The purpose of the work is to consider the patterns of adsorption of water vapor by clay soils that have been treated with pressure and saturated with iron ions, and also to study the processes of adsorption and desorption of Fe3+ ions by bentonite and kaolin clays. The study of changes in the adsorption properties of clay soils is necessary to understand the processes occurring in soils, both in natural and anthropogenic conditions, especially in the case of soil contamination. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the adsorption capacity of clays in relation to water vapor increases when they are treated with pressure. When clay is treated with pressure and subsequently saturated with iron ions in bentonite clay, the adsorption activity decreases in the range of 0-150 MPa, at higher pressures it changes irregularly. In kaolin, adsorption increases at pressures up to 200 MPa, but it decreases at pressures from 200 to 800 MPa.

Purpose of research. Diagnostics of learning results presented in a competency-based format is currently a necessary part of the educational process of universities. The purpose of the research is to develop and implement a convenient and technological way to diagnose the results of mastering competencies by IT students in the information learning environment. One of the most popular distance learning systems in Russian universities, Moodle, supplemented with proprietary software and third-party resources, is used as the implementation environment. The article presents the results of modeling and implementation of the proposed method for diagnosing the results of mastering the competencies of IT students. Methods and materials. The authors propose an infological model of the process of preparing a bank of diagnostic tasks in a competence format. The necessity of decomposition of competence indicators into disciplinary components, the achievement of which can be diagnosed by known means of pedagogical measurements, is substantiated. The method of implementing the decomposition of competencies in the Moodle system using the Competence Framework, and the technology of preparing diagnostic tasks based on the principle of uniform coverage of all competence indicators by tasks are presented. A step-by-step algorithm for adjusting the bank of tasks is proposed. The algorithm is based on the analysis of the statistical characteristics of the results of completing tasks by students. A method for automatically tracking the mastering of competencies by students based on the results of performing diagnostic tasks in the Moodle system is described. Results. The article presents an example of the implementation of the proposed method for diagnosing the results of mastering the competencies in the process of training bachelors in the direction “09.03.04 Software engineering”. According to the World Health Organization, acute respiratory viral infections (ARVIs) account for 70–85% of all cases of infectious diseases in the world. High prevalence rates of ARVIs, influenza and COVID-19 require the search for new methods to prevent, treat, and control epidemics. Furthermore, there are significant economic losses due to high incidence and temporary disability rates. ARVIs constitute a heterogenous group of the infectious respiratory tract disorders caused by numerous viruses, such as influenza virus, parainfluenza virus, respiratory syncytial virus, adenovirus, coronavirus, and many other viruses. Symptoms of various ARVIs have much in common and include fever, cough, chest pain, headache, myalgia, asthenia, anosmia, etc. The paper discusses the features of diagnostic search and treatment tactics in seasonal ARVIs, as well as feasibility of preventive measures. The data of meta-analyses and systematic reviews are used to explore the role and potential of zinc, selenium, vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin E for prevention and treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases in adults.

Introduction. The modern development of stamping aircraft manufacturing is inextricably linked with the assessment of the limiting capabilities of sheet blanks. However, the issue of defect-free forming of blanks made of aviation aluminum alloys is understudied. The importance of this issue is due to the fact that aluminum alloys are often used in the manufacture of thin-walled products for aviation purposes. During the implementation of shaping processes, various defects may appear, specifically, corrugation or unacceptable thinning. In this regard, the objective of the work was to construct a diagram of the limit deformations of the base aviation alloys and to conduct a comparative analysis of the limit deformation curves for these materials.Materials and Methods. Logarithmic deformations with the property of additivity were used to account for large deformations. The construction of the diagram of the limit deformations was carried out in the formulation of the deformation theory of plasticity. The issue of constructing a diagram of limit deformations was considered on the basis of the positivity criterion of the loading force derivative. In the area of negative values of the smallest major deformations, the Hill criterion was used to construct the limit deformation curve, and in the area of positive values of the smallest major logarithmic deformations, the Swift criterion was used. When constructing the limit deformation diagram, a power approximation of the hardening rule was used.Results. The curves of limiting deformations for the following aviation alloys were obtained: AMg6, D16AT, AMg2M, 1201-T, AMcM. According to the comparative analysis of the areas of safe forming, the values of deformations of the beginning of necking and their influence on the change in the position of the curve of the limiting deformation of blanks were compared: the greater the deformation of the neck formation, the higher the position of the curve of the limiting deformations. The concept of the Keeler's limit deformation diagram was described. Approaches to the construction of the Hill-Swift criteria used on the basis of the results of tensile testing of sheet specimens were presented.Discussion and Conclusions. Based on the constructed curves of limiting deformations for aviation alloys, AMg-6, D16AT, AMg2M, 1201-T, AMcM, the following has been found. AMg2M alloy has the largest area of safe forming, 1201-T alloy has the smallest one. That is explained by the difference in relative deformations of the beginning of neck formation. The conducted research made it possible to evaluate the possibilities of defect-free forming of thin-walled blanks made of basic aviation aluminum alloys. The use of the constructed diagrams of limiting deformation will provide predicting the appearance of breaks in the process of forming sheet blanks.

