- Abstract
In recent years there has been a growing demand for graduates of higher education for the public service, including graduates in Management. Because of the relevance of this professional to organizations and to society, is capital to concern to know which are as of professional activities are chosen by the students. This study aim to explore the professional expectations of management students from the perspective of Schein's career anchors. The study is a descriptive and explanatory one and was done through survey with 108 respondents. The working hypothesis is that students have the public service as a professional expectation to complete the degree in management. The results are emblematic, since the hypothesis was confirmed and evidences indicates that management students present as last anchors the "Managerial Competence" and "Entrepreneurial Creativity", more related to the management job.
