There is a gap of empirical studies about the economic incentives and funding models of disinformation industries and initiatives in Brazil. The objective of this paper is to offer an analysis of programmatic advertisements that are displayed in stories from the far-right website Terra Brasil Notícias. To do this, we developed a native ad data scraping script from the MGID company, composing a database of 27,602 insertions over the course of a month. We found a farm network of content and ads containing viruses, gambling houses, financial scams, and miraculous body weight reduction substances. At the end of the paper, we discuss the contributions to the literature on misinformation and point to avenues for future studies. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

POLITICAL attitudes , *GAMBLING , *SOCIAL attitudes , *SOCIAL reality , *HISTORICAL analysis ,BRITISH history - Abstract
Gambling in British history and the way in which the country has approached this multi-faceted phenomenon may be divided into different moments, each marked by their own social and political attitude in terms of the way in which the activity was perceived socially and how it should be tackled by the government. The following article makes a historical and legal-dogmatic analysis of the various types of legislation, doctrines, and policies on gambling to present, analyze, and catalogue these different moments, exposing the general attitude to the activity at the time, as well as the social, political, and economic shifts that conditioned them and the impact these had on the norms and policies of each era. In the end, we observe that, despite the discrepancies between the legal situation and the social reality of gambling throughout the United Kingdom's history, it is possible to point to three different systems applied to gambling. These are: the prohibitionist system, the restrictive system of social regulation, and the liberal system of economic regulation. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

BOARD games , *GAMEBOARDS , *GAMBLING , *MIDDLE Ages , *CASTLES - Abstract
Despite prescriptions against gambling, the Islamic contexts of al-Andalus have shown not a few testimonies of the so-called board games (tāb), which oppose two people. Also in the Castle of Silves, a place occupied at least since Late Antiquity, with periods of cultural flourishing between the 8th and the mid-13th century, emerged, in the Muslim levels excavated directed by one of us (RVG), game boards, in portable stone supports, but also fixed, engraved on floors. Discoid game marks, made in stone, ceramic or bone, with different dimensions, as other game pieces made in those same materials were also exhumed, which would have been part of board games. Although numerous game boards are known, it is not uncommon for those, from the Middle Ages or earlier, to which a safe chronology can be attributed, which does not occur with the examples from Castelo de Silves, which come from strata and precise locations. Playing has pedagogics, competitive, inter-active, strategic, ethics, creative, ludic, emotional or cognitive, but also oracular, even ritual implications, and are a cultural identifier, given it handles with symbols, and can often constitute a metaphor for aspects of human life. COMPULSIVE gambling , *PSYCHODYNAMIC psychotherapy , *COMPULSIVE gamblers , *LEISURE , *GAMBLING - Abstract
Gambling may be a leisure activity, but overdoing it can lead to adverse consequences such as Gambling Disorder. Despite the serious damage caused by the disorder, both Gambling Disorder and its treatment strategies are little known in Brazil. This study investigates Gambling Disorder and its treatment, emphasizing the contributions of the psychodynamic approach. The paper presents the main psychodynamic hypotheses in the literature and comments on the psychodynamic psychotherapy carried out in facilities treating pathological gamblers in São Paulo, such as the Pathological Gambling Outpatient Program (PRO-AMJO) of the Psychiatric Institute of Hospital das Clínicas (IPq HC-FMUSP). Finally, some examples of pathological gambler profiles are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The term »lottery fever« describes an extraordinary spread of lotteries in numerous German territories during the 1770s and 1780s. The most important types of lotteries were class lotteries and number lotteries (lotto), many of which were domiciled in Frankfurt’s neighbouring territories. Initially, the Frankfurt City Council saw no need to restrict the emerging lottery market, probably because the dangers of the volatile number lotteries that scored points with low stakes and astronomical profit expectations were underestimated. They mainly attracted poorer city dwellers. The city of Frankfurt even tried to set up a number lottery of its own. The first regulation of number lotteries in 1772 was meant to ensure regular concessions for charitable foundations from the lottery companies. However, concessions were only paid sporadically. In addition, number lotteries had proven to be lucrative for surrounding territories. Thus, cut- throat territorial battles developed using lotteries, with the city council loosing influence. The imperial city of Frankfurt thus became a pawn in the financial interests of the surrounding territories. An unsuccessful ban on betting in 1779 was therefore followed in 1780 by a complete ban on number lotteries, which also failed to achieve exclusion. The ban was circumvented by resourceful lottery collectors using extraterritorial areas within Frankfurt. Only through the intervention of external factors, which led to the end of number lotteries outside Frankfurt, could this chapter be closed for the city council.

