This research aims to empirically test the influence of corporate social responsibility, capital intensity, and executive compensation on tax avoidance in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. This research was conducted using associative quantitative methods. The research population was 54 companies, and a sample of 18 companies was taken using purposive sampling. The research was conducted at consumer goods sector companies on the IDX for 2016-2020. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. Data was collected with the 2016-2020 annual report and analyzed with SPSS version 26. Tax avoidance in this research uses the Effective Tax Ratio (ETR) measurement. The results of hypothesis testing using t statistics show that corporate social responsibility affects tax avoidance. In contrast, capital intensity does not affect tax avoidance, and executive compensation affects tax avoidance. The test results show that corporate social responsibility, capital intensity, and executive compensation affect tax avoidance in manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020.

This research expected to understand the effect of corporate risk as measured by the standard deviation of EBITDA divided by total assets, executive compensation, executive characteristics as proxied by age and executive education and government share ownership on tax avoidance (ETR). The research sample of state-owned enterprises found on the official website bumn.go.id, was selected using the purposive sampling method, and 31 state-owned enterprises were obtained as observation data that met the sample criteria. The analysis to examine the effect of each independent variable on the dependent uses Multiple Regression. The results of the study state that corporate risk has a significant influence on tax avoidance, however, the results of this research are different when the researcher tries to exclude state-owned companies that are subject to final income tax from the research sample. From the results of this study, it was found that corporate risk has no effect on tax avoidance. executive compensation, executive characteristics of government share ownership have no effect on tax avoidance. Further research can use financial ratios, company age or other proxies that may affect tax avoidance. In addition, future researchers are expected to use private companies as a comparison of tax avoidance practices.

Abstract The purposes of this study are as follows: (1) to determine whether executive compensation policies influenced by corporate governance practices, (2) to determine whether executive compensation policy are influenced by the size, growth and performance. This research have done in 2014 with the observation period from 2009 to 2011. The methods of collecting data in this research through the observations of the financial statements of companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange. This study used inferential statistical methods in analyzing the data that is processed by regression analysis. The results showed performance and size have the positive effect significantly on the executive compensation. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: (1) menentukan apakah kebijakan kompensasi eksekutif dipengaruhi oleh corporate governance (2) untuk menentukan apakah kebijakan kompensasi eksekutif dipengaruhi oleh ukuran, pertumbuhan dan kinerja. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada tahun 2014 dengan periode pengamatan dari tahun 2009 sampai 2011. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui pengamatan terhadap laporan keuangan perusahaan yang tercatat di Bursa Efek Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistik inferensial dalam menganalisis data yang diolah dengan analisis regresi. Hasilnya menunjukkan kinerja dan ukuran memiliki efek positif secara signifikan terhadap kompensasi eksekutif.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of ownership structure and audit committee's size to the disclosure of executive management compensation in the Financial Statement. The research 's samples are 125 manufacturing companies that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012. The results of this research show that managerial ownership and audit committee's size does not have a significant effect to the disclosure of executive management compensation in the Financial Statements. Besides that, institutional ownership has a negative significant effect to the disclosure of executive management compensation in the Financial Statements.
