The Rohingya ethnic group in Myanmar has experienced systematic discrimination and marginalization since 1962, culminating in denial of citizenship and restrictions on access to basic services. The governments of Myanmar and Bangladesh have both refused to recognise the Rohingya as citizens, leaving them in a stateless state. The escalating ethnic conflict, especially after Myanmar's military offensive in 2017, forced hundreds of thousands of Rohingya to flee to Bangladesh and other countries. Reports from the UN and human rights organizations indicate ethnic cleansing, including killing, rape and torture of the Rohingya. Despite international pressure, Myanmar's government, including leader Aung San Suu Kyi, denies any repression. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) is acting as an initiator and mediator in diplomatic efforts to resolve this conflict, but major challenges remain in creating sustainable and equitable solutions for the Rohingya. This study aims to examine the role of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the Rohingya conflict in Myanmar in 2016 – 2017. In this study, the concepts of international organizations and human security are used in analyzing the role of the OIC in resolving the conflict. This study uses qualitative methods and descriptive research types. This study concludes that there are four roles of the OIC, the first and second as initiators and mediators, where most of the OIC's role here is to hold meetings with OIC members to provide assistance to Rohingya refugees. The third is humanitarian, providing assistance for the human rights of the Rohingya, and the fourth is the facilitator, where the OIC, other international organizations, and OIC member countries work together to provide basic assistance and facilities such as education and health to the Rohingya [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Children are a trust given by God to parents. So that parents have an obligation in children's education. The purpose of this research is to describe the roles and responsibilities of parents towards their children's education in an Islamic perspective. In this paper used the research method of literature review (library research). Primary and secondary data sources come from literature in the form of books and journal articles, data analysis uses content analysis. The results of the study show that parents in their role as educators for their children are role models for children. So that the role of parents is very necessary in children's education, parents are the first teachers for children. The big responsibility of parents in the family is not only to provide for their children, but what is more important in the Islamic view is to provide education for their children.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of the International Tour de Banyuwangi Ijen (ITdBI) championship in increasing tourist visits to the Banyuwangi Ijen Crater destination. Respondents amounted to 100 tourists, including 80 domestic tourists and 20 foreign tourists. This study uses quota sampling. The data was processed using crosstabulation analysis and chi-square test, then continued with logistic regression. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The limitations of the research are the number of respondents and the willingness of respondents to fill out the questionnaire. The results showed that the role of sports championships analyzed on indicators of information, level of satisfaction, visiting enthusiasm, and recommendations contributed 75.9% to the increase in the number of tourists. Thus, the role of these major sporting events for tourists is as a medium of information, travel satisfaction, enthusiasm for repeated visits, and the willingness of tourists to recommend potential visitors. Future research is expected to include other factors involved in increasing tourist visits, especially tourists with sports motivation. The implementation of the next model and strategy is how to develop sustainable sports tourism in the Ijen crater tourist destination adapted to the concept of sustainable tourism development by considering environmental, socio-cultural and economic aspects.

Turats Ulama Nusantara groups are a forum for the dissemination of knowledge and the search for various studies related to Islam in the archipelago which several students pioneered. This group has an impact and color on Islamic studies. It is a pioneer in opening studies that have not been widely revealed, such as the role of Indonesian clerics in providing color for knowledge in the Arabian peninsula and many other things related to Islam in Indonesia. This article aims to look at the role of the archipelago's ulama turats who are the forum for the formation of counter-radicalism in Indonesia. This article is the result of research using qualitative research methods, based on the data and discourses that were studied in the group to be analyzed as an indication of the function of the Turats Ulama Nusantara group to function in counter-radicalism. The results of this article show the role of the Turats Ulama Nusantara group in opening discourse and knowledge that makes counter-radicalism in Indonesia.