Purpose: is to form evaluative indicators of crises based on the analysis of financial behavior of subjects of the global economic system during various crisis periods.Methods: quantitative and qualitative analysis of the crises’ periodization, according to evaluative indicators calculated on the World Bank data; retrospective, comparative analysis of the financial behavior of subjects of the global economic system were used. Results: evaluative indicators of crises are formed. Methods and approaches to the study of crises are systematized based on the analysis of the financial behavior of subjects of the global economic system in crisis periods. It is shown that the state of the balance of payments can be among the evaluative indicators of crises. The spikes of the oil prices can also anticipate a crisis. The gold rises in price during and immediately after crisis, serving as a reserve currency. In this time, there is a decrease in the scale of variation in the growth rates of indicators of money supply, companies’ market capitalization and domestic credit.Conclusions and Relevance: the identified evaluative indicators can act as a system of leading indicators of crisis processes, in conditions of an increase in the global economy volume and the intensifying instability of the global financial system. It is shown that the financial sector of the world economy is increasingly detached from the real sector. The financial sector and state institutions, using various risk reduction tools, transfer risks to the global economic system, which leads to the development of new rules of financial behavior of the subjects of the global economic system in crisis periods. It is proposed to consider the leading indicators of crisis processes as a system that can form the basic factors of financial behavior of subjects of the global economic system in crisis periods, determining the directions of stability of the world economic system. The strengthening of the influence of new technologies, including advanced information and communication technologies, in the context of expanding the diversity of models and systems of interaction of individual agents and institutional systems can both act as an unconditional engine of economic development and provokes the strongest crises in the global economic system.

Получение из растрового изображения объектов в векторном виде необходимо во многих сферах. Существующие методы векторизации спутниковых снимков не обеспечивают нужной точности автоматизации. В данной области требуется применять ручной труд, но объём поступающей информации зачастую превышает скорость обработки. Поэтому необходимы новые подходы для решения подобного рода задач. В статье предложен метод векторизации объектов на снимках с использованием разложения изображения на топологические особенности, который разбивает изображение на отдельные связанные структуры и при дальнейшей работе опирается уже на них. В результате уже на этом этапе изображение разбивается на древовидную структуру. Данный метод уникален по своему образу работы и в корне отличается от традиционных способов векторизации снимков. Большинство методов работает с помощью пороговой бинаризации, и основной задачей для них становится подбор порогового коэффициента. Главной проблемой в таком случае становится ситуация, когда на изображении имеется несколько объектов, для которых необходим разный порог. Метод отходит от непосредственной работы с яркостной характеристикой в сторону анализа топологической структуры каждого объекта. Предлагаемый метод имеет корректное математическое обоснование, в основе которого лежит алгебраическая топология. На основе метода разработана геоинформационная технология для автоматической векторизации растровых снимков с целью поиска находящихся на нем объектов. Тестирование проводилось на спутниковых снимках с разных масштабов. Разработанный метод сравнивался со специальным инструментом для векторизации R2V и превзошел его по средней точности. Средний процент у автоматической векторизации предложенного метода составил 81%, а у полуавтоматического векторизующего модуля R2V – 73%.

A new method for decomposing an image into separate objects of interest is proposed in the article. The developed method is based on the use of persistent homology. A process of direct and reverse image transformation is shown. Following direct transformation, the original image is represented as a set of matrices that can be divided into basic and detailing ones. The basic matrices contain information about the basic structure of objects in the images, and the detailing ones include data about the details of these objects, about small objects or the noise component. It is shown that there is a certain analogy with the Wavelet transformation, but the proposed method is based on a fundamentally different theoretical basis. A numerical example reflecting the basic essence of the method is described in detail. Properties of the decomposition and the possibility of using standard algebraic operations on decomposition matrices are described. The reverse transformation allows us to take into account the changed properties of individual objects and synthesize a new image. Prospects of using the proposed decomposition for solving practical problems are demonstrated. Algorithms have been developed for binarization of images and removal of text on a non-uniform background. Data analysis and processing is carried out using a unified approach in the space of decomposition matrices. The results of binarization have shown that, when compared with analogues, the developed algorithm will perform better when the binarization is used to isolate a multitude of individual objects. The obtained results of the algorithm for deleting text on a non-uniform background confirm that the information is completely deleted without affecting the rest image areas.

