ONLINE journalism , *DIGITAL communications , *CENTRALITY , *PUBLIC relations - Abstract
This paper describes the research published during the period 2011-2020 by five leading Spanish peer-reviewed journals of communication, aiming to identify the most common theoretical frameworks and standard theories. A statistically representative sample of the articles published during that period was systematically selected from the five journals of communication ranked as having the greatest continuity and impact according to SJR-Scopus: Profesional de la Información, Comunicar, Communication & Society, Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico and Revista Latina de Comunicación Social. A coding protocol that includes 13 variables and 74 categories was defined and applied to compare the type of theoretical frameworks and the theories in the different subject areas observed. The results show that although almost all the papers studied have a theoretical framework, fewer than half are grounded on recognizable theories. Specifically, journalism and digital communication are the two subject areas whose articles frequently include standard theories: in journalism by the support of classical theories of communication (framing, agenda setting, journalistic professional cultures and roles), and in digital communication by the support of more theoretically dispersed frameworks. Theoretical frameworks developed by literature review are common in other subject areas (such as audiovisual studies, public relations and documentation). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

LEAN construction , *WASTE paper , *WASTE products , *CONSTRUCTION industry , *INFORMATION skills - Abstract
Research shows that there is a significant resources waste in construction, and accordingly lagging in productivity behind the productivity of the global economy and industry in particular. There is also a small number of papers and studies on this waste. On the other hand, a higher productivity level requires small waste of material, energy and other inputs. Therefore, construction companies are deciding to introduce lean as one of the leading methods of waste reduction. This paper deals with the introduction of lean in construction companies in BiH, currently at very low level. Bearing in mind that most construction companies in BiH are small, it concludes that introducing lean and thus reducing the resources waste and increasing productivity and competitiveness requires more information and particularly skills improvements. - Abstract
The need to reconfigure current supply models to address future climate and demographic scenarios has driven researchers and investors to experiment with innovative production systems that have reconnected agricultural production to the point of consumption, namely cities. The technological acceleration of the past decade has led to the emergence of new urban architectures and metabolisms, often created within regulatory gaps and constraints arising from the obsolescence of zoning plans or building regulations. This paper outlines the state of the art of technological innovation and how, along with design, it has reshaped norms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Design is nowadays facing a system of rules that has over time responded to the growing complexity of construction with a regulatory proliferation that acts precautionarily against infringements and the condition of "anomie". This paper outlines new interpretative models of the relationship between rules and design that, overcoming this impasse, guarantee quality, flexibility, experimentation and innovation. Based on the illustration of the regulatory tasks positioned between obligation and guideline, and between duty and opportunity, keywords are highlighted to illuminate its peculiar aspects, demonstrating how the necessary paradigm shift is already inherent in its own conception. Finally, starting from a recent French case study, the essay summarises experimental approaches and strategies that pursue a possible innovation in national regulatory models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

DURABILITY , *REHABILITATION - Abstract
Based on measurements and research, diagnostics of the condition of a structure aims to provide an answer to the question of what the condition of the structure is, and the necessary steps for reconstruction or rehabilitation. Masonry stone construction is one of the oldest methods of construction of building structures. In spite of that, this type of structures does not have fully defined parameters that influence its behavior. The reason for this is the fact that the properties of masonry stone structures differ depending on the basic material (stone) and binding material (mortar), as well as their combination. The paper presents diagnostics of the condition of masonry structures on the Tabija tower building. Tabija, a low tower for cannons, is a fortification structure from the Ottoman period that is the most completely preserved and was registered for the first time in the city plan from 1717. The structure is in poor condition due to a large number of natural and human factors. The paper will present a detailed visual inspection of the structure, as well as tests conducted in the laboratory and in-situ, the calculation, and decisions and proposals for the rehabilitation and/or reconstruction of