Abstract

This paper clarifies relations between language and work from both Lukács and Rossi-Landi theories to methodologically construct the relations between work and discourse in the Political Economy of Communication subfield. There is a theoretical confusion in research works that equate what Rossi-Landi calls "linguistic work" with "non-linguistic work" because they do not correctly interpret the homology concept used by the author and/or do not consider the ontology of social being constructed by Lukács. To clarify these mistakes, I made a small digression on the subject from the writings of Lukács to then correct mistakes in the theoretical texts analyzed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
