Introduction: The current COVID-19 pandemic had its first reported cases in December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei province, China. COVID-19's pandemic status was recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. COVID-19 is a respiratory disease resulting from the infection caused by the new coronavirus. Most cases of infection are not serious, but some infected individuals require hospitalization and intensive care. Objective: To describe the clinical and epidemiological profile of patients admitted to the ICU-Covid-19 of Hospital Júlio Müller, Cuiabá-MT, from April to November 2020. Methodology: This is a retrospective, observational and descriptive study, carried out from the collection of information from medical records of patients admitted to the ICU COVID-19. Results: The sample of 99 patients corresponds to 51% male and 49% female, aged between 18 and 104 years, with a mean age of 49.5 years. Of these, 33% do not have any adjuvant disease; 67% have preexisting diseases, with 58% being cardiovascular diseases. As for ventilatory devices on admission of patients, 35% used invasive ventilatory support and 65% used spontaneous ventilation. Regarding the patients' outcome, 30% progressed to death, 69% progressed to ICU discharge and 1% was transferred from a hospital unit. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
