The article discusses paper restoration workshop at the Czech Museum of Music and the restoration of musical instruments at the museum.

This paper describes the research published during the period 2011-2020 by five leading Spanish peer-reviewed journals of communication, aiming to identify the most common theoretical frameworks and standard theories. A statistically representative sample of the articles published during that period was systematically selected from the five journals of communication ranked as having the greatest continuity and impact according to SJR-Scopus: Profesional de la Información, Comunicar, Communication & Society, Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico and Revista Latina de Comunicación Social. A coding protocol that includes 13 variables and 74 categories was defined and applied to compare the type of theoretical frameworks and the theories in the different subject areas observed. The results show that although almost all the papers studied have a theoretical framework, fewer than half are grounded on recognizable theories. Specifically, journalism and digital communication are the two subject areas whose articles frequently include standard theories: in journalism by the support of classical theories of communication (framing, agenda setting, journalistic professional cultures and roles), and in digital communication by the support of more theoretically dispersed frameworks. In this paper we aim to discuss how participants, advisor and student, jointly build understandings about what counts as academic writing during an orientation session, and how these understandings are developed by the student in writing a term paper. The theoretical-methodological approach adopted are the assumptions of linguistic ethnography (RAMPTON; MAYBIN; ROBERTS, 2014; GARCEZ, SCHULZ, 2015), understanding ethnography as theorization (LILLIS, 2008), studies of Academic Literacies (LILLIS; SCOTT, 2007; LEA; STREET, 2014) and the dialogism of the Bakhtin Circle (BAKHTIN, 2016; VOLOCHINOV, 2017). As a result, we recognize that the student brings school writing standards to write his term paper and the negotiation with the advisor leads him to gradually recognize what counts as writing in this literacy practice that involves research. Negotiations about what counts as legitimate for a term paper are also determined by the socio-historical positions that language subjects mutually attribute and by the dialogue established with different interlocutors (advisor, possible reader, academy). Research shows that there is a significant resources waste in construction, and accordingly lagging in productivity behind the productivity of the global economy and industry in particular. There is also a small number of papers and studies on this waste. On the other hand, a higher productivity level requires small waste of material, energy and other inputs. Therefore, construction companies are deciding to introduce lean as one of the leading methods of waste reduction. This paper deals with the introduction of lean in construction companies in BiH, currently at very low level. Bearing in mind that most construction companies in BiH are small, it concludes that introducing lean and thus reducing the resources waste and increasing productivity and competitiveness requires more information and particularly skills improvements. Apples (Malus domestica Borkh.), as part of a varied healthy diet, are a source of valuable nutrients such as carbohydrates, phenolic compounds, pectin, antioxidants, dietary fiber, minerals, and others. Apples are seasonal fruits that, for their longer-lasting storage throughout the year, should store in a cool place or processed. The present study aims to analyze the quality indicators of three apple cultivars, Florina, Golden Delicious and Freedom, which were dried in sun, shade, dehydrator and lyophilizer. The methodological framework of the study includes: a theoretical overview of apple drying methods, apple cultivars suitable for drying and some chemical indicators; determining a methodology for drying and analyzing the chemical indicators; analysis of quality indicators for fresh and dried apples; deriving recommendations for drying fresh fruit, storage and rehydration. In the research was found that in drying methods in sun and shade, the external environment greatly influences the duration of apple fruit drying and its quality. While drying in a dehydrator and lyophilizer, the external environment does not affect the time and quality of the dried apple fruits. Also, it was found that the lowest moisture content are freeze-dried fruits, which can be stored for more than three years in special foils. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Having teaching staff with didactic qualifications in university teaching leads to a measurable improvement in academic skills among students. Previous recommendations on the type and scope of medical didactic qualification measures primarily apply to teaching staff at university and in-patient settings. The situation of primary care medicine, which often employs external lecturers and whose teaching takes place to a considerable extent in decentralized training facilities (teaching practices) is not adequately addressed. Taking into account a survey on the status quo at higher education institutions for General Practice in Germany, recommendations for min- imum standards are made, based on national and international recom- mendations on the content and scope of medical didactic qualification measures. These recommendations include preliminary work by the Personnel and Organizational Development in Teaching (POiL) Committee of the Society for Medical Education (GMA), the MedicalTeachingNetwork (MDN), the Society of University Teaching Staff in General Medicine (GHA) as well as the experiences of the committee members, who hail from the field of general medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics