This paper describes the research published during the period 2011-2020 by five leading Spanish peer-reviewed journals of communication, aiming to identify the most common theoretical frameworks and standard theories. A statistically representative sample of the articles published during that period was systematically selected from the five journals of communication ranked as having the greatest continuity and impact according to SJR-Scopus: Profesional de la Información, Comunicar, Communication & Society, Estudios sobre el Mensaje Periodístico and Revista Latina de Comunicación Social. A coding protocol that includes 13 variables and 74 categories was defined and applied to compare the type of theoretical frameworks and the theories in the different subject areas observed. The results show that although almost all the papers studied have a theoretical framework, fewer than half are grounded on recognizable theories. Specifically, journalism and digital communication are the two subject areas whose articles frequently include standard theories: in journalism by the support of classical theories of communication (framing, agenda setting, journalistic professional cultures and roles), and in digital communication by the support of more theoretically dispersed frameworks. Theoretical frameworks developed by literature review are common in other subject areas (such as audiovisual studies, public relations and documentation). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

INDUSTRIAL development projects , *PUBLIC finance , *PERSONAL finance , *PAPER mills , *FACTORIES , *EMINENT domain , *ZONING - Abstract
The incidence of paper mills in the Três Lagoas region, as of 2009, brought a series of commitments and consequences to the settlers of the agrarian reform. With the offer of unlimited tax exemptions, public financing through BNDES and other industrial development programs and projects, the industries established and started the processes for the duplication of their industrial plants. Already, the settlers are at the mercy, therefore, can not obtain access to investments, nor to the financing of public banks and other development agencies. In this perspective, the only source of financing for family agricultural production ends up being the paper mills themselves, through their PDS - sustainable development plans and programs. Only in the settlement where the research was given there are 181 lots, but less than 20 were benefited by the financing. In this sense, the form and the model of financing, the speed and volume of resources contributed are at the absolute and exclusive discretion of the own pulleys, which has social and economic repercussions among the settlers, creating as a zone of imprisonment of the settlers to the paper, here called cages of paper. LEAN construction , *WASTE paper , *WASTE products , *CONSTRUCTION industry , *INFORMATION skills - Abstract
Research shows that there is a significant resources waste in construction, and accordingly lagging in productivity behind the productivity of the global economy and industry in particular. There is also a small number of papers and studies on this waste. On the other hand, a higher productivity level requires small waste of material, energy and other inputs. Therefore, construction companies are deciding to introduce lean as one of the leading methods of waste reduction. This paper deals with the introduction of lean in construction companies in BiH, currently at very low level. Bearing in mind that most construction companies in BiH are small, it concludes that introducing lean and thus reducing the resources waste and increasing productivity and competitiveness requires more information and particularly skills improvements. - Abstract
In this paper we aim to discuss how participants, advisor and student, jointly build understandings about what counts as academic writing during an orientation session, and how these understandings are developed by the student in writing a term paper. The theoretical-methodological approach adopted are the assumptions of linguistic ethnography (RAMPTON; MAYBIN; ROBERTS, 2014; GARCEZ, SCHULZ, 2015), understanding ethnography as theorization (LILLIS, 2008), studies of Academic Literacies (LILLIS; SCOTT, 2007; LEA; STREET, 2014) and the dialogism of the Bakhtin Circle (BAKHTIN, 2016; VOLOCHINOV, 2017). As a result, we recognize that the student brings school writing standards to write his term paper and the negotiation with the advisor leads him to gradually recognize what counts as writing in this literacy practice that involves research. Negotiations about what counts as legitimate for a term paper are also determined by the socio-historical positions that language subjects mutually attribute and by the dialogue established with different interlocutors (advisor, possible reader, academy). Having teaching staff with didactic qualifications in university teaching leads to a measurable improvement in academic skills among students. Previous recommendations on the type and scope of medical didactic qualification measures primarily apply to teaching staff at university and in-patient settings. The situation of primary care medicine, which often employs external lecturers and whose teaching takes place to a considerable extent in decentralized training facilities (teaching practices) is not adequately addressed. Taking into account a survey on the status quo at higher education institutions for General Practice in Germany, recommendations for min- imum standards are made, based on national and international recom- mendations on the content and scope of medical didactic qualification measures. These recommendations include preliminary work by the Personnel and Organizational Development in Teaching (POiL) Committee of the Society for Medical Education (GMA), the MedicalTeachingNetwork (MDN), the Society of University Teaching Staff in General Medicine (GHA) as well as the experiences of the committee members, who hail from the field of general medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics amongst others. This investigation studies the Buena Vista II neighborhood of Villa del Rosario-Norte de Santander, characterized by its displaced population, victim of the Colombian internal armed conflict. It develops a documentary approach that contextualizes the consequences of the conflict and conceptually defines quality of life. Its methodological framework has a mixed approach; qualitative, which recognizes the dynamics and habitability conditions of the population under study and; quantitative, which performs a population characterization from the social, economic and environmental dimensions that allows to identify the quality of life needs of the inhabitants. This research allows us to establish the impact of architecture on the quality of life of the population's victims of the Colombian armed conflict, as an element that determines repair and rehabilitation processes in the context of the post-conflict. - Abstract
In recent years, some scholarly journals have indicated that they accept rewritten or extended version of a conference paper as long as new content are added to the journal article manuscript and that the original conference paper is included in the references. The extended publishing of conference papers now becomes topic worthy of investigation. This study analyzed the extended works of the conference papers from three major conferences in the fields of information management, i.e., Association for Computing Machinery (ACM)'s ACM Conference on Electronic Commerce (ACM EC), ACM Conference on Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining (ACM KDD), and ACM International Conference on Information and Knowledge Management (ACM CIKM). Papers from the 2011 meetings were used as the sample to understand to what extent conference papers have been extended into journal articles and other forms and the lag between conference and journal publishing. It also examined the differences between the conference papers and their extended versions (i.e., journal papers) by comparing the changes in authorship, references, article length, tables, and figures. It reveals the current practices of extending conference papers for journal publishing in the information management fields and may help us understand the contemporary scholarly publishing behavior. - Abstract
The need to reconfigure current supply models to address future climate and demographic scenarios has driven researchers and investors to experiment with innovative production systems that have reconnected agricultural production to the point of consumption, namely cities. The technological acceleration of the past decade has led to the emergence of new urban architectures and metabolisms, often created within regulatory gaps and constraints arising from the obsolescence of zoning plans or building regulations. This paper outlines the state of the art of technological innovation and how, along with design, it has reshaped norms. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Design is nowadays facing a system of rules that has over time responded to the growing complexity of construction with a regulatory proliferation that acts precautionarily against infringements and the condition of "anomie". This paper outlines new interpretative models of the relationship between rules and design that, overcoming this impasse, guarantee quality, flexibility, experimentation and innovation. Based on the illustration of the regulatory tasks positioned between obligation and guideline, and between duty and opportunity, keywords are highlighted to illuminate its peculiar aspects, demonstrating how the necessary paradigm shift is already inherent in its own conception. Finally, starting from a recent French case study, the essay summarises experimental approaches and strategies that pursue a possible innovation in national regulatory models. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

DURABILITY , *REHABILITATION - Abstract
Based on measurements and research, diagnostics of the condition of a structure aims to provide an answer to the question of what the condition of the structure is, and the necessary steps for reconstruction or rehabilitation. Masonry stone construction is one of the oldest methods of construction of building structures. In spite of that, this type of structures does not have fully defined parameters that influence its behavior. The reason for this is the fact that the properties of masonry stone structures differ depending on the basic material (stone) and binding material (mortar), as well as their combination. The paper presents diagnostics of the condition of masonry structures on the Tabija tower building. Tabija, a low tower for cannons, is a fortification structure from the Ottoman period that is the most completely preserved and was registered for the first time in the city plan from 1717. The structure is in poor condition due to a large number of natural and human factors. The paper will present a detailed visual inspection of the structure, as well as tests conducted in the laboratory and in-situ, the calculation, and decisions and proposals for the rehabilitation and/or reconstruction of the considered building of cultural and historical heritage. This paper presents the freshwater limestones, from tenelija and (Mostar) miljevina, which are intercalated in the Mukoba deposit near Mostar, and their "stone cousins," Posušje miljevina and Tomislavgrad muljika. In the process of diagenesis they acquired a specific orientation and structure (especially tenelija), which gave them specific