ECONOMIC indicators , *DERIVATIVE securities , *STOCK options , *TIME series analysis , *GAMBLING - Abstract
The analogy between the problem of a player who bets money iteratively in a game of chance and a random walker in one dimension with an absorbing boundary is well known. These and other connections between finance and physics motivated the emergence of the field of econophysics in the 1990s. Since the subject matter is still not well known at the level of undergraduate physics programs, here we first review some basic concepts, such as martingales, financial derivatives and stock options. Our objectives are the following: (i) to explain how binary options work; (ii) to simulate stochastically the behavior of the balance sheet curve for different hit rates; (iii) to run tests of the success rates for the stochastic oscillator indicator in financial time series of historical data. This indicator is widely used by binary option traders, so it is an ideal illustrative example. Our results show that it is difficult to obtain consistent profits, even using strategies based on martingales or “Soros leveraging to recover previous losses. The empirical characterization of this difficulty may help to make clearer the unpredictability and high degree of complexity of the behavior seen in financial markets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Bibliometric study ,VOSviewer ,Gambling ,Gambling disorder - Abstract

This dissertation is based on the analysis of the application of learning scenarios using tangible programmable objects in order to work the curriculum in the context of the school library of the 1st cycle of basic education, trying to understand its influence on the learning of the students involved. To this end, the research objectives were set as the analysis of the level of impact of this type of activities in improving students' learning and school results in conjunction with a reflection on the role of the School Library in the context of internal teacher training in the creation and use of these learning scenarios. A literature review on the topic was carried out and a practice-based case study was developed with 1st cycle classes. Multiple sources of information were used for data collection: observation grids, the application of a pre and post session knowledge check questionnaire, and in-depth interviews with the teachers involved. The results obtained show that the creation of learning scenarios involving programming and robotics, through the application of active methodologies such as gamification, allow for an interdisciplinary exploration of reading and other curricular contents, where knowledge becomes more substantial and permanent for students.

The research we are presenting responds to a twofold purpose. On the one hand, we have studied the advertising regulation about online sports betting focusing on the protection of minors in Spain. On the other hand, we want to know the adolescent perception of online gambling, specifically in sports betting. Therefore, four groups of discussion have been conducted with advertising stimulus, with 35 adolescents aged between 13 and 17 years. This qualitative technique offers a detailed approximation to the experiences, beliefs and relationships between young people and gambling. Likewise, the review carried out on the current legislation, which regulates the communications of gambling in Spain for the protection of the minor, presents important deficiencies. All these deficiencies have been infringing the rights of children, especially in the mobile environment.

Increasingly, the virtual universe and its resources are inserted in the daily lives of individuals and social relationships, being a phenomenon to which the Law, as well as other fields of knowledge, directs its attention. Tracing the legal limits of the expansion of digital resources is a search that reaches the academy and the courts, aiming to guarantee the protection of individuals in different dimensions of their lives. It is in this context that loot boxes – also called “reward boxes” – are inserted, a mechanism created for the monetization of virtual games, in which players can buy keys that open such boxes, however, without knowing which item is stored in your insides. The randomness of this system and the strong adherence of the juvenile public, added to the high amounts spent by players in search of rare items, aroused the concern of several governments that started to see loot boxes as a potential form of gambling. On the other hand, defenders of the system claim that this association is erroneous, since the player-buyer does not lose, as there is always some reward inside the boxes. In this sense, this dissertation aimed to present an overview of the debate, starting from the conceptualization of games, their categories and social function, giving special emphasis to virtual games and their monetization as a practice of the games industry. The loot box system, its origin and impacts were presented so that it is possible to understand, further on, the scope of the legal-social discussion about it in different countries. Finally, as a case study, the case of Brazil is presented, analyzing the legislation in force in the territory and a lawsuit that calls for the prohibition of loot boxes. It was concluded that modifications to certain aspects of the loot box system, such as the way they are presented and the categories of rewards, can avoid the need for further regulation and a complete ban in countries where gambling is prohibited. In addition, it was concluded that Brazil lacks legislation aimed at the phenomenon and updates to the existing legal provisions for decision-making.