amongst others. This investigation studies the Buena Vista II neighborhood of Villa del Rosario-Norte de Santander, characterized by its displaced population, victim of the Colombian internal armed conflict. It develops a documentary approach that contextualizes the consequences of the conflict and conceptually defines quality of life. Its methodological framework has a mixed approach; qualitative, which recognizes the dynamics and habitability conditions of the population under study and; quantitative, which performs a population characterization from the social, economic and environmental dimensions that allows to identify the quality of life needs of the inhabitants. This research allows us to establish the impact of architecture on the quality of life of the population's victims of the Colombian armed conflict, as an element that determines repair and rehabilitation processes in the context of the post-conflict. In recent years, some scholarly journals have indicated that they accept rewritten or extended version of a conference paper as long as new content are added to the journal article manuscript and that the original conference paper is included in the references. The extended publishing of conference papers now becomes topic worthy of investigation. This study analyzed the extended works of the conference papers from three major conferences in the fields of information management, i.e., Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)'s ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (ACM EC), ACM Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (ACM KDD), and ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (ACM CIKM). Papers from the 2011 meetings were used as the sample to understand to what extent conference papers have been extended into journal articles and other forms and the lag between conference and journal publishing. It also examined the differences between the conference papers and their extended versions (i.e., journal papers) by comparing the changes in authorship, references, article length, tables, and figures. It reveals the current practices of extending conference papers for journal publishing in the information management fields and may help us understand the contemporary scholarly publishing behavior. Objectives: to estimate the detection rate on prenatal screening pathologies on paper filter in the South and Southwest in the State of Bahia, as well as to delineate the epidemiological profile of these pregnant women, calculate and estimate the rate of adherence and the coverage of the Program. Methods: a descriptive study was carried out from August 2013 to August 2015, and the data were obtained from the Labimuno/ICS/UFBA. Results: 64,743 pregnant women were included; the mean ages were 25 years for the Southwest macro-region and 23 for the South. The results on the screening tests showed positivity of 0.13% and 0.29% for HBsAg, 0.17% and 0.22% for cytomegalovirus, 0.07% and 0.09% for HCV, 0.13% and 0.38% for HTLV, 0.04% and 0.19% for HIV, 1.2% and 2.84% for syphilis, and 0.54% and 0.73% for toxoplasmosis in the Southwest and South macro-regions, respectively. The estimates on coverage were considered satisfactory. Sickle cell anemia showed positivity of 0.02% and of 0.04% and 5% and 6.3% presented sickle cell trait in the Southwest and South macro-regions, respectively. Conclusions: the frequencies of infections in maternal-fetal health were considered low, highlighting on syphilis and the presence for sickle cell trait. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This paper presents an analysis of the review/replacement process of IFRS 6, taking into account the perspective of various interest groups, expressed in 141 comment letters submitted to public hearing of the Discussion Paper Extractive Activities promoted by the International Accounting Standard Board (IASB). These letters were analyzed following the methodology of content analysis, and the results are supported in institutional theory. The results show that IASB possibly have difficulty implementing its legislative proposal, given its majority rejection by the various interest groups participating in the public hearing, which rely on institutionalized practices based on the methods of successful efforts, total capitalization or area of interest, that conflict with the proposal made by the international body, and it is therefore a scenario where it is believed in maintaining the current status quo. This study aims to compare the evidence level of environmental indicators that follow the GRI guidelines, related to the three leading companies in 2012, within the Brazilian pulp and paper industry, Suzano, Klabin and Fibria. To achieve this goal, an analysis of annual sustainability reports and websites of the companies was conducted. The companies primarily reported those aspects related to materials, water, biodiversity and others, while products and services, compliance, and energy were less emphasized. The results show that the three companies presented a low evidence level, with missing or incomplete indicators. Finally, despite the reports presented and classified as A+ and B+, it is possible to conclude that the companies did not include key indicators and presented unorganized information and a lack of standardization. This work adheres to the recommendations for publication in three steps (Marin-Garcia, 2021). We propose a protocol to develop research the objective of which is to analyse the needs and challenges, as perceived by university lecturers, related to teaching, learning, or assessing competences related to the innovative capacity of students in an array of digital remote teaching contexts. In this sense, we want to consider situations where teachers watch their students interact with each other. The interaction between students can occur face-to-face or remotely and, in the latter case, either synchronous or asynchronous.