physical properties (small bulk density, high porosity and permeability), which "classic" limestones used in construction do not have, and which were decisive for the choice of this stone for construction of the Old Bridge and other buildings in the wider area of Mostar and in the area of Posubje municipality, but also in other karst poljes of Herzegovina and southwestern Bosnia, in parts of Central Bosnia, and Miljevina near Foča. The second part of the paper presents the so-called built-in (internal) factors that the builders try to avoid in order for freshwater limestones that are built into numerous stone buildings and/or monuments to avoid complex processes of stone changes, or weathering (decay) of stone due to its interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors). It covers the problems and significance of the choice of stone, the method and (often too small) depth of its extraction from the deposit for the construction of significant buildings, insufficiently long aging (storage) after extraction, incorrect installation (stacking) of the stone in relation to its position in the deposit, as well as various errors in stone processing and execution, along with inadequate maintenance. - Abstract
This study aims to compare the evidence level of environmental indicators that follow the GRI guidelines, related to the three leading companies in 2012, within the Brazilian pulp and paper industry, Suzano, Klabin and Fibria. To achieve this goal, an analysis of annual sustainability reports and websites of the companies was conducted. The companies primarily reported those aspects related to materials, water, biodiversity and others, while products and services, compliance, and energy were less emphasized. The results show that the three companies presented a low evidence level, with missing or incomplete indicators. Finally, despite the reports presented and classified as A+ and B+, it is possible to conclude that the companies did not include key indicators and presented unorganized information and a lack of standardization. - Abstract
This paper presents an analysis of the review/replacement process of IFRS 6, taking into account the perspective of various interest groups, expressed in 141 comment letters submitted to public hearing of the Discussion Paper Extractive Activities promoted by the International Accounting Standard Board (IASB). These letters were analyzed following the methodology of content analysis, and the results are supported in institutional theory. The results show that IASB possibly have difficulty implementing its legislative proposal, given its majority rejection by the various interest groups participating in the public hearing, which rely on institutionalized practices based on the methods of successful efforts, total capitalization or area of interest, that conflict with the proposal made by the international body, and it is therefore a scenario where it is believed in maintaining the current status quo. - Abstract
One of the most prevalent sects in the Islamic World is the Khalvetiyye sect. This sect emerged in the geography of Azerbaijan and spread all over the world. Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī is the person who made the sect spread in this way. Shirvanī contributed greatly to the spread of this sect with both his students and the books he wrote. However, the political developments in the region after Sayyid Yahya's death caused the books Khalveti tradition to be lost or taken to different countries. El-İkhtiyârâtuʼl-Kafiye treatise, which is the subject of our study, is one of the works that lived this fate. In the study, first of all, the author of the treatise was determined. Afterwards, it was determined that there are eight copies of the treatise in the libraries of Kuwait, Egypt and Turkey. Four of these copies, which are the oldest in terms of date, were determined and the study was verified on the basis of these copies. In the examination, the oldest known copy of the treatise, which was copied in 1021/1612, which is in the Kılıç Ali Pasha Collection, was taken as the basis. Since there have been many studies on the life, works and views of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani, the author of the treatise, this subject has not been dwelled upon much. The main purpose of the study is to raise the issue that there are many unearthed manuscripts belonging to both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and other Khalveti sheikhs who lived in Azerbaijan. Another aim of these is to learn Shirvani's style in the only Arab work identified as his own. One of the most important branches of the work carried out by both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and his caliphs was the works they wrote. There are many works that describe the principles of the Khalvetiyye sect in Arabic, Turkish and Persian, either by Sayyid Yahya or by other Azerbaijani Khalveti sheikhs. However, among these works, only those belonging to Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī were studied, and no detailed examination was made about other works. It is quite difficult to reveal anything new about the works of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani. Because until today, there have been a great number of scientific studies in the form of books, papers, articles and symposiums about the life, works and caliphs of the ʽPîr-i Sanîʼ of the Khalvetiyye sect. However, as far as we can see, the author's treatise named al-İkhtiyârât, which is the subject of our study, has escaped the attention of researchers. Therefore, it has been concluded that the analysis of the only Arabic epistle known to belong to the author is important. Thanks to this treatise, we will have the opportunity to learn the method that Sayyid Yahya Şirvânî used in writing Arabic works. Another significance of the treatise is that it strengthens the possibility that works still exist in the case of a new manuscript belonging to Sayyid Yahya. Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī does not use his own name in any of his works as a method. This tradition was continued by the Azerbaijani Khalveti sheikhs. However, this method, which stems from the sense of humility, caused the authors of many of the works belonging to these sheikhs to be confused in the later periods. The most striking example of this is the work of Beyânuʼl-Esrâr. This work has been attributed to seven different authors. There is no author's name in the copies of the al-Ikhtiyârât treatise, which is the subject of our study. The only exception is the Egyptian copy. In the introductory part of the copy, the scribe also included the names of the authors of the treatises in the journal he copied. In this study, an unknown Arabic treatise of Sayyid Yahya Shirvani, who operated in Azerbaijan and influenced almost the entire Islamic World through his works and successors, is the subject of the research. The pamphlet, which is divided into three chapters under the title of truth, together with the sharia with the sublimity of the enthusiasm, the secrets of the sect and the observance together with the gracefulness of the pleasures, has been analyzed and translated on the basis of different copies. The main purpose of the study is to reveal one of the many Arabic sources of Azerbaijani Sufism, and to reveal the possibility that there may still be different works belonging to Sayyid Yahya Shirvani. Another aim of ours is to learn the Arabic style that Seyyid Yahya Shirvanī uses in his works, albeit partially. We hope that archival research in different manuscript libraries around the world will reveal the works of both Sayyid Yahya Shirvanī and other Azerbaijani Sufis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Halo nevi (leukoderma acquisitum centrifugum, Sutton’s nevus, leukopigmentary nevus, perinevoid vitiligo or perinevoid leukoderma) are melanocytic nevi surrounded by a halo of hypopigmentation or depigmentation. They are significantly more common in children and young people, with a peak incidence at the age of 15, withoutgender or racial predilection. The usual clinical course of a halo nevus involves gradual involution and subsequent complete regression of a centrally placed nevus that leaves behind an area of depigmentation. Typical halo nevi do not require treatment. Exceptionally, halo nevi develop from dysplastic nevi and malignant neoplasms of the skin (halo phenomenon). The paper presents a 12-year-old boy with changes in nevi on his back. During the last summer, a pale band developed around two nevi. The nevi became lighter and shrank. One of them has completely disappeared. Apart from basal cell carcinoma in the father, the presence of other atypical nevi, melanoma, vitiligo and autoimmune diseases in the personal and family anamnesis was not established. A typical halo nevus is diagnosed by clinical and dermatological examination and regular dermatological monitoring is advised. Halo nevi mostly develop from an acquired melanocytic nevus, but can be seen in dysplastic nevi, basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma. A thorough medical history, careful clinical and dermatological examination make it possible to identify atypical halo nevi that require a biopsy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The objective of this paper is to explore the role of urban codes in the transformation processes of the ordinary city. By focusing on the case study of the City of Turin, the article investigates the relationship between the regulatory system and urban form through the "window" element, providing suggestions for acting on building planning and regulation tools. In particular, the object of the research is the set of rules relating to the performance of buildings with respect to the supply of daylight and its implementation with the environmental regulation system. The paper proposes an integration to the Building Regulations, with the aim of reorienting the use of rules both as control tools during the project (and not exclusively as ex post verification), and as devices capable of enabling ordinary transformations of the city. - Abstract
There are rules that provide shared information with the aim of guiding the behaviour of individuals or the community regarding spaces, processes and products. Therefore, the goal is to start a normalisation and standardisation procedure, which allows to solve a specific problem. With regard to the culture and practice of accessibility of spaces and environments, the reference legislation (Law 13/89, Presidential Decree 24 July 1996, n. 503, ISO 21541:2021, Ministerial Decree 236/89, UNI 17210:2021) is not only rather obsolete, but also excludes a large part of potential users. This paper aims to open a debate on the current operational tools in order to evaluate and design an inclusive context, proposing a new, more performing and universal one. The culture of accessibility is not only the scrupulous and scientific observance of the rules. It also means combining both quantitative and qualitative needs; therefore, providing environmental well-being. Thanks to the critical description of reference or experimental evaluation or design tools (HCD participatory methodologies for the definition of needs analyses, Quality Function Deployment for the tracking of technical specifications, ICF with a focus on UNI activities, laws, decrees and regulations to observe the Rule), this paper describes some projects that attempted to go beyond the rule, providing an inclusive context and space to meet people's actual needs. Therefore, putting some operational tools into functional synergy (Rules, Inclusive Methodologies, ICF, QFD) to define a new multi-criteria tool can be an excellent starting point to develop, for each specific environmental context, a list of expectations that are important for planning and evaluation. - Abstract
