The article presents a study on the history of Brazil and its natural ecosystems. It begins by taking a look at Brazilian society as it was during the 1500's when the indigenous people engaged in agricultural activities. Over time, nations decided to work together to fix the environmental crises that were occurring and to protect biological diversity. The article details the development of agricultural policies which would protect international interests concerning biodiversity and the preservation of forests.
