Leon Trzebiński, born in Poznań on March 14, 1879, was educated to be a printer and worked all his life in the typographic factories of several cities. In 1900, for a short time, he settled in Toruń and joined the printing house of Sylwester Buszczyński. Working in Pomerania as a responsible editor, he signed the issues of "Gazeta Toruńska" (from no. 78 of April 4 to no. 112 of May 16, 1901) and "Przyjaciel" (from no. 42 of April 6 to no. 59 of May 16, 1901). In the subsequent years he was employed in Bochum in Westphalia, Grudziądz, Dortmund and other German cities. After World War I, he managed the printing house in Leszno; later he became the owner of a typographic plant in Rawicz, and just before the outbreak of World War II he bought a printing house in Lida (today's Belarus). After the war, he returned to Greater Poland and was employed in the plants in Jelenia Góra and Wschowa. In the latter town he died on December 9, 1956. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
