- Abstract
The Holy Bible in pastoral theology. Interdisciplinary elucidations and their actuation. This paper analyses the relationship between pastoral theology and Holy Bible in interdisciplinary terms so that it might be reconsidered and founded according to methods respectful of the «intrinsic hospitality of the Bible for its readers and their past». In the light of recent developments of the synchronic-pragmatic methods of Bible exegesis and on a few theological pastoral reflections in French style (Étienne Grieu) a number of methodological elements useful for pastoral theology are considered. We try to show their possible actuation considering the theological pastoral formation course for sixth year seminarians held in Treviso and Vittorio Veneto. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Theological formation in dialogue. First, this paper considers The proposal for an integrated rethinking of theological studies in Italy presented by the Italian Theological Association in December 2021. Then it intends to focus on one theoretical turning point entailed in this proposal. This means considering the role of philosophy in the curriculum of theological studies when it faces other emerging interlocutors such as natural sciences, social sciences and mass culture. In the light of some recommendations in Veritatis gaudium three possible suggestions are outlined for a rethinking of theological studies: a better balance between philosophy, sciences and theology; a more adequate distribution of these disciplines; the presence of both general and synthetic moments. MORAL judgment , *GOOD & evil , *EMOTIONS , *MORAL realism , *CARDINAL virtues - Abstract
Do our moral judgments ─ for example "action X is good/evil" ─ designate real characteristics of actions, so that "good," "evil," and similar attributes are real properties of human acts, or moral judgments are merely expressions of the emotions we feel toward actions, and therefore good and evil do not objectively exist? The purpose of this paper is to report some of the considerations made by Alasdair MacIntyre on this question, on moral realism, emotivism and expressivism. The paper discusses the relationship between moral judgments and emotions, then the question of moral properties, then sets out some objections to emotivism, and finally concludes with some clarifications on moral realism. - Abstract
In this paper I investigate the problem of Alterity as a theological problem, focusing on the relationship between this phenomenon and the experience, in particular the experience of time. I adopt the phenomenology of Husserl to understand this complex phenomenon that has determined some of the most recent philosophical and theological debates. This paper is divided in different divisions. First of all I analyse the tendencies present in the current debate about the notion of alterity. To better frame this problem, I present a digression on the relationship between time, consciousness and the transcendence of God in the phenomenology of Husserl. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This research aimed to review the existing literature on instruments used to assess Misophonia, in order to identify future research priorities in the area. A systematic search was conducted using the following databases: PubMed, Medline, PsycINFO, Scopus, Cinahl, and Eric. Search terms refer to three main concepts: "Misophonia/Sound Sensitivity", "Assessment" and "Treatment". We limited our search to peer-reviewed papers, published in English from 2012. We selected papers where an instrument was used to assess Misophonia. After removing duplicates, 289 papers remained for screening. Titles and abstracts were screened against the inclusion and exclusion criteria. We identified 80 full-text articles to be assessed for eligibility. 63 papers were included in the review. In the present review, 21 instruments were identified, 10 of which psychometrically validated. They include 9 self-report measures and 1 semi-structured interview. We found just 1 validated questionnaire for children. Different instruments are based on different definitions of Misophonia and just a few measures investigate all the areas included in the most recent definition. Results confirm a significant variability in instruments used to assess Misophonia. We argue the need to improve assessment in both children and adults, validating existing measures in larger samples and different countries. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Misophonia is a condition of reduced tolerance to specific sounds or stimuli associated with those sounds, characterized by intense neurophysiological activation. General symptoms include heightened sensitivity to everyday noises such as coughing, sniffing, chewing and throat clearing, which results in a strong emotional reaction followed by avoidance behaviors, distancing, and, in some cases, aggressive responses. This is followed by emotions, as of anger, disgust, anxiety and depression (Swedo et al., 2022). Despite the growing interest in this phenomenon, there is currently no diagnostic classification. The purpose of this paper is to provide an updated overview of the literature regarding the definition and the etiology of misophonia, with particular emphasis on the symptomatology and psychological and behavioral correlates. Data in the literature were collected and analyzed according to the guidelines of the PRISMA method (Moher et al., 2009). The review was conducted through the main search engines on scientific papers published between 2010 and 2022, in English. Overall, a total of 40 articles were included. The research suggests that misophonia could be classified as a discrete psychological disorder, as symptoms present in a stable and consistent pattern, and patients report similar developmental pathways (Schroder et al., 2013; Jager et al., 