最近5年間の入学時のUPI項目の年次推移をみながら、学生の精神的・身体的自覚症状の動向について検討した。最初に平成16年度と平成20年度の入学学生を対象として,入学時UPI検査の各項目の出現率の有意差検定を行なった。その結果,「吐気、胸やけ、胸痛がある」,「頭痛がする」,「考えがまとまらない」,「めまいや立ちくらみがする」の4項目で有意な増加が認められ,心気症的な学生の漸増が示唆された。次にUPIの中で、特定項目(要留意項目)とされる「死にたくなる」,「他人に陰口を言われる」,「自分の過去や家庭は不幸である」について,精神症状のために適応困難に陥った13例の学生のデータと照らし合わせながら検討した。これら13例の入学時UPIでは,「死にたくなる」が4例、「他人に陰口を言われる」が3例存在した。このうち,どちらにも得点しているものが3例あり,両方がそろった場合には,一層の留意が必要であることを指摘した。, Objective : Mental health of the university students was investigated by analyzing the data from UPI(University Personality Inventory) test for the past 5 years. Method : UPI are composed of 60 questionnaires. All the UPI were recorded when the students entered Osaka Kyoiku University. Firstly each questionnaires of UPI were statistically compared between fresh students group in 2004 (N=961) and in 2008 (N=955). Secondly UPI recorded by 13 maladjustment students were checked. Results : the group of 2008 showed significantly higher percentage in 4 questionnaires, that is , “headache", “nausea, heartburn, chest pain", “dizziness", “a thought is not unified" than the group of 2004 . In maladjustment students, 25 % of them had already showed “suicidal idea “ and “persecution idea" when they entered the university. Conclusions : It was found that university students who complained of hypochondriacal symptoms had been increasing. Furthermore it was suggested that two questionnaires of UPI, that is, “suicidal idea“ and “persecution idea" had to be checked to find early maladjustment students.

適応困難学生の早期発見,早期対応の可能性ならびに保健センターにできる援助を検討することによって大学生のメンタルヘルスについて論じた。平成X年4月以降から平成X+5年3月に至るまでにメンタルヘルス相談のために来室した学生のうち,大学への登校が困難な学生,本学のカリキュラムに定められている実習への参加が困難な学生,学内での対人トラブルが明白な学生を適応困難学生とした。対象数は男子6名,女子24名の計30名であった。結論として適応困難学生は入学前よりその傾向を有していることが多く,入学時性格検査を有効に利用した予防的働きかけが必要であること,また適応困難学生が保健センターを利用するようになるのは問題が生じてかなり経過してからのことが多く,教職員と連携を図り早期発見に務めることが必要であること,さらに継続来室しうるよう信頼関係の構築に努めことが肝要になることを改めて指摘した。, Mental health of maladjusted students were studied in this report. Objective: The authors reviewed early detection of maladjusted students and early stage correspondence with them. Method: 30 maladjusted students who had mental health consultation for the past five years in the health center of Osaka-kyoiku university were researched. Yatabe-Guilford Test and University Personality Inventory have been taken at the entrance to university by all fresh students every year. We examined the result of both the tests. In addition, factors of their adaptation difficulty and progress after consultation were analyzed. Results: Maladjusted students already had a tendency of adaptation difficulty before entrance to university. When they came to the health center, significant time passed since they got impossible to adapt themselves. The group that continued consultant had better progress than non-continued group. Conclusions: We pointed out that both the tests performing at entrance to school was effective to detect maladjusted students and it was necessary to construct a relationship of mutual trust for their continued treatment.

