Sexual harassment in the workplace (shiw) in nursing is analyzed through the discussion of gender relations, patriarchy, and the sexual division of labor. The purpose of the research is to analyze the configurations of sexual harassment in nursing work and its influence on nurses’ health. The methodology includes an integrative bibliographic review, with a final sample of thirty-two selected articles (Scielo, vhl, Web of Science, Scopus, and PubMed). The results show that there is a dearth of Latin American studies together with an overrepresentation of Asian countries. The profession contains a predominance of women, who are harassed more than men, although the latter are also subject to this. Health problems triggered by shiw include anxiety, stress, depression, dissatisfaction, and fear. In professional training and union movements, this agenda should be one of the priorities to be collectively constructed by health professionals, together with putting an end to violence against women in the workplace.