2020). The patient's intensity reaction is determined not so much by the physical characteristics of the trigger sound, but rather by his or her psychological profile, context, and the cognitive interpretations the individual makes about the specific source of the sounds, which influence the intensity and uncontrollability of his or her reactions (Brout et al., 2018). A difficulty in emotion regulation and the presence of affective lability, exacerbates the severity of symptoms and may impair the individual's work, school and social functioning in the long run (Guetta et al., 2022). The etiology of misophonia can be traced back to both hereditary factors and environmental causes, e.g., associative learning mechanisms. Moreover, misophonia is thought to be related to high levels of connectedness between the auditory, autonomic and limbic systems and that, in particular, it would be AIC (Anterior Insular Cortex) that plays an important role (Edelstein et al., 2013). It would be desirable to expand the research to have more clarity on the phenomenon and possible treatments useful in reducing the discomfort and improving the quality of life of the subjects. The Covid-19 pandemic made the matter of how to train 21st century readers even more urgent, preparing them to deal with a media scenario of attention economy, disinformation, infodemic and post-truth. This paper analyzes the new challenges that readers have to face, through the lens of some fundamental dichotomous questions for the present and the future of reading: information versus knowledge; slowness versus acceleration; attention versus distraction; boredom versus hyperactivity. What are the cognitive differences between digital reading and reading on paper? What do we risk losing in these conflicts? And what can we do to continue to comprehend what we read?. PUBLIC libraries , *REPUTATION , *PUBLIC spaces , *JOB skills , *PUBLIC administration , *MARKETING , *SATISFACTION - Abstract
The paper reflects on La biblioteca pubblica e la sua reputazione, Maria Stella Rasetti's last book, published by Editrice bibliografica. The reflection starts from the reputation as object of study of different disciplines (such as communication, marketing, economics, sociology) and analyzes the importance of library reputation, closely associated with identity and image. Rasetti identifies four classes to place Italian public libraries and proposes a model to measure library reputation, adapted from business models, which uses personalized questionnaires for each class. The paper analyzes model validity and contextualizes it in the field of user satisfaction, performance and libraries impact. The hope is that measuring reputation can help public libraries to build a new narrative that overcomes public administration stereotypes of which they are victims, and to equip citizens with useful skills for work, everyday and social life, making them active and conscious protagonists. In the last few years, artists' archives have gained a central role in the debate on the nature, treatment and valorization of 20th century and contemporary archives. They are fascinating and precious aggregations, characterized by a plurality of documentary typologies and by specific requirements for their description. Starting from the definition of personal archives, the paper proposes a definition of artists' archives and then attempts to indicate their main characteristics, contents and elements of complexity. Finally, the paper attempts to establish a dialogue between archivists and artists, collectors, gallery owners, critics and curators in order to find common elements and differences in their actions. Dramatization is an established field of research, and teaching/learning methodology to improve of social, emotional, and creative skills and for the acquisition of knowledge about subjects such as history. Nevertheless, there are few studies on children's spontaneous dramatization in educational context and its potential role in development. This paper is aimed at filling such gap. The term dramatization, as we will use here, refers to the human activity of staging meanings in narrative and ritualistic form, enacted through the whole person and multiple communication channels. The school context is a privileged arena to observe spontaneous dramatization between peers and between children and adults. Besides, school routine is often filled with staged dramatizations aimed at building for instance a collective identity or provide moral orientations. The paper discusses a new theoretical framework to recognize dramatizations in the school context and to use their transformative value for the construction of socially competent personalities. - Abstract
The contribution explores the intricate relationship between science and the humanities, emphasising the significant role of dreams and poetry in inspiring technological innovation. It delves into the historical context in which scientific discoveries and artistic expressions have mutually shaped human civilisation. The discussion emphasises the need to integrate scientific rigour with humanistic depth to promote a holistic understanding of the world and address complex global challenges. Examining examples such as D'Annunzio's poetic interpretation of technology and the broader cultural impact of scientific progress, the paper argues for a more unified approach to education and thinking, merging the analytic with the creative to cultivate responsible and empathetic individuals. The paper analyzes the impact of the plan Next Generation European Union (NGEU) on the rights and duties of European citizens, with particular attention to the decisions adopted to find the financial resources at the supranational level and in the implementation phase at national level. After an initial overview of the social dimension of the plan, the paper focuses on