Este artículo aborda cómo se configura subjetivamente la participación de una estudiante de un Instituto de Formación Docente Continua de Argentina en acciones de extensión, enfatizando la relación entre la teoría y la práctica y cómo se favorece la generación de recursos subjetivos en el transcurso de esta participación. Los referentes teóricos y metodológicos utilizados en la construcción de este estudio de caso son la Teoría de la Subjetividad en una perspectiva histórico cultural y la Metodología Constructivo-Interpretativa, ambas de Fernando González Rey. Se analiza la participación de una estudiante del profesorado de Educación inicial en un proyecto de curricularización de la extensión. La construcción del caso presenta y discute cómo la participación en extensión implicó un aprendizaje desde la experiencia de los conceptos disciplinares que supone una relación estrecha entre teoría y práctica, la cual a su vez genera la producción de recursos subjetivos para ejercer la docencia.

El modo de producción agrícola industrial actual pone en riesgo la viabilidad e integridad de los socioecosistemas en general y de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Argentina, en particular. Uno de los factores que puede incidir en el nivel de adopción de innovaciones tecnológicas orientadas a reducir los impactos ambientales es la vinculación lograda entre los diferentes actores que intervienen en el territorio y de su compromiso ambiental, cultural, social y político. El objetivo del trabajo es analizar el grado de vinculación existente entre el nivel de adopción de las innovaciones tecnológicas sustentables por parte de los/las productores/as agropecuarios y el nivel de congruencia o acople entre las narrativas de representantes de la academia, la extensión y el ámbito productivo. Para avanzar en la caracterización de este vínculo se aplicó una metodología cuantitativa empleando técnicas que permitieron obtener y sistematizar información primaria y secundaria. Los resultados muestran una relación negativa entre la adopción de ciertas innovaciones tecnológicas sustentables y el nivel de desacople de las narrativas entre los actores estudiados, particularmente en referencia al aporte de las prácticas a la sustentabilidad del agroecosistema. El desacople es mayor entre productores y la academia, siendo necesario fomentar el trabajo transdisciplinario.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar las experiencias y resultados de la ejecución del proyecto de extensión universitaria titulado Invirtiendo en tu futuro financiero, llevado a cabo en la feria municipal La Placita de la ciudad de Encarnación, departamento de Itapúa, Paraguay. La iniciativa se desarrolló en el marco de la asignatura de Matemática III, perteneciente a la carrera de Ingeniería Comercial de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Administrativas de la Universidad Nacional de Itapúa, durante el año 2022. La implementación del proyecto tuvo la colaboración activa del docente de la cátedra, estudiantes y el Departamento de Extensión Universitaria. Para llevar a cabo este proyecto, se empleó una metodología participativa, lo que permitió la realización de diversos talleres y capacitaciones dirigidas a los trabajadores beneficiados. Estas actividades se centraron en brindar conocimientos y herramientas relacionadas con conceptos económicos y financieros, así como también el uso adecuado de préstamos. El enfoque también se extendió hacia nuevas oportunidades laborales, con el propósito de promover el progreso económico y social de los participantes. Los resultados obtenidos generaron un impacto positivo en la comunidad de trabajadores de La Placita.

Introducción: la interrelación entre los programas de educación de grado y posgrado en el entorno académico ha sido un tema recurrente en el ámbito de la educación superior. Objetivo: evaluar la vinculación entre los niveles de grado y posgrado en la Universidad Nacional Francisco Luis Espinoza Pineda (UNFLEP) de Nicaragua. Métodos: a través de un enfoque descriptivo-exploratorio y cualitativo basado en fuentes secundarias, se emplearon observaciones y entrevistas, que permitieron determinar la vinculación efectiva entre los dos niveles, lo cual se aprecia en la alineación entre sus planes operativos y las políticas del Consejo Nacional de Universidades, respaldada por un indicador de cumplimiento positivo. Resultados: se determinó que el reglamento de posgrado proporciona becas para que los egresados continúen su formación avanzada. La colaboración entre estudiantes de grado y posgrado en investigaciones se fortalece, fomentando la transferencia de conocimientos y la aplicación práctica. La extensión universitaria, integrada en el modelo, refuerza el compromiso social de la universidad. El estudio destaca dicha institución como un ejemplo de integración sólida y coherente entre grado y posgrado, apoyada por normativas y estrategias. Conclusiones: el modelo propuesto resalta rutas académicas claras, investigación colaborativa y proyectos de extensión para fortalecer la vinculación; por tanto, la evaluación constante asegurará su sostenibilidad, contribuyendo al progreso educativo y socioeconómico regional de manera imparcial hacia todas las partes involucradas.

