According to Heidegger in his private writings of the 1930s-40s, contemporary humankind has become incapable of experience (Erfahrung). It can relate to beings (Seienden), but it fails to have an authentic experience of Being (Seyn), which acts as the foundation of every possible ontological experience. In this paper, we would like to reconstruct the thesis of an impossibility of experience, as we can find it in the writings from the posthumous legacy, recently published and less studied. Our aim is to show that this historical interpretation, which has exerted so much influence on the philosophy of the 20th century, cannot be interpreted radically nor without limits. If we do so, we take the risk to be left without a phenomenological ground capable of accounting for our experience –in any of its determinations. Heidegger exposes a historical impasse, where the tendency is that we only have experience of beings in its present and effective determination (Wirklichkeit). However, if we accept that it is only from an experience of Being that all other experiences can be considered, then we close our eyes to the first phenomenological fact of the givenness of life –which Heidegger himself defended in his early courses.

This article aims to analyze an experience of dialogue between Rural Education and knowledge about medicinal herbs produced and shared within traditional communities, quilombolas and settlements located in the municipality of Poconé-MT. The methodological contribution that paved the way for the research is anchored in participatory research. This is an experience report, of a descriptive nature, in which data emerged from a research activity carried out by high school students from a rural school. The data collected shows that young people in the countryside recognize the masters of knowledge existing in their communities, who dominate a range of practices and knowledge that, in most cases, do not enter the classroom. We hope that this experience adds to other studies focused on the importance of articulating knowledge from experience to Rural Education, which can point to the strengthening of the identity and culture of traditional communities and indigenous peoples, as well as the feeling of belonging of residents to their territories.

