Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES This work, through qualitative empirical research, aims to address the media consumption and social relations of women in ecovillages, with regard to gender relations and spiritual practices within their communities and in their personal experiences. The general objective of this study is to investigate how the consumption of the Sacred Feminine in the media affects gender relations in ecovillage communities. We seek to organize our theoretical framework from three axes: the current social context and alternatives based on ecovillages and a spiritual perspective; the Sacred Feminine itself as a perspective and practice adopted by women; and the Sacred Feminine from media consumption. For this, we established three axes of study: gender issues (FRASER, 2020; FEDERICI, 2017); female spirituality in ecovillages (ELLER, 2000; ARRUDA, 2018); media consumption (GARCÍA-CANCLINI, 2010). The methodology relies on the contribution of Bernard Lahire’s Sociological Portraits (2004) in order to build the trajectories of three women who have experience in ecovillages and approach the Sacred Feminine in their spirituality. In the trajectory covered, we understand that this spirituality proposes the sacralization of the female figure insofar as it attributes positive qualities and characteristics to women, contributing to female autonomy and power and, thus, indirectly to gender equality. In this sense, we conclude that it does not deconstruct patterns of gender by functioning as a support group for women and by easing conflicts between women and men only in reconciling their domestic and interests in the individual sphere. Este trabalho, através de pesquisa empírica qualitativa, visa abordar o consumo de mídia e as relações sociais de mulheres em ecovilas, no que diz respeito às relações de gênero e práticas espirituais dentro de suas comunidades e em suas experiências pessoais. O objetivo geral deste estudo é investigar como o consumo do Sagrado Feminino na mídia incide nas relações de gênero nas comunidades de ecovilas. Buscamos organizar nosso referencial teórico a partir de três eixos: o contexto social atual e as alternativas baseadas nas ecovilas e na perspectiva espiritual; o próprio Sagrado Feminino como uma perspectiva e prática adotada por mulheres; e o Sagrado Feminino a partir do consumo midiático. Para isso, estabelecemos três eixos de estudo: questões de gênero (FRASER, 2020; FEDERICI, 2017); espiritualidade feminina nas ecovilas (ELLER, 2000; ARRUDA, 2018); consumo midiático (GARCÍA-CANCLINI, 2010). A metodologia conta com o aporte dos Retratos Sociológicos de Bernard Lahire (2004) a fim de construir a trajetórias de três mulheres que possuem experiência em ecovilas e se aproximam do Sagrado Feminino em sua espiritualidade. Na trajetória percorrida, entendemos que essa espiritualidade propõe a sacralização da figura feminina na medida em que atribui às mulheres qualidades e características positivas, contribuindo para autonomia e poder femininos e assim, indiretamente para a igualdade de gênero. Nesse sentido, concluímos que não desconstrói padrões de gênero por funcionar como um grupo de apoio para as mulheres e por amenizar conflitos entre mulheres e homens apenas na conciliação de seus interesses domésticos na esfera individual.

The article discusses belly dancing from a historical perspective and aims to investigate the construction of the social imaginary in belly dancing, verifying how the historical and cultural aspects relate to the idea of the sacred feminine. Its guiding quastion was: What extent can the social imaginary about the sensuality and sexualization of belly dancing be related to the sacred feminine? To discuss these themes, Maffesoli (2001) is atken as a reference for conceptualizing the social imaginary, Said (2007) for orientalismo and Maconato (2016) for the sacred feminine. This is a literature review article was used as a methodological procedure for the construction of its theoretical framework, as well as for doctoral theses, master’s dissertations, course conclusion works and books related to the theme. The relevance of this work can be seen in its contributions to the academic Community, as well as tobelly dance teachers and dancers, taking into account tht there are few publications on the sacred feminine in the academic environment. Academic works were found that were published from 2006 to 2022 and printed and digital books that were published from 1993 to 2022 related to belly dance and sacred feminine. In this way, it is concluded that belly dancing pemeates through crossing of various times and custos which have a impact in the social imagination of this style of dance. Thus, the sacred feminine can bring the feminine essence in its bulge, demonstrating that the elements of nature are presnt in us and that, regardless of individual biotype, everyone can practice belly dancing. O artigo discute a dança do ventre numa perspectiva histórica e tem por objetivo investigar a construção do imaginário social na dança do ventre verificando como os aspectos históricos e culturais se relacionam com a de ideia do sagrado feminino. Teve como questão norteadora: em que medida o imaginário social sobre a sensualidade e sexualização da dança do ventre podem se relacionar com o sagrado feminino? Para discutir estes temática toma-se como referência Maffesoli (2001) para conceituação do imaginário social, Said (2007) para o orientalismo e Marconato (2016) para o sagrado feminino. Trata-se de um artigo de revisão de literatura no qual foi utilizado como procedimento metodológico para construção do seu referencial teórico a seleção de artigos científicos como também por teses de doutorado, dissertações de mestrado, trabalhos de conclusão de curso e livros relacionados ao tema. A relevância deste trabalho pode ser percebida nas contribuições dele para a comunidade acadêmica, bem como para professoras e dançarinas da dança do ventre levando em consideração que existem poucas publicações sobre o sagrado feminino no meio acadêmico. Foram encontrados trabalhos acadêmicos que foram publicados desde o ano 2006 a 2022 e livros impressos e digitais