The didactic process is marked by the search for strategies to boost student learning. In this sense, one of the possibilities in teaching Geography is the use of Virtual Reality (VR), bringing different aspects of this discipline of knowledge to the classroom. Thus, this research sought to characterize the students' perception of a VR tool for teaching landscape in the curricular component of Geography, taking into account the practical positioning of the instrument used. For this, locations in Caxias do Sul, Gramado and Bento Gonçalves, all in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, were recorded with a 360-degree camera. A didactic sequence applied in the last year of high school at the IFRS - Caxias do Sul Campus was organized, using a VR eyepiece and a mobile phone coupled to view the videos, presenting them through youtube.com. A questionnaire supported by a Likert scale was used to measure perceptions and open questions for qualitative categorization. It is concluded that the proposal employed demonstrates challenges related to technical instruments, associated with the perception that knowledge about landscapes is improved with the use of VR and that the tool motivates and engages students. This study investigates an innovative structure in Brazilian Portuguese (BP): relative clauses with preposition stranding. BP speakers and Brazilian undergraduate Portuguese-English bilingual students participated in an acceptability judgement task with a 5-point Likert scale and an elicited production task. Since relative clauses with preposition stranding is a very frequent construction in English, bilinguals were expected to show higher levels of acceptability and production of this kind of structure in BP. However, this phenomenon seems to be lexically restricted in BP: there are prepositions which may be stranded, but there are others which may not, according to Marcelino (2007) and Salles (2003). Our results show that bilinguals do indeed accept preposition stranding in higher levels than BP monolinguals, but their production is similar to that of BP speakers, conditioned by type of preposition, that is, they are only more tolerant with relative clauses with preposition stranding in BP in acceptability tasks. These results also show that these constructions are well-accepted and naturally produced by native BP speakers. The comparison between BP speakers and undergraduate Portuguese-English bilingual students suggests that the presence of similar structures in the additional language may increase acceptability rates of innovative variants in the mother tongue. Sociolinguistic research shows that Brazilian Portuguese presents two variants in the nominal phrase: (a) the realization of the definite article before anthroponyms (eg. O João) and (b) the non-realization of the definite article before anthroponyms (eg. João). The variation of these forms is related to the influence of the diatopic variable: in cities in the Northeast, the non-realization of the definite article before proper nouns is the most common strategy, contrary to what happens in cities in the South and Southeast (CALLOU; SILVA, 1997; VERÍSSIMO, 2021). Besides these two possibilities, there is another possibility that has been underinvestigated in which a feminine article is used before a masculine anthroponym (eg A João). The use of this variant is rising and is found in the speech of members of the LGBT+ community. Therefore, the main goal of this research is to investigate the feeling of inclusion of university students who live in Recife about the use of this variant. For this purpose, 60 speakers (30 students who belong to the LGBT+ community and 30 students who do not belong to this community) participated in language attitude surveys, with a 5 point Likert type scale. The present study aimed at analyzing whether leisure experiences in a religious context contribute to the development of spiritual well-being in college students. This is a mixed, cross-sectional, exploratory research and case study. The sample was selected by convenience; 108 people participated (29.8 ± 10.4 years), being 61.1% women. Regarding adherence to religions/beliefs, there was the following distribution: Umbanda (2.8%), atheist (6.5%), Kardecist spiritist (6.5%), Evangelical (33.3%), Catholic (37.0%), other (13.9%). A semistructured questionnaire was applied via Google Forms, and the spiritual well-being scale validated for Portuguese. A 5-point Likert scale was used to record the answers, which were analyzed by means of averages. The results show an average of 4.4 in agreement that the leisure activities performed in a religious context contribute to the promotion of spiritual well-being; in relation to the perception of spiritual well-being a general average of 3.8 was identified. It is considered that leisure activities in a religious context, regardless of gender, marital status, or beliefs, may act as a factor to promote spiritual well-being among college students. This paper presents the results of an acceptability judgement task (Likert scale) of relative clauses, applied to EJA (young adults and adults' education) students and regular school students. It considers that not all non-standard strategies are equally evaluated/rejected by the school. As far as relative clauses are concerned, the resumptive strategy is more stigmatized than the chopped one. As EJA students are later and less regularly exposed to the prescriptive rules of the school, it is predicted that non-standard relative clauses strategies would persist longer for them. Actually, our results show that these students accept resumptive relative clauses better than the regular school students. We discuss the role prescriptive rules perform in the formation of the internalized grammar of an educated Brazilian Portuguese speaker, based on the notion of marked periphery by Kato (2005). Purpose: The study seeks to investigate the identity and identification of public health workers, more specifically in a health center in Belo Horizonte. Design/methodology/approach: Characterized by as quantitative research, it also access the qualitative approach, carried out through a case study, as a way of understanding the phenomena evidenced in depth. Data were constructed from a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale, and the treatment consisted of a simple statistical test with frequency distribution and descriptive analysis of information. Research, Practical & Social implications: The main theoretical contributions indicate that most of the respondents feel identified with public health at an average level. The most identified people are the most emotionally committed to the organization, which reinforces findings by Bandeira, Marques and Veiga (2000) and Medeiros (1997). Theoretical/practical/social contributions: It was observed that identity and identification are important factors in the performance of professional activities and that they are related to efficiency and effectiveness. To analyze the plans to combat COVID-19 among the municipalities of the State of Mato Grosso do Sul (MS). Quantitative, documentary study of the COVID-19 contingency plans prepared by eleven municipalities that are home to health microregions in the state of MS, in 2020. 