During learning, parallel with physiology of separate organs, the students get to know self-regulating functional systems, which determine homeostasis, behavioral and psychical activity. Theory of functional systems orientates the students understanding of mechanisms of steadiness of different physiology indices during different influences on organism. We consider that the theory of functional systems is a theoretical base of care of public health and has, to our mind, as the same significance as clinical training of the students.

The article is devoted for using of the theory of functional system in teaсhing process and principle of the systemoquant organization of the normal physiology course for medical students. The coursе is built and unified using the similar scheme, that includes the rise of the questions, formation of the goal, selection of ways to reach it with learning material — lectures and text books. System approach orients the students on the cognition of the whole organism in its close connections with surroundings. It forms systematic outlook of the students for learning of clinical subjects.

The studies of the psychological and physiological ensuring of solving the multiple choice questions with different complication of the student were explored. Research of the psychological and physiological status of the medical students before and after solving the multiple choice questions with different complication were explored. Individual psychological and physiological parameters were studied in students. It was shown that there were mainly women and persons with right dominant hemisphere in the upper half of effective reiting. On the other hand, there were mainly man and persons with left dominant hemisphere among of lower half of effective reiting. This work has showed that effective result of solving training tasks depends on not only knowledge of theme, but of several psychophysiological parameters of students. There a not the connection between effective to perform systemoquants of multiple choice questions with different complication.

Research of the psychological and physiological status of the medical students before and after solving the multiple choice questions were explored. Individual psychological and physiological parameters were studied in 2 groups of students (18–22 years old): 1 group — men and women; 2 – students who solved and not solved the tasks. It was shown that the dynamics of heart rhythm and parameters of haemodynamics illustrate vegetative maintenance of the intellectual activity of the students during solving computer teaching questions.

Kinases are important components of many signaling pathways in a cell, and therefore they are involved in the regulation of such diverse processes as trans­cription, cell cycle progression, apoptosis, cell differentiation, metabolism, and intercellular communication. Their increased activity often results in the development of various oncological, neurological, and cardiovascular diseases, as well as of immune system disorders. Treatment is most frequently based on an antagonistic approach, when a small molecule compound inhibits excessive kinase activity. However, the ATP-binding site of kinases is highly conserved, which often causes these ATP-competitive inhibitors to cross-react with a variety of other kinases, resulting in low selectivity. Thus, the discovery and development of new safe and effective inhibitors is a challenging task because it requires a comprehensive study of their effects on the human kinome. The experimental validation of possible candidates is an extremely expensive procedure, and narrowing down selection of candidate targets in silico became an attractive approach in early drug discovery. Various approaches to virtual screening were developed, with the goal to increase the cost-effectiveness of drug development manyfold by reducing the need for validation experiments. In this work, we applied a combination of different computational approaches to select 22 candidate inhibitors of the kinase activity of CDK2 and CDK9 and then tested them experimentally. Establishing a pipeline of virtual screening and subsequent validation made it possible to reveal the advantages and limitations of the methods used. About 1/3 of candidates were predicted correctly, including one compound with IC50 < 2 μM for both kinases.

The article substantiates the need to develop a theory of the psychology of the aggrieved party - an important participant in criminal proceedings. When analysing that person's behavior during criminal proceedings it is suggested to use the concept of "coping behavior", serving as a specific psychological mechanism and a manifestation of a general process of individual self-regulation of activity, that is, the means of conscious adaptation, seeking for personality attitude and reasoned sequence of certain actions to overcome the traumatic circumstances. The major types of strategies for coping with emotions and negative effects of adverse and stressful life situations have been discussed. It is postulated that the leading coping-strategy acts as a mediator between the observed behavior of the aggrieved person and his/her underlying personality characteristics. It has been shown that knowledge, understanding and awareness of such leading behavioral strategy of an aggrieved individual make it possible to have reasoned judgements of his/her personality, facilitate establishing a psychological contact, having positive interaction with him/her and thereby improve the efficiency of criminal proceedings.