Tourism is very necessary to continue to be developed to improve the economy in Indonesia and increase the position of the country geographically, which is very strategic for tourism and the world economy. For this reason, the ability to communicate in English is absolutely necessary, in order to compete with workers from other countries, so that they can contribute to the improvement of the national economy. The ability to communicate in English is a strategic sector in the development of highly competitive human resources in the tourism industry sector and in the global economic community. By having good English communication skills, it will be easier to grab market share in the tourism industry sector and the economic sector. The tourism sector as one of the prime industrial development is developed in order to further increase the rate of national development. For this reason, it is necessary that the government continues to increase its resilience, policies, and increase the development of tourism with a view to further developing the community's economy and increasing the ability to speak English so that human resources are able to compete in various tourism industries so that the economy will increase.

Pesantren is an original Indonesian education based on Islamic values and a moral fortress. Pesantren is a base to protect people from various kinds of moral damage that impact the quality of the nation's future. This study aims to describe the role and responsibility of Pesantren in facing moral degradation in Pesantren Al-Hadi Ciruas Serang Banten. This qualitative case study research was conducted over two months using data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used triangulation techniques. Data analysis collects, reduces, presents, and verifies data. This study found that the Al-Hadi Islamic Boarding School implements character education by practicing the values that form the character of a modern Islamic boarding school and then implementing it in the learning process, forming Islamic boarding school culture, co-curricular activities, and extracurricular activities. Integrally the whole process of education and learning in Islamic boarding schools forms a distinctive culture of Islamic boarding schools that distinguishes it from the education system outside Islamic boarding schools. The values developed are (1) sincerity; (2) simplicity; (3) independence; (4) brotherhood based on religious spirit and care for the environment. The values that shape the character of modern Islamic boarding schools are then implemented in the learning process, the formation of Islamic boarding schools culture, and co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The Aceh peace achieved in 2005 has become an example for the international community in resolving conflicts using a dialogue approach. Of course, it cannot be separated from the role and ideas of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono as the president of the Republic of Indonesia at that time. This article aims to describe SBY's role and ideas in Aceh's conflict resolution context. The data in this study are sourced from relevant literature studies and analyzed with a qualitative approach. This study shows that several basic things are important points in the context of SBY's role and ideas in pursuing peace in Aceh. First, peace efforts are based on sincerity and political commitment to end the conflict. Second, the ability to see difficulties during a tsunami becomes an opportunity for peace. Third, the choice of a non-militaristic approach and relying on dialogue. Fourth, courage in taking risks and realizing measurable policies in pursuing peace in Aceh. Apart from that, the commitment to peace from the government and GAM is an important point in the realization of peace in Aceh because the commitment to peace by complying with the points of the agreement has been agreed upon and makes peace continue. Abstrak Perdamaian Aceh yang berhasil diraih pada tahun 2005 telah menjadi contoh bagi dunia internasional tentang bagaimana menyelesaikan konflik bersenjata dengan pendekatan dialog. Hal ini tentunya tidak terlepas dari peran dan gagasan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono yang kala itu menjadi presiden Republik Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan lebih lanjut tentang peran dan gagasan SBY dalam konteks resolusi konflik di Aceh Data dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari kajian-kajian literatur yang relevan. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa hal mendasar yang menjadi poin penting dalam konteks peran dan gagasan SBY dalam mengupayakan perdamaian Aceh. Pertama, upaya perdamaian yang di dasarkan pada kesungguhan dan komitmen politik untuk benar-benar mengakhiri konflik. Kedua, kemampuan dalam melihat kesulitan di tengah tsunami menjadi peluang untuk berdamai. Ketiga, pilihan pendekatan non militeristik dan bertumpu pada dialog. Keempat, keberanian dalam mengambil risiko dan realisasi kebijakan yang terukur dalam mengupayakan perdamaian di Aceh. Terlepas pada itu, komitmen perdamaian dari pemerintah dan GAM menjadi poin penting dari realisasi perdamaian Aceh, karena komitmen damai dengan cara mematuhi poin-poin perjanjian yang telah disepakati membuat perdamaian dapat terus bertahan.