the considered building of cultural and historical heritage. This paper presents the freshwater limestones, from tenelija and (Mostar) miljevina, which are intercalated in the Mukoba deposit near Mostar, and their "stone cousins," Posušje miljevina and Tomislavgrad muljika. In the process of diagenesis they acquired a specific orientation and structure (especially tenelija), which gave them specific physical properties (small bulk density, high porosity and permeability), which "classic" limestones used in construction do not have, and which were decisive for the choice of this stone for construction of the Old Bridge and other buildings in the wider area of Mostar and in the area of Posubje municipality, but also in other karst poljes of Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia, in parts of Central Bosnia, and Miljevina near Foča. The second part of the paper presents the so-called built-in (internal) factors that the builders try to avoid in order for freshwater limestones that are built into numerous stone buildings and/or monuments to avoid complex processes of stone changes, or weathering (decay) of stone due to its interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors). It covers the problems and significance of the choice of stone, the method and (often too small) depth of its extraction from the deposit for the construction of significant buildings, insufficiently long aging (storage) after extraction, incorrect installation (stacking) of the stone in relation to its position in the deposit, as well as various errors in stone processing and execution, along with inadequate maintenance. CARDIOTOXICITY - Abstract
One of the guiding principles of cardio-oncology practice is to minimize the unnecessary interruption of antineoplastic therapy. The overall goal of the specialty is to ensure that cancer patients receive the best possible anticancer therapy safely, while minimizing cancer therapy-related cardiovascular toxicity (CTR-CVT) during oncology care. In this paper, we describe prior and current definitions of CTR-CVT and briefly present the landmark CARDIOTOX registry, as well as corresponding parts of the recently published, first cardio-oncology guideline of the European Society of Cardiology. In our paper, we aim to provide insight into the cardio-oncology-related aspects of precision medicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

20. El comportamiento parlamentario de los partidos populistas: el caso español.

- Abstract
This paper analyses the behaviour of the populist parties in the Spanish Parliament. This involved examining the type of initiatives submitted and the voting patterns in the chamber, as well as the themes in the agendas of two parties, Unidas Podemos and Vox, in the 12th and 14th parliamentary terms. The literature suggests that populist parties engage in defiant and uncooperative behaviour in institutions and proposed differentiated and concentrated parliamentary agendas. However, I argue that this behaviour can be nuanced by contextual, ideological and strategic factors. The analysis suggests that the Spanish populist parties reproduce and amplify pre-existing ideological and territorial divisions in the legislative institution, instead of introducing new logics of conflict (e.g., populism/anti-populism). - Abstract
The aim of this paper is to contrast with quantitative statistical analyses whether the determinants of Spaniards' preferences over favoring wealth taxation behave similarly across different policy alternatives. To do so, and based on the literature review, we exploit the special questionnaire included in the 2019 wave of the Spanish Institute for Fiscal Studies Fiscal Barometer and carry out three empirical exercises, each devoted to one of the three corresponding policy alternatives under scrutiny. We also perform a robustness check contrasting whether those determinants are the same for a single policy that would comprise these three policies at once. According to the results achieved, corroborated by those obtained from the robustness check, the determinants of Spaniards' toward favoring wealth taxation rely on self-interest arguments and values and behave almost entirely in a similar fashion across different policy alternatives. Several policy recommendations arise. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
One of the most prevalent sects in the Islamic World is the Khalvetiyye sect. This sect emerged in the geography of Azerbaijan and spread all over the world. Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī is the person who made the sect spread in this way. Shirvanī contributed greatly to the spread of this sect with both his students and the books he wrote. However, the political developments in the region after Sayyid Yahya's death caused the books Khalveti tradition to be lost or taken to different countries. El-İkhtiyârâtuʼl-Kafiye treatise, which is the subject of our study, is one of the works that lived this fate. In the study, first of all, the author of the treatise was determined. Afterwards, it was determined that there are eight copies of the treatise in the libraries of Kuwait, Egypt and Turkey. Four of these copies, which are the oldest in terms of date, were determined and the study was verified on the basis of these copies. In the examination, the oldest known copy of the treatise, which was copied in 1021/1612, which