Relevance. Water is the most important component of soils, as it influences the main geological processes. This is due to the peculiarities of its composition and structure. Many scientists have studied the issue of the content of bound water in clays. However, experiments on this issue are not enough. The purpose of this work is to study the forms of bound water in kaolinite clays squeezed out at high pressures, as well as to reveal the relationship between the loss of water masses under pressure and thermodynamic parameters. The object of the research is kaolinite clays. Method. To achieve this goal, samples were prepared with various degrees of compression under pressure, and then thermogravimetric and diffractometric analyzes were performed. The results of experimental data and analysis of thermograms made it possible to identify four peaks of water mass loss, in accordance with this, a classification of bound water in clay was proposed: loosely bound water on the surface of colloids; firmly bound water on the surface of colloids; mineral surface water; crystal lattice water. The impact of high pressure on the mass of removed water is ambiguous. This is due to the fact that the formation of defects occurs under pressure, as a result, the energy potential and sorption activity of clay particles change. At the same time, a close relationship was revealed between the roughness index and the gradient of the removed bound water in the pressure range from 0 to 200 MPa. Relationship is not established at pressures from 200 to 800 MPa.

Purpose of research. The purpose of research is to present proposals for the development and use of technologies for automatic checking of problem solutions in the process of forming professional competencies of students of IT-directions in the information educational environment. The article analyzes the authors’ experience gained during the development and operation of a distance learning workshop for IT students, which implements the functions of automatic checking of problem solutions in various specialized disciplines. This approach made it possible to increase the effectiveness of teaching both in the process of classroom studies and in the organization of independent work of students.Methods and materials. The article presents the key points of the creation and development of the distance learning workshop, justifies its concept, according to which the learning workshop is an interdisciplinary resource, in which the function of automatic checking of problem solutions is subordinate to the main function of developing and consolidating the skills and abilities of an IT specialist. An approach to organizing automatic checking by testing the program code developed by a student in the process of solving an educational problem is presented, and an extension of this approach is proposed for organizing automatic checking in cases where the solution is not the program code, but, for example, a diagram, model or text document designed in accordance with the regulated rules. The architectural solution and some features of the implementation of the distance learning workshop are justified, its role in the educational process is determined. Results. The results of the use of the learning workshop in the process of teaching various courses are presented. The results of training in programming are the most significant, since this resource has been used for more than 15 years – during this time, extensive experience has been accumulated in its use, the results of training have been analyzed, and some problems have been identified and solved. An example of using the learning workshop in the course “Mathematical Logic and Theory of Algorithms” is presented, in which the implementation of automatic checking of problem solutions required non-standard solutions to refine the learning workshop. An additional useful function of the learning workshop as the means of developing English-language competence is presented.Conclusion. The results of the study show that the technologies of automatic checking of problem solutions and software based on them are an effective way to develop the professional skills of students of IT areas. Surveys of employers of graduates of IT areas allow us to conclude that there is a relationship between the results of students’ work recorded in a distance learning workshop during training, and their success in professional activities after graduation. Many of the graduates continue to use the learning workshop to further develop and train their professional skills – the resource is open.

Высокие давления, возникающие в грунтовом массиве, формируют особые свойства грунтов, в том числе влияют на гранулометрический состав. Поэтому целью работы является оценка изменения гранулометрического состава бентонитовой глины под влиянием давления. Представлены экспериментальные данные влияния давления (Р = 0-800 МПа) по изменению гранулометрического состава в образцах глины месторождения. В результате эксперимента было выделено два класса, в которых изменение содержания фракций различно. Эти изменения обусловлены агрегацией и диспергацией частиц. Рассчитаны математические модели, позволяющие прогнозировать содержание фракций в зависимости от давления активации глины.

The properties of clays, including sorption ones, are largely determined by the structure of their crystal lattice, mineral and granulometric composition, and environmental conditions. The mineral composition of clays specifies the form of energy on the surface of the particles, and granulometric composition defines the form of the area of the particles active surface. These two complex indicators determine mainly the sorption activity of clays. To change the sorption activity of clays, mechanical processing, thermal modification, and chemical activation are carried out using chemical reagents such as acids, alkalis, and salts with different durations of exposure. The aim of the work is to assess the effect of pressure on the sorption activity of kaolin with respect to a methylene blue dye.

The purpose of the study is to determine the factors for increasing the representation of the Ukrainian scientific community in the international scientific community and raising the international scientific authority of Ukraine. Used Results of the annual G20 evaluation - the effectiveness of research in 2019, conducted by the Institute of Scientific Information (ISI), part of the Web of Science Group. The principles of introduction of scientometric methods of research of publishing activity of scientists in the international and Ukrainian scientific space are considered. Based on the processing of statistical material and the obtained quantitative estimates, a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of research in the G20 and Ukraine according to the Web of Science. In this area, some differences between Ukraine and countries that are world leaders in the organization of the research process are shown. Recommendations for increasing the representation of the Ukrainian scientific community on the Web of Science platform and raising the international scientific authority of Ukraine are offered.

