Brazil is the largest consumer of pesticides in the world, the amount used causes a lot of damage to the environment (BORSOI et al., 2014). Reverse logistics operates from the planning and control of logistical information equivalent to the process of returning after-sales and consumption products to mastering the cycles of logistics and business (LEITE, 2009). In this sense, the general objective is to evaluate the reverse logistics process used for containers of agricultural pesticides in rural communities in the municipality of São João Evangelista. Based on this study, on-site visits were made to ten family farming properties in the rural municipality, carried out in the month of May of the year 2023, and during these visits, data were collected from observations, photos and dialogues with local farmers. Through conversations with the ranchers, the lack of nearby collection points, the lack of transportation and information, are one of the determining factors in the difficulties encountered, and that cause the incorrect disposal and reuse of packaging. It was observed that there are many difficulties encountered by small livestock farmers in relation to the return of postconsumption containers. The municipality does not offer any structure for receiving these packages until the time of the local study and currently, there is no collection by traders in the region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present study aimed to map, identify obstacles and suggest improvements of the internal phase of the goods acquisition process, by traditional electronic pregão, at the Federal University of Campina Grande. The inferences were materialized through the Business Process Modeling methodology, and the software option used to graphically represent the modeling was the BPMN in Bizagi. To assist in the development of the description, analysis, and validation of the mapping, the methodology was applied with an adaptation of SIPOC, the verification of compliance with the ISO/TR 26.122 2008 summary checklist, and the Value Added Analysis. This apparatus allowed to identify the areas that need improvement and to suggest, among other issues, an optimized process, with a 17% reduction in the amount of activities. To analyze the efficiency of its implementation, the improved process went through a validation simulation, time analysis, and resource analysis, which presented useful information for management decision making. The need for accounting professionals who are increasingly up-to-date and prepared to meet the demands of the market, motivated this work that sought to verify how higher education institutions (HEIs) are preparing academics in order to meet the specificities required by organizations of the third sector. Thus, a study was carried out on the undergraduate courses in Accounting in Rio Grande do Sul, in order to identify the disciplines aimed at the third sector, with the aim of quantifying and qualifying the teaching of the discipline in HEIs, as well as seeking understanding how the syllabus contributes to student training. To achieve the results, qualitative research was used, explanatory and descriptive research, diagnostic research and document analysis were used. By analyzing the results, it was possible to verify that the institutions present curricula focused on accounting standards and legislation inherent to the area, with a reduced approach to other subjects relevant to the theme. It is a study on the use of information systems in the exercise of management in financial institutions in the city of Medianeira-PR, in order to evaluate the perception of managers regarding the support given by Information Systems (IS) in decision making as a tool for management. The methodology used was descriptive, qualitative in nature, in a multi-case involving 11 financial institutions in the municipality. A semi-structured interview with managers was used and the qualitative analysis was supported by the NVivo software. The study validates those systems are important instruments for the exercise of management in financial institutions, as well as points out what are the characteristic actions of management and, finally, what is the application of this information in the context of decision-making in the exercise of management of Financial Institution. This article is part of an ongoing research. The general objective of which is to study the process of registration, integration and retrieval of information in the e-SUS AB and SISAB databases. The specific objectives aim to describe the process of collecting and recording the information that feeds SISAB through e-SUS AB; Check, from the perspective of managers and users, the main problems encountered in the registration and retrieval of information in e-SUS AB; And contribute to a better understanding of the process of collecting, storing, retrieving and using information in the health area. As for the methodological procedures, this research will be qualitative in nature, with a descriptive and exploratory approach, consisting of a case study, using questionnaires and semi-structured interviews. The initial results point to the perceptions of the registration process, integration, difficulties and retrieval of information from the e-SUS-AB and SISAB databases, from the perspective of municipal health management. Given this context, this research may contribute towards showing the relevance and value of information for public health organizations and its role in the management of informational praxis developed by health professionals in accordance with the principles and guidelines of the SUS. Introduction: The electronic auction is a type of bidding for the acquisition and contracting of common services and its use by public bodies, including Federal Universities, is mandatory. The electronic trading process is formed by information that has strategic value used for organizational learning and better decision making. Objective: This research aims to analyze how information management is characterized in electronic trading in a Federal Teaching Institution. Methodology: The study will be carried out at the Federal University of Alagoas, the largest public education institution in the State of Alagoas. The research is characterized by being descriptive with a qualitative