the instruments used to finance it. The issue of a common debt by the EU is analyzed, as well as the legal issues it raises and its prospects. Next, the paper examines the duty of contribution of European citizens, the procedural rules that hinder the building a European tax system supporting the Union budget, and the potential impact of the NGEU on this path. Finally, the paper focuses on fiscal federalisms at the national level, to verify the impact on them of the NGEU implementation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper is based on one idea and built around one clinical experience that helped me to broaden my comprehension of it. The idea, underlying the work of several authors is that when the analytic field is saturated with primitive and unintegrated mental contents, the analyst's somatic countertransference is a precious indicator of a deep, dissociated form of communication. The clinical experience concerns the difficult elaboration of a complex, multifaceted countertransference that took place during the early stages of the analysis of a sensitive patient who used to communicate in a very dissociated way and that I found hard to contain. This experience, closely descripted in the article, led me to formulate the clinical idea that the transference field may be made of distinct layers (psychoid, affective, verbal), and that each one of them may potentially convey dissociated, even contrasting bits of information. The corollary of this is that the analyst should be ready to accept contrasting sensations, feelings, and thoughts at the same time, as they might be the basic ingredients of a complex reverie. The analyst could find himself/herself in front of his/her own internal unelaborated multiplicity before a symbolic image may emerge to link between them the scattered pieces of the experience. Nevertheless, the heart of this paper is not about suggesting an idea, but in the sharing of a complex working through, which fostered the birth of a new, more human relational perspective: the capacity of being together in time, in a transitional space where there is neither total separation nor fusion. - Abstract
This paper examines Giacomo Puccini's third and final part of Trittico, Gianni Schicchi, 1918 (libretto by Giovacchino Forzano). Since the opera is based on an episode mentioned in Dante's Inferno XXX 31-45, the paper analyses its direct and indirect references to the Divine Comedy. Considering this, the paper more globally reevaluates Puccini's relationship toward Dante and his works. Through an analysis of new documents, I suggest that the composer's valorization of the Dantean source material was more prominent than has previously been sustained. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ANCIENT philosophy , *CHILDBIRTH , *METAPHOR , *CULTURE , *PHRONESIS - Abstract
The paper attempts to offer a fresh look at Philo' s theme of the two kinds of wisdom, the perfect one (represented by Sarah) and the intermediate, or encyclical culture (represented by Hagar), considering analogous images in Greek philosophy. The paper does not aim to sketch once again the history of the notion of enkyklios paideia, either in general terms or in Philo' s perspective, as this history has been sufficiently reconstructed from both a philological and a conceptual point of view. More modestly, I intend to re-define some original traits appearing in Philo' s exegesis of Gen 16,1-6, as developed in the first part of De congressu eruditionis gratia. As a result of this survey, I propose to read Philo' s interpretation as building not only upon the 'canonical' comparison with Penelope and her servants, but also, first and foremost, upon the Platonic metaphors of knowledge as 'eros' and 'childbirth' experience. - Abstract
The paper is based on an article by the author, published in Italian (Richard e Piggle, 1993), and republished in English (Journal of Child Psychotherapy, 1995): The Sound Object - A hypothesis about prenatal auditory experience and memory. The article suggested that a maternal proto-object with sound and rhythmical qualities develops during prenatal life thanks to the foetus' capacity to hear and listen to the mother's voice, together with its protomental introjective activity which may underlie the development of the prenatal auditory memory. In the Postscript the author gives further thought to issues around the emergence of subjectivity. Her considerations, based on more recent research and psychoanalytic literature, are focused around two crucial areas of enquiry: the origins of mental life and the first flickers of awareness of the self as a subject-object. She explores the primary/prenatal dialectic between relatedness and the emergence of an ego nucleus, as well as the early origins of a "proto-symbolic" function of the human mind and its capacity to intuit that the transformational process of sense perceptions into experiences is implicitly a bearer of meaning. This paper collects and describes several clinical experiences with extremely pre-term born babies. They were nursed using different kind of settings: institutional, are NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) with the subsequent clinical follow-up and with the help of private therapies. Through these lengthwise efforts, some of the pre-term newborn's features, such as the complexity in psychosomatic integration, were identified and better understood. The cases described show how the sensorial intrusion achieved from the intensive cares, may influence the integration process as the newborn's development further up, entangling the parental interactions. - Abstract
Avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) is a new diagnosis introduced in DSM-5 in 2013. It is characterised by an insufficient intake of food in volume and/or variety. The difficulty in food intake can be motivated by sensory sensitivity towards certain categories of foods; worrying about the negative consequences of eating (i.e. choking or vomiting); or a lack of interest in food. It is associated with medical, nutritional, and/or psychosocial impairment. Therefore, it requires therapeutic management on a medical and psychological level. This paper analyses the data regarding the prevalence of the disorder, aetiology, clinical characteristics, and comorbidities. It investigates the presence of theoretical models of the functioning of the disorder. It also evaluates the assessment methods and intervention techniques that are currently being validated. To date, new data are emerging that indicate a significant presence of this problem. However, the current data is neither univocal nor sufficient and treatment is still at a preliminary stage. Therefore, it is essential for research to analyse and increase the data, to improve the recognition of this pathology and to structure effective therapies for ARFID. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Iuliu Maniu (1873–1953) was a prominent Romanian politician known for his unwavering integrity and honesty. Maniu's legacy as a champion of Romanian patriotism and his close ties to the Greek-Catholic Church are celebrated. The narrative delves into his pivotal role in the union of Transylvania with Romania, alongside figures like Cardinal Iuliu Hossu and Patriarch Miron Cristea. sheds light on the challenges Maniu faced under the communist regime, culminating in his unjust imprisonment and tragic passing. The paper also examines Maniu's early life, education, and political career, highlighting his instrumental role in the Great Union of 1918. His leadership in the National Peasants' Party (Partidul Naţional Ţărănesc) and his efforts to create a thriving middle class in Romania are explored. The test emphasizes the stark contrast between the pre-and post-World War II political landscapes in Romania, marked by the rise of the Romanian Communist Party and the subsequent suppression of traditional parties. The grim reality of political trials and the harsh treatment of dissenting voices, including Maniu, are vividly depicted. The article concludes with reflections on Maniu's enduring legacy, underscoring his continued admiration for his contributions to Romanian nationhood and democratic ideals. Despite the efforts to erase his memory during the communist era, Maniu's impact remains an indelible part of Romania's history. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The paper traces the history, including legislation, of the libraries of the State archives, born, often thanks to the will and tenacity of the directors who, through a capillary correspondence network with the cultural institutions of the national territory, fleshed out the newly erected libraries with volumes as a gift or obtained through exchanges of book doubles. The purchase on the antiquarian market and from private citizens of single volumes but also of entire book collections, important for reconstructing the history - including literary history - of the territory of competence, makes these libraries unique in their kind. Established for the updating of archivist officials and to allow them to study, reorganize and inventory documentary collections, over time they have changed their mission by expanding the audience of consultation to external users but only if they are unable to find publications in other libraries. To date, despite boasting a library heritage of a certain importance and often unique, they are managed in the absence of personnel in the role of librarian with all the problems that this entails in terms of cataloguing, planning of purchases and assistance for bibliographic research. The digitization project Giving a new voice to sources. Communicate humanistic research for all aims to make available to the scientific community the audio archive of the Bruno Kessler Foundation's Library, which preserves the recordings of the conference activities of the two humanistic research centers of the Foundation. The project represents, at least in Italy, one of the first attempts to realize a virtual space devoted to audio archival sources researchable freely online to avoid the deterioration of a cultural heritage of extremely scientific relevance, leading to its conservation and availability. The deterioration of the analogue media of the archival collection makes the digitization a matter of survival which allows a diffusion otherwise unthinkable. The accessibility to the audio archival sources allows for enlarging the number of scholars and students that can benefit from the collection for the research. It also allows general users to approach the cultural contents of the humanities. The paper aims to describe the goals, the phases of realization of the project, the methodological problems due to the critical issues of the material supports, the descriptive analysis of the contents, and the opening of the database. The first part of the essay describes the history of the audio archive of the library. This archive covers an extensive period from 1974 to the new Millennium and is composed of the reels and compact audio cassette. The second part analyses the phases of work of the project, from the preliminary analysis of the support to the conversion and the digital reworking. The last part is dedicated to the method adopted in the compilation of metadata of the files and to the description of the structure of the database, as well as his research functions and the descriptive scheme of each audio. The paper analyzes the various themes addressed in Storia confidenziale dell'editoria italiana by Gian Arturo Ferrari, published by Marsilio in 2022. The author is one of the main protagonists of Italian publishing industry: he worked for almost fifty years in Mondadori and for other publishers, as