This experience report presents the extension project Minicourse Shared Hosting in Community-Based Tourism (CBT), by the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina, whose objective was the professional training of CBT groups to offer accommodation in their residences. The self-instructional course, which lasted one month and had a workload of 20 hours, was created by an extensionist student of the Specialization in Technologies for Professional Education, under the guidance of the teacher, and addressed introductory subjects about tourism, hosting, sustainability and operational practices to be used in the day-to-day activities at CBT. A learning platform was organized with videos, infographics, podcast and others. The elaboration of these materials took place during the Specialization, mainly in its practical classes, using educational authoring tools. We had 47 registrations, and 16 participants were certified at the end. This report presents the context of the extension project, the process of creating and offering the Minicourse, the activities developed and the evaluation of the participants. The extensionist student experienced the creation of didactic resources for the digital environment and online teaching, in contact with the external community. The action provided knowledge dissemination about CBT and encouraged improvement in the area. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this study, we present the profile of science outreach actions conducted at the University for International Integration of the Afro-Brazilian Lusophony (UNILAB). We analyzed qualitative and quantitative data sourced from the Pro-Rectorate for Science Outreach, Arts and Cultures of the institution, based on two documents published in 2021 and 2022. Thus, we explore key parameters and references essential to science outreach in Brazil, situating the analysis within the current context of Brazilian higher education institutions, focusing on their academic and social relevance, as well as potentials and challenges encountered. We then identified and analyzed science outreach actions, taking into consideration thematic areas, registered and carried out actions, collaborations with academic units, engagements with civil and political agents, alignment with sustainable development objectives, methods of registration and assessment and project-specific needs. In 2016, the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de Santa Catarina (IFSC) published Resolution CONSUP/IFSC nº 61, to regulate its extension activities. From this, in order to encourage the development of these activities by students, since 2018, the Pró-Reitoria de Extensão e Relações Externas has launched public notices aimed at student protagonism. Therefore, the general objective of this research is to analyse the contribution of student training strategies to the qualification of the extension projects of these public notices. To this end, a case study was carried out with an applied qualitative approach, of an exploratory nature, using as a technical procedure the collection of data through bibliographical and documentary research and the application of experimental studies with student participants of the implementing teams of the selected projects. It was concluded that there was a significant contribution of student training strategies to the qualification of the extension projects of the public notices analysed. It was possible to observe this perception through the use of assumptions put forward by active methodologies, with a view to giving the institution's students a leading role. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The present study is an investigation into two experiences related to deprivation of liberty, developed at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, that consists of an extension program and a research project on sentence remission through reading. In this investigation, we aim to understand how research and extension complement each other in the training of undergraduate students. To achieve this, we draw from our experiences as research or extension students through an autobiographical approach and develop our narratives on the educational dimension, in which we are immersed as students of Pedagogy and Social Sciences. Initial results indicate the importance of the dialogue between extension and research, as we perceive in our experiences that both are in a dialogical relationship. Research contributes to mapping data, laws, theoretical frameworks to be used, and the practices that are developed. Extension, from the perspective of popular education, can promote dialogues of different knowledge, exchanges of proposals for action, and social intervention. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The Chemistry Leveling Courses, of an extension nature, aim to review the basic high school chemistry contents that will be worked on by teachers with university entrants. To this end, we sought to qualitatively characterize three of these actions, proposed in 2021, presenting their target audience, the chemistry courses organized and the feedback from course participants regarding the activities developed. The leveling extension actions were developed by university tutors and IQUFU teachers. We identified a diverse audience in the three versions, mainly composed of basic education students and those recently entering higher education, as well as some working professionals. The students come from different courses at the offering institution, with emphasis on Chemistry and Engineering students. A total of seven Chemistry Leveling Courses were offered during this period and based on the narratives of the course participants, their completion was essential for reviewing essential chemistry content. Thus, the development of these activities proved to be a promising path towards strengthening relations between the community and the university, in order to promote actions that improve the learning of the people involved. The University Extension is based on the relevance of the contact between undergraduate students and society, an interrelationship capable of generating social transformation. It aims to provide pedagogically professional practice and improvement, creating dialogue, exchange of knowledge. and contact with challenges, derived from a social commitment that surrounds the academy. In this context, extension programs are permanent actions that give structure in interprofessional, intersectoral, and interdisciplinary ways, oriented to a common goal that needs to be structured in the university and is based on the inseparability between extension, teaching, and research. Moreover, through many programs and extension projects that it has, UFCSPA offers the students experiences that foment responsible and critical formation of individuals. It stands out that the "Story Telling Extension Program in Health Promotion", for 15 years, has a purpose to provide humanized practical experiences between students and patients, using literature to create health care. This way, the history of the extension in Brazil emphasizes its importance and the need for appreciation of the academic projects and programs through the investment of the IES in institutionalizing these activities, generating a beneficial union between the academic and social environment. In this bibliographical essay, based on an epistemological discussion of popular education in Latin America, the categories of extension and communication are analyzed, focusing on the latter as a way of democratizing public spaces for popular expression of the working class and its emancipatory struggle. To this end, it is based on the hypothesis that popular education is in a constant dialectical exercise with its historical context, and is therefore interpreted based on contributions from various thinkers who focus on education and history. In the Latin American context, it adhered to the territorial outline of Argentina with a focus on the 20th century and experiences in the field of popular education at the beginning of the 21st century. Throughout the analyses, Communication was observed as a category that could be conceived only through democratic means, which can be demonstrated not only in media communication or in social organizations of the most diverse aspects, but also in educational processes, especially in popular education, which is undergoing a process of refoundation. This article shows teaching, research and extension actions focusing on the use of materioteca. The main objective is to promote the dissemination of sustainability knowledge in projects, taking as a starting point the material selection process. This article presents a materioteca with a new concept, where in addition to samples of materials and technical information, it presents a complete report on the economic, social and environmental sustainability of each material (ESA). Complementary extension actions include the development of comics, videos, models and prototypes. The initial results of the present research demonstrated that it is possible to provide designers with an analysis of the relative sustainability of each material compared to similar ones, providing a very relevant set of design information.

