This article reports the resistance of women sculptors in the Caatinga biome, who fight against misogyny, with their work tensioned in feminism and sustainability, describing the importance of the chainsaw in the creative processes of wood carving through the collection of dead trees, while environmental activism. It reveals the importance of the chest frown, sign of São Francisco, as contemporary art and discourse in favor of feminism. This research aims to generate references in the practice of sculptures made by women and teaching materials, for Tridimensional researchers. The theoretical framework of Donna Haraway establishes a reflection on achieving gender equality in sculpture, the researcher Elisabet Moreira (2006) and the artist Frans Krajcberg (2008) are also brought in, with the aim of promoting dialogues in relation to sculptures, feminism and the sustainability in favor of social transformation. The objective of the present work was to evaluate the rooting potential of blackberry shoots, influenced by indolylbutyric acid. For the test, blackberry shoots of approximately 10 cm in length with different diameters, obtained in the second fortnigh to February 2018 wereused. The experimental design was a randomized block design, with the blackberry saplings were treated with AIB (indolylbutyricacid) atfive concentrations, which correspondto 0, 10, 20, 50 and 100 mg L-1. Each treatment contained four replicates, and each replicate was composed of 20 sprouts of blackberry. At theend of 87 day sof cultivation, shoots were evaluated for percentage of live and rooted shoots, dead and not rooted live, root volume (mm³), specific surface area (mm²), total root length (mm), weighted diameter of roots (mm) and, fresh and dry root pasta (g). It was concluded that there was no effect of indolylbutyric acid concentrations on percentage of viable, non -- viableanddead blackberry shoots for total root lengthand for fresh mass and drymass, and with the increase of IBA concentrations the decrease for the variables of volume, specific surface area and weighted root diameter. Murici-bravo is one of the fruit species found in the Cerrado domain composing the Brazilian fruiting flora. There are still few studies on the morphology and anatomy of fruits, and even less when comparing studies of the pyrene and seeds of the genus Byrsonima. The objective of this work was to evaluate morphoanatomically the structure of the pyrene where there are internal chambers which are deposited seeds. X - ray apparatus for HP Faxitron seeds was used applying energy intensities of X - rays (kV) at different times in seconds (s). It was obtained intensity of 26 kV and time of 14 seconds to obtain clear images of the pyrene and seeds, it was still possible to corroborate with information on the quantity of seeds in each pyrene of the species Byrsonima coccolobifolia where it presented (3) chambers, containing seeds full, deformed, dead, and some empty chambers. X - ray analysis provides important data on the morphoanatomy of dense structures such as pyrene and seeds, as well as collaborating with genetic breeding programs, as well as ecological studies and preservation of native species. The quantity and quality of forest timber residues after harvest in a mixed Pinus elliottii and Pinus taeda wood within a 9.87 ha forest enterprise in the state of Paraná, Brazil, are analyzed. The thirty-four 12 m x 12 m plots were distributed in rows 50 m apart from each other. All timber with circumference greater than 10 cm was considered residue. Results show that total residue amounted to 78.03 m? ha-1, or rather, 770.15 m? for total area. The most frequent residue type derived from the height of the base and corresponded to 10.41% of total volume. The most relevant volume derived from declassified trunk residue, with 74.32%. Current study registered that high percentage of residues in plots and per hectare affect directly the operational control of timber volume estimated by the forest inventory and what was actually harvested. It also showed lack of planning and monitoring of quality in forest harvest activities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
