This study aims to see whether or not the reality approach group counseling service is effective in improving the self-resilience of broken home students at SMK Kosgoro 2 Payakumbuh. This study used a true experimental design, namely the pretest-posttets control group design in which the population was 60 people and the research sample was 22 people. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used is non-parametric statistics with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results of the study were related to the reality approach group counseling in improving the self- resilience of broken home students, so the statistical test results from the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test showed that W_count ≥ Wtable (66 ≥11) with Z = -2.93 and from the statistical results theasymptotic sig value (2-tailed) 0.003. Because for the 2-way test of 0.05, sig 0.003 ≤ 0.05 with Z = -2.93. These data indicate that the reality approach group counseling approach is effective in improving the self-resilience of broken home student.

The house is the bedrock of any society. Risky domestic therefore results in risky society. Divorce in marriages and the consequent impact, a part of which might be anger, inferiority complex, mistrust, stigmatization, discrimination, emotional overload, loneliness, guilt, depression and so forth, are most of the maximum urgent problems going through human society nowadays. However, as painful as this reality is, this situation absolute confidence requires the attention of professional counsellors. This paper therefore evaluations the psycho-social demanding situations confronting divorcees and the counselling approach for handling it. In so doing, efforts are geared closer to highlighting the idea of reality remedy and its applications in coping with the psycho-social challenges confronting divorcees in Nigeria.

IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING TEACHERS THROUGH REALITY THEORY SKILLS. The importance of an effective quality counselor is the whole person of the counselor. This is indicated by the ability of the counselor’s performance through the approach or theory of guidance and counseling. It aims to improve the quality of the counselor’s performance through the reality therapy that can bring the full direction of the counselor's personality. Reality therapy directs the counselor’s personality to be responsibility, honest (reality), sincere (right) to facilitate counselors in conducting guidance and counseling services. The embodiment of this is carried out through community service activities. The method of activity used is an online workshop (webinar) with steps, the first is the initial step (observation), the planning stage, the socialization stage, and the ongoing evaluation stage of the program. The community service activities were attended by 255 participants. The results obtained in community service activities are that 55% have clear abilities, 43% have sufficient abilities, and 2% have less abilities. Thus, the form of contribution to the science of guidance and counseling and education is expected to be implemented (reality therapy) together with stakeholders in order to achieve optimal and comprehensive success.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran self-help book (buku bantuan diri) mengenai cara mengatasi konflik dengan orang tua dalam perspektif terapi realitas yang ditujukan kepada kelas X dan XI jurusan IPS di SMA Suluh Jakarta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Tahapan model pengembangan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis, desain, dan pengembangan. Evaluasi formatif dilakukan oleh validator ahli media, ahli materi, da peserta didik. Berdasarkan data tersebut menunjukkan hasil evaluasi validitas ahli media 82,9% (baik), validitas ahli materi 88,6% (sangat baik), dan peserta didik 91% (sangat baik). Hasil penelitian adalah sebuah buku yang berisi tahapan penyelesaian konflik dengan orang tua menggunakan sistem WDEP pada perspektif terapi realitas. Abstract This study aims to produce an instructional book about steps to resolve conflict with parents for 10th and 11th grader of Suluh High School Jakarta. The research method used is the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate) model. The stages of the development model in this research are in analysis, design, and development. Formative evaluations had been done by a media expert validation evaluation 82,9% (good), validity of material experts 88,8% (very good), and students 91% (very good). The results of the study are a book that contains stages of resolving conflicts with parents using the WDEP system in the perspective of reality therapy. Abstract: This research and development aims to produce a cybercounseling reality website and a reality cybercounseling guidebook to improve self-disclosure for Vocational High School students which are grateful theoretically and practically. The research and development study steps are: preliminary study, product development, and product test. Product’s guidelines are tested using one group pretest-posttest design. Product test results show that cybercounseling reality website is gratefully theoretically and practically and also effectively to improve Vocational High School students’ self-disclosure. Abstrak: Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan menghasilkan website dan panduan cybercounseling realita untuk meningkatkan keterbukaan diri siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang berterima secara teoretis dan praktis. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan dengan langkah: studi pendahuluan, pengembangan produk, dan uji produk. Panduan penggunaan produk diuji menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design. Hasil uji produk menunjukkan bahwa website cybercounseling realita berterima secara teoretis dan praktis serta efektif untuk meningkatkan keterbukaan diri siswa SMK. Abstract The emotional development of students in early teens showed a sensitive and recreative nature (critical), emotions are often negative and temperamental. This negative passion is evidenced by the findings in the field of Indonesian teenagers, such as Tawuran, promiscuity, students who dare to do nasty with school friends (Tirto, 2013). Many factors are the cause, one of which is still the weak character of academic responsibility that students have. This problem becomes a serious problem in the world of education Indonesia. Therefore, it is natural for educational practitioners to take solutive steps to overcome the problem. One education practitioner who has a strategic position to handle the case is Counselor. Counselors are deemed able to provide practical solutions through Reality Group Counseling services by integrating spiritual values (Islam) to foster student academic responsibilities. Reality group counseling emphasizes the growth of personal responsibility. This advice is also in line with Islamic values that encourage individuals always to be responsible for every action as reflected in the QS. Al Muddassir: 38).