Tomando como insumo la etnografía realizada con objeto de la escritura de la tesis, pero realizando el recorte que demanda un artículo, me centraré en reconstruir tres puntos que dan cuenta de aspectos vinculados a la dimensión comunicativa, y que resultan ejemplos paradigmáticos de dimensiones constitutivas del vínculo entre cooperativistas y acompañantes, los cuales nos permiten advertir las huellas institucionales de la cárcel y la universidad en el modo de trabajo conjunto con la intención de advertir cómo se articulan, potencian o complejizan la relación en el marco de la experiencia extensionista. Asimismo, en las reuniones de producción los saberes jerarquizados se invertían en relación a los días de reunión general, y también el rol de lxs sujetxs. Lxs cooperativistas detentaban cierta autoridad en estos días, marcándose una asimetría en torno al saber que se construía de modo situacional y contextual – los días de producción primaban los saberes en torno a la tela, a diferencia de los días de reunión general, en los que primaba la palabra-, lo cual nos permite entender que los conocimientos que se ponen a dialogar deben ser comprendidos en vínculo con sus condiciones de enunciación y según el contexto. Son las diferencias las que se constituyen en punto de contacto y que deben hacerse inteligibles para el diálogo y trabajo con otrxs, las cuales pueden ser entendidas como saberes prácticos que se entrelazan con otros saberes en la experiencia, o en el “mientras tanto” se buscan otros diálogos de saberes conceptuales.