For Hume, philosophy is in itself neither more nor less important than other human activities. On the contrary, it can be explained from its resemblance with game and hunting. If one chooses to dedicate himself to philosophy, his decision is not the consequence of logical reasoning, but depends on practical evaluation, which has something to do with gambling. The following text tries to show that in philosophy, like in other games, the loser will be the one who plays too earnestly. The philosophical game requires good humour and some relaxation: Is this a good answer to Pascal's pari?

The article aimed to characterize pathological gambling, showing the main consequences of this disorder. Bibliographic survey on this theme was conducted, covering both national and international literature. Publications whose main findings emphasized related prevalence, social and economic costs, gambling legalization and resulting impact on public health, were selected. High suicide rate, comorbidity with other psychiatric disorders, family and work problems, and illicit behavior were consequences reported. The prevalence of this disorder is higher in countries that have legalized gambling and in Brazil there is evidence of growth in the number of pathological gamblers. The development of national research is fundamental to define public policies that are adequate for the Brazilian context.

METHODS: Seventy-four outpatients from three different substance abuse treatment services were interviewed. The South Oaks Gambling Screen (SOGS) scale was used for the diagnosis of pathological gambling. The diagnosis of alcohol and other substances abuse was established according to the DSM-IV criteria and the Short Alcohol Dependence Data (SADD) scale. The Portuguese version of the Self-Report Questionnaire (SRQ) scale was used to detect psychiatric symptoms and the Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D) for depressive symptoms. Average scores obtained from the application of these scales were compared using the Student t-test. RESULTS: All subjects met the criteria for drug abuse, 61.6% met the alcohol dependence criteria, 60.3% for cocaine/crack, and 34.2% for cannabis. According to the SOGS scale, the majority of drug addicts (70.3%) were classified as social gamblers, 10.8% as problem gamblers and 18.9% as pathological gamblers. Psychiatric and depression symptoms were found in the sample. Pathological gambling patients showed more depression symptoms than non-pathological gambling patients. CONCLUSIONS: A high frequency of pathological gambling was found among the drug addicts interviewed. It is emphasized the importance of investigating pathological gambling among patients under treatment of drug abuse and to include strategies for the treatment of this disorder.

STRATEGIC planning , *TWENTY-first century , *SOCIAL facts , *ORGANIZATION management , *TWENTIETH century - Abstract
Analyzing the work in the context of the end of the twentieth century and the beginning of the twenty-first century represents the idea about multiplicity, multiple causality and transversality. It is a complex phenomenon, increasingly multifaceted and heterogeneous. To understand that, requires making choices and asking central issues that can advance in construction of knowledge in the area. The structural analysis of the "strategic organizations" and the relationships that are established in this field, is central to our discussion, considering that this model of strategic management is one of the main tools of monopoly-finance capitalism. The strategical organizations develops political methods of administration in distance (emotional management of psychic capturation), extends an ideology, a religion of the company and thus get a faithful adherence of its members, through the influence of these unconscious structures of personality. The analysis of relations established in the games, especially in gambling - the ways of life developed in and through it - as well as their malaises becomes promising if glimpsed the analytical lens of political management of the strategic organizations, since both show as social phenomena with subjective processes that allow a reading of psychic, political, ethical, features and also anthropological that makes up our society. The theoretical framework of the study was the psycho sociology. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

For centuries, gambling and betting have been seen as a reprehensible and harmful phenomenon, not only because of its incompatibility with religious ideals, but also due to the ethical and moral issues with which they are associated. Although, and besides the fact that is not a consensual phenomenon, the constant growth that it has had in recent years is undeniable, not only at a national level, but also internationally, especially in what comes to on-line gambling and betting, given the exponential technological development of digital media. Thus, it is very relevant to study this current topic. The empirical subject of the investigation is related to the alteration of the current tax model, for a model based on the principle of real income taxation. This investigation allowed to conclude that, in fact, the modification of the tax model would be very beneficial for the exploiting entities, since the profits would increase and consequently the economic-financial performance would be greatly strengthened. However, for the State, this change would not be positive, since the revenue collected through the tax load would decrease considerably. Thus, it is evident that the tax option for real income would be quite beneficial, since it increases the attractiveness of the sector and the interest of possible new investors to enter the gambling and betting market. It should also be noted that the option for real income preserves the principle of ability to pay, a principle that, according to the tax model in force, can be called into question. info:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersion

Pathological gambling is a disorder of impulse control that is gaining more and more attention. This paper reviews diagnostic criteria and screening instruments for pathological gambling, as well as the prevalence rates of this disorder worldwide, with an emphasis on gambling in Brazil. Treatments for pathological gambling are also described, including both psychosocial and pharmacological approaches. Pathological gambling is highly comorbid with other psychiatric disorders, including substance abuse and depression, and few pathological gamblers seek treatment for their gambling problems. Therefore, direct screening for gambling problems is recommended. Increasing education about the disorder, from both the provider and societal perspective, is necessary to reduce the personal and societal consequences of this disorder.

HEDONISM , *UTILITARIANISM , *PHILOSOPHY , *PLEASURE , *GAMBLING - Abstract
We play because it's fun and it gives us pleasure, but what, exactly, does that mean? This article explores the connection between the act of gaming and a philosophy of pleasure, that of utilitarian hedonism. Hedonism in this context is not just a system of thought concerning itself with enjoyment and pleasure, but a way to look at gaming as a moral act. The article poses two main questions: Is it possible to study pleasure, and can gaming be enjoyed not just for its mechanisms and social value, but also for its value as a model for and a part of a morally good life? To facilitate this discussion, this article draws heavily on the philosophy of utilitarian hedonism, positioning hedonism not as a system of reckless indulgence, but as a philosophy of communal effort towards a general increase in the level of enjoyment for all involved. By drawing on experience with as well as research on gamer behavior and knowledge of game systems, this article demonstrates how gaming can be seen as a lesson in the importance of increasing pleasure for all. By looking at the use of and meaning of the concept of pleasure, current game research is drawn into question. The many attempts of research to isolate simple formulas for "the good game" appear flawed and simplistic from this point of view. The philosophy of hedonism argues that "good", "pleasurable" and "fun" are very subjective concepts, and that while a large group of people may agree that a game is "good", this agreement may not come from a common agreement about what exactly makes the game good. It is in the nature of pleasure to be individual, subjective and situational, which defies attempts at creating a formula for enjoyment both for researchers and designers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Abstract: This article draws a parallel between the Odyssey events and the exploration of gambling. To do so, freely using various philosophical approaches, it is argued that the human being is naturally a player, with a freedom that is restricted from the emergence of the State. This one, having its unfoldings represented by Calypso, Scylla and Charybdis, will have to harmonize this nature with its sovereign power, regulating the exploration of gambling.

Despite the popularity of betting practice in the turf this activity points to a moral boundary that exists in its daily life. During horseracing an alert signal is constantly triggered to the limits that each individual has with the bets. Here, one tries to understand how the category "addiction" [in the game] is imputed of stigmatizing and accusatory values, in two different spaces. The first is organized for betting in comparison with other spaces where the abstinence of this activity is predicted. I refer here to "gambling houses" and regular meetings of self-help groups called Gamblers Anonymous. The comparison seeks to understand the disputes about the moral of the game as a "field" in the mold of Bourdieu (2004) from the construction of narratives that will present the game as a more or less dangerous activity.