well as presided over the Centro per il libro e la lettura. From this privileged observatory, he reconstructs atmospheres and anecdotes and provides a wealth of data and information on the events that have characterized the main Italian publishers' life, extending his reflection to the development of Italian society in general. The work is not (only) an historiographical essay but also a story written by someone who was witness and protagonist of the narrated facts, representing, at the same time, a handbook for those who want to work in this world and learn the publisher's profession: it is a book that was not there until now and that certainly fills a gap. The paper illustrates the results of a survey conducted in the period January-February 2023 involving the users of the Turin Public Libraries, an urban system currently affected by a significant strategic rethinking process. Through the analysis of the answers to questionnaire provided by 3,926 people, it was possible to bring to light the complexity and the multidimensionality of the act of reading and to gather interesting information on three central issues: the process that leads readers to choose the book; the libraries' role in fostering and enriching the reading experience; the complementarity between book and other form of access to narrative world, both outside and within libraries. These cognitive elements can help both to improve the collection development policies and to favor the meeting between readers and collections, also through their integrated and transmedial organization within an enriched physical and virtual bibliographic space, which stimulates and enhances the reading experience. - Abstract
In this paper we intend to disclose the contribution given by Cosimo De Giorgi to the start of epigraphic studies in Salento. The discussion is carried out in three distinct paragraphs: the first offers a survey of all the inscriptions, both in dialect and in Italian, mentioned in the famous "travel sketches"; in the second one takes stock of the situation on the major epigraphs in the vernacular still available in the Terra d'Otranto, pointing out three unpublished inscriptions; in the third and in the appendix there is news of an autograph by De Giorgi containing a large collection of Salento inscriptions. Contextually, the relationship between De Giorgi and some important Byzantinists of the time is outlined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Wood actively equalises its moisture content in relation to its surrounding environment. Technical applications that can harness this characteristic can have a great impact in the improvement of indoor hygrometric comfort. So far few applications have made use of this unique property. The natural hygroscopic intelligence of wood can lead to the development of a new technology capable of ensuring improved indoor comfort. The natural material can thus be engineered by creating responsive composites made from wood waste and transformed through 4D printing. The biomimetic actuators studied in this paper are aimed at linking the transformation of form into environmental control functionality applied to building comfort in adaptive and passive solutions. In the façade sector, the ecological and circular transition requires the adoption of new business models that exploit the value of the material as much as possible. In this context, the Internet of Things (IoT) is identified as a potential innovation driver for the widespread use of circular approaches. The aim of the paper is to clarify the role of IoT in enabling five circular business models in the façade sector. The potential benefits of an IoT-based façade system are highlighted through a matrix underscoring the relationship between information produced and key actions to achieve the innovative business models. The research discussion and findings open the debate on the perspective of digitally integrated building components. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The current and increasingly intensive technocratic drift recognises the indiscriminate power of techniques in solving several problems, including the struggle against climate change and its impact on cities. One of the future challenges concerns the effective and conscious application of KETs for the creation of smart environments in historical heritage, which plays a strategic role for its conservative values, but also in the broader strategy for limiting greenhouse gas emissions. The proposed paper reports some preliminary results of a research aimed at investigating and acknowledging these technologies as an enabling medium to undertake more informed deterministic choices in the field of CH. CIRCULAR economy , *VALUE chains , *PRODUCTION methods , *STAKEHOLDER analysis , *DIGITAL technology , *TECHNOLOGICAL innovations - Abstract
Enabling Technologies have the potential to transform both the physical flow of materials and resources (production and construction methods), and the intangible organisational and managerial relationships (exchange and monitoring of data and relationships along the entire chain of value). They should, therefore, be considered important in supporting change processes aimed at the circular use of resources. This paper presents some research and experiments, at European and Italian level, aimed at developing and applying Enabling Technologies for circular economy, and at aligning them with the needs and challenges of society, by directly involving actors of the building sector ecosystem in moments of discussion and co-creation to define potential strategies and operational actions for innovation in the sector. The objective of this paper is to present a methodology for the integration of a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) microclimate simulation and a Geographic Information System (GIS). The first workflow involves the attribution of spatial coordinates to the point data extracted from the CFD, the implementation of an SQLite database, and the connection to the database to visualise and use information on environmental and comfort variables. The second workflow involves georeferencing the CFD raster output, attributing an ID to the point data, creating a point grid in a GIS environment, and merging these with the point data on the microclimate. For demonstration purposes, the methodology is tested on a real case study using ENVI-met and ArcGIS Pro. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BUILT environment , *CLIMATE change mitigation , *LOCAL knowledge , *ATMOSPHERIC models , *DECISION making , *FLOOD risk - Abstract