A generative adversarial autoencoder for the rational design of potential HIV-1 entry inhibitors able to block the region of the viral envelope protein gp120 critical for the virus binding to cellular receptor CD4 was developed using deep learning methods. The research were carried out to create the architecture of the neural network, to form virtual compound library of potential anti-HIV-1 agents for training the neural network, to make molecular docking of all compounds from this library with gp120, to calculate the values of binding free energy, to generate molecular fingerprints for chemical compounds from the training dataset. The training the neural network was implemented followed by estimation of the learning outcomes and work of the autoencoder. The validation of the neural network on a wide range of compounds from the ZINC database was carried out. The use of the neural network in combination with virtual screening of chemical databases was shown to form a productive platform for identifying the basic structures promising for the design of novel antiviral drugs that inhibit the early stages of HIV infection.

A problem of automatic comparison of spatial objects on maps with different scales for the same locality is considered in the article. It is proposed that this problem should be solved using methods of topological data analysis. The initial data of the algorithm are spatial objects that can be obtained from maps with different scales and subjected to deformations and distortions. Persistent homology allows us to identify the general structure of such objects in the form of topological features. The main topological features in the study are the connectivity components and holes in objects. The paper gives a mathematical description of the persistent homology method for representing spatial objects. A definition of a barcode for spatial data, which contains a description of the object in the form of topological features is given. An algorithm for comparing feature barcodes was developed. It allows us to find the general structure of objects. The algorithm is based on the analysis of data from the barcode. An index of objects similarity in terms of topological features is introduced. Results of the research of the algorithm for comparing maps of natural and municipal objects with different scales, generalization and deformation are shown. The experiments confirm the high quality of the proposed algorithm. The percentage of similarity in the comparison of natural objects, while taking into account the scale and deformation, is in the range from 85 to 92, and for municipal objects, after stretching and distortion of their parts, was from 74 to 87. Advantages of the proposed approach over analogues for the comparison of objects with significant deformation at different scales and after distortion are demonstrated.

Direct measurements of the content of nitric oxide (NO) by the method of spectroscopy of electron paramagnetic resonance were performed. It was found that NO production in hippocampus tissues decreased to 46% after 5 h of ischemic stroke as compared to the control group and remained at the same level after 72 h. Following the hemorrhagic stroke, the level of NO production in the hippocampus decreased to 32% after 5 h of hemorrhagic stroke of the control level. After 72 hours of hemorrhagic stroke NO production was higher than after 5 h and amounted to 48% of the level of intact animals.

The mass loss of a bound water of the kaolin clay subjected to high-pressure compression was studied. Based on results of experimental studies, it was found that pressure exerts a multidirectional effect on the mass loss of bound water in clays. It was established that more significant effect on the mass loss of bound water is observed when the pressure increases to up to 125 MPa, than at higher pressures. It can be explained by the formation of the energetically active “centers” on the surface of the clay particles. It is quite difficult to establish the pressure influence on the formation of energetically active “centers” in the range from P = 150 MPa up to P = 700 MPa. The activity of the energy "centers" is controlled by the amount of roughness (Rc) of the surface of the particles. Thus, under technogenic impact on clay, its energy potential changes and, as well as its physicochemical properties, and the content of bound water.

Introduction: Due to anatomical and functional specifics of the pancreas, its surgery emerged somewhat later than that of other areas of abdominal surgery, i.e. in the last 25 to 30 years of the last century. Minimally invasive laparoscopic interventions on the pancreas are still used insufficiently.Aim: To evaluate an 11-year experience of various laparoscopic interventions in the pancreas accumulated by one surgical team.Materials and methods: From November 2007 to May 2018, 371 patients (153 male and 218 female) underwent various laparoscopic pancreatic procedures for cancers of the biliopancreatoduodenal zone (n = 260), benign pancreatic tumors (n = 37), and chronic pancreatitis (n = 74). We performed 245 laparoscopic pancreaticoduodenal resections, 52 laparoscopic distal resections (LDR), 35 laparoscopic Frey procedures (FP), 18 laparoscopic total duodenopancreatectomies, 8 laparoscopic longitudinal pancreaticojejunostomies (LLPJ), 8 laparoscopic cystoenterostomies (LCE), 3 enucleations, and 2 Beger procedures (BP).Results: Laparoscopic gastropancreatoduodenal resection was performed in 197 (80.4%) cases and pylorus preserving pancreatoduodenal resection in 48 (19.6%) cases. The duration of the procedures was 412 ± 101 minutes, with blood loss volume of 220 ± 152 ml, and postoperative hospital stay of 19 ± 9 days. LDR was done laparoscopically in 50 (96.2%) patients; its duration was 228 ± 74 minutes, blood loss 40 ± 50 ml, and postoperative hospital stay 8 ± 5 days. FP, LLPJ, BP, and LCE were performed laparoscopically in 53 (93%) cases. FP lasted for 436 ± 95, LLPJ for 406 ± 82, BP for 585 ± 134, and LCE for 327 ± 90 minutes. The respective volumes of blood loos were 227 ± 217 mL in FP, 150 ± 156 mL in LLPJ, 175 ± 106 mL in BP, and 60 ± 90 mL in LCE. The postoperative hospital stay lasted for 8 ± 4 days after FP, 9 ± 7 days after LLPJ, 4.5 ± 0.7 days after BP, and 10 ± 9 days after LCE.Conclusion: Laparoscopic surgery of the pancreas is associated with minimal blood loss, absence of wound infection, and more rapid patient activation and rehabilitation. Compliance with the necessary requirements to implementation of laparoscopic technologies in high-volume centers should improve surgical results.