Methods of evaluation of interlaboratory comparison results are prescribed by ISO standards. Ruler is probably one of the most widely used length measuring instrument in the world. For laboratories that plan to be accredited for the calibration of Ruler, the acquisition of a specialized Measuring bench is not economically feasible. Confidence in the measured result depends on the measurement uncertainty, and where deficiencies are observed, the values that contribute to the measurement uncertainty should be investigated. This paper describes an interlaboratory comparison for a small number of laboratories on the example of a Measuring bench for calibrating Ruler and indicates the procedure for problem identification; diagnosis of causes; consideration of solutions; initiation of action for improvement and monitoring of the results of applied solutions. The authors documented the problem and listed the elements that contributed to "Unsatisfactory" result in interlaboratory comparisons. They described the actions they took to overcome the "Unsatisfactory" result, analyzed whether the proposed solutions led to "Satisfactory" result and took actions accordingly. The paper presents the results of the international interlaboratory comparison, which are a confirmation of the competence of the personnel, measuring calibration equipment and calibration method. In order to avoid complex processes of changes, or weathering (decay) of freshwater limestones embedded in numerous buildings and/or monuments due to interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors), builders have always tried to avoid construction (internal) factors, such as the selection of stone, the method and (often too small) depth of its extraction from the deposit for the construction of significant buildings, insufficient aging (storage) after extraction, improper installation (stacking) of stone in relation to its position in the deposit, as well as mistakes in stone processing and execution, in addition to inadequate maintenance. This paper presents the complex processes of changes, or weathering (decay) of freshwater limestones embedded in buildings and monuments as a result of its interaction with various environmental conditions (external factors), such as: the effects of temperature, humidity and quality of air, winds, precipitation, acidic rain, exhaust gases, micro-particles and organisms in the air and water, harmful salts, radiation, soil, biological colonization, along with the destructive action of man. In this process, the aesthetic deterioration of the stone surface is only a secondary problem compared to the destruction of its structure. The consideration must certainly include the pollution flows and the environment, and meteorological and microclimatic conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BUILDING stones - Abstract
Deposits of dimension stone (hereinafter: DS) are mostly of heterogeneous composition and non-uniform properties. For the purpose of exploring the DS deposit, it is necessary to perform certain mining work in order to collect data for the determination of: existence, position and shape of the bed, quantity and quality, and the conditions for exploitation of DS. The position and shape of the deposit have a crucial influence on DS exploitation conditions. Discontinuities of different positions, dimensions and shapes were formed as a result of dynamic and chemical processes in the rocks. The exploitation of DS from the deposit is performed by obtaining as geometrically regular and as large in size blocks as possible. The DS exploitation should be harmonized with the position and shape of the deposit as well as discontinuities for the purpose of obtaining the highest possible exploitation of stone. However, a special requirement of construction is to obtain the DS, primarily of uniform appearance and other properties. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize mining works for the purpose of obtaining and installing DS of a uniform appearance, as described and shown on several examples in this paper. CARBON dioxide mitigation - Abstract
Clean Energy for All Europeans, Green Deal and Fit for 55 at European level and the Piano Nazionale Integrato per l'Energia e il Clima have identified essential decarbonisation goals that are achievable by broadening the audience of actors involved and the ability to innovate in terms of the evolution of products/services and production processes. In this sense, decentralised energy production technologies together with Renewable Energy Communities (RECs) and bottomup initiatives play a strategic role in the establishment of local energy systems. The objective of the paper is to illustrate these dynamisms within the territorial system, and the characteristics of local initiatives and RECs as means of energy transition and economic development. - Abstract
The paper reflects possible "transition" strategies for the industrialised residential building stock considering its systemic nature and current technological availability, with particular reference to digital technologies. Screening of some research on housing in the context of ecological and digital transition is proposed, starting from a critical review of interventions over the past decades, which reveal a fragmented framework of punctual solutions that cannot be codified as organic and replicable strategies. This highlights the research world's focus on broader holistic approaches that look at energy transition as closely related to the transition of the entire building organism and the inhabiting community. - Abstract