Climate scenarios require the implementation of climate proof actions. The effectiveness of such projects directly depends on the knowledge of local contexts and on the built environment's characteristics in relation to climate risk conditions. Innovative methods of knowledge can be implemented through the use of enabling technologies. Based on these considerations, the paper proposes the Coast-RiskBySea model as support for climate proof decision-making in relation to coastal flood risk, with the aim of developing new synergies between environmental design and enabling technologies. The proposed model was tested on an application case in the city of Naples by simulating a climate proof measure to assess the effectiveness of this solution in terms of damage reduction, and to define the potential and criticality of the approach. DIGITAL transformation , *CULTURAL property , *CULTURAL centers , *DIGITAL technology , *CULTURE - Abstract
The use of digital technologies is an open and very rapidly evolving field of investigation and experimentation. This paper addresses their role in Cultural Heritage (CH) safeguarding activities, drawing on the research results of the H2020 project "4CH-Competence Centre for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage" (CC) [GA 101004468]. 4CH moves from the human-centric vision of digital transformation, advocated by the EU, and envisages an interdisciplinary approach, combining theoretical and practical knowledge, all in support of a reflection on the role of enabling technologies, the new skills associated with them, the CH preservation and enhancement related approaches, and their integration into the established technical culture. EXPERT systems , *DEEP learning , *ARTIFICIAL intelligence , *EVOLUTIONARY algorithms , *HEURISTIC , *SOCIAL dominance - Abstract
The paper analyses the evolutionary tendencies in the use of artificial intelligence in building design, highlighting: a) the ground lost by knowledge-based expert systems and the diffusion of systems combined with heuristic and stochastic approaches; b) the spread of evolutionary algorithms in the field of optimisation; c) a climax of the influence of probabilistic approaches around 2010; d) the progressive dominance of deep learning since 2012. It is likely that the next step requires hybridisation of deep learning and symbolic artificial intelligence, and it is expected that the contribution of design domain experts in terms of knowledge formalisation will be a fundamental driver of it. RENEWABLE energy transition (Government policy) , *COMMUNITIES , *ENERGY shortages , *CLIMATE change mitigation , *CLIMATE change , *CLEAN energy - Abstract
Responses to the current energy crisis and to action against climate change have produced a wide variety of experimentations. Positive Energy Districts (PEDs) and Energy Communities (EC) are spreading as aggregators of enabling technologies, but the knowledge and skills required to plan, implement and monitor them still need to be developed. Technology alone is not enough to facilitate knowledge sharing and the experimentation and co-creation of solutions. The paper focuses on methods and tools that allow to support the creation of "energy citizens" through considerations developed in project H2020 GRETA (Green Energy Transition Actions) and in COST Action 'PED-EU-NET'. - Abstract
This article proposes a hermeneutic of the concept of the common good in the corpus of texts that make up the Social Doctrine of the Church. The introduction points out the diversity of the use of the term in the same corpus of texts and the naivety that exists in limiting the notion to its supposed definition in Gaudium et spes 26. The first part of the paper starts from the analysis of chapter II of Gaudium et spes and shows that the coherence of the theological narrative in which paragraph 26 is inscribed refers to the scholastic and patristic syntheses of the common good. The essential features of these two syntheses, recently recovered by the research, are then made explicit. The conclusion proposes a new hermeneutical basis for understanding the deployment of the notion of the common good in the texts of the pontifical magisterium on social ethics. This conclusion serves as the basis for the second part of the article, which proposes precisely such a re-reading of the Church's Social Doctrine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