Games are present in all phases of human life and some of them are considered game of chance. Game theory is a branch of mathematics concerned in decision models where the goal is to gain, and is applicable to several behavioral studies including economics, political science, psychology, and logic. The games studied in this theory have well de ned elements such as players, information and actions. In this work we will see that games of chance are games that are more likely to be defeated than win, we will deal with some well known and common games such as: Poker, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Lottery as the Mega-Sena. Show how these games work, their stories and the odds of a player to be successful in playing, in order to show mathematically the real chances of winning when playing these famous games. This work aims at analyzing the trajectory of urban modernization in Fortaleza, mainly between the 1930s and 1940s, demonstrating social tensions about fun activities and entertainment and see how newspapers denounced and criticized the city's problems, built meshes to enlarge disciplinary actions, managed the resizing of the city of Fortaleza as a strategy to imprison the entertainment according to the social groups on the scene. From the analysis of articles in newspapers, processes, crimes and other texts, we tried to understand the "civilizing" situation in the course of the first half of the twentieth century, and the contention that sought to define, assume and end essentially popular entertainments, commonly they shared the space for practices that were considered immoral. Thus, the concerns of those means which bequeathed representations of Fortaleza that destined disciplining strategies on popular practices. Between different discourses of complaints, they led the resistance of everyday practices, gambling survived the incarceration and continue s to spurn the written more than those who are educated for the pleasure of gambling. What is at stake is the game itself, the distancing of entertainment among different social categories.

The demand for lottery products in Portugal: A socio-economic analysis. This project has two components. The first, consists of an historical panel data analysis, comprising data from 15 years of nearly 100 countries. The other, consists of a panel data analysis covering 22 Portuguese districts and five years. Our results suggest that richer countries, with lower educational level and greater percentage of older people consume more lottery products. The results also suggest that men play more than women and that there is a positive relationship between religion and lottery gambling. Nationally, our results found that richer Portuguese districts spend more and that there is an inverted-U relationship between lottery sales and per capita income. The results also showed that married Catholic citizens spend more on lottery products than others and that the level of education returns a negative effect on lottery spending. Comparing the results from Portugal with the ones found internationally, it was found that the lotteries consumption in Portugal is higher, than the European and World averages, meaning that Portuguese people have a higher propensity to play the lottery.

In most countries, regardless of the respective level of development, there is a market which has a distinct dynamics in relation with the remaining markets, i.e. the market of Gambling. In particular, the topic of this Thesis concerns to the dynamics of the abovementioned Market of Social Games, which is framed within the general Gambling Market. To achieve the abovementioned, a questionnaires research method was implemented, distributing these questionnaires across the points of sale of the largest distributor of Social Games in Portugal, i.e. “Casa da Sorte”. The consumers were provided with such questionnaires on a random basis during the time of playing Thereby sufficient and appropriate quantitative information about consumers were collected, contributing to profile the consumer in the markets at stake. By way of general conclusion, the results of the research sample revealed that the profile of Social Games consumers is homogeneous. In fact, according to such results, the behavior of consumers during the process of betting is influenced by their common demographic characteristics.

In Portugal, from 1927 onwards, the legalization and regulation of chance games allowed the establishment of a permanent gaming zone in Estoril, in the municipality of Cascais. However, from 1914 onwards, the transformation of Estoril was already predictable as a consequence of the establishment of an international “maritime, climatic, spa and sports resort”. The latter was materialized through a major urban planning project which included, amongst other tourism infrastructures, a casino. The casino inauguration, in 1931, contributed by means of taxes and other financial returns to the completion of several relevant works and equipments which fostered indelibly the development of the municipality of Cascais, namely in terms of the construction of hotels, sea bathing complexes, swimming pools, restaurants, golf courses, tennis courts and parks, among others. In the 1980s, the municipality of Cascais was already widely recognized as an outstanding national and international tourism destination. Nonetheless, given the social needs and tourism-related constraints of the municipality, the state decided to invest whether a part of the special gaming taxes or contractual obligations on essential primary infrastructures. Thus, major improvements were carried out, namely the construction of the Costa do Estoril sewage system, the increase of the number golf courses available, and the construction of a congress centre. Further developments included likewise, museums, the recovery of preexisting venues and the creation of the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies. In the same decade, the influence of this gaming zone reverberated in the neighboring municipalities of Oeiras, Sintra and Mafra which likewise were allocated grants from the taxes on gaming by the state, thus allowing their development.