Recent developments in medical education have created increasing challenges for medical teachers which is why the majority of German medical schools already offer educational and instructional skills trainings for their teaching staff. However, to date no framework for educational core competencies for medical teachers exists that might serve as guidance for the qualification of the teaching faculty. Against the background of the discussion about competency based medical education and based upon the international literature, the GMA Committee for Faculty and Organizational Development in Teaching developed a model of core teachingcompetencies for medical teachers. This framework is designed not only to provide guidance with regard to individual qualification profiles but also to support further advancement of the content, training formats and evaluation of faculty development initiatives and thus, to establish uniform quality criteria for such initiatives in German-speaking medical schools. The model comprises a framework of six competency fields, subdivided into competency components and learning objectives. Additional examples of their use in medical teaching scenarios illustrate and clarify each specific teaching competency. The model has been designed for routine application in medical schools and is thought to be complemented consecutively by additional competencies for teachers with special duties and responsibilities in a future step. Jewish heritage tourism is a relatively new form of niche tourism which appeared in Europe in the 1990s, because of a renewed understanding of cultural and historical values of Jewish heritage. By its inclusion in tourism, Jewish heritage has become a visible component in destinations, which has led to the renovation of synagogues, opening of Jewish museums, organization of festivals, and also to the gentrification of neglected Jewish quarters in many European cities. The goal of this paper is to analyse the most common methods, selection of stakeholders, elements, research locations and spatial scope used in studies of Jewish heritage tourism. The analysis includes 28 scientific papers from databases and focuses on the research methods used in those papers. The results show that the most common methods used in studies of Jewish heritage tourism are content analysis and interviews. These methods have proven to be suitable for determining the state and representation of Jewish heritage in each destination, while for a higher level of integration of Jewish heritage in tourism, other methods are more appropriate. ECOTOURISM , *STANDARD of living , *COMMUNITIES , *SATISFACTION , *TOURISM research , *SUSTAINABILITY - Abstract
Nature-based tourism is a type of tourism that is primarily concerned with the direct enjoyment of relatively undisturbed natural phenomena. Today, it is among the types of tourism which are characterised by significant growth rates at the global level. It has considerable growth potential and its development can concurrently ensure tourist satisfaction with the nature experience, profit for tourism providers, funds for environmental protection and an improvement in living standards in local communities. Nevertheless, it is also important to be aware of the potential negative implications of nature-based tourism development and to continuously manage all aspects of sustainability. This paper aims to determine the main study aspects of nature-based tourism, the most common methodological approaches and the most important characteristics of its contemporary development. For this purpose, an analysis of recent empirical research on nature-based tourism was conducted, and a total of 41 original scientific papers were included in the analysis. The four study aspects derived from this analysis contribute to determining the general characteristics of nature-based tourism's contemporary development, the prerequisite factors for this development, and the effects it has on a given area. ENERGY storage - Abstract
This paper examines the technical and economic sustainability aspects of energy transition on two different scales. On the one hand, it investigates the topic of RES in the national energy system, describing structure, limits and possibilities. On the other hand, it presents the energy requalification case study of a small public building as an exemplary case of a systemic approach that adopts extraordinary solutions in terms of design process. The aim of the paper is to propose a methodological approach to improve site potential, assuming that short-term strategies must necessarily involve all the actors (including end-users) through local energy storage systems. The concept of quaternary prevention was integrated in 1999. into the international WONCA vocabulary as actions taken to identify patients at risk of overprescribing drugs and diagnostic procedures that would do them more harm than good. The aim was to determine the place and role of quaternary prevention in primary care. The papers published until 31.12.2022. have been analyzed. We searched Medline, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Scopus, Google Scholar, Science Direct, Mendeley, Serbian medical journals, books, strategies, and doctoral theses. The terms we used were: quaternary prevention, general medicine, overmedication, and diagnostic procedures. We restricted ourselves to works written in Serbian, English, and Croatian. Search has been performed from 01.09.2022. to 31.12.2022. Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review (PRISMA) scale parts were used to determine the validity of the papers collected. A total of 1899 papers were identified. We did not find metaanalyses, systematic literature reviews, and randomized studies. A total of 194 were analyzed. Highlighted as relevant 36. Quaternary prevention in primary care refers to the overuse of radiological and laboratory examinations, antibiotics, screening, individual patient access, good communication, reliance on evidencebased medicine, the workload in teams of selected doctors, and prompt consent to patient requests. Some sick patients are undiagnosed, concerned about their health, with functional problems, psychosomatic disorders, and unusual behavior during illness. Quaternary prevention has a place in breast and prostate cancer screening, immunization, mental health and osteoporosis drug marketing, hypertension, prediabetes, and dyslipidemia, a private health insurance program, and the use of highresolution diagnostic technology. The most powerful way to avoid unnecessary medical procedures is to consistently apply evidencebased medicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Calls for tenders published since 2001 under Law no. 338/00 have been characterised over the years by a gradual reduction in the standards and functional areas prescribed. This contraction, strongly accentuated by the decrees recently issued to reach 7,500 accommodation places by 2022 and 60,000 by 2026, risks undermining the virtuousness of the law by focusing primarily on economic and managerial aspects rather than on the quality of student housing and education. By collecting and processing unique data in terms of number and originality, this paper analyses and systematises the e(in)volution of the legal framework by comparing it with over 350 projects and constructions of university residences co-financed under the above-mentioned calls. - Abstract
Public administrations, called upon to integrate the principles and criteria of Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) and Environmental Socia, Governance (ESG) in the planning, design and production of their investments, now find themselves operating within new decision-making scenerios and models, in the very broad framework of standards, including specialised ones, certification protocols and framework levels for sustainability assessment and reporting. This paper reports on a research experience aimed at defining tools and guidelines to incentivise and assess the environmental and social quality of projects and works (a collaboration between Agenzia del Demanio and Politecnico di Milano). It documents the challenges, limits and opportunities arising from overlapping compulsory regulations, standards and voluntary certification protocols for the qualification of public works. Against the backdrop of the complex healthcare design process and the absence of national regulations on the functional and spatial organisation of healthcare facilities, this paper discusses the Swedish use of non-regulatory Concept Programmes, i.e. orientation tools for the conceptual stages of design conceived to facilitate the systematic transfer of knowledge from research and best practices to the design practice. A comparison is also made with the design approach and the norm in the Italian context, stimulating a two-fold debate on: the tools and methods needed to guide the design of primary care facilities; the process that should lead to the definition of such tools. This paper reflects on the results of the recent technical policy for energy requalification in Italy, focusing on both the European objectives of decarbonisation, circularity and industrialisation of the sector, and the size and characteristics of demand. Starting from the comparison between the two main models of efficiency of the public and private building stock, based respectively on the Minimum Environmental Criteria and the Superbonus, the study examines the effectiveness and limitations of the measures for private construction, which constitutes the majority share of the entire Italian building stock. The study identifies the Energiesprong model as a possible way to improve the management and quality of energy requalification interventions capable of expanding their effectiveness beyond the environmental point of view. - Abstract
Even today we are faced with a social demand for safer urban spaces. Composition, functional features and management of such spaces are the principles behind a quality and, therefore, safe urban project. However, the orientation to safety and, therefore, to the prevention of those places requires great attention to the structure, organisation and methods of use. The "environmental design" is the perspective, and the application of UNI CEN/TS 14383-2:2023 goes in this direction. A useful tool for the project, this paper highlights the dual function of the Technical Specification, both as a 'guide' during the design phase, and as a tool for the 'verification' of the project's final result. - Abstract
In this paper we will describe the former boundaries of the cadastral municipalities in the Slovenian-Italian cross-border area between the Socerb castle and the Rosandra valley. Today, the villages of Socerb and Beka are located on the Slovenian side of the border, and Mačkolje (Caresana), Prebeneg (Prebenico), Dolina (San Dorlingo della Valle), Boljunec (Bagnoli della Rosandra), Kroglje (Crogole), Gornji Konec (Bagnoli Superiore) and Botač (Bottazzo) on the Italian side. At the time of the Franciscan cadastral survey in this area (from 1818 to 1822), i.e., at the time of the Austrian Empire, these villages, except for Mačkolje, belonged to the district of Fünfenberg, which was part of the province of Istria. Therefore, the same type of cadastral municipality boundary marks from the Franciscan or a revised cadastral survey can be found here as elsewhere in the present-day territory of Slovenia. In addition to the twelve boundary stones with inscriptions, we will also present two natural boundary marks: inscriptions carved on the entrance walls of a cave and inscriptions carved on the smooth rock wall. We will also show that the boundary stones in the Primorska region, which have the same shape as the former cadastral municipality boundary stones, could also have once marked former common lands of agrarian communities, here called jusi, and these were not always the same as the cadastral municipality boundaries. AIR pollution , *PUBLIC health , *AWARENESS - Abstract