This paper reviews the moral-theological approaches to the morality of war in the last 60 years. First, it notes the abandonment of the "just war" paradigm, in force since St. Augustine until the second half of the 20th century and definitively declared invalid by Pope Francis. Secondly, it analyzes and discards the ethical paradigms that have emerged since Vatican II: the paradigm of "Just Defense", the paradigm of "Humanitarian Interference" and the paradigm of "Preventive War". Following the orientations of Pope Francis, the Author proposes an "Absolute No to War", for whose realization modifications in the Institutions of International Law and the creation of a Just World Order are required. The Author notes the inspirational force of the encyclical Pacem in terris to realize the paradigm shift about the morality of war. The article concludes with a moral assessment of the war Invasion of Ukraine by the Russian Federation, initiated on 24.02.2022 and still ongoing. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Primal repression, D.: Urverdrängung, is a concept belonging to the realm of metapsychological necessities, of the first structuralisation and construction of the mental system. It was postulated by Freud (1911, 1915, 1926, 1937) to retrospectively explain the mechanism of repression (repression proper) as a movement of attraction by something which is already there. Contrary to repression proper/secondary repression, D.: Nachdrängen, the “cornersone” of psychoanalytic thinking, the concept of primal repression stays partly forgotten, partly incomprehensible, even though its underlying conceptualisations have been attracting increased attention over the years. This paper approaches that realm by investigating representability and unrepresentable, dynamic: action – representation, and the birth of psychic from the requirements of work. The first internal duality and the first bond are introduced into psychic life by the processes of primal repression, a tension between regressive attraction and the formation-reconstruction of psychic processes. Clinical material is presented as an illustration. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The paper attempts to reflect on the value and meaning of psychoanalysis as well as the very fact of what to be a psychoanalyst means. Psychoanalysis is seen as a path towards the possibility of obtaining greater degrees of freedom in life, within the limits of what is possible, by facing the desires, difficulties and fears that growing up entails, such as the need and the fear of needing other, or the very fantasy of being able to find ourselves deprived of the protection that our chains offer us. We don’t grow up alone, but benefiting from our family, as well as from friends and colleagues, from our own analysts and masters who have supported us in our training, searching for our own personal identity in which past experiences can be given new meaning in a new authenticity. A fragment of a clinical experience is presented in which analyst and patient meet, with their mutual personal histories, motivations, and desires, as people with different roles who decide to have a common intention. - Abstract
This paper will focus on what the author calls the "green factor": the plant world's ability to foster profound healing and self-healing processes. This factor could be considered an element capable of promoting the analytic couple's journey in individuation through a "good enough rhythmical interaction". Such interaction is made possible by creating and maintaining, in therapy, a good level of empathy, mirroring and resonance that -- echoing natural cyclical rhythms primarily in nonverbal communication -- fosters the passage from dissociation to integration. This dynamic depends mainly on paying constant attention to the various kinds of images referring to nature (both inside and outside ourselves), i.e. attention on the "green world" that reconnects us with the wider ecosystem of which we human beings form a part. The author suggests that remembering and respecting the profound relationship between Mind and Earth or Psyche and Gaia means developing and cultivating an ecological attitude or eco-oriented epistemology, a theory according to which, individual wellbeing can be considered a fragment of the health of our planet, in the same way as the individual anima is a spark of anima mundi. This theory has been embraced by numerous scholars ranging from Jung to Bateson, Mancuso and Schore. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The vicissitudes of a group of psychotherapy with adolescent patients, from its foundation to just over one year of work, bring to the attention of the conductor and of the observer of the group the suffered subject of the absence of the other. Depending on the analysed matter, and therefore at different levels, in this paper they retrace, listening also to their own countertransference, the trouble and urgency to match depressive and deadly experiences linked to absence and loss. Far from regarding the matter as depending only on the patients, the conductor and the observer ask themselves about the drives that have supported and influenced the birth and the definition of this group, which shows working features of its own, which are described in here. Then the hypothesis is suggested that a "joint" among different facts (such as the lack of a shared group culture in the institution where the group was born, the often small number of participants, the histories of the patients scattered with dropouts and also the tasks of adolescent development itself) have resulted in and allowed the group, if not to work through the matter of the absence of the other, at least to push on presenting it in different times and with different languages (interactions among participants, actings out, movie storytelling,...), aiming to expand increasingly broader areas of thinkability. This essay proposes an interpretation of the "Cantico del gallo silvestre" in light of Giacomo Leopardi's knowledge of Hebrew. His study of the language of the Old Testament, his translations of its texts and the many notes regarding it in the Zibaldone offer the grounds to reinterpret both the operetta's title and its introduction as Leopardi's attempt to recreate his own sacred text, by means of a precise and focused linguistic imitation of the features identified as peculiar to Hebrew itself. Finally, to further understand the depth of the linguistic research accomplished, the paper offers a comparison between the "Cantico" and other Leopardi falsifications and apocrypha.