is in the Kılıç Ali Pasha Collection, was taken as the basis. Since there have been many studies on the life, works and views of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani, the author of the treatise, this subject has not been dwelled upon much. The main purpose of the study is to raise the issue that there are many unearthed manuscripts belonging to both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and other Khalveti sheikhs who lived in Azerbaijan. Another aim of these is to learn Shirvani's style in the only Arab work identified as his own. One of the most important branches of the work carried out by both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and his caliphs was the works they wrote. There are many works that describe the principles of the Khalvetiyye sect in Arabic, Turkish and Persian, either by Sayyid Yahya or by other Azerbaijani Khalveti sheikhs. However, among these works, only those belonging to Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī were studied, and no detailed examination was made about other works. It is quite difficult to reveal anything new about the works of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani. Because until today, there have been a great number of scientific studies in the form of books, papers, articles and symposiums about the life, works and caliphs of the ʽPîr-i Sanîʼ of the Khalvetiyye sect. However, as far as we can see, the author's treatise named al-İkhtiyârât, which is the subject of our study, has escaped the attention of researchers. Therefore, it has been concluded that the analysis of the only Arabic epistle known to belong to the author is important. Thanks to this treatise, we will have the opportunity to learn the method that Sayyid Yahya Şirvânî used in writing Arabic works. Another significance of the treatise is that it strengthens the possibility that works still exist in the case of a new manuscript belonging to Sayyid Yahya. Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī does not use his own name in any of his works as a method. This tradition was continued by the Azerbaijani Khalveti sheikhs. However, this method, which stems from the sense of humility, caused the authors of many of the works belonging to these sheikhs to be confused in the later periods. The most striking example of this is the work of Beyânuʼl-Esrâr. This work has been attributed to seven different authors. There is no author's name in the copies of the al-Ikhtiyârât treatise, which is the subject of our study. The only exception is the Egyptian copy. In the introductory part of the copy, the scribe also included the names of the authors of the treatises in the journal he copied. In this study, an unknown Arabic treatise of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani, who operated in Azerbaijan and influenced almost the entire Islamic World through his works and successors, is the subject of the research. The pamphlet, which is divided into three chapters under the title of truth, together with the sharia with the sublimity of the enthusiasm, the secrets of the sect and the observance together with the gracefulness of the pleasures, has been analyzed and translated on the basis of different copies. The main purpose of the study is to reveal one of the many Arabic sources of Azerbaijani Sufism, and to reveal the possibility that there may still be different works belonging to Sayyid Yahya Shirvani. Another aim of ours is to learn the Arabic style that Seyyid Yahya Shirvanī uses in his works, albeit partially. We hope that archival research in different manuscript libraries around the world will reveal the works of both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and other Azerbaijani Sufis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Halo nevi (leukoderma acquisitum centrifugum, Sutton’s nevus, leukopigmentary nevus, perinevoid vitiligo or perinevoid leukoderma) are melanocytic nevi surrounded by a halo of hypopigmentation or depigmentation. They are significantly more common in children and young people, with a peak incidence at the age of 15, withoutgender or racial predilection. The usual clinical course of a halo nevus involves gradual involution and subsequent complete regression of a centrally placed nevus that leaves behind an area of depigmentation. Typical halo nevi do not require treatment. Exceptionally, halo nevi develop from dysplastic nevi and malignant neoplasms of the skin (halo phenomenon). The paper presents a 12-year-old boy with changes in nevi on his back. During the last summer, a pale band developed around two nevi. The nevi became lighter and shrank. One of them has completely disappeared. Apart from basal cell carcinoma in the father, the presence of other atypical nevi, melanoma, vitiligo and autoimmune diseases in the personal and family anamnesis was not established. A typical halo nevus is diagnosed by clinical and dermatological examination and regular dermatological monitoring is advised. Halo nevi mostly develop from an acquired melanocytic nevus, but can be seen in dysplastic nevi, basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma. A thorough medical history, careful clinical and dermatological examination make it possible to identify atypical halo nevi that require a biopsy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The objective of this paper is to explore the role of urban codes in the transformation processes of the ordinary city. By focusing on the case study of the City of Turin, the article investigates the relationship between the regulatory system and urban form through the "window" element, providing suggestions for acting on building planning and regulation tools. In particular, the object of the research is the set of rules relating to the performance of buildings with respect to the supply of daylight and its implementation with the environmental regulation system. The paper proposes an integration to the Building Regulations, with the aim of reorienting the use of rules both as control tools during the project (and not exclusively as ex post verification), and as devices capable of enabling ordinary transformations of the city. - Abstract