We know that there are African and indigenous manifestations in Brazil that need to be recognized for their cultural and educational values. Based on this, this article aims to present the results of an Extension Project conducted at the Federal University of Amazonas. For this, a training meeting was offered for teachers from a municipal school, promoting theoretical discussions and workshops, so that activities could be conducted in schools later. Debates were raised, as well as the recognition and implementation of planning activities on this theme in the school context, seeking to strengthen the work in an interdisciplinary perspective, in addition to exchanging experiences in this school/academic community relationship, combating negative stereotypes and prejudices that are perpetuated in both Brazilian and Amazonian societies around Afro-Brazilian and indigenous cultures. The Tutorial Education Program (PET) emerges in higher education as an important tool for implementing the teaching-research-extension pillars to encourage the academic, professional, and human development of students, employees and other beneficiaries of the initiative. The objective of this work was to analyze the contributions of PET Integration linked to a public university located in northeastern Brazil with a focus on extensionist practice in a pandemic situation and in the face of the new social reality. Bibliographic research with a qualitative-descriptive approach was used to provoke reflections on how the program can act in exceptional emergency situations. Faced with the cancellation of face-to-face activities, there was a need for adaptation. Despite the challenges presented, it was possible to maintain quality, enable an integrated view of the social context, expand the frontiers of knowledge, enable the dissemination and socialization of scientific knowledge produced beyond academic spaces, providing the group with the development of protagonism and feeling of excellence. The importance of extension projects for teacher training is noticeable, as well as the social relevance of actions aimed at education and scientific dissemination. Thus, we seek to discuss how extension projects of the Institute of Biology at Universidade de Brasília (UnB) contribute to education and scientific dissemination through the analysis of the activities developed. The methodology consists of document analysis of extension projects, in addition to questionnaires aimed at coordinators and extension workers. The found results demonstrate how the curricularization of extension actions is seen as an opportunity to increase participation at UnB, but it requires incentives, bureaucratic improvements, financial support, greater faculty involvement, and the need for guidance in student education. Furthermore, it emphasizes the importance of creating and maintaining extension initiatives focused on scientific dissemination, with methods of analysis and evaluation to enhance these actions. El artículo se centra en la memoria metodológica y la forma en que se construyó la relación docencia, investigación y extensión del proceso investigativo-formativo realizado por la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanas de la Universidad de Antioquia en convenio con el Fondo de Pensiones Protección S. A. en cinco ciudades de Colombia: Rionegro, Bogotá, Cali, Pereira y Medellín, con la participación de 202 cuidadores formales, informales y voluntarios de adultos mayores entre agosto de 2018 y marzo de 2020. La investigación que da origen al artículo analizó los significados del cuidado que construyen los cuidadores de personas mayores en las cinco ciudades, la cual se realizó desde la perspectiva cualitativa con modalidad etnográfica particularista y colaborativa. Este artículo pone en evidencia que la articulación de los tres ejes misionales universitarios de extensión-docencia-investigación permite una triple respuesta desde la universidad. En clave de extensión, permite abordar un tema de interés nacional, como lo es el acelerado envejecimiento y visibilizar a los cuidadores. La creación del espacio de formación posibilitó en los cuidadores la transformación de significados del cuidado y el sentido de las interacciones con otros sujetos que hacen parte del proceso de cuidar. Por último, da cuenta de la importancia de incluir en los procesos de extensión ejercicios investigativos que logren dar soporte científico a las intervenciones sociales promovidas por la universidad.

El objetivo del artículo es proponer una perspectiva de las transformaciones de las prácticas de extensión universitaria en la Argentina durante la primera mitad del siglo xx. Se analiza su surgimiento en organizaciones de la sociedad civil dirigidas por profesores y profesionales universitarios a principios de siglo. Luego se analizan las prácticas de extensión desarrolladas formalmente en las Universidades de La Plata, Litoral, Tucumán y Buenos Aires. Se subraya la transformación desde un modelo de extensión orientado a la formación política de los sectores populares a otro destinado a la difusión masiva de novedades en el campo de la ciencia y la cultura. Se vinculan estos cambios con las transformaciones políticas y el predominio de un clima social cada vez más moderado y conservador sobre todo desde los años 20.

