Artificial intelligence is transforming many areas of activity, including completely transforming banks. Artificial intelligence offers solutions to improve the rationality of decisions, the speed and accuracy of information processing, the provision of ready–made solutions and the implementation of monitoring operations. This article examines the evolution of artificial intelligence in the banking sector. The key areas of AI use in the financial market are highlighted, such as scoring and underwriting, anti–fraud, investment portfolio management, robo–consulting, monitoring client requests and others.The subject of the research in the article is the system of relations arising during the transformation of the banking sector with the introduction of artificial intelligence.

The legal certainty of the legislative acts in force in the Russian Federation concerning the organizational and legal basis for countering the funds laundering of criminal origin and clear regulation of the financial monitoring procedure, as well as the interaction of authorities are fundamental elements for the purpose of financial control. At the same time, countering the money laundering is a global aspect that directly affects both society and the economic system of most economically developed countries. The study analyzes the main activities of Russia Bank, aimed at ensuring the sustainability of information security in the financial sector of the economy, as well as ongoing activities aimed at limiting the spread of cybercrime based on an automated incident handling system. In order to solve strategic tasks in the financial security field of market entities, practical recommendations are proposed to improve the mechanism of countering to cyber crimes on the basis of financial monitoring of acquiring operations and corporate bank cards.

In the coming years, blockchain technologies may become one of the breakthrough innovations in the financial sector of the economy, optimizing and simplifying transaction operations in a number of areas, reducing their cost. Having a very significant potential for transforming the established algorithms for the interaction of financial market participants, it is important to understand what are the boundaries of these changes, what new opportunities are presented by blockchain technologies and, finally, what are the expected consequences for the development of the financial sector itself and the other sectors of the national economic system associated with it. In this regard, important and urgent task is to minimize risks for financial and other organizations in the face of impending opportunities and threats under the pressure of the process of integrating blockchain platforms into the economic environment. This research is devoted to the solution of the issues posed. The most important component of the paper is the proposed methodological toolkit, which allows you to identify in a formalized form the patterns and relationships between the level of penetration of blockchain technologies into the financial environment and the dynamics of gross domestic product ( GDP).

The subject. The article is devoted to analysis of the crime - laundering of money or other property obtained by criminal means,- punished by art. 174, 174.1 of the Russian Criminal Code.The purpose of the article is to confirm or disprove hypothesis that the current Supreme Court’s official legal interpretation of the rules on the laundering of criminal incomes is too narrow; this interpretation is based on a distorted understanding of the objectives of the analyzed criminal acts.The main results and scope of their application. According to judicial practice of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, firstly, when the money obtained by illicit trafficking of narcotic drugs were cashed by accused person using electronic payment systems, bank accounts or debit cards, and subsequently were spent there is no corpus delicti of money laundering. Secondly, the corpus delicti of money laundering exists in cases when money obtained by criminal means, are invested to capital stock or companies, to a bank deposit, to purchase of income-generating assets, goods or property.Conclusions. The specificity of the situation with criminal responsibility for the legalization of criminal incomes is in the fact that it is possible to use criminal income for personal needs for the purchase of luxury goods directly and without legalization due to the lack of control over the citizens expenditures in the Russian Federation. So direct disposal and personal use of property obtained during a crime by criminal in his own needs should not be qualified under art. 174, 174.1 of the RF Criminal Code as money laundering if the purpose of concealing the criminal nature of assets was not proven. However, when making financial transactions or other transactions designed to disguise the criminal source of income, the intention of criminal to spend them on personal needs should not exclude the application of the analyzed norms of criminal law.

In the Russian financial literature there is no unanimity of views on the conceptual apparatus. The notion of finance arose in the Russian financial science in the early XX century and was strongly influenced by the ideas of Marxism. Today most of the coursebooks continue to focus on this approach. Though in recent years in the scientific literature there is a movement attesting to the desire of the scientific community to change the established views. This is due to the fact that part of the conceptual apparatus is inconsistent with its generally accepted counterparts in the global financial theory. The paper proves the need to clarify the conceptual apparatus in finance theory in terms of its unification with the definitions given by foreign sources, in particular the definition of finance. The paper considers different views on the notion of finance and its functions including the author’s opinion.The author believes that the financial science in Russia must evolve to meet the financial globalization trends and factors which have an impact on science.

This article examines the evolution of approaches to the financial sector display as a part of the economy on the conceptual basis of the System of National Accounts. The main prerequisites for the formation of SNA are revealed. The formation of the methodology of national accounting and the impact of the development of economic theory on it are traced. The role and interconditionality of the Keynes' macroeconomic theory as a methodological basis of the SNA and the SNA as an empirical basis of macroeconomics are defined. The international standards SNA-1953, SNA-1968, SNA-1993 and SNA-2008; the features of presentation of the financial sector and its subsectors composition in standards are analysed.
