Objective: To reflect on the resignification of nursing care, based on the pillars ontological, epistemological and methodological. Methods: This is a reflective theoretical essay, which turns to knowledge about nursing care from an integral perspective, from the different dimensions that constitute it. Results: Nursing care, with regard to the ontological pillar, refers to care as inherent to the human condition; with regard to epistemology, it focuses on the specific knowledge carried out by nurses and, in relation to methodology, it refers to praxis, that is, the articulation between theory and practice, encompassing nursing education, teaching-learning to care. Conclusion: Thinking about this issue becomes, therefore, the initial step for nurses to recognize the ethos of their profession, to value it even more and have the relevant subsidies to support the struggles for better working conditions for Nursing. This paper aims to present the universals properties of the Archives, thought of as an archival institution, based on a priori philosophical reflection, to establish fundaments to determinate the graduation of these properties - and their maximum level, at the Paradigmatic Archive - and to confirm these properties through the forms observed in the General Archive of the Indies, that displays them to some degree. With that, the aim is to build a model for the Archives, determining how they should be. The interdisciplinary approach, between ontology and archivology, was adopted, integrating the method of philosophical reflection with documentary research procedures, based on pieces of fonds from the General Archive of the Indies, collection of images of the author and sources. The discussion addresses aspects of practices, forms and functions, which indicate the essence of the Archives and their path towards their paradigmatic ideality. The General Archive of the Indies is presented as a particular example that exemplifies these essential properties. Our conclusion is that there are certain essential universal properties of Archives, or archival institutions, which are: accessibility, durability and practicality. In addition, the proposed model is applicable for the institutionalization of Archives and also for the construction, reforms, implantations, the creation of new spaces, adaptations, restructuring in buildings and institutional uses of the Archive. KNOWLEDGE representation (Information theory) , *INTERNET in public administration , *MUNICIPAL services , *PUBLIC institutions , *ONTOLOGIES (Information retrieval) - Abstract
According to the importance assigned to public services, improvements have been sought in knowledge representation in the domain of Electronic Government (eGov). Academic and governmental initiatives seek consensus on processes and entities that compound a government institution. The approach through ontologies allows us to define, in a well-grounded fashion, entities in domains of knowledge. Ontologies are adopted worldwide and appear in two connotations: ontology as a discipline brings together philosophical practices discussed over 2,000 years in Metaphysics; ontology as an artifact studies representation artifacts inherited from Librarianship practices, with the difference that, since ontologies are computer-oriented, they are not suitable for encompassing social, cultural and historical aspects. To understand the theoretical foundation that involves ontologies and eGov, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) was planned and performed as part of ongoing research. The purpose of this article is to portray such an SRL, revealing state of the art on ontologies for eGov in the development of ontological representation artifacts. Hundreds of works were identified, among which a portion was separated by criteria and analyzed. We concluded that there is a reasonable number of eGov ontological models, which have been identified and listed for reuse, in addition to the need for national initiatives in the same direction. ONTOLOGIES (Information retrieval) , *LOGIC , *FRICTION , *INTENTION , *PLURALISM , *SPIRITUALITY - Abstract
I briefly analyze the links between the current process of ethnic reorganization between the Ranquel people of La Pampa (Argentina) and the intention shared by most of the Ranqueles with whom I work of recovering their "spirituality." I state that there is not a unique way of understanding that "spirituality" and practicing it. Confronted with this ethnographic reality, which is multiple, fragmentary and permeated by various logics, I explore in this text the potential of an analytical approach that focuses on some of these divergences within the Ranquel movement considering them as ontological frictions that arise from different ways of composing the world. Finally, I conclude that taking into account the particularities of ethnographic contexts such as the Ranquel one --which differs widely from those that gave rise to the anthropological theorization of ontologies-- may lead us to partially modify the mainstream theories of the so-called "Ontological Turn.". CLAV Platform: a contribution to provide access to Portuguese Public Administration open data Keywords: Public Administration, archives, macro appraisal, functional classification, open data, ontology, CLAV Platform This presentation aims to specify CLAV's requirements, its modeling process and to exploit its data at an Open Administration context; it also aims to present the platform's main features and to reveal how it will promote public administration open data access. The presentation begins with an introduction to European and Portuguese strategies and policies to provide access to open data, regarding open science and public administration, as well as the current digital transformation policies. Such policies tend to promote semantic interoperability and archival information management, with special focus on classification and appraisal, supported by a new legal framework. Among other initiatives, the Portuguese coordination agency for the archival policy has developed a classification and appraisal framework, based on a public administration functional classification and business process list. CLAV is an ontology based electronic platform, developed to implement the use of that business process list, in order to support the creation of business activity structure classification schemes and retention schedules to integrate the organizational information management systems. The data hosted and managed by CLAV is meant to reach a diverse public and will be available in CSV, RDF, OWL, SKOS and XML, through a data API (Application Programming Interface) at Portuguese electronic data dissemination and exchange platforms such as Dados.gov and the e Portugal Portal, the former Portal do Cidadão. CLAV will also be referenced at the European Commission Joinup catalog, a collaborative platform within the ISA2 Programme - Interoperability solutions for public administrations, businesses and citizens. The presentation specifies also the importance of the data made available through CLAV to the implementation of General Data Protection Regulation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

GROUNDED theory , *ECLECTICISM , *THEORY-practice relationship , *THEORY of knowledge , *POSSIBILITY , *ONTOLOGIES (Information retrieval) - Abstract
This essay seeks to contribute to the understanding of Nicolini's proposal on the approach to practices, focusing mainly on his book "Practice Theory, Work, and Organization" (2012). To that end, the following question was presented: What is Davide Nicolini's proposal? It should be noted that Nicolini is not interested in proposing a new theory of practice since his proposal provides a plurality of sensitizing concepts belonging to different ontologies, epistemologies and methodologies that have similarities between them forming a "programmatic eclecticism". It is perceived that the author provides the bases and orientations for a theory founded that can be constructed from the practical, from the empirical, thus remaining coherent with the ethos, with the logic of "practice", breaking with the dichotomies of traditional approaches, constituting a flat and relational ontology. In this sense, this work emphasizes Grounded Theory as a methodological possibility to be used in the study of practices. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
