NOBEL Prize in Physiology or Medicine , *WOMEN scientists , *NOBEL Prizes , *NOBEL Prize winners , *SCIENTISTS - Abstract
The paper brings forward some of many achievements of women scientists in the 20th and 21st century medicine. Their essential contributions changed the medical specialities to the present day. The first and perhaps best known laureate is Marie Sklodowska-Curie, who is also the only scientist to win two Nobel Prizes in two different sciences. In total, there were twelve women honored with the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. Some of them also showed interest in other fields, like ethics. The most remarcable traits of these female Nobel laureates were ambition, open-mindedness and patience. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The new infrastructure for communication has become more and more reliable and used in the past few years. Besides the social communication, science also benefits from the faster Internet services. One of the fields that benefits from the communication over the internet is also the medical field from the communications in research, health care but also in medical education. The authors review the short Internet history starting from 1969 covering over 30 years of continuous evolution. Meanwhile ethic problems emerged and were reported especially by the „Pontifical Council for Social Communications“ but also other organisations. In the second part of the paper the authors present the Internet in use for medical practices and ethical problems that this raises. One of the relations that presents ethical issues are the patient-doctor relation, patient confidentiality, the evolution of the social relation between doctorand his patient, medical commercials, invalidated treatments, plagiarism and others issues. The paper differentiates healthy people medicine from disease investigation. Health construction (sanogenesis) and implicitly of longevity achieves by development of adaptation (healthy life style + distress control), by cerebral activation and biological rebuilding (physical education and palaestric strategy), as well as by sanogenetic food (functional nutrition). Formative concept of palaestric civilization is analyzed complementary with Declaration of Olympia on Nutrition and Fitness, Ancient Olympia, Greece, May 1996. The healthy people medicine is also substantiated by the proposal of new emblem symbol of medicine. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

MEDICINE , *HYPERTENSION , *MEETINGS , *THEORY of knowledge , *ARTERIAL diseases - Abstract
To think that any domain of medicine is fully known is the clearest proof of a very limited quantity of knowledge. Arterial hypertension is, especially, a medical domain in which the road to walk to the optimal management can be considered similar to the distance to the horizon line. The best proof is the huge number of papers and scienti? c meetings that are continuously bringing new knowledge. That's why such reviews are necessary. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In recent years, currently, we come to grip with „aflutter little child“ which, forth somatic disorders, present also hyperactivity, inattention, and social interaction deficits and communication disorders. At this age group, currently, we find symptoms which did not fit with classical clinical features of Autism (described by Leo Kanner) neither with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). For these reasons appear a lot of differential diagnostic problems between ADHD and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder, expression used by Baron-Cohen for Pervasive Developmental Disorder), disorders with an increase of incidence in the last years. All this generate a lot of questions for nosological enframe: ADHD, TSA, ADHD co-morbid with TSA, or a new disorder? In our paper we make a review of recent epidemiology and aetiology aspects because in the last years there is an important concern for the increase of prevalence and incidence of these two disorders. We wish to emphasize that early identification and intervention allows the elaboration of some targeted therapeutically strategies, psychotherapeutic and pharmacological, adapted to each child, with increased efficiency.