The purpose of the study was to examine the relationship between emotional role adjustment and marital satisfaction of married working couples in Mbaitoli local Government area of Imo State. One hypothesis was formulated to guide the study. The research design adopted was the Correlation research design. Sample of 170 married couples selected from a population of 1700 couples was used for the study. Marital Role Expectation Inventory (MREI) was employed for data collection. The instrument has a reliability coefficient of .84 with split-half method. Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) was employed to analyze the data generated. Based on the finding, it was recommended among others that for the spouses to enjoy satisfaction in their relationship, there should be appreciation and positive feedback between them

This study aims to explore the role of local institutions in the establishment of preparedness habitus and the development of disaster mitigation in Mount Kelud area of Kediri Regency using the structural-constructivist approach of Pierre Bourdieu. This research is qualitative research in nature so that the data collection is conducted by participant observation, document tracking, and in-depth interview. The results showed that local institutions that play a role in the formation of disaster prepared habitus and mitigation development in the Mount Kelud area are formal institutions e.g. BPBD of Kediri, District and Village, and informal institutions namely the Jangkar Kelud Community and the Village Disaster Preparedness Team. The research also found that collaborative roles between leaders and local leaders have contributed greatly to the formation of disaster preparedness habitus for residents of Mount Kelud Slopes. This evident showed when residents of Mount Kelud were able to evacuate and rescue independently and could minimize casualties and adapt to the current situation when Mount Kelud erupted in 2014. In the formation of preparedness habitus and disaster mitigation leaders and local leaders use the knowledge and local wisdom as capital value to develop the attitude of life "Harmony with Mount Kelud", and the principle of life 'Sitik Edang ". For local residents, Mount Kelud is a part of their daily life that cannot be separated socio-culturally. The existence of the Suro Ox Myth and the Larung Sesaji Kelud cultural practice are some collective memories that can be used as cultural mitigation for the community in disaster management.

Algebra is found in many daily activities, such as buying and selling, Mawaris knowledge, and so on. al- Khawarizmi is also an inventor of zeros and the originator of the concept of algorithms. In addition, this paper will discuss the contribution of scientist Ibn al- Haytham to the concept of absolute value, al- Biruni towards the concept of "The Broken Chord" theorem, al- Khayyami on the concept of geometry. The mathematical concepts found by scientists are what we use a lot today to solve problems used in everyday life.

This paper aims to elaborate the extent of women's role working in the informal sector at marine tourism area in Batu Gong Beach of Konawe District. This research is a qualitative research using case study approach. The data was collected using in-depth interviews, Focus Group Discussion, and observation. Interviews were conducted on 15 women who had been married and have children, who worked as rice sellers, gogos, burasa, sate pokea, beverages, cakes, candies, cigarettes, tire rentals for swimming equipment, rental mats for seat, etc. The results indicate that the role of women who work and have income play significant role to support the family finance. The income earned from selling is used to meet the needs of household life such as: as the complementary of the husband and family income; for daily shopping needs; for school’s fee and children’s expenses; and for other important needs such as when it comes to crises, severe illness, and other family problems. This study is expected to be useful for scientific development in the theme of the role of women who work in creating a prosperous family.

Humans are given the power to eat from the kinds of animals and plants. But in reality, the universe continues to be damaged, both in the ocean and on the land. Then it affects the declining quality and quantity of the creatures that live on it. Da’i is a person who has the duty to preach and spread the teachings of Islam to all mankind. Da’wah submitted or spread in da’i should touch every line of human cases, including in it is the duty of every human being to maintain, care for and create a beautiful universe. The advantages and opportunities that da’I has to be optimized, especially with regard to efforts to maintain the beauty and harmony of the universe. The duties of da’i are not limited to delivering matters concerning worship of mahdhoh alone, but da’I also must convey about the obligation to maintain and care for the universe and maintain its balance. Da’I must also be a pioneer of the maintenance of the universe, at least da’I should pioneer in caring and maintaining the environment of the mosque, because the mosque is the house of the Muslim ummah, both for the implementation of Fardhu Prayer, as well as a means of musyawarah and gathering of the Muslims.

