This article reports the resistance of women sculptors in the Caatinga biome, who fight against misogyny, with their work tensioned in feminism and sustainability, describing the importance of the chainsaw in the creative processes of wood carving through the collection of dead trees, while environmental activism. It reveals the importance of the chest frown, sign of São Francisco, as contemporary art and discourse in favor of feminism. This research aims to generate references in the practice of sculptures made by women and teaching materials, for Tridimensional researchers. The theoretical framework of Donna Haraway establishes a reflection on achieving gender equality in sculpture, the researcher Elisabet Moreira (2006) and the artist Frans Krajcberg (2008) are also brought in, with the aim of promoting dialogues in relation to sculptures, feminism and the sustainability in favor of social transformation.