30 requirements were stipulated, references to Health Surveillance (VS), Laboratory Support (SL), Health Care (AS), Communication, Mobilization, Publicity (C,M,P), and Management (G) and scored on the likert scale. Descriptive data analysis was applied. Of the total, nine contingency plans were recovered. SL was the dimension best described in the municipal plans, followed by VS. AS and G were the dimensions with the lowest performance. The municipality of Campo Grande had the highest overall rating. Efforts were focused on planning actions within the scope of SL and VS. This study aims to verify how teachers who teach subjects in the 3rd year Technical Course in Agriculture at IFTO, Campus Araguatins understand and address culture and Afro-Brazilian themes. The research had an exploratory nature with a quali-quantitative approach through bibliographic research and Google form application elaborated on eleven closed questions and an open one, based on themes related to continuing education, structural racism, school prejudice, Afro-Brazilian theme in textbooks and also in classroom, teaching participation in events and knowledge regarding the legal frameworks on the theme, according to Likert scale model. Google form was sent to twenty-four teachers via Google Classroom, obtaining, therefore, seventeen answers. Although the study points out advances of Law 10.639/2003 implementation, specifically on the recognition of themes, understanding and importance of its practice by teachers in classroom, much still needs to be done in terms of actions aimed at decolonizing the curriculum and implementing pedagogical actions that overcome monocultural practices centered on the hegemonic eurocentrism principles. This study aims at analyzing how the students evaluate the five teaching strategies that have been chosen and used by the teachers in the Physics classes. In addition to verifying which strategies are considered more motivating and efficient, it aims at explaining students' motivational orientation. The instrument used consisted of closed questions, answered by a Likert scale, and open ones. The analysis of the data is based on the Content Analysis developed by Bardin. It was verified that the teaching strategy considered the most motivating is the laboratory practical class, while the most efficient ones are the problem/exercises solving class and the expository class whit whiteboard. Regarding motivational orientation, the data indicate that the motivation presented by the students has elements in a broad spectrum, involving different categories of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Purpose: This study aims to promote an evaluation of the acceptance and use of the implanted technology (Electronic Information System) in a public institution in the state of Pernambuco, from the perspective of internal users of the system in the light of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (Venkatesh, Morris, Davis & Davis, 2003). Methodology: A quantitative, analytical and descriptive approach with an exploratory objective was used. Data were collected using a structured form with statements grouped by constructs, elaborated and applied via google forms, using the Likert scale. The treatment of the collected data was carried out in two ways: i) descriptive statistics for the questions that deal with the demographic profile of the respondents, called moderating variables, according to the theory; and ii) the Average Ranking method was applied, confronting the aspects proposed in the theory for specific questions, verifying whether the notes of the sample responses correspond to the findings of the renowned author with respect to the relationship between constructs. Results: The results obtained point out that age, gender and experience directly influence the constructs. It is concluded, therefore, that there is a reasonable level of acceptance and use of CES. Although there is still resistance and conflicts to be faced in public management, most users see and understand positively that the system presented in the present study has been a relevant tool in public management, contributing to the management and control of information without leaving aside, support for decision-making, helping to improve the use of resources. Contributions of the study: The results contribute to the specific literature, because it presents results on acceptance and use in the public sphere, which can subsidize the process of implantation of the CES in other agencies, as well as for future research involving similar situations. This article focuses on answering the question of whether or not there is a correlation between Financial Education funneling specifically to an individual's Personal Finance and Quality of Life at Work (QWL), from data collection through questionnaires via Google form targeting the servers of a public HEI of basic, technical and technological education. The questionnaire was divided into two approaches, section 1 that focuses more on socioeconomic issues and section 2 addressing personal finance issues and Quality of Life at Work using the Likert Scale method. With the results found it is possible to realize that despite the high level of qualification and income of respondents, there is no culture of saving and financial planning. This article presents data on the sociodemographic profile and on school violence practiced and suffered by a sample of 9th grade students from six Rio de Janeiro schools. This work is part of na interinstitutional research aiming to better comprehend the phenomena, and help these arch for confrontation strategies. The methodology consists of conducting a quantitative and descriptive analysis