- Abstract
The case describes a young male, exhibiting chronic lymph nodes from below, without decompensated momentum, ascitic and with diarrhea. Hypoalbuminemia was evidenced in laboratorial ascending and physical-uterine ascites, being more common the hypoalbuminemia syndrome (nephrotic syndrome, chronic liver disease), was investigated for protein-losing enteropathy. During hospitalization, the diagnosis of intestinal lymphangiectasia was confirmed by ileal intestinal biopsy. Disease by proteins of the obstructive axis, causing the loss of proteins via enteral, malnutrition, hypoalbuminemia, edema, ascites. The diagnosis is confirmed by small bowel biopsy and the treatment is based on the low-fat diet and the medium-catching triglyceride supplementation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