This article presents the results of the master's research, aiming to understand how photography participates in the initial training of teachers at a state university, located in the interior of Bahia. From a qualitative perspective, the descriptive research used the device of Experience Groups (EGs), in which data and information were produced on how the students related to photography in its dimension of production and reception. The data produced in the field were analyzed based on the contributions of philosophical hermeneutics. In view of the massive and automated use of photography today, it is understood that the experience with photography in its dimension of production and reception can be a formative experience in the sense of placing the interpreter in relation with their life stories, offering other horizons of the world capable of updating prejudices towards the construction of inventive/invented existentialities. The text on screen aims to present the analyses carried out from the teaching practices produced during the year 2022 and 2023 with the disciplines of Content and Methodology of Science Teaching, The Child and Mathematical Language and Content and Methodology of Mathematics Teaching that are part of the curricular composition of a course in Pedagogy, in the Northern Region of Brazil. It is part of a qualitative research, based on the Field of Cultural Studies, which allows, as a procedure of analysis and production of data, to act with cultural analysis from an autoethnographic instrument. Through the experiences it was possible to perceive that the paths in initial training are changing, however, by producing experiences and being affected by it, the pedagogical and reflective possibilities are enhanced in this context. In this sense, we argue that creativity and innovation without experience, without the possibility of being affected, is nothing more than the assimilation of information. In such a way, by experiencing and moving in the process of teaching, seeking to learn with, about and from the elements that constitute not only the teaching practice, but our identities, it makes us subjects of experience. For Cultural-Historical Psychology, written language is a complex symbolic system responsible for a significant qualitative leap in the historical development of the human psyche by representing, through very specific signs, the structure of oral language and the organization of thought. Trying to overcome the separation between alphabetization and literacy, within the limits of a cognitive and neuroscientific conception of reading, this article analyzes a field study carried out with preschoolers that were playing during the construction of a forest. During the activity, the children needed to express themselves through written language, like primitive men in their caves. After a brief recall of Alain Savoyant's "scientific journey", his role in passing Leontiev's theory of activity to the French community is underlined. Alain Savoyant developed and enriched this conceptual instrument by distinguishing two key moments of action: elaboration and assimilation. As a pioneer he opened new ways for analyzing the collective dimension in activity at work. Beyond these concerns which were already present in his contribution to the seminar " l'Image opérative " (operative image) dedicated to Ochanine's work, Savoyant dealt with the issue of how experience intervenes in the development of activity and professional competencies. In this essay we talk about environments and agencies and how they are, adversely, in the mainstay of the current idea of transdisciplinarity, multidisciplinarity and transgression in university doing that tends to be disciplinary, monocratic and conservative, because, strictly speaking, the so-called academic requires a conceptualization of knowledge in the simulacrum of having a 'research object'. Thus, we want to emphasize that epistemic practice is colonized and its power is given to those who have power and therefore we dare to walk under labyrinths, in the cracks, between blurs of things not established, sometimes denied but potent in creativity and also imaginative. We start from a proper and appropriate reflexive perspective and tend to present provocations that can contribute to the already well-established discussion of thinking about human and non-human relations. To this end, we review the thought of Tim Ingold, a British anthropologist who has made an important contribution to this discussion in contemporary times. Finally, we highlight essayistic dynamics to think about a relationship between epistemology and the concept of agency, taking as a challenge to reflect on how environments are continually in formation due to the activities of human and non-human creatures; the evolution of form is a situated activity of these beings; and that it is in the entanglements of experience, notes, sketches and imagination that we understand the environment. When it comes to qualifications, based on practical reality, professionals are directly in contact with daily health work. For the development of this study, we opted for a methodological design characterized as descriptive, of the experience report type. Action research is part of this line, as it associates research with action/practice, to describe the experience of a resident in public health, as well as their performance in a field outside the municipality of Uberlândia. During my experience, in primary care, it was possible to understand the work process and identify how nursing care was being designed. The experience in these fields of practice provided me with a dynamic and pioneering experience, as it gave me an enriching, pleasurable, and stimulating performance. It is essential to build emotional and trusting bonds, as countless life stories, individual, collective, and familiar, are intertwined with our practice, considering the occurrence of those served, seeking out residents not only to treat the problems covered by each specialty but to seek advice, overcome everyday difficulties and invest in health promotion. This study focuses, in a theoretical dimension, on the process of perception as a way of reading, capturing and signifying, based on contact with intermedia configurations. The valorization of experience, which here is not restricted to its aesthetic character, helps us to rethink the relational reading of the media in its synaesthetic dimension. Synaesthesia is approached as a reading experience to overcome the incorporeality of the image in a digital context. As understood here, the experience is not reduced to the personal or the impersonal and thus deconstructs both the strict limits of the subject's uniqueness and the determinations of some collective entity. The theoretical-methodological procedures that underpin this proposal are Intermediality, with an emphasis on Bruhn's medialities (2020) and Elleström's modalities (2021). We hope that, by focusing more on the subtle processes of perception than on the resultant immediacy, this reflection will offer keys to a relational reading of the media in the context of post-pandemic transformations and silencing. This set of letters aims to dig the meanings of sexuality and its tensions based on curricular experiences lived in different school situations and existential circumstances common to the teaching profession. The letters were not only the textual genre of writing, but also the phenomenological exercise itself of digging the meanings of sexuality and bringing them out, that is, evidencing them. Phenomenological curriculum research, based on the as a biography of those who produce the curriculum and the notion of sexualityinsituation guided this writing. Background: The COVID-19 pandemic has posed many challenges for mothers of children and adolescents up to 18 years of age in managing the responsibilities associated with their social roles. Objective: To understand the meanings and contexts of the experiences of Portuguese mothers of children and adolescents up to 18 years of age during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: Qualitative, descriptive, and retrospective study using Bardin's content analysis. The sample consisted of 16 mothers of children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. Results: Nine categories emerged - Feelings; Perception of health; Changes in health status; Significant experiences; Meaning of experiences; Difficulties felt during the pandemic; Difficulties felt in education; Difficulties felt as a mother and wife; and Impact on children's education. Conclusion: Most of the interviewed mothers considered the COVID-19 pandemic a significant period in their lives, giving rise to ambivalent feelings and distinct life contexts. This research analyzed three (3) cases in the Institute of Graduate & Professional Studies (IGPS) at Universidad de Manila where place-based education (PBE) was realized at the place of work of post graduate students through experiential learning. In addition, actual experiences of executive scholars who underwent training at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) under the CHED-AIM program “Global Academic Leadership Program (GALP) for Local Universities and Colleges” (LUC) shared their experiences to give additional enlightenment on the impact of place-based education. Results underline the success impact of PBE to post graduate students’ integration of principles, theories, skills, frameworks, and methodologies learned from the courses of the program and applied in the place of work. Utilization of the PBE learning approach has proven to increase the academic achievement of students in their post-graduate studies. Two (2) models were formulated from results, both giving evidence of the utilization and implementation of graduate students’ own learning to the real-life experiences at the workplace, in response to and in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) No. 4 (Quality Education)

