In this paper, using two reports as research targets: "Enhancement of Educational Counseling for School Children (Report) - Creating a Counseling System for Raising Lively Children- (Report 2009)" of the "Council for Research Collaborators on Educational Counseling, etc." and "Enhancement of Educational Counseling for School Children (Report) - Creating a Counseling System for Raising Lively Children - (Report 2009)", we analyzed to what extend there were misunderstandings about social work and to what extend they were corrected over the course of 8 years. We extracted 7 items: difference from SC and psychological expertise, social work perspective -interaction between people and the environment -, approaches to the individual, qualification requirements, direct and indirect support, awareness of "external human resources", and recommendations for expertise. Further, we subdivided them into 10 items and deepened our consideration of whether improvements were seen mainly from the "report 2009" to the "report 2017". As a result, it can hardly be said that the misunderstandings had completely improved, as seen in 1 for "improved", 4 for "partially improved", 1 for "originally recognized", and 4 for "no improvement". In the future, we would like to correct the misunderstandings in various situations and show the ideal school social work practice. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