que foram publicados desde 1993 a 2022 relacionados a dança do ventre e sagrado feminino. Desta forma, conclui-se que a dança do ventre perpassa por atravessamentos de variadas épocas e costumes os quais trazem impactos no imaginário social deste estilo de dança. Assim, o sagrado feminino pode trazer a essência feminina em seu bojo demonstrando que os elementos da natureza estão presentes em nós e que independentemente do biotipo individual todos podem praticar a dança do ventre. XIV-XV) encontram-se histórias que remetem ao passado pagão das tribos celtas que habitavam a Grã-Bretanha, registradas e modificadas após o processo de cristianização e a influência da estética medieval. O presente trabalho analisa três de suas proeminentes personagens femininas que provavelmente um dia possuíram status divino, Rhiannon, Aranrhod e Blodeuwedd, a partir tanto do estudo da cultura celta quanto dos arquétipos sob a perspectiva junguiana. Através dessas análises, discute-se conceitos e interpretações do sagrado feminino, da construção da inferioridade social feminina e do papel do mito e das artes na revisão e reconstrução dessa identidade, dialogando com os estudos feministas. In the group of Welsh legends called The Mabinogion (XIV-XV centuries) are found stories that relate to the pagan past of the Celtic tribes that inhabited Great Britain, registered and modified after the process of Christianisation and the influence of medieval aesthetics. This dissertation analyses three of its prominent female characters that probably once had divine status, Rhiannon, Aranrhod and Blodeuwedd, considering both the characteristics of Celtic culture and the study of the archetypes in Jungian perspective. Through these analyses, concepts and interpretations for the sacred feminine, the construction of female’s social inferiority and the part myhts and art can play at the revision and reconstruction of this identity are discussed, dialoguing with feminist studies.

For this, it remakes the myth trajectory since ancient times, exploring the imagery of creation and its various expressions in archaic cultures in the Western World. The main objective of the research is to demonstrate the survival the symbolism of the Mother Goddess and the Serpent Myth in different cultural expressions in dialogue with the Sacred Circle Dances. It also takes into to identify the hidden message that externalizes through body movements that generate archetypical expressions codified in the ritualistic dances and performances, and explores in the same way, the domains of the Great Mother and the Serpent; its symbolic polysemy and the way they are organized in artistic and spacial terms. The main issue of this thesis is that whether the symbolism of the serpent can be considered as a mythical theme survival in the contemporary Sacred Circle Dance. Taking as methodological inspiration the hermeneutic conception of analysis, in this thesis the purpose is to connect the Myth of the Serpent with the most relevant works regarding the Sacred Feminine, history, anthropology and the ritualistic performances. The literature will be reviewed in its thematic axles and in particular the authors and the known experts in the Sciences of Religion. Amid the conceptual interpretations this research produces surveys of recent works on the subject of study to discuss the meanings and the ramifications inspired by ancient traditions and with deep power refresher mythical; and in this discussion, focuses on the aspect of the dances that revive the serpent symbolism and ritually reframe the archaic myths. Traditional and Folk Dances, realized as artistic performances, or even spontaneously, come upon the space created by the traditional parties, replace and vivify myths and prehistoric rituals nowadays. It is considered, therefore, that the Serpent symbology is a mythical theme of the Mother Goddess who survived the performed and ritualistic acts in the contemporary Sacred Circle Dances. Esta tese investiga as sobrevivências e a camuflagem do Mito da Serpente e do culto à Grande Mãe nas performances mítica e ritualística das Danças Circulares Sagradas na contemporaneidade. Para isso, refaz a trajetória do mito desde a antiguidade, explorando o imaginário da criação e suas diversas expressões em culturas arcaicas no mundo ocidental. O principal objetivo da pesquisa é demonstrar a sobrevivência da simbologia da Deusa Mãe e do Mito da Serpente nas diferentes expressões culturais em diálogo com as Danças Circulares Sagradas. Busca, ainda, identificar a mensagem oculta que se externaliza mediante os movimentos corporais que geram expressões arquetípicas codificadas nas danças e performances ritualísticas; e explora, do mesmo modo, os domínios da Grande Mãe e da Serpente, sua polissemia simbólica e a maneira como se organizam em termos artísticos e espaciais. A principal questão da tese é se a simbologia da serpente pode ser considerada como temática mítica sobrevivente na Dança Circular Sagrada na contemporaneidade. Tendo como inspiração metodológica a concepção hermenêutica de análise, nesta tese busca-se conectar o Mito da Serpente às obras mais relevantes no que tange ao Sagrado Feminino, à história, à antropologia e às performances ritualísticas. A literatura será revista em seus eixos temáticos e, em especial, nos autores e estudiosos reconhecidos nas Ciências da Religião. Em meio às interpretações conceituais, a pesquisa realiza levantamentos das produções recentes sobre a temática de estudo para discutir as acepções e os desdobramentos inspirados em tradições ancestrais e com intenso poder de reatualização mítica; e, nesta discussão, aborda-se o aspecto das danças que revivem o simbolismo da serpente e ressignificam ritualisticamente os mitos arcaicos. As Danças Tradicionais e Folclóricas, realizadas como performances artísticas, ou mesmo espontaneamente, sobrevêm ao espaço criado pelas festas tradicionais, reatualizam e vivificam mitos e rituais pré-históricos na contemporaneidade. Considera-se, portanto, que a simbologia da Serpente é uma temática mítica da Deusa Mãe que sobreviveu nos atos performatizados e ritualísticos das Danças Circulares Sagradas contemporâneas.