Mitochondrial DNA sequences integrated into chromosomes are a promising object for designing genetic markers for studies of phylogenesis and genomic instability. Mitochondrial genomes of D. virilis and other Drosophila species of the virilis group contain (AT)n microsatellites in the spacer region between the atp6 and cox3 genes, and this microsatellite sequence is one of the hallmarks of the virilis group. The nuclear genome of D. virilis contains many extended fragments of mitochondrial DNA, which in total are several times longer than the mitochondrial genome. These nuclear sequences of mitochondrial origin contain all types of mitochondrial sequences, including mitochondrial genes and the aforementioned microsatellite sequence. The presence of the (AT)n microsatellite allows insertion of retrotransposon Tv1, which can transpose into the (AT)n microsatellite in a site-specific manner. The Tv1 insertion into (AT)n, close to the atp6 or cox3 pseudogenes produces a unique sequence. This sequence is formed by retrotransposon Tv1 and pseudogenes atp6 or cox3. This unique sequence can be detected in the genome by a PCR-based method. We applied this method to the detection and analysis of the nucleotide variability of the pseudogenes atp6 and cox3 associated with Tv1 insertions in a D. virilis cell culture and in the genomes of four Drosophila species of the virilis group: D. virilis, D. montana, D. borealis, and D. lacicola. We discovered new events of mitochondrial sequence transfer to the nucleus in the transplanted cell culture of D. virilis, and new Tv1 insertions, having emerged during the passage of this cell line were detected in the genome of the D. virilis transplanted cell culture. We found atp6 and cox3 pseudogenes associated with insertions of retrotransposon Tv1 in the nuclear genomes of four Drosophila species from the virilis group. These chimeric sequences proved to be species-specific. The age of the Tv1 insertion into the atp6 and cox3 pseudogenes is estimated at 1.50 Ma for D. virilis, 1.31 Ma for D. lacicola, and 1.56 Ma for D. borealis. A specific situation was revealed for D. montana, in which Tv1 insertions with nearly identical 5' and 3' long terminal repeats (LTRs) were present in accessions of flies from Europe and Asia. The age of this insertion was about 300 thousand years, and the insertion was absent from the D. montana fly line from North America.

The paper presents a survey of methods solving the actual task of aspect-based sentiment analysis. Solutions for this task were proposed at multiple natural language processing conferences. Organizers of these conferences proposed evaluation platforms for methods for aspect-based sentiment analysis. This paper describes methods proposed by participants of two international evaluation platforms: SemEval-2015 focusing on English texts and SentiRuEval-2015 focusing on Russian texts.

The paper describes the basic components of ISPRAS technology stack for social network data analysis. Particular attention is given to tasks, methods, and applications of network (social connections between users) and textual (user messages and profiles) data analysis: demographic attribute detection, event detection in messages corpora, user identity resolution, community detection, and influence measurement. Means for input data acquisition are also considered: collecting real data through web-interfaces of social services and generating random social graphs. For each of the developed tools we describe its functionality, use cases, basic steps of the underlying algorithms, and experimental results.

The paper presents an approach to lightweight static data race detection, called CPALockator. It takes into account the specifics of operating system kernels, such as complex parallelism and kernel specifics synchronization mechanisms. The method is based on the Lockset one, but it implements two heuristics that are aimed to reduce amount of false alarms: a memory model and a model of parallelism. The main target of our research and evaluation is operating system kernels but the approach can be applied to the other programs as well.

The paper presents a configurable method of static data race detection that is trying to keep a balance between resource consumption and a number of false alarms. The method is based on well known Lockset approach. It uses simplified memory model to be fast enough. At the same time it includes advanced techniques aimed to achieve acceptable false alarms rate. The key techniques are thread analysis and predicate abstraction based refinement. The method was implemented in CPALockator tool built on top of CPAchecker framework. The tool was evaluated on Linux kernel modules and it has detected several actual data races, which were approved by developers and were fixed in upstream Linux kernel.

