Aim: The goal of the research was a characteristic of emotional-social competencies and communicative abilities in a 16-years old patient with ACC and Arnold-Chiari disease and higher than average intelligence., Method: RHLB-PL was applied., Results: Total score in RHLB-PL suggested language and communication impairment. The greatest problems were observed in the field of behavioral self-control and discourse abilities. The patient had difficulties in the topic of the discourse maintaining, resisting from production of unconnected topics and comments, interject inappropriate remarks. Problems in humor comprehension and the dissociation between relative high level of written metaphors analysis abilities and low level of Picture Metaphors perception and explanation were observed. Linguistic Prosody was average., Conclusion: Patient M.J. with agenesis of corpus callosum presented high number of deficits typical in right hemisphere damage patients. It is possible to explain that fact in the context of interhemispheric transfer disorders, specially when complex material was processed.

Unlabelled: Disorders in writing in brain damaged patients can be the result of not only organic pathology but also emotional response to the disease. A disclosure of disorders connected with emotions can be indication to use the different form of psychotherapy, also expressive writing, that often help the patient to overcome his emotional problems. THE AIM OF THE STUDY is to analyze changes in brain damaged patients' writing in the situation of projective test performance that insist the patient to confrontation with negative emotions related to the disease and reveal his attitude towards the disease., Material and Methods: Fifty brain damaged patients were examined. The patients wrote in the spontaneous way about the matter not aroused any significant emotions, and next did Sentence Completion Test by Sacks and Levy. In the result organic errors and inaccuracies in writing, and also the tendency to omit answers to the emotionally difficult questions, disorders of attention and movement disorders were searched for., Results: Organic writing disorders were detected in 30 patients, inaccuracies in 35, the tendency to omit emotionally difficult questions in 25, disorders of attentions in 25, and movement disorders in 40 ones. In the Sentence Completion Test inaccuracies did significantly more patients than in writing about a neutral theme. Inaccuracies were also correlated with tendency to omit emotionally difficult questions. Organic errors in writing were related to the disorders of attention, movement disorders and patients' age., Conclusions: 50% of patients do not reveal negative emotions related to the disease. The necessity of confrontation with negative emotions promotes inaccuracies in writing in more patients than in writing about neutral theme. Organic errors in writing are connected with disorders of attention, movement disorders and patients' age.

Distributions of associational responses--to four emotionally neutral stimulus words--obtained from schizophrenic people and sane ones were compared. Significant differences in some content categories were discovered.

Here is described a case of a patient suffering from cerebral hemorrhage resulting in the perforation of the third cerebral ventricle and massive damage of the frontal lobes in consequence of the rupture of an intracranial aneurysm. After neurosurgical operation the patient's general state improved, but in spite of this he displayed symptoms of the frontal syndrome with many symptoms in the area of abstractional thinking and reflectiveness and a significant reduction of higher emotionality. Very interesting in this case is the neurolinguistic symptomatology. The rehabilitation and pharmacotherapy was very successful. This case is very interesting because it contains many of the symptoms called "frontal syndrome". It is also important to show the role of the frontal lobes in the integral process of mental life and in the role of the left hemisphere in the gnostic and coordinative processes of speech and other higher functions of the central nervous system.