using data collected in a 2019 sur vey using the Likert Scale Questionnaire. Results revealhig her frequency of feeling of happiness by the aggressors, mean while, the victims had a prevalence of bad feelings, such as sadness and disregard. Further more, we identified the characteristics of the aggressors and victims as being popular/strong, and unpopular/weak, respectively. Lastly, said results indicate the impact of the formative processes, both school and family (for example, lack of respect), on the aggressiveness carried out by the students. Purpose: The concern with the environment is constant, gaining political, academic and business prominence. The theme appears to be relevant, because for most companies the concern with the environment has not yet been transformed into effective environmental management practices and many accounting professionals have been trained before the insertion of environmental accounting as a new branch of activity for companies accounting sciences. However, continuing education is established as a means of updating professionals in relation to changes and new trends in the performance of the accounting professional. Thus, the research aimed to analyze the level of knowledge of accounting professionals in Três Lagoas (MS) about environmental accounting, management and environmental legislation. Methodology: The classification of the research is quantitative and adopts as research strategy the survey of opinions of accountants working in the accounting offices in Três Lagoas (MS). The application of the questionnaires followed the accessibility criterion, obtaining a return of 68 answered questionnaires. The collection instrument was built with questions that identify the profile of accountants and level of knowledge about environmental accounting, management and environmental legislation. It consists of 15 items evaluated by the six-point Likert scale. Results: The results show a low level of accountants' knowledge of environmental accounting, management and environmental legislation, at an overall average of 71.2%. Only 32.4% of respondents seek professional updating in the environmental area through events, lectures or congresses and 55.9% of respondents are unaware of environmental management tools. Contributions of the Study: The theme demands greater involvement and search for knowledge from accountants, through continuing professional education programs. It is a reflection that accounting and environmental management are important and should be increasingly addressed in accounting practices, since environmental impacts result in accounting acts and facts, whose management and / or registration need a trained and updated accounting professional properly. Knowing the perceptions of students and teachers on different themes is a fundamental task to provide different interactions in the contemporary education scenario. In Brazil, the theme of racism is a harsh and sad social reality, whose actions have stained the country's history for many years. The main objective of the investigation was to analyze the perceptions of seventh-year students and teachers, from a public school, in Porto Alegre (RS), in 2019, about racism. For this, a questionnaire divided into two parts was applied: the characterization of the research sample and the presentation of six statements, by which, based on the Likert scale, the subjects should affirm their degree of agreement, indifference or disagreement. In the teachers' questionnaire, there was still an open question, in which they should answer about the actions they take in the search for an anti-racist education. It was possible to perceive that the proximity in the perceptions about racism between students and teachers are greater than the distances. Of the six sentences presented, in half of them there were positions of proximity in relation to the assigned meanings, and in the other half, it was possible to perceive distances. However, in a more detailed analysis, it was possible to notice that the proximity exceeds the distance. Several actions to promote anti-racist education were mentioned by teachers, with emphasis on debates, literary projects and the inclusion of black personalities. Thus, it is possible to consider that, even in the case of groups with age and social distances, the perceptions about racism are diverse, but close. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The practice scenarios can encourage the student to develop skills and competences and improve the teaching-learning process. The research analyzes the supervised internship in Dentistry, in primary and secondary care, under student perception. Study of a quantitative and qualitative nature, using a Likert scale, using the Course Reaction Scale, applied to concluding students. The students valued the internship for professional training, they detected gaps in communication, organization and theoretical content. Students need attention in practice scenarios, joint actions are needed, which can minimize weaknesses in communication, physical structure and theoretical content. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The effective improvement of the teaching-learning process occurs through the intervention of the teacher and the continuous improvement of his pedagogical practice in initial and continuing education actions. Thus, the school environment is an environment conducive to research and investigation of the potential of different methodologies. In this sense, Potentially Meaningful Teaching Unit (PMTUS) - theoretically grounded teaching sequences - are focused on Meaningful Learning, since they can stimulate applied research in teaching, which is directed directly to the classroom. In this paper, we present results of the analysis of the use of the PMTUS, presented through a pedagogical workshop, by Chemistry graduates, aiming to evaluate the extent to which they can see the strategy as viable and interesting to approach chemical contents. We adopted in this work the quantitative research, using the Likert scale and qualitative, from the active research, in the form of action research. Quantitative data were processed according to classical statistics, using as centrality measures the arithmetic mean and standard deviation. As for the qualitative data, they were built from the Bardin Content Analysis. From the evaluation of the action, it was possible to conclude that the students perceived the PMTUS as interesting to be used in their classes.