This article presents the Extension Project Take this Song as a Kiss and extracts, from its actions, theoretical and clinical reflections on the work carried out. It aims to record the trajectory of shared work between the project coordination, extension workers, and external collaborators to sustain the possibility that the distance imposed by isolation could be reduced through voice messages and sending songs. The scenario of the birth of the extension action is resumed, as well as the partnerships necessary for its realization, the shared design of the work, and, finally, presenting considerations on effects collected on the various people involved. We reflect on our work in some dimensions: 1. as a strategy of dialogue with the community - in times of pandemic; 2. as an interinstitutional and transdisciplinary practice that refers to the concern with the integrality of health care and with the complexity of the training of students/extensionists; 3. as an exercise of an ethic of care based on sensitive listening. This article presents an analysis of how university extension was presented in federal legislation from the Statute of Universities (1931) - which instituted the university regimen in Higher Education in Brazil - until the projection of extension actions to curricula, foreseen in the National Education Plans (2001-2010; 2014-2024), and regulated by CNE Resolution N°. 7/2018. This article is the result of documental and historiographical research, based on the assumptions of Social History, especially the concept of the long duration of history. For the analysis of the different types of regulations, the content analysis proposed by Bardin (2011) was used, in which the following keywords were listed in the reading of the documents: extension, extension-teaching, extension-research, teaching, research and teaching-researchextension. As main results, we highlight: a) the various extensions presented in the federal legislation; b) role of the Federal Constitution of 1988 in instituting extension as inseparable from teaching and research in universities; c) CNE Resolution No. 7/2018, as a framework for university extension. This article analyzes partial results of an outreach project offered by a higher education institution in southeastern Brazil that aimed to internationalize the outreach mission and extend the internationalization mission of the university through the support to small and medium-sized companies, thus focusing on the 3rd (outreach) and 4th (internationalization) missions of the university. To this end, a study was carried out in a small coffee-producing company participating in the project. The methodological approach adopted was that of a case study used to analyze the data collected through observations made during technical visits that involved capacity building and conversations with the owners and employees, in addition to a questionnaire answered by the company manager. The results of the study analysis highlighted the relevance of the university’s third and fourth missions through this project and its contribution to society. The study concludes with the suggestion of integrating the outreach and internationalization missions in projects like the one described here to bring the university closer to the community, fostering human, social, and economic development of society at its various levels, local, national, and global. Based on the theoretical presuppositions of Usage-Based Functional Linguistics, this work aims to propose an analysis of four additive extension chunks attested in Portuguese: além de tudo, além do mais, além da contaand além do que. These chunks, derived from the schematic network [Além de X,Y], are investigated in terms of compositionality and analyzability (cf. BYBEE, 2016). The data analysis is done from a synchronic and quali-quantitative perspective, based on posts from the Twitter social network. The results demonstrate that the four mentioned chunks are arranged in a gradient scale that reflects different levels of syntactic-semantic integration. Furthermore, each chunk has its specific usage and is recruited for different communication purposes.