Air pollution has become a major global concern with profound implications for public health worldwide. Among the most significant air pollutants are particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, heavy metals, and ammonia, which have serious and wide-ranging effects on human health. Respiratory diseases, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and pneumonia, are frequently associated with air pollution, while the risk of developing other serious conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular problems is also elevated. Of particular concern is the exposure of children to air pollution, as their immune systems are not fully developed, and they spend more time outdoors, where pollution concentrations are often higher. In Serbia, as in many other countries, integrated intersectoral measures are necessary to reduce air pollution and protect the health of citizens. This paper aims to provide a basic overview of air pollution issues in Serbia and explore control and measurement measures to better understand the fundamental concepts and make progress in addressing this serious problem. COLLECTIVE representation , *SOCIAL disabilities , *SOCIAL dynamics , *SOCIAL interaction , *PEOPLE with disabilities - Abstract
This paper aims to describe and problematize the different models and approaches that attempt to understand disability throughout current history. People elaborate on these through their interactions as social subjects. In this sense, social representations about these models can maintain their validity, with greater or lesser legitimacy. Based on a qualitative review, we analyze the characteristics of the leading models and approaches proposed by various authors in the last two decades, linking them with social representations as discursive production and with the social practices of a given context that is simultaneously constructed. We conclude that this critical review leads to a rethink of social representations, professional practices, and discursive crossings from the different models and approaches to disability. Finally, we reflect on how, when presented as hegemonic and totalizing representations, models can deprive the subject with a disability of agency, preventing him/her/them from critically reflecting, rethinking, and re-presenting him/her/them, as well as from making decisions based on his/her subjectivity expressed in everyday life. SELF-organizing maps - Abstract
Sampling processes in mineral exploration often result in preferentially sampled areas, with the formation of clustering. Some factors can cause areas to be preferentially sampled, accessibility conditions, attribute values, and the sampling strategy. Clustering impacts statistical inference of area. The objective of the present paper is to propose a new approach to declustering methods using Kohonen network, Self-Organizing Maps (SOM). SOM are a type of artificial neural network used for unsupervised classification. The methodology assigns each sample a weight to calculate the declustered mean. The assignment of weight to each sample in an area is inversely proportional to the densely sampled in area. The declustered mean is given by the sum of the weight multiplication with the attribute value of each sample. Therefore, the logic of assigning weights is similar to Cell Declustering method, but the delimitation of the densified areas is different. SOM identifies areas with non-linear margins, unlike the Cell Declustering method. A case study is presented, using the Walker Lake data set. The present research is not intended to replace classical declustering methods, but rather to present a new approach to a routine problem in reserve evaluation. Although the mathematics of the applied technique is indeed complex, the results can be promising. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

TRAFFIC accidents , *GEOGRAPHIC information systems - Abstract
Performing spatial analysis based on a correct multifunctional geographically oriented model in the domain of road accident is an important part of the overall transport system management. The aim of the paper is to demonstrate a methodology for using a digital road model, defining optimal parameters for building a road graph and georeferencing occurred events to determine a spatial autocorrelation index of road accidents, entirely using open data. To achieve this goal, the foundation of international standardization laid down in ISO 19100 - Geographic information is used in combination with the method for spatial autocorrelation, extended for a network, practically implemented through the capabilities of the Python programming language as an element of a Geoinformation system of road accidents. Open-source data from the OpenStreetMap geoportal were processed, as well as real archive data for 1,288 serious accidents on the territory of the city of Sofia, Bulgaria, and a spatial autocorrelation coefficient was calculated to determine the dependence or independence of the number of road accidents between individual areas with its accuracy and reliability. The result is the definition of a correct basis for carrying out spatial analysis with the laying of a foundation for the subsequent study of various factors and the definition of a complex of reasons, the establishment of which will lead to a reduction in traffic injuries.