There are rules that provide shared information with the aim of guiding the behaviour of individuals or the community regarding spaces, processes and products. Therefore, the goal is to start a normalisation and standardisation procedure, which allows to solve a specific problem. With regard to the culture and practice of accessibility of spaces and environments, the reference legislation (Law 13/89, Presidential Decree 24 July 1996, n. 503, ISO 21541:2021, Ministerial Decree 236/89, UNI 17210:2021) is not only rather obsolete, but also excludes a large part of potential users. This paper aims to open a debate on the current operational tools in order to evaluate and design an inclusive context, proposing a new, more performing and universal one. The culture of accessibility is not only the scrupulous and scientific observance of the rules. It also means combining both quantitative and qualitative needs; therefore, providing environmental well-being. Thanks to the critical description of reference or experimental evaluation or design tools (HCD participatory methodologies for the definition of needs analyses, Quality Function Deployment for the tracking of technical specifications, ICF with a focus on UNI activities, laws, decrees and regulations to observe the Rule), this paper describes some projects that attempted to go beyond the rule, providing an inclusive context and space to meet people's actual needs. Therefore, putting some operational tools into functional synergy (Rules, Inclusive Methodologies, ICF, QFD) to define a new multi-criteria tool can be an excellent starting point to develop, for each specific environmental context, a list of expectations that are important for planning and evaluation. - Abstract
Methods of evaluation of interlaboratory comparison results are prescribed by ISO standards. Ruler is probably one of the most widely used length measuring instrument in the world. For laboratories that plan to be accredited for the calibration of Ruler, the acquisition of a specialized Measuring bench is not economically feasible. Confidence in the measured result depends on the measurement uncertainty, and where deficiencies are observed, the values that contribute to the measurement uncertainty should be investigated. This paper describes an interlaboratory comparison for a small number of laboratories on the example of a Measuring bench for calibrating Ruler and indicates the procedure for problem identification; diagnosis of causes; consideration of solutions; initiation of action for improvement and monitoring of the results of applied solutions. The authors documented the problem and listed the elements that contributed to "Unsatisfactory" result in interlaboratory comparisons. They described the actions they took to overcome the "Unsatisfactory" result, analyzed whether the proposed solutions led to "Satisfactory" result and took actions accordingly. The paper presents the results of the international interlaboratory comparison, which are a confirmation of the competence of the personnel, measuring calibration equipment and calibration method. CHRONIC kidney failure - Abstract
This paper aims to provide a concise guide on how to successfully slow down chronic kidney disease (CKD) progression, with references to the latest evidence and recommendations. The Medline and Web of Science databases were used as the sources of medical literature, based on the combinations of keywords “chronic kidney disease”, “progression”, and “prevention”. The relevant original research papers and current national and international society guidelines were analyzed to extract recommendations and practice modifications for the optimal reduction of kidney disease progression. Regardless of etiology and type, there are certain interventions that have been proven to reduce the rate of CKD progression. Twelve of those will be examined and discussed herein: dietary intervention, anemia therapy, new mineralocorticoid receptor antagonists, inhibitors of sodium-glucose cotransporter-2, treatment of hyperuricemia, appropriate transition of care from pediatric to adult hypertension, role of renal denervation, post-COVID and kidney injury, onconephrology, air pollution, diffusion kurtosis imaging, and dyslipidemia. While chronic kidney disease is by its very nature an entity that inevitably progresses with time, much can be done to reduce the rate of its progression and, by extension, improve both the patient quality of life and the efficiency of healthcare system resource utilization. In order to avoid complex processes of changes, or weathering (decay) of