Political parties are organized groups and their members have an orientation, values of the same ideals. The aim is to gain political power and to seize political positions, usually by constitutional means to implement their policies. Thus it can be said that political parties are one of the core instructions and modern democracy. Modern democracy relies on a system called representation (repressentif), whether the representation of formal state institutions such as parliament (DPRD / DPR) and representation of community aspirations in party instructions. Political parties function to seek and teach talented persons to actively participate in political activities as party members thus participate in politics. This is an important role in political parties to provide political education for the community.

Participation can be individual or collective, organized or spontaneous, peaceful or violent, legal or illegal, effective or ineffective. The theory used in this research is by using the concept of rational choice of James Coleman. The purpose of this research is to describe the existence of a career woman in the family. These results indicate that the existence of career women in the public sphere in the family recognized for their collective agreement concluded between career women with families. Mainly deal agreed with her husband and children. But the deal does not diminish the responsibility of working women in the domestic sphere. Tahura as a conservation area has many benefits, functions, and impacts. This creates many interests and influences from various parties to Tahura Djuanda, so that the management of conservation in Tahura Djuanda needs to be managed together. The family is home education or soialisasi first and foremost is also a basic foundation for the child. Then it is appropriate that parents build communication with her children, because with good communication will affect child development optimally. The purpose of this research is to know the child's learning and motivation to learn the role of family communication against child learning motivation in the Keruak Sub-district Keruak. In this study, researchers used a purposive sampling. As for the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative approach with qualitative and data collection techniques through observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study showed that the level of motivation of a child to learn is still very low. This has resulted in many children only credentials that school, but children do not get a science at all. Low motivation of children in the study because (1) the socio-cultural Factors (2) Factors (3) Economic factors of parent education (4) environmental factors. So to resolve problems that occur in children's learning motivation are low, it is the role of parents is required in order to be able to communicate well with her children including through the involvement of parents in the learning activities in school and in the home and crucially namely provision of learning facilities are mainly guidance and impetus (motivation).

The purpose of this study to determine, describe, and analyze the role of teachers in addressing student misbehavior penjasorkes Public High School students in Kendal. This study used qualitative methods, the location of the research conducted in SMA se-Kendal. Research subjects in this study were penjasorkes teacher, principal, BK teachers and students. Data collected by using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of using triangulation source. Data analysis using descriptive analysis model according to Miles and Huberman. Based on the results of research conducted and has been linked with the theory Suparwoto, et al. It can be concluded that the role of teachers penjasorkes (1) in terms of preventive prevent student misbehavior is good. (2) is good in terms of repression. (3) in terms of curative and rehabilitation are good. The conclusions that can be drawn from this research is the teacher's role in addressing delinquency penjasorkes students in SMA se-Kendal has been running both in terms of preventive, repressive and curative or rehabilitation).

