magnetic resonance angiography (MRA), it always takes long scan time to obtain the good images. In addition, high-resolution MRA with flow compensation requires long echo time (TE). Here, a reverse elliptical centric dual-echo 3D TOF MRA pulse sequence was developed to reduce the scan time and minimize the effective TE. Dual-echo and reverse elliptical centric acquisition in the phase encoding and slice phase encoding direction were used to reduce the scan time by 61%. Furthermore, the effective echo time (TE) was also minimized from 4.8ms to 4.1ms. The developed pulse sequence was tested on clinical MRI systems and the contrast to noise ratio (CNR) was measured to evaluate the results. The results show that the CNR only decrease by 2.5% with the scan time reduced to 39% when compared with the conventional single-echo 3D TOF. Compared with the conventional dual-echo 3D TOF acquisition, the developed pulse sequence brings advantages in three aspects: (1) reduce scan time by 22%; (2) increase CNR by 10%; (3) reduce the artifacts induced by dual-echo effects. In addition, while keeping the similar scan time as the conventional single-echo 3D TOF acquisition, the results show that reverse elliptical centric dual-echo 3D TOF acquisition increase CNR by 54.3%.