approach, thirteen civil servants who work in electronic trading were interviewed, using a semi-structured questionnaire as a data collection instrument. The questionnaires were constructed using the information management model of Choo (2006). Content analysis was performed as a data investigation method. Results: The main information needs were identified as: description of the material or services, price quotation and purpose of the acquisition. Personal sources are the most used by servers in resolving doubts in the process. There is no easy access to information from other sectors and information products and services are outdated and not very detailed for some users. Conclusion: The research is relevant because it analyzed the information management in the institution, which can bring improvements in the use of information, in the elaboration of information products and services from the informational needs of purchase requesters. Introduction: The current society has been identified as the Information Society. Questions related to information and its flow are instigated to its understanding and social influence, taking into account documents, varied contents and subjects, diversified behaviors and people who use, receive and reproduce information. The university has the role of contributing to the transformation, training and social awareness from the inseparability between teaching, research and extension by impacting on the personal and professional formation of society, however, the small amount of publication in information science, on the extension university in the community in a situation of social vulnerability, provokes us to question the social relevance of the Extension Program of the Department of Information Science of the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Objective: Thus, through an analysis of the extension in information science, this research article in progress, has the following objective: to reflect on the importance and social relevance of the extension carried out in the community in a situation of social vulnerability. Methodology: used is qualitative with an interpretive critical approach, in two distinct and connected moments: the bibliographical research, in this study, and the field research in the data collection. Result: the practice of participatory extension is evident where, in an interdisciplinary and democratic way, the distance between the academic world and the periphery community, between scientific and popular knowledge, can be reduced through university extension in Information Science. This article deals with the work of the Covid-19 Observatory, a project of the Presidency of Fiocruz and a catalyst in the production and dissemination of information on the pandemic in Brazil. Its activities resulted in the constitution of a digital archive, associated with the idea of "project memory," whose characteristics derived from the health emergency scenario we are of interested in investigating. The general objective of this article is to reflect on the creation and operation of the Covid-19 Observatory with a focus on the challenges related to the management of documents and information from its actions. To this end, concepts from the fields of information science, archival science, social memory and history of sciences and health are used as theoretical inputs, in addition to information from interviews and documentary sources. Information Management is a set of six distinct but interrelated processes: identification of informational needs; acquisition of information; organization and storage of information; development of informational products and services; distribution of information and use of information. In this article, we sought to map the state of the art of information management. In methodological terms, a systematic review of the literature was carried out with articles searched in 184 databases available on the CAPES Portal from the technically selected and combined descriptors. In the end, a selection of 34 scientific papers published in 13 countries on five continents was obtained. The content analysis of this selection identified five primary themes: information management, information security management systems, information and knowledge management, information technology and records management. The tools for process mapping, simulation, automation, analysis and reengineering have shown to be essential for the optimization and improvement of organizational management. Through process management, it is possible to improve the institutional administration, acting mainly to reduce or eliminate interferences and losses. This paper was design to apply these techniques to support process improvement. The process management program Bizagi Modeler was use to elaborate the complete and precise diagram of the process. The diagramming followed the BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation) standard. The methodology adopted in this work is qualitative in nature. The means of data collection chosen were document analysis and verification by means of a checklist prepared according to ISO/TR 26122, of 2008. An adaptation of the SIPOC (Suppliers, Inputs, Process, Outputs and Customers) tool was adapted to informational processes, which contributed to identify key elements and to get a better understanding, indicating opportunities for improvement. Finally, an analysis was carry out presenting a proposal for improvement through process remodeling focused on the elimination of excessive bureaucratization and rework. And, a simulation of the processes (Original and Improved) was performed, using the Bizagi Studio program, to demonstrate and confirm that the scenario with the implemented improvement proposal offered a better result in its execution and processing. This research article was carried out to develop a strategic model based on the Kaplan and Norton methodology, the Balance Scorecard, where microentrepreneurs are facilitated to planning and managing their processes to obtain a competitive advantage that allows them to improve their situation, increase their profits, and sustain themselves in the market. The model utilizes diverse strategies that fulfill five objectives considered in a strategic map based on four perspectives. This descriptive, nonexperimental