freshwater limestones embedded in numerous buildings and/or monuments due to interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors), builders have always tried to avoid construction (internal) factors, such as the selection of stone, the method and (often too small) depth of its extraction from the deposit for the construction of significant buildings, insufficient aging (storage) after extraction, improper installation (stacking) of stone in relation to its position in the deposit, as well as mistakes in stone processing and execution, in addition to inadequate maintenance. This paper presents the complex processes of changes, or weathering (decay) of freshwater limestones embedded in buildings and monuments as a result of its interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors), such as: the effects of temperature, humidity and quality of air, winds, precipitation, acidic rain, exhaust gases, micro-particles and organisms in the air and water, harmful salts, radiation, soil, biological colonization, along with the destructive action of man. In this process, the aesthetic deterioration of the stone surface is only a secondary problem compared to the destruction of its structure. The consideration must certainly include the pollution flows and the environment, and meteorological and microclimatic conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BUILDING stones - Abstract
Deposits of dimension stone (hereinafter: DS) are mostly of heterogeneous composition and non-uniform properties. For the purpose of exploring the DS deposit, it is necessary to perform certain mining work in order to collect data for the determination of: existence, position and shape of the bed, quantity and quality, and the conditions for exploitation of DS. The position and shape of the deposit have a crucial influence on DS exploitation conditions. Discontinuities of different positions, dimensions and shapes were formed as a result of dynamic and chemical processes in the rocks. The exploitation of DS from the deposit is performed by obtaining as geometrically regular and as large in size blocks as possible. The DS exploitation should be harmonized with the position and shape of the deposit as well as discontinuities for the purpose of obtaining the highest possible exploitation of stone. However, a special requirement of construction is to obtain the DS, primarily of uniform appearance and other properties. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize mining works for the purpose of obtaining and installing DS of a uniform appearance, as described and shown on several examples in this paper. CARBON dioxide mitigation - Abstract
Clean Energy for All Europeans, Green Deal and Fit for 55 at European level and the Piano Nazionale Integrato per l'Energia e il Clima have identified essential decarbonisation goals that are achievable by broadening the audience of actors involved and the ability to innovate in terms of the evolution of products/services and production processes. In this sense, decentralised energy production technologies together with Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and bottomup initiatives play a strategic role in the establishment of local energy systems. The objective of the paper is to illustrate these dynamisms within the territorial system, and the characteristics of local initiatives and RECs as means of energy transition and economic development. - Abstract
The paper reflects possible "transition" strategies for the industrialised residential building stock considering its systemic nature and current technological availability, with particular reference to digital technologies. Screening of some research on housing in the context of ecological and digital transition is proposed, starting from a critical review of interventions over the past decades, which reveal a fragmented framework of punctual solutions that cannot be codified as organic and replicable strategies. This highlights the research world's focus on broader holistic approaches that look at energy transition as closely related to the transition of the entire building organism and the inhabiting community. Vaporised hydrogen peroxide sterilization (VH2O2) can be used to sterilize medical devices. Sterilization processes can be monitored using physical, biological and chemical indicators (CIs). An acceptable Sterility Assurance Level is achieved by exposure to specified parameters of each process variable eg 134oC for 3min in steam sterilization. Alternatively, a prescribed dose, an integration of intensity of sterilizing agent and time, is applied; an approach used in radiation sterilization. In steam sterilization Fo is also used to express an equivalent heating time at 121.1oC. Fo is a measure of the “dose” applied, temperature being an expression of “intensity” of the sterilizing agent, moist heat. In VH2O2 sterilization the area beneath the H2O2 concentration curve is integrated and expressed as a dose with dimensions mg∙s/L, concentration representing the “intensity” of the microbicidal agent. - Abstract