ABSTRACT This article examines how the loyalist exiles of the Spanish American revolutions drew upon their experiences to debate the best ways to preserve imperial rule in the remaining colonies. Delving on the stories of José Domingo Díaz and Miguel Tacón-Intendant of Puerto Rico in the 1820s and Captain General of Cuba in the 1830s, respectively-it traces how they advocated an imperial project rooted in unrestricted obedience to colonial officers, the consolidation of the Captain General’s power, and the opposition to local autonomies. To this end, they weaponized their experiences on the continent and in the Caribbean, claiming that the Spanish Empire should learn from royalists’ mistakes in order to halt the advance of revolution and the emergence of the racial war. For them, the diagnosis was simple: the constitutional rule undermined the royalist cause, thwarting its attempts to preserve racial hierarchies and political stability. Therefore, the solution also seemed straightforward: the Spanish Empire should adopt a new colonial order in which the monarchy unapologetically decided to reinforce its power and racial hierarchies in the Spanish Antilles. Díaz and Tacón’s stories shed light on the impact of the mainland’s independence on the transformations experienced by the Spanish Empire during the Age of Revolution.

Objective/Context: In the following pages, I describe three political feminist projects from Latin America, which we can characterize as critical, given that these projects endorse positions historically attributed to the political left. Methodology: Since I am addressing specific feminist experiences that are not eminently theoretical, I use the few theorizations produced by the movements mentioned above and interviews and descriptions of the activism of these feminist political projects. I apply aspects of a cultural studies perspective with a non-hegemonic methodology, deploying the creativity that characterizes the article’s subjects, and some elements of Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology. Conclusions: I show that all three of these political proposals—although there are differences among them—have common ground and points of convergence that are important for thinking differently about critical Latin American feminisms. Specifically, I demonstrate that some of them share three characteristics: first, they are not born out of or made in academia; second, they are/live in the community; and third, they seek to unravel gender. Originality: This article presents an overview of these feminisms that have been of interest to feminists while providing academic readers with insight into social movements and their language. It could serve as a tool to discuss the relevance of these feminisms and expand the ongoing discussion in Latin America.

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine the relationship between the financial sophistication (FS) of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the efficiency of corporate investments using empirical analysis in a sample of 189 companies listed on the B3 S.A. - Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (B3), from 2010 to 2021. Research on the individual characteristics of managers has mainly explored aspects related to decisions on companies’ financial policies. Thus, this study seeks to add a new element to the discussion by investigating how these characteristics are related to the efficient use of resources available for investment. By examining the relationship between CEO FS and investment efficiency, it contributes to the discussion in the literature on how manager characteristics affect the way in which decision makers run companies. This adds new insights to the understanding of how the financial skills and individual characteristics of managers can influence organizational performance and results. The research is relevant in presenting the relationship between CEO expertise and investment decisions in the Brazilian market, where the supply of capital tends to be low (financial constraint); consequently, investing more assertively and efficiently has an impact on the organization’s results and longevity. Using a proxy that measures investment efficiency, regressions were run using the generalized method of moments (sys-GMM) and multinomial regression. The analyses suggest that CEO FS is related to investment efficiency in several ways. When FS is measured in terms of components, past experience is negatively related to deviations from the optimal level of investment. However, the international component is positively related to such deviations. In addition, a multinomial analysis showed that CEO experience helps reduce the probability of underinvestment, suggesting that an experienced CEO tends to contribute to the efficiency of company investments.

This article aims to analyze the emergence processes of Brazil as an autonomous political body and its structuring as a national state in the first half of the 19th century. My objective is to investigate the connections and mutual relations between the captaincies / provinces of Bahia, Cisplatina, Grão-Pará, Pernambuco and Rio Grande do Sul, between 1817 and 1850, through the movements of political contestation and civil war that occurred in these places. I present the hypothesis that when they got closer due to the insurgency movements, groups that were politically active in these places shared experiences and learnings, helped to create a shared space and a common language that provided elements for the construction of the State and the nation in Brazil. Therefore, Therefore, I seek to understand how these relationships occurred, the politicization and militarization of these ties in a context of political effervescence, treated as demonstrations of the changes of the advent of modernity in the western world. Notre article propose de discuter l’évolution de la pensée de Greimas en évaluant notamment quelques principes qui ont permis l’émergence de mouvements épistémologiquement différents, à partir de son héritage. A partir du réexamen d’ouvrages « critiques » des années 80-90 : le Tome 2 du Dictionnaire (Greimas ; Courtés, 1986), De l’imperfection (Greimas, 1987) et Sémiotique des passions (Greimas ; Fontanille, 1991), nous mettront en évidence les concepts portant en germe les tournants « post-greimassien ». Plus particulièrement, nous montrerons que les développements des modalités (Greimas, 1983) ont orienté la sémiotique vers le sujet et la subjectivité, l’énonciation et, finalement, une approche existentielle préfigurant la sémiotique du discours. Notre proposition critique cherchera à questionner la cohérence du modèle théorique greimassien comme cadre unique, stable et partagé de la communauté sémiotique.