Aim. Determination of the degree of malignancy and prognosis of the disease in patients with a “sugar” lung tumor. Material and methods. The case of a light-cell (“sugar”) lung tumor in a 76-year-old patient is described and analyzed. Results. The size and rate of growth of nodal formations in the lungs have a high correlation with the probability of their malignancy. The benign formations are either very small (less than 1 month in inflammatory processes), or very large (more than 16 months) time duplication of tumor mass. Lack of growth of a solid (dense) node within 2–3 years is a reliable criterion for its benign quality. The time to double the tumor mass of malignant tumors is usually in the range of 40 to 360 days. The time to double the tumor mass in this patient is 379 days. Conclusion. The light-cell or “sugar” tumor is more likely to be a highly differentiated malignant tumor with a fairly prolonged time doubling of tumor mass than benign tumor. The low level of proliferative activity of the tumor, coexpress of vimentinum also indicates this.

It was found out that the formation of the structure of the bitumen-mineraL mixture in the pothoLe of the road surface occurs over a reLativeLy Long period of time. Under the influence of contact stresses under the tire of the car, there are deformations of the material, the excess of whichLeads to its decompression. It is experimentaLLy proved that in order to increase the serviceLife of the repaired road surface, additionaL compaction of the bitumen-mineraL mixture is necessary. It was found that the excessLoad on the Layer of bitumen-mineraL mixture in the pothoLe coating at the stage of formation of its structure above the tensiLe strength contributes to the formation of pLastic deformations and reduce the required compaction coefficient. To improve the quaLity of repair work, it is necessary to Limit the axiaLLoad of vehicLes on the surface of the pothoLe for 20-30 days during the formation of the structure of the Laid materiaL in the pothoLe of the road surface.

Purpose. To develop and introduce into practice health facility individual programs of rehabilitation treatment and rehabilitation after combined treatment of breast cancer with the use of thermal imaging diagnostic method.Materials and methods. The study included 259 women who had undergone combined treatment of breast cancer. The main contingent of the test (82.4%) were middle-aged women from 33 to 59 years old. For an objective diagnosis of the state of post-radiation fibrosis and scarring using modern methods of instrumental diagnostics: Sonoelastography, infrared thermography and thermal imaging diagnostics. In individual cases, to assess the developmental stages of lymphedema using lymphoscintigraphy and MRI.Results. The proposed method of of research of the thermal state of postoperative functional area allows to identify disease and organic components in the form of scars and radiation fibrosis. This method allows to visualize the state of the heat balance on the surface of the skin and evaluate the impact of means of rehabilitation of the thermal regime of post-operative area. Critical thermal asymmetry increase by 2–3 degrees on Celsius indicates negative impact on homeostasis means of rehabilitation of post-operative area.Conclusions. Thermal imaging diagnostics of scares, radiation damage and postmastectomy syndrome is a highly informative method of objective evaluation of the effectiveness of the rehabilitation process and can be recommended for use in specialized medical rehabilitation offices. For this, it developed adhesive-correcting method of prevention and treatment of late radiation damage, fibrosis, and keloids through innovative adhesive ekzoform. The study tested many modern methods of surveillance and data processing on many issues of biology and ecology of the species in all natural zones of the Republic.Methods: we used the methods of collecting faeces and traces of life, taking the number on the analysis of havens, accounting tracks. The feeding habits have been studied on the contents of stomachs and defining systematic conditioning food residue. Applied techniques Morphometry, morphological and physiological analysis.Results: the results of the research were obtained data on abundance and Habitat Badgers in the Chechen Republic, on the number of species in different natural zones. Describe the basic biology and ecology of the species, its morphological and physiological indicators. Describes in detail the feeding habits and reproduction of Badger in the foothills and high mountains, the influence of anthropogenic factors.Application results: the data obtained by environmental organizations for the development of measures to protect the species from poachers and illegal methods of extraction. The subject of this article is the study of certain characteristics of the distribution and abundance of the Caucasus subspecies of European roe deer in the Chechen Republic. The purpose of this study is to analyze the most characteristic features of the species biology and ecology, Adaptive conduct. Methods. Objective: to study the specific features of the clinical course of acute intoxications with venoms due to the bites of Naja (cobra) naja and Naja kaouthia and those of intensive therapy in patients with the severest forms of this condition. Subjects and methods. Two clinical cases of acute intoxications with venoms due to Naja naja and Naja kaouthia bites were examined. The specific features of their clinical picture over time, changes in clinical and biochemical indicators, blood gas composition, and acidbase balance, coagulogram readings, ECG and radiological findings were studied. Results. Acute intoxication with venoms due to serious cobrabites was found to be characterized by the development of toxicohypoxic encephalopathy, toxic myopathy with skeletal and respiratory muscle paresis to develop acute respiratory and cardiovascular failure, coagulopathy, and metabolic disorders. Specific therapy (with an anti-ophidic serum in one case) resulted in drastically worsening health conditions as fulminant acute respiratory distress syndrome. A package of intensive therapy measures should include actions based on general resuscitation approaches — maintenance of life support systems (breathing, blood circulation), anti-sensitizing therapy, correction of metabolic disturbances with substrate antihypoxants (cytofavin, reamberin), and antimicrobial therapy. Conclusion. In the severest acute intoxications due to cobra snakebites, specific therapy methods (with anti-ophidic serum) should be used with extreme caution and particular emphasis should be laid on the general resuscitation-based principles.