Just over 10 years after the creation of the Italian National Transport Fund (FNT) and the subsequent start of a new process to improve the efficiency of local public transport, a critical analysis of the regulatory instruments introduced in Italy for this purpose and the related consequences on the equity in the distribution of resources between regions was developed in this paper, highlighting the need for substantial changes. Unfortunately, as emerges from the bibliographic analysis, current knowledge does not allow us to have tools and models to appropriately quantify the real financial needs of each region in the sector. Therefore, some aspects are identified that research will need to investigate further to support a correct distribution of the FNT’s resources. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Jewish heritage tourism is a relatively new form of niche tourism which appeared in Europe in the 1990s, because of a renewed understanding of cultural and historical values of Jewish heritage. By its inclusion in tourism, Jewish heritage has become a visible component in destinations, which has led to the renovation of synagogues, opening of Jewish museums, organization of festivals, and also to the gentrification of neglected Jewish quarters in many European cities. The goal of this paper is to analyse the most common methods, selection of stakeholders, elements, research locations and spatial scope used in studies of Jewish heritage tourism. The analysis includes 28 scientific papers from databases and focuses on the research methods used in those papers. The results show that the most common methods used in studies of Jewish heritage tourism are content analysis and interviews. These methods have proven to be suitable for determining the state and representation of Jewish heritage in each destination, while for a higher level of integration of Jewish heritage in tourism, other methods are more appropriate. ECOTOURISM , *STANDARD of living , *COMMUNITIES , *SATISFACTION , *TOURISM research , *SUSTAINABILITY - Abstract
Nature-based tourism is a type of tourism that is primarily concerned with the direct enjoyment of relatively undisturbed natural phenomena. Today, it is among the types of tourism which are characterised by significant growth rates at the global level. It has considerable growth potential and its development can concurrently ensure tourist satisfaction with the nature experience, profit for tourism providers, funds for environmental protection and an improvement in living standards in local communities. Nevertheless, it is also important to be aware of the potential negative implications of nature-based tourism development and to continuously manage all aspects of sustainability. This paper aims to determine the main study aspects of nature-based tourism, the most common methodological approaches and the most important characteristics of its contemporary development. For this purpose, an analysis of recent empirical research on nature-based tourism was conducted, and a total of 41 original scientific papers were included in the analysis. The four study aspects derived from this analysis contribute to determining the general characteristics of nature-based tourism's contemporary development, the prerequisite factors for this development, and the effects it has on a given area. ENERGY storage - Abstract
This paper examines the technical and economic sustainability aspects of energy transition on two different scales. On the one hand, it investigates the topic of RES in the national energy system, describing structure, limits and possibilities. On the other hand, it presents the energy requalification case study of a small public building as an exemplary case of a systemic approach that adopts extraordinary solutions in terms of design process. The aim of the paper is to propose a methodological approach to improve site potential, assuming that short-term strategies must necessarily involve all the actors (including end-users) through local energy storage systems. SEPULCHRAL monuments , *INSCRIPTIONS - Abstract
The Imperial Roman military consisted of a vast collection of armies and overlapping sub-communities, causing it to be a multi-layered entity. Scholars have explored its social dynamics since the 1980s, with epigraphic material – particularly of a funerary nature – providing valuable insight. The provinces of southeastern Europe, such as Dalmatia, are home to a great deal of well-catalogued archaeological and epigraphical material which could contribute to these studies, however, they are often left unconsidered in scholarship from outside the region. This paper conducts an epigraphical and archaeological analysis of the Romano-Dalmatian inscribed funerary monuments of the Seventh Legion (Legio VII Claudia pia fidelis) to study the construction of identity and community. It is demonstrated that Legio VII was home to a complex network of servicemen intersected by various social, familial, legal, and military roles, relations, and symbols, which was rejuvenated and negotiated through the textual, sculptural, and spatial dimensions of funerary monuments. Moreover, these very funerary monuments were a significant part of this network, acting as media of identity and community (re)construction and (re)negotiation. Not only does this shed light on the social dynamics of Roman military communities, but it also reinforces the image which has emerged in recent scholarship of funerary monuments as socially constructive media. Finally, this paper demonstrates the value of theoretically engaged analyses of material from, and scholarship concerning, Romano-Dalmatia. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