The understanding of sung vocal performance is usually oriented to the study of anatomical-physiological aspects based on analysis with specific instruments and software. However, the experiential dimension of whoever produces a vocal sound and, above all, the corporeality involved in the construction of such a performance, are usually relegated to the background. In this work, we analyze the performative implications of the laryngeal movement in the deep and intermediate positions from the first-person experience of four developing singers. We consider that laryngeal positions have a corporeal-sonorous correlate of great impact on sung performance, which goes beyond the anatomical-physiological dimension and may be relevant in vocal development and the approach to popular music in the pedagogical field.

In the present study, we examine the manner in which firms’ experiential learning in challenging institutional environments shapes their entry strategies in subsequent international acquisitions targeting comparable contexts. Specifically, our research delineates the nexus between the institutional expertise firms garner from operations in countries characterized by deficient institutional frameworks and the level of ownership they subsequently elect in acquisitions within similarly constituted environments. Utilizing a dataset comprised of 3,577 cross-border acquisitions aimed at emerging markets, spanning the period from 2010 to 2019, we find that institutional experience serves as a moderating variable. This moderation influences the impact of corruption, economic freedom, and political stability on the proportion of ownership stakes acquired during the transaction. While firms are generally inclined to augment their ownership levels in acquisitions where the institutional environment is more favorable, our findings paradoxically reveal that institutional experience amplifies, rather than mitigates, the relationship between extant institutional conditions and the chosen level of ownership, contrary to our initial hypotheses.

ABSTRACT Objective: Explore in depth the experiences of women giving birth during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Methods: Qualitative research with a descriptive phenomenological. A total of 16 participants did not suffer from COVID-19 and gave birth during the COVID-19 pandemic in the community setting area. Results: There are five themes: 1: Feelings of anxiety and fear of giving birth in hospitals are experienced by women giving birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, 2. Screening for COVID and health protocols applied in hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic, 3. Support from husbands, families, and health workers is needed when giving birth during the COVID-19 pandemic, 4. Lack of family visits hours is an obstacle during childbirth, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, and 5: Bonding attachment between mother and baby while at the hospital. Conclusion: Optimal maternity nursing care and supporting health facilities and public policies will help mothers give birth during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia.

The influence of Brand Satisfaction, Trust, Experience and Innovation on Brand Love was analyzed. This study is descriptive and quantitative, through a survey of 409 digital bank customers, based on structural equation modeling. Satisfaction, Trust, Experience with the brand and Innovation of the brand positively influenced the love of the brand. This study methodologically contributes by validating, in the Brazilian context, a scale of Antecedents of Brand Love in Digital Banks (fintechs). Published in 2022 by Pilar del Río, "A intuição da ilha: os dias de José Saramago em Lanzarote" constitutes a unique and highly sensitive book. Positioned among the genres of biography, chronicle, and diary, amidst events experienced in the Casa -- as spelled by the author -- the narrative encompasses the writing of several novels, many critically acclaimed, the explorations of the volcanic island, culminating in encounters with renowned writers such as Carlos Fuentes and Ernesto Sábado, as well as figures like Sebastião Salgado. The work vividly and skillfully recounts the last 18 years of Saramago, precisely from 1992 to 2010, in Tías, in the southern part of the island, near Morocco's coast. The objective of this investigation is to bring forth Saramago's affective experience through the eyes of his partner and constant companion, exploring how his topophilic relationship with Lanzarote influenced the writing of several of his novels and how the freedom acquired on the island -- its expansiveness -- allowed for the attainment of epiphanic moments. The theoretical framework for this study will draw on the Humanistic Cultural Geography, based on phenomenology, with contributions from Bachelard (2008), Tuan (2012; 2013), Dardel (2011), and Relph (2012), as well as specific reflections on Saramago's production found in the works of Reis (1998) and Aguilera (2008). This article searchs to present resonates with my experience with Mary of Nazareth, based on the missionary journey that is part of the thirty-year history of theological formation that developed with women from different classes and ethnicities. The Marian theology on which I base myself permeates a narrative methodological perspective as a way of theologizing life and worship, starting from Sacred Scripture and experiences. To explain this theme, it starts from the principle of Mary´s humble origins in Nazareth. Mary, as an Anawin of Israel, a poor woman, member of a people who waited for the coming of the Messiah, committed to justice and the salvation foretold, inspires all women in all times to occupy their space in the theology and ministry of the Church.