This dissertation addresses the relationship established between the practices of gambling and the role of these practices in public debates on modernization. Two types of primary sources were analyzed: the legal speeches made in the political field and the sources of police and criminal justice, the latter depicting the repression of recreational practices. It was noticed that, among the persecuted gambling games, the numbers game (Brazilian jogo do bicho) was placed in an outstanding position according to the analyzed documentation. The social problem of gambling, however, dates back to the Nineteenth Century. Since that time these games are seen both as instigators of codes of masculinity (inclusively shared with the police), and as a delicate public issue, since it was immoral for the State to make profit through the lotteries. The numbers game became one of the main authorities’ concerns from the end of the Nineteenth Century on due to its popularity and its national scope. Between 1904-1906, there was a repressive campaign against the numbers game in Porto Alegre (southern Brazil), which highlighted the forms of social control existing at the time. The changes in police and in the criminal justice promoted by the government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul in the late Nineteenth Century increased the State’s power to penalize by strengthening police authorities. It was also noticed that the police authorities who commanded the crackdown later allied themselves with the bankers who were pursued during the campaign of 1904-1906, which denotes police corruption.

Objective: To study adolescent gambling behavior in a representative sample of the Brazilian population, which allows: a) to investigate the extent to which adolescents participate in gambling activities in a developing country, b) to provide the first estimate of problem and pathological gambling among Brazilian adolescents using an age-specific instrument, and c) to compare different levels of gambling behavior according to demographic and gambling variables. Method: A multistage cluster sampling procedure was used to select 3,007 individuals over 14 years of age, of both sexes, from all over the country. A total of 661 participants were between 14 and 17 years old. The Lie/Bet Questionnaire and the DSM-IV-MR-J were used for assessing problem and pathological gambling. Results: Of a total of 661 adolescents, 7% reported gambling participation in the preceding months, 2.8% scored positive on the screening questionnaire, while 1.6% were classified as problem and pathological gamblers. At multivariate analysis, factors associated with problem and pathological gambling were male sex, not currently studying and considering religion as a non-important issue. For these adolescents, less than four months elapsed between the age of regular gambling involvement and the age of the first gambling problem. Conclusion: Although the Brazilian adolescent’s participation in gambling activities was much lower than usually reported from developed countries, prevalence rate of adolescent problem and pathological gambling in this survey was quite similar from recent studies which used nationally representative samples. The association between problem and pathological gambling with male sex, school drop-out and low religiosity supports the theory that heavy gambling is part of a constellation of highrisk and deviant behaviors which cluster together in adolescence. The fast progression to problem gambling adds evidence that adolescents may be more vulnerable to the effects of gambling.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the frequency of pathological gambling among alcohol and other substance abusers who sought specialized treatment.

The expansion of casino concessions and subsequent growth of employment and gross domestic product (GDP) per Capita in Macau after the 1999 handover from Portugal created an illusion of prosperity in a post-colonial territory of less than 30 sq. km. A Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), it is the only place in China where adults can legally gamble in casinos. This paper, using interviews with local residents, argues that the imagined category of “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” coined by local authorities’ masks an illicit occult economy. The paper argues that the miraculous swiftness of GDP per capital, employment and budget surplus growth, was a result of a new post-colonial elite looking backwards into its colonial past. The paper argues that while the “World Centre of Tourism and Leisure” is a political construct and key hegemonic project to keep citizens in a hyper-real world of simulacra and control, it is at the cost of everyday gossip, caution, self-censorship and demoralization.

Objective: To validate the Gambling Follow-up Scale, Self-Report version (GFS-SR), a 10-item scale designed to assess gambling frequency, time and money spent on gambling, gambling craving, debts, emotional distress, family relationships, autonomy, and frequency of and satisfaction with leisure activities in individuals diagnosed with gambling disorder according to the DSM-5 criteria. Methods: One hundred and twenty treatment-seeking gamblers were evaluated, 84 of whom proceeded to treatment. Fifty-two relatives provided collateral informant reports at baseline. Six months later, the 50 patients who completed the program were reassessed. Results: The GFS-SR showed good inter-rater agreement and internal consistency. Factor analysis presented a three-factor solution: gambling behavior (factor 1); social life (factor 2); and personal hardship (factor 3). There was a high degree of convergence between GFS-SR scores and those of reference scales. The GFS-SR scores showed excellent sensitivity to change (factor 1), predictive validity for treatment response (factor 2), and ability to distinguish recovered from unrecovered patients after treatment (factor 3). A cutoff score of 33 was found to have 87% sensitivity and 80% specificity for gambling recovery. Conclusion: The GFS-SR is well suited to providing reliable follow-up of gamblers under treatment and assessing the efficacy of their treatment.
