Aim: To investigate the association between the quality of life and treatment with antipsychotic medications among patients with schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Objectives: 1. To evaluate the pattern of outpatient treatment with antipsychotic medications in patients with schizophrenia disorders. 2. To evaluate the quality of life among patients with schizophrenia disorders and association with their sociodemografic characteristics and clinical features of disease. 3. To evaluate the association between the quality of life and the treatment with antipsychotic medications among patients with schizophrenia disorders. Methods: The study included 55 patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder. Quality of life was assessed using the Quality of Life Scale (QLS) questionnaire in which higher scores reflect better quality of life. Clinical data was obtained from the patients‘ medical records. Results: The mean QLS score of all the participants was 24,89±6,72.