不全感とは、心が晴れない、心弾まない、何か屈託がある、といった現象を意味するものとする。フラストレーションないしストレスの感覚といってもよい。本研究は、アンケート調査によって得られた韓国の中学生772人（男子；421、女子;351)、日本の中学生1158人（男子;616、女子；542)、合計1930人のデータについて検討する。不適応感として設定した、家出したい、死にたい、人を殴ったり暴れたい、の3項目について日韓間に有意な差が認められた。いずれも韓国の青少年にその比率が高かった。特に「死にたい」は日本の青少年が25％なのに対して韓国の場合は55％となり両国の違いが際立っている。なお、学校をやめたい、の項目には有意差がなかった。不全感の9項目について主成分分析を施し、3主成分を抽出した。それらは流行遅れ不全感、学習時間不全感、進路決定不全感と解釈された。平均値の差の検定の結果、第1主成分（流行遅れ不全感）スコアでは日本の青少年が有意に高い。第2および第3主成分については韓国の青少年のスコアが有意に高かった。韓国の青少年においては進学・進路問題が不全感となり、日本の青少年の場合は社会や流行に敏感であるようだ。, This paper discusses feelings of inadequacy in terms of general unhappiness, depression or weariness. It can be said that this sense of inadequacy is a form of frustration or a sign of stress. The present research examines data from a total of 1930 individuals among whom 772 were Korean junior high school students (421 boys and 351 girls) and 1158 were Japanese junior high school students (616 boys and 542 girls). To uncover any indications of maladjustment, the researcher asked students to respond to the following four statements: (a) I wish to run away from home; (b) I want to quit school; (c) I want to die; and (d) I wish to beat someone or commit some act of violence. Between young Japanese and Koreans, the results show a statistically-significant difference in their responses. To each of these items, Koreans showed a higher rate of maladjustment. This was especially the case with the third item, "I want to die." Fifty-five percent of Korean respondents answered in the affirmative compared to only 25 percent of Japanese. The item "I want to quit school," however, showed no significant difference. Of the nine items outlining the sense of inadequacy, the researcher applied principal component analysis to extract three primary components. In these components, the senses of inadequacy were interpreted as being related to maintaining fashion trends, study hours, and career planning. The examination on the first principal component (weariness about being behind the latest fashion) reveals a statistically significant result, with the Japanese students figuring higher than the Korean. In the second and the third components, the young Koreans scored higher with statistical significance. The Korean youngsters seem to worry more about their academic course and future career, while the Japanese seem more concerned with social mores and the latest fashions.

Although this theory was pointed out from before, research of maladjustment relation with identity confusion of adolescence was seldom conducted. In research of child-parent relationship that research of development of not changing pattern of attachment was treated as important research. I exhibited doubt in a continuity of attachment theory. In this study, maladjustment of adolescence is considered from the viewpoint of identity confusion, and from the viewpoint of negative experience of the infancy. Result of this study indicated that cause of maladjustment of adolescence is identity confusion rather than negative experience in infancy is a direct factor.

This study explored the background effect of school non-attendance in junior high school students. Two hundred ninety-eight junior high school students completed a questionaire. It was consist of perceived control scale for children and items about their feelings for parents, classmates, teachers, classes, and so on. The results were as follows:(1)Desire for school non-attendance was controlled with High perceived control, perceived affective support from families and friends, and a feeling of school attractiveness.(2)Absent behaviour was controlled with high perceived control, a feeling of school attractiveness.(3)Maladjsutment to study, psychosomatic symptom and feelings of negative relationship with father, mother, and friends had aggravating effect on desire for school non-attendance and absent behaviour.

application/pdf, 中学校生徒の「暴力」と「不適応」について,質問紙法による調査を4カ国（日本・西ドイツ・タイ・インドネシア）の5都市（横浜・弘前・ハノーバー・バンコク・メダン）7群の総計641名に実施した.結果を統計学的に分析し,比較文化的問題について考察し検討をくわえた. 日本国内間の比較では,有意な差はみられなかった.しかし国の異なる3つの大都市の群間では,大きな違いが認められた.また宗教的背景の異なる同一地域内での3群間では,有意な差と構造的な違いが認められた.これらのことから,中学校生徒の「問題行動準備性」形成には,世界共通と考えられてきた「現代化」や「都市化」による影響よりも,それぞれの社会文化や宗教的背景の違いがより多く影響するものと考えられた., 弘前医学. 40(3), 1988, p.392‐403