The pandemic imposed a forced period of isolation on everyone. In higher education we have seen worsening situations such as technological inequality and the unpreparedness of students and teachers to live in this virtual and abnormal period. In university extension, particularly, we find ourselves between “virtual work and the need for in-person” and we have seen assistance grow. In journalism courses, this period was marked by even greater anguish that involved technology, lack of eye contact and a certain accommodation, perhaps the result of the perplexity that affected everyone. As a backdrop to these long days of distancing, are the changes seen in legal precepts including PNE 2014-2024 and Resolution 7, from December 2018, the difficulty in innovating curricula asit requires a broader view, the understanding of university extension that still faces estrangements and many tensions caused by the inseparability of teaching, research and extension. We discuss a proposal to make and teach scientific journalism based on the experience of AE - Agência Escola UFPR, created in 2018 to dialogue with the public about science beyond the walls of the university. In this article, the focus is on the training of fellows who participated in a course on scientific journalism with market professionals and academics from various institutions. Through theory and practice, the role of science journalism is brought into the context of public communication of science. - Abstract
This article sought to analyze how the program Xeque Mate, from TV Universitária, based in Rio Grande do Norte, has contributed to the training of social communication students at UFRN, through teaching and extension activities. For this, was carried out a case study (Yin, 2015) of the trajectories of both TVU and the program, in addition to interviews with the students who produced the attraction in the first half of 2022. The study also included bibliographic research. This investigation is justified by the need to understand the social practices of teaching and extension at the university, in addition to contributing to the development of knowledge on the subject. In this study, it was possible to verify that the program has been the first opportunity for many students to practice telejournalism. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

En el contexto deportivo, los proyectos sociales están orientados al desarrollo psicosocial y la formación integral de sus participantes en diferentes épocas, a través de la oferta de acciones que buscan el desarrollo de aspectos físicos, técnicos, tácticos, personales, educativos, sociales y emocionales, que reflexionar directamente sobre la mejora de la calidad de vida. Objetivo: informar y registrar las experiencias de formación deportiva de los niños que participan en un proyecto de extensión del baloncesto en intercambios deportivos internacionales. Metodología: estudio descriptivo, del tipo relato de experiencia. En este estudio participaron niños de ambos sexos, de entre 10 y 12 años, participantes del Programa Baloncesto para Todos (PBT), proyecto social desarrollado en las instalaciones de la Universidad del Estado de Santa Catarina (Udesc) Florianópolis (SC/Brasil). La información fue reportada por los participantes (niños y maestros) que participaron en los viajes. Desarrollo: entre las actividades realizadas en el proyecto, destacan las experiencias internacionales vividas por los deportistas en los años 2015, 2017, 2018 y 2020, para ampliar las experiencias de entrenamiento en Estados Unidos, Italia y México. Consideraciones finales: las experiencias fueron de fundamental importancia para los participantes, ya que además de las experiencias deportivas, viajaron a otros países, conociendo otras culturas, las cuales ofrecieron elementos importantes para la formación deportiva y personal de los participantes en el proyecto social.

Este artículo tiene la intención de compartir una propuesta pedagógica en la formación de Profesores en Educación Física, que se llevó a cabo para abrir las posibilidades a los estudiantes de realizar prácticas docentes en distintos ámbitos de desempeño e intervención. Dicha propuesta pedagógica, se implementó en cátedras de prácticas, que tienen como uno de sus objetivos el ingreso de los estudiantes a escuelas de los sistemas formales de educación y el desempeño como enseñantes en clases de Educación Física. Por los debates que se venían dando, surgía como necesaria la implementación de otras prácticas, no solo las escolares, para posibilitar el análisis de situaciones desde otras perspectivas y contrastar lógicas diferentes y diversas. Fue así que, la propuesta pedagógica de formación de profesores en Educación Física, consistió en articular los procesos de formación y las acciones de un proyecto de extensión que venía desarrollándose desde antes de tomar esta decisión. En este sentido, el enseñar a enseñar Educación Física es una cuestión compleja que representa un proceso dinámico. Por este motivo, en esta oportunidad, se presenta una alternativa posible que articula extensión y docencia y, que posibilita ampliar debates sobre las prácticas docentes y las prácticas de la enseñanza.

This article uses three theoretical axes (public communication, university extension and interculturality) to understand perceptions of social actors in two extension projects of the Nucleus of Afro-Brazilian and Indigenous Studies (NEABI), of the Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR). The question "how can public communication contribute to the development of extension related to the intercultural actions of the analyzed projects?" motivates this exploratory study, with a qualitative approach. The methodological procedures adopted are: bibliographic review, documentary research, systematic observation, survey with project participants, interviews and content analysis. Possibilities of building communication were observed as a dialogical process as a way of enriching the exchange of knowledge between the public involved. The results are part of the research carried out in the master's degree in Communication at Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