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kapasitas pengajaran yang profe­sional mahasiswa PPL PBI UIN Alauddin Makassar yang melibatkan 4 guru pamong dan 30 mahasiswa PPL. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei online, lembar pengamatan dan dokumentasi yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode campuran qualitatif dan kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa: 1) mahasiswa PPL berpendapat bahwa seorang guru bahasa Inggris seharusnya mampu melakukan tanggung jawabnya sebagai seorang guru yang memiliki kompetensi paedagogik, profesional, sosial, dan kepribadian, 2) mahasiswa PPL cenderung menerima pebelajar mandiri, kerja berpasangan dan kerja kelompok, mengadaptasi pengajaran untuk memenuhi kebutuhan siswa sebelum praktik pembelajaran, tetapi cenderung menguranginya selama proses pembelajaran; mahasiswa PPL juga cenderung menerima pengajaran grammar secara eksplisit, koreksi kesalahan, dan pengucapan seperti penutur asli, pengetahuan teknikal, dan keterampilan interpersonal sebelum praktik mengajar dan meningkatkan proporsinya selama proses mengajar, 3) Guru pamong berpendapat bahwa maha­siswa PPL PBI UIN alauddin harus meningkatkan kemampuan bahasa Inggris, penggunaan metode pengajaran yang inovatif, penilaian autentik, dan penggu­naan media yang bervariasi. Abstract: This research aims to explore the professional teaching capacity of undergraduate English education students of UIN Alauddin Makassar. It involves 4 supervising-teachers and 30 student-teachers. The data were collected through online survey questionnaires, feedback observation sheets and documentation; analyzed quanti­tatively and qualitatively. The research finds that: 1) the student-teachers perceive an EFL teacher should be able to do their responsibilities which involves peda­gogic, professional, social, and personal competences; 2) the student-teachers have a tendency to accept learner autonomy, pair/group work, adapting teaching to cater for learner needs before the teaching-practice but tend to decrease some parts of it during the teaching-practice; the student-teachers are likely to accept explicit grammar instruction, error correction and native like pronunciation, tech­nical knowledge and interper­sonal skills before the teaching-practice and increase the proportion of them during the teaching-practice; 3) The supervising-teachers considered that the student-teachers of PBI UIN Alauddin Makassar still need to improve their English speaking ability, the use of innovative EFL teaching me­thods and authentic assessment and the use of different kind of teaching media.

In the traditional market development policy implementation involves many stakeholders. Each of the stakeholders involved have a role or involvement of different. The purpose of this study is to describe, identify, and analyze the role or involvement of stakeholders in the policy development of the traditional market. This study uses method or descriptive qualitative research approach. Contribution of this study is to strengthen the role of stakeholders in the policy development of the traditional markets in Banten Province by strengthening the authority, strengthening policy/regulation, strengthening human resources and strengthening budget. The result of this review is that there are three (3) forms of role or level of involvement of stakeholders in policy development during this traditional market in the city of Serang, namely: (1) AMP Serang engage/act as a receiver of information, (2) Disperindagkop and Bappeda Serang involved/role as decision maker, and (3) UPTD Market, DTK, BLHD, and DPKD Serang involved/take the role of consideration. However, not all stakeholders (recipients and providers of information considerations) are involved in policy development in the traditional market city of Serang. Though this is very necessary stakeholders to provide input or consideration in policy development of traditional markets in accordance with their respective duties.

In addition to the hadith as sources of law after the Qur’an, hadith is also a second source of interpretation bil ma’tsur, and in the hadith of the interpretation function is to explain global verses, verses that explain abstruse, paragraph absolute - verse, and others. So if the hadiths that are used for the hadith interprets maudhu ‘ then this will damage the interpretation.

Abstrak Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pelaksanaan tugas dan wewenang Panwaslu dalam pelaksanaan Pemilukada di Kabupaten Jembrana. Metode yang digunakan deskriptif kualitas. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa peran Panwaslu dalam pelaksanaan Pemilukada belum optimal karena belum diberi peran yang luas, masih merupakan lembaga ad hoc, dan pola rekrutmen yang belum baik.Disarankan, agar memperluas kewenangan Panwaslu, pembentukannya bukan sebagai lembaga ad hoc;dan pola rekrutmennya diperketat dengan persyaratan yang memadai. Abstract This study aims to identify the tasks and authority in the implementation of the Panwaslu Jembrana District. The method used descriptive quality. The study results showed that the role of the Panwaslu in the implementation of the Pemilukada is not optimal because it has not been given a broad role, is still an ad hoc institution, and the recruitment pattern that has not been good. It is recommended, in order to expand the authority of the Panwaslu, formation rather than as an ad hoc institution, and recruitment patterns tightened the requirements adequately.