PSYCHOSOMATIC disorders , *INFORMED consent (Medical law) , *PSYCHOLOGY of the sick , *HEALTH insurance , *EVIDENCE-based medicine - Abstract
The concept of quaternary prevention was integrated in 1999. into the international WONCA vocabulary as actions taken to identify patients at risk of overprescribing drugs and diagnostic procedures that would do them more harm than good. The aim was to determine the place and role of quaternary prevention in primary care. The papers published until 31.12.2022. have been analyzed. We searched Medline, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Mendeley, Serbian medical journals, books, strategies, and doctoral theses. The terms we used were: quaternary prevention, general medicine, overmedication, and diagnostic procedures. We restricted ourselves to works written in Serbian, English, and Croatian. Search has been performed from 01.09.2022. to 31.12.2022. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review (PRISMA) scale parts were used to determine the validity of the papers collected. A total of 1899 papers were identified. We did not find metaanalyses, systematic literature reviews, and randomized studies. A total of 194 were analyzed. Highlighted as relevant 36. Quaternary prevention in primary care refers to the overuse of radiological and laboratory examinations, antibiotics, screening, individual patient access, good communication, reliance on evidencebased medicine, the workload in teams of selected doctors, and prompt consent to patient requests. Some sick patients are undiagnosed, concerned about their health, with functional problems, psychosomatic disorders, and unusual behavior during illness. Quaternary prevention has a place in breast and prostate cancer screening, immunization, mental health and osteoporosis drug marketing, hypertension, prediabetes, and dyslipidemia, a private health insurance program, and the use of highresolution diagnostic technology. The most powerful way to avoid unnecessary medical procedures is to consistently apply evidencebased medicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Dehors are an integral part of the urban context and image especially in consolidated historical contexts; therefore, their size and functional-spatial design must be regulated, taking into account both technical compliance and the environmental and architectural quality of the interventions in a process that considers the standard as a guiding measure to increase the quality of the interventions protecting public, private and city needs. This paper is developed following a technical-scientific agreement aimed at supporting the City Administration in defining new Regulations for the discipline of public spaces in the UNESCO site and buffer zone of Naples. - Abstract
Calls for tenders published since 2001 under Law no. 338/00 have been characterised over the years by a gradual reduction in the standards and functional areas prescribed. This contraction, strongly accentuated by the decrees recently issued to reach 7,500 accommodation places by 2022 and 60,000 by 2026, risks undermining the virtuousness of the law by focusing primarily on economic and managerial aspects rather than on the quality of student housing and education. By collecting and processing unique data in terms of number and originality, this paper analyses and systematises the e(in)volution of the legal framework by comparing it with over 350 projects and constructions of university residences co-financed under the above-mentioned calls. - Abstract
Public administrations, called upon to integrate the principles and criteria of Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) and Environmental Socia, Governance (ESG) in the planning, design and production of their investments, now find themselves operating within new decision-making scenerios and models, in the very broad framework of standards, including specialised ones, certification protocols and framework levels for sustainability assessment and reporting. This paper reports on a research experience aimed at defining tools and guidelines to incentivise and assess the environmental and social quality of projects and works (a collaboration between Agenzia del Demanio and Politecnico di Milano). It documents the challenges, limits and opportunities arising from overlapping compulsory regulations, standards and voluntary certification protocols for the qualification of public works. This paper shows some results of the research activities carried out in the spoke five of the National Biodiversity Future Center aimed at testing the effectiveness of urban regeneration projects, including the creation of Pocket Parks as adaptation strategies to climate change. The methodological approach adopted to validate the design of small scale resilient urban spaces implemented by the Municipality of Florence will be presented starting from the definition of state-of-the-art. Furthermore, it will analyse how the metaplanning model (based on the integration of NbS) and the predictive tools used in the experimentation can be used to develop future regulatory tools for planning and controlling the transformation of the built environment. - Abstract
