Abstract

The article presents the summary of the strategy seminar of the Vereinigung Österreichischer Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare (VÖB), an Austrian library association, that focused on the future of the association. It was held from May 17-18, 2011 in Anthering bei Salzburg, Austria. Topics under discussion at the conference included the integration of younger members into the VÖB, the public book stores in Austria, and the development of internet publishing platforms.
