This article aims to analyze how the new types of work and the unprecedented ways of hiring labor that characterize the fourth industrial revolution are grounded in fertile ground for the practice of social dumping, precarious labor relations, triggering unfair competition. in the business scenario and, finally, how this practice can be combated in national territory. As a research methodology, the deductive method was chosen, through documentary, bibliographic and jurisprudential consultation. Initially, it was necessary to approach social dumping; then, social dumping was worked on in the context of the fourth industrial revolution; finally, we analyzed the instruments that actually exist in the Brazilian legal system to combat such harmful practices in our country. It was concluded that the Brazilian system has powerful instruments to combat social dumping, such as the Public Civil Action, in addition to the Public Civil Inquiry and the Conduct Adjustment Term. Undoubtedly important is the analysis of State intervention as a remedy for excluding globalization. Globalization, created with the impetus to unify nations, brought with it several evils, such as unfair competition, intensification of extreme poverty, accumulated wealth, mass education, discrimination in all possible ways of thinking, among others ills. Having greater prominence in the modern world, social inequalities constitute world debates and state pressure, strengthen alliances and remove true partnerships, always seeking the satisfactory enjoyment of their conquests, even if this results in the economic and vital insufficiency of the neighboring country. It is necessary to start by studying the conceptual and historical aspects of globalization and social inequalities, seeking to interact with its instruments and objectives. After that, it becomes essential to briefly analyze the capitalist system, globalization and its consequences, most of the time covered by the discourse of economic freedom and free enterprise. Finally, it is possible to analyze that the remedy for excluding globalization is State intervention, mainly through internal policies to improve education and technology, placing the country in a competitive position and respect for others. The research covered refers to the hypothetical-deductive method, as it starts from the general rule for the specific case, also using the auxiliary comparative and historical methods. Bibliographic techniques are used, and qualitative research is adept, as it seeks to deepen the theme in order to analyze state intervention in the current globalized world, with an emphasis on minimum protection of the dignity of the human person. Directive 2014/104/EU, of the European Parliament and Council of 26 November 2014, related to damages claims derived from competition law infringements was transposed into Portuguese legislation through Law 23/2018 of 5 June 2018, marking the incorporation of a specific legal framework in this jurisdiction for these judicial claims. It is also an important new instrument in terms of the awareness of competition policy. The new legal framework offers legal certainty, particularly for all those potentially damaged by competition law infringements, also providing significant incentives for harmed parties to seek compensation in a swifter manner. Furthermore, Law 23/2018 focuses on certain innovative aspects in relation to the common civil framework, such as: the exclusive jurisdiction of the Competition Court for these types of judicial claims; it regulates the presumption of the existence of an infringement derived from the competition authorities' decisions; it allows for the use of class actions on the part of consumer protection associations or associations of undertakings; it provides a mitigated framework for the joint liability of co-offenders; and it also includes a method for the disclosure of evidence with some similarities to the Anglo-Saxon discovery model. In this article we intend to specify the modus operandi of an association that promotes Fair Trade, based in Oporto. By analyzing this association's organizational structure, and by analyzing the speeches of its leaders, we aim to account for the interactive dimensions of social relationships within the organization, as well as representations of their players. The analysis model developed leads, initially, to the context of late modernity and global economy, which is characteristic of modern societies, and the emergence of new social movements, whose genesis lies in the context of societal change, and that is the background of the social movements within Fairtrade emerged.
