- Abstract
Ioana M. Padure & Sanja Šimić present the morphology of the pollen of the Istrian endemic orchid Ophrys istriensis, just described in 2016, by electron microscopy photos.-30 collaborators have revised 1008 specimens (+ 1444 duplicates) from the "Herbarium Istriacum" (KL) and 628 specimens from other, 6 public herbaria (GJO, GZU, IBF, KL, W, WHB) und 3 private herbaria (Herb. F. Essl, A-Wien; Herb. P. Pilsl, ASalzburg; Herb. H. Zwander, A-Köttmannsdorf). The duplicates from the "Herbarium Istriacum" are distributed to 28 public institutions (B, BKF, CL, CLF, GJO, GZU, IBF, JACA, KL, LE, LG, LI, LJU, M, MA, MBM, NHMR, OSC, PE, R, TK, TSB, UBC, US, W, WU, WHB, ZA) and to 3 private herbaria (Herb. G. Gottschlich, D-Tübingen; Herb. J.-P. Reduron, F-Mülhausen; Herb. I. Uhlemann, D-Liebenau bei Dresden). Following new taxa for Istria are published here for the first time: Erigeron karvinskianus (also new for Slovenia!) and Eryngium amethystinum var. tenuifolium (also new for Croatia!).-Sorbus istriaca is new for Italy.-Sarcocornia perennis is new for Slovenia.-Atropa belladonna, Hedera colchica, Helichrysum stoechas subsp. stoechas, Inula salicina subsp. salicina, Juncus conglomeratus, Lonicera japonica, Papaver somniferum var. nigrum, Rubus canescens × R. ulmifolius, Solanum pseudocapsicum, Solanum tuberosum and Veronica catenata are new for the island of Krk.-Anagallis ×doerfleri, Bothriochloa ischaemum, Catapodium rigidum subsp. rigidum, Crithmum maritimum and Eryngium amethystinum are new for the island of Prvić.-Euphorbia prostrata, Muhlenbergia schreberi, Ononis spinosa subsp. spinosa, Orobanche pubescens, Passiflora caerulea, Plantago lanceolata var. dubia, Plantago maritima, Trifolium micranthum and Vicia pseudocracca are new for the island of Cres.-Euphorbia prostrata is new for the island of Susak.-Chrysopogon gryllus, Melica ciliata subsp. magnolii, Rhamnus alaterna subsp. alaterna and Torilis africana var. africana are new for the island of Ilovik. The distribution of all known taxa of Orchidaceae in Istria is shown in 143 area maps.-In obituaries we remember and say thank you to 6 collaborators of the Flora of Istria project, which have passed away.-106 new literature data are added to the publication list of the flora of Istria.
