近年，製品や建築などの内装材に採用されるテクスチャには，高級感がますます求められている．しかしながら，テクスチャデザインには，その方法論が存在せず，試行錯誤に依存しているのが現状である．本稿では，テクスチャの視覚評価因子とそれらに関与する光学特性を解明するとともに，その知見のデザインへの応用についても考察した．まず，多様なテクスチャを対象に実施した視覚評価実験解析の結果，テクスチャの高級感に奥行き感が大きく寄与するとともに，高い奥行き感評価が赤色系テクスチャにおいて顕著であることが示された．次に，上述の赤色系テクスチャを対象に実施した光学特性実験の結果，正反射光付近の角度における分光反射率差が奥行き感に寄与することが示された．さらに，試料に対する垂直角と入射光方向の各最大分光反射率における差異も奥行き感評価に関与することも判明したことから，観察角度の動的変化が奥行き感を高めることが示唆された．これらの結果から，テクスチャの高級感向上に向けた，有効な分光反射率の操作が示された．In recent years, the texture used for interior materials such as products and buildings are required to have high grade quality. However, the methodology does not exist for the texture design, and it depends on trial and error at present. In this paper, the application method of the knowledge to the design was examined, while visual sense evaluation factor of the texture and optical characteristic concerning them were clarified. First, as a result of visual evaluation experimental analysis carried out for various textures, it was shown that depth sense greatly contributed to high grade quality of textures, and that high depth sense evaluation was remarkable in red colored textures. Next, as a result of optical characteristic experiment carried out for the above-mentioned red system texture, it was shown that spectral reflectance difference in the angle near the regular reflection light contributed to the depth sense. In addition, it was also proven that the difference in each maximum spectral reflectance of vertical angle and incident light direction for the sample was also concerned in the depth sense evaluation, and it was indicated that the dynamic change of the observation angle raised the depth sense. From these results, it was shown that the effective spectral reflectance was manipulated to improve the quality of the texture.

The purpose of this research is to develop a procedure for extracting information on the water quality from multi-spectral satellite images. As the initial stage of this research, controlled laboratory experiments have been carried out to measure the spectral reflectance of the seawater in Obama Bay. In this paper, the seasonal variations of suspended sediment and chlorophyll-a concentration in Obama Bay obtained from spectral reflectance measurements have been pointed out. Moreover, the validity of some algorithms to evaluate chlorophyll-a concentration in Obama Bay using multi-spectral satellite images has been discussed.

The goal of this research is to develop a procedure for extracting information on the water quality of Lake Kitagata from multi-spectral satellite images. As the first step of this research, controlled laboratory experiments have been carried out to measure the spectral reflectance of samples obtained from Lake Kitagata in order to determine the principal components of the water. Preliminary results of the laboratory experiment indicate that the main components of the water in Lake Kitagata are sediment and plant matter (including phytoplankton). In this paper, the validity of the procedure for the extraction of chlorophyll-a component (plant matter) from the water in the lake has been discussed and confirmed.

Gray films for building windows have an effect of cutting incident solar radiation without intercepting of visibility through windows. We analyzed of spectral transmittance and spectral reflectance of gray films for building windows considering the change of incident angle of solar radiation against vertical glasses. As incident angle of solar radiation increases from 0° to 70°, as spectral transmittance increases. And also we clarified its efffect on decrease of room temperature by numerical simulation. In the case of a building with an atrium which is located in Kashiwazaki, Niigata, whose total floor area is about 800㎡ and whose south wall is covered with windows, solar heat gain was reduced 55% in summer seasons, and 46% in winter seasons.

2003年5月9日に打ち上げに成功した探査機はやぶさは、リモートセンシング科学観測機器として、可視多色カメラ(AMICA)、近赤外線分光器(NIRS)、蛍光X線スペクトロメータ(XRS)、高度計(LIDAR)を搭載している。2005年の小惑星到着までの航行中の時間を使ってこれまで、恒星観測、惑星観測、X線天体の観測を行ってきている。今回2004年5月19日の地球スイングバイの機会を使って、地球および月の観測を行ったのでその結果を報告する。地球スイングバイ前後は、軌道決定、軌道修正、バッテリー充電、電気推進の始動、などの数々のイベントがある中で、主に非可視中の時間を使って、科学観測を行い、各観測機器の性能の確認を実施することができた。, 資料番号: AA0049122147

Application of a portable relfectometer with optical range of 400 nm to 1050 nm was assessed based on changes in LAI of guineagrass and water content of the top 5 cm of soil. The relations of relfection to changes in LAI and soil water content were determined. Frequently cloudy and rainy weather in 1991 limited application. Statistical analysis of the number of days with sunshine above 80 percent indicated application to be fairly limited, particularly for fast growing crops during the summer in Tsu city.