study was carried out with micro-enterprises from commune 1 of the city of Santiago de Cali, Colombia. A survey was implemented to collect the data that helped to detect the needs of these micro-enterprises and their realities. With this data, together with the auscultation of theories and methodologies of personnel management, process standardization, customer service and sales management through the Internet, it was possible to outline the model proposed here. Additionally, it was possible to verify that these micro-enterprises demonstrate weaknesses in office automation skills, forcing themselves to manually keep their scarce paper records, which prevents the proper handling of information and the control of their processes and procedures, in addition to the notable shortcomings in advertising and sales management. The conjunctural changes that occurred in the 20th century resulted in a new political, social and technological paradigm, a scenario in which the evolution of information, information management, strategic planning and information systems and technologies emerge as potential inputs for transformation in contemporary society, emphasizing the importance of these for the construction of new studies, researches and collaborating for the achievement of institutional goals in organizations, especially in Federal Public Universities. Information and Communications Technologies have contributed significantly to the economic and social development of today's society. The international scientific community is discussing their negative and positive effects and their relationship with the environment, and are looking for solutions in sustainable technologies and information systems. The present investigation proposes a procedure to determine the level of sustainability in the management of technologies and information systems using Compensatory Fuzzy Logic in an organization. The results of the application of the procedure allowed calculating and evaluating the level of sustainability in the management of information systems and technologies. As the center of the open access movement, whose philosophy is to provide free access to scientific production, Institutional Repositories have been shown to be strategic instruments that add value to higher education institutions, generating indicators that point to the quality of their intellectual and scientific framework. Furthermore, they increase the visibility of research and researchers, which provides benefits for the institution and society as a whole. The objective of the study is to analyze the Information and Communication Management requirements that contribute to increase the visibility and the number of deposits of scientific and academic productions in the Institutional Repositories of the Federal Universities of Alagoas and Ceará. Influenced by the COVID-19 pandemic, SMEs face unprecedented challenges. Innovation becomes central to facing the crisis and its socio-economic consequences and promoting a sustainable recovery. Aimed in this objeticve, the information and the digital technologies are essential and must be part of the companies response to facing these challenges. This work aims to address information management practices and the transforming potential of technologies in organizations, with a focus on SMEs. Based on a literature review, proposals for actions will be presented to promote efficient and technologically mediated information management, which values information at all stages of its life cycle, and support managers in the decision-making process and in the definition of business strategy. The electronic auction is a form of bidding for the acquisition and contracting of common services and is mandatory for public bodies, including Federal Universities. The electronic bidding process consists of routines, procedures and information. Information has strategic value for organizational learning and decision making. For the information to be used properly, it is essential to manage information in the identification of needs, search, organization, distribution and use of information. This research aims to analyze how information management is characterized in electronic auctions in a Federal Education Institution. The study will be carried out at the Federal University of Alagoas, the largest public higher education institution in the State of Alagoas. The research is characterized by being descriptive with a qualitative approach. Interviews with a semi-structured questionnaire will be applied as a data collection instrument, having its construction based on the steps outlined in the information management model by Choo (2003). As a method of data investigation, content analysis will be applied. The research is relevant because by identifying how information management takes place in the institution, it can bring improvements in the use of information, in the development of information products and services based on the informational needs of purchasers. Information is essential to analyze performance and formulate management strategies in dairy farming. In order to investigate which factors contribute to the informational development of southern Minas Gerais dairy properties and to identify business strategies that may emerge from information management in these properties, 115 southern Minas Gerais milk producers were interviewed in 2017, using Pearson's Correlation to analyze the data. Technologically less developed properties tend to have worse information management. Understanding Internet as a post-mass communicational environment, that allows the creation and consolidation of truths in favor of distinct interests by the ones that move them, this research reinforce the massive dimension of this communication, addressing the comprehension of postmass processes and media desmassification, but also how TV is affirmed as "the new television" and how Internet economy takes advantage of that; then, it's reflected the articulation of spreadability strategies and algorithms control from data mining and the reordering of the control of informational flows through big data and, finally, it focuses on the reorganization of information control by big data, identifying its operators as those who have supported old and new capitalism since the advent of the cultural industry.