Abstract. A combination of fluorescent staining with Hoechst 33342 dye, and flow cytometry of murine bone marrow cells may be used for separation of a side population (SP), which is highly enriched for hematopoietic stem cells capable of long-term hematopoietic reconstitution in lethally irradiated recipients. Recently, this approach was also applied to analysis of SP cells in several types of non-hematopoietic tissues, and malignant tumours. In spite of yet poor definition of phenotype and functional potency of SP cells from various tissues, the method of SP isolation may be a useful tool for analysis and pre-enrichment of stem cell-like cells of different origin. Present review article presents a brief description of Hoechst 33342-staining approach, and of recent reports concerning SP studies in various normal and malignant tissues. (Med. Introduction Our attention was drawn by quite widespread plant, namely peppermint (Mentha piperita) of mint family (Lamiaceae L.). It isn’t known as a wild-growing plant, this plant is the hybrid received from crossing water mint (Mentha aquatica) with a spicate mint (Mentha spicata) or green mint (Mentha viridis). Therapeutic action of plant is caused by the BAS complex, among which essential oil, alkaloids, saponins, organic acids, vitamins, macro - and microelements are. Accumulation of elements in a plant directly depends on sort and species of this plant, climatic conditions and geographical places of growth. Thus, using pharmacognosic research of peppermint, it would be expedient to carry out the comparative analysis of the elements content in leaf of widespread species of this plant, and also to compare to element structure of peppermint from other region of preparation. Studying qualitative structure and quantitative content of macro - and microelements in leaf of 3 samples of peppermint became the purpose of our research. Materials and methods of research The peppermint leaves of 3 samples were the object of our research. They are ‘Chornolistaya’ sort – the sample #1, ‘Zgadka’ sort – the sample #2 (the stocking up place is Dnepropetrovsk region, 2013) and peppermint - the sample #3 (the stocking place is Lebanon, Baalbek surroundings, 2013). In order to study elemental structure of peppermint leaves, atomic emission spectrometry with photographic registration was used. Results and discussions All types of raw materials had identical element structure. According to the content in each type of raw materials, compositions can be divided into some groups: the first one – the content of element was near or above 1000 mg /100 g, the content was higher than 100 mg /100 g, the content of composition was lower than 100 mg /100 g and below than 1 mg /100 g. Thus, the ambit between these groups was deeply emphasized. The following regularity of the elemental content in raw materials was observed: sample #1 K>Ca, Si>Mg>Na>P, Al, sample #2 K>Ca, Si>Mg>Na>P, Fe, Fe, sample #3 K>Ca>Mg>P. The content of such elements as Mo, Co, Pb was lower than 0,03 mg /100 g, As, Cd, Hg - below than 0,01 mg /100 g. The highest content in all types of raw materials was defined for potassium. The highest content of potassium, calcium and magnesium was established in a sample #3. The content of potassium in this type of raw materials was 4350 mg /100 g that was higher almost by 1,9 times in comparison with a sample #2, by 1,4 times with a sample #1. Also in a sample #3 there was the highest content of calcium (1370 mg / 100 g) that was more than twice of the elemental content in a sample #2 and by 1,6 times higher than in a sample #1. In a sample #3 the content of magnesium made up 800 mg /100 g that was by 1,5 times higher than the content of magnesium in a sample #2 and was insignificantly higher (by 1,1 times) than the content in a sample #1. Conclusions Using atomic emission spectrometry qualitative structure and quantitative content of the elements in 3 samples of peppermint leaves have been determined. In all studied objects the equal elemental content has been determined. Every object had not less than 5 macro-, 15 micro-, 4 ultramicroelements, the content of the last ones was lower than 0,03mg /100 g. The highest content of potassium has been determined in all types of raw materials (not less than 2300 mg/kg). It could be connected with certain aspects of preparation action made of peppermint.