Defining procedural processes to support the involvement and empowerment of citizens, the main target of climate change, in order to integrate them into the holistic process of adaptation to extreme events is nowadays an extremely topical issue. Research is working towards the progressive standardisation of this process. The paper focuses on the outcomes of research on integrating the participatory approach into a methodology for climate proofing of the urban environment. The research results are include directions for increasing resilience through a cyclic step-by-step process for planning, prevention and management of the effects of disasters, centred on the involvement of different stakeholders, as well as the outcomes of the experimentation of such a process on three public housing (ERP) neighbourhoods in Rome. Against the backdrop of the complex healthcare design process and the absence of national regulations on the functional and spatial organisation of healthcare facilities, this paper discusses the Swedish use of non-regulatory Concept Programmes, i.e. orientation tools for the conceptual stages of design conceived to facilitate the systematic transfer of knowledge from research and best practices to the design practice. A comparison is also made with the design approach and the norm in the Italian context, stimulating a two-fold debate on: the tools and methods needed to guide the design of primary care facilities; the process that should lead to the definition of such tools. - Abstract
This paper reflects on the results of the recent technical policy for energy requalification in Italy, focusing on both the European objectives of decarbonisation, circularity and industrialisation of the sector, and the size and characteristics of demand. Starting from the comparison between the two main models of efficiency of the public and private building stock, based respectively on the Minimum Environmental Criteria and the Superbonus, the study examines the effectiveness and limitations of the measures for private construction, which constitutes the majority share of the entire Italian building stock. The study identifies the Energiesprong model as a possible way to improve the management and quality of energy requalification interventions capable of expanding their effectiveness beyond the environmental point of view. - Abstract
Even today we are faced with a social demand for safer urban spaces. Composition, functional features and management of such spaces are the principles behind a quality and, therefore, safe urban project. However, the orientation to safety and, therefore, to the prevention of those places requires great attention to the structure, organisation and methods of use. The "environmental design" is the perspective, and the application of UNI CEN/TS 14383-2:2023 goes in this direction. A useful tool for the project, this paper highlights the dual function of the Technical Specification, both as a 'guide' during the design phase, and as a tool for the 'verification' of the project's final result. The study analyses the explanatory order of variables such as political identification, political efficacy and electoral participation in the political system from a multi-directional perspective. It also investigates how these variables are in turn influenced by segmentation variables, including age, gender, income, educational level, social class and religiosity. The paper examines the structural relationships between socio-demographic profiles and voter turnout, considering the potential influence of political efficacy and party identity. Structural models were applied using data from the CIS 3226 Survey. The findings indicate the significant role of political identification in explaining perceived political efficacy and electoral behaviour, the effect of political efficacy on voter turnout, and the changing influence of classical segmentation variables. This paper analyses Spanish citizens' views of public service expenditure, related to their socio-demographic characteristics, values and political economic conjunctures. The study's contributions are: 1) Bringing the analysis up to the present time, including the COVID and post COVID periods; 2) Analysing the determinants by using a multivariate regression analysis; and 3) Studying the relationship between assessments of public service expenditure and actual spending, identifying significant patterns, especially in education and healthcare. The results obtained are robust, especially for welfare policy assessments. Important sociological changes in the assessment of public policies are identified and additional evidence is provided about the highly important role played by cultural values ("symbolic predispositions") with respect to "self-interest" in explaining the assessment of public spending. The access of rural societies to welfare opportunities and resources is at the core of policy and research agendas. The persistent ruralurban gap increases the risks of exclusion and is a challenge that rural dwellers tackle by bolstering their mobility to access labour markets, resources and services. The car has become a vector in the connections and transformations that sustain rural life; however, this mobility is also a source of new fractures in social and territorial cohesion. This paper explores how the rural mobility system has been shaped and analyses its impact on these societies. The results suggest integrating the issue of mobility into rural policies from a more complex sociological perspective, addressing demographic challenges, regional development and territorial cohesion.
