Właściwe współdziałanie, czyli planowanie akcji gaśniczej i jej przeprowadzanie, wymaga pokonania barier w akcie komunikacji. W celu pełnego porozumienia w akcie komunikacji w sytuacji kryzysowej istotne jest zwrócenie szczególnej uwagi na zjawisko ekwiwalencji międzyjęzykowej., In the first part of the article the authoress draws attention to specific characteristics of communication on borderland and emphasizes that we are dealing with two communication communities, different in terms of culture, nation and society, which aim to reach agreement in the act of communication. In an act of cross-border communication there are two communication situations: (a) emergency response and (b) improvisation of emergency response action for educational purposes, in which communication barriers are inter alia: lack of language knowledge and sound barriers (noise, machinę work, etc.). Appropriate interaction, plan of fire fighting and its execution reąuires overcoming of barriers in the act of communication. The authoress notes that on the Czech-Polish borderland communication is proceeding accordingly to two models: specialist - specialist and specialist - non-specialist. For communication to be successful, it must be performed in standard language with only necessary elements of specialist language (mostly formal terms). Proper selection of linguistic units is important here. In order to completely understand each other in the act of communication in a crisis situation important is to pay particular attention to the phenomenon of interlanguage equivalence.
