Background: Extensive surgical procedures play a key role in treatment of various lung diseases. Nevertheless, these complex procedures are associated with a high risk of early postoperative complications.Objective: To evaluate outcomes of the early postoperative period in patients with various lung diseases and determine risk factors for postoperative complications.Material and methods: We analyzed postoperative complications in 377 patients who underwent extensive lung surgery. The mean age was 45.7 ± 5.2 years. The majority of patients (56.0%) had malignant or benign lung tumors. Lobectomy was the most common type of surgery. Pneumonectomy accounted for 26.5%.Results: The overall rate of cardiovascular complications was 8.2%. The highest number of complications was observed after right-sided pneumonectomy (21.7%). Respiratory complications after right-sided pneumonectomy accounted for 34.8%. Lobectomy and bilobectomy had lower rates of complications (4.4% and 6.3%, respectively). The highest number of systemic complications was also recorded after right-sided pneumonectomy (23.9%), whereas lobectomy had a lower risk (4.4%). Patients with primary lung tumors had significantly more complications (32.2%) compared with patients without cancer (10.8%). The main risk factors were male gender (odds ratio [OR], 1.6; 95% CI, 1.1-2.2; P = .032), age ≥60 years (OR, 1.9; 95% CI, 1.5-2.6; P = .001), smoking (OR, 1.7; 95% CI, 1.2-2.5; P = .019), C-reactive protein level >3 mg/dL (OR, 1.8; 95% CI, 1.1-2.7; P = .015) and forced expiratory volume in the first second of expiration (FEV1)

Atopic bronchial asthma is the most common and severe allergic disease among a wide range of similar diseases. The main pathogenesis of this disease is characterized by a disturbance of T lymphocyte homeostasis, which significantly worsens the general state of health. In atopic bronchial asthma, there is impaired process of T cell apoptosis. This entails dysregulation and maintenance of peripheral lymphocyte homeostasis. Normally, T cells must undergo apoptosis, and its products should be utilized by neighboring cells, or professional phagocytes: monocytes, macrophages, or dendritic cells. This process is altered in atopic bronchial asthma. The immune system disorders, such as autoimmunity, often result from dysregulation of lymphocyte apoptosis. This is especially true in cases of insufficient or missed clearance of apoptotic bodies. Recently, the research and medical communities pay much attention to efferocytosis, a form of phagocytosi which proceeds by removal of apoptotic cells by phagocytes by means of LC3-associated phagocytosis (LAP). This process initiates uptake of the particles due to interactions between the phagocyte plasma membrane receptors and apoptotic cell. Further on, a single-membrane phagosome is formed in the cell with the participation of certain autophagy proteins (Beclin-1, VPS34, UVRAG, ATG5, ATG12, ATG7, ATG4, ATG4, LC3). The phagosome is enriched with LC3 protein molecules and fused with lysosomes, in which the captured “cargo” is then lysed. As a part of our work, a detailed analysis of some key protein contents at the LAP pathway was carried out for peripheral blood monocytes of patients with severe bronchial asthma. It was found that the expression of Rubicon protein is increased, thus allowing to conclude that the LAP pathway is activated in monocytes of healthy donors, thus allowing phagocytosis of dying T cells. At the same time, the components characteristic of both autophagy and LC3-associated phagocytosis are activated in the monocytes of patients with severe atopic asthma. However, one should note that decreased expression of the Rubicon protein, a putative marker of LC3-associated phagocytosis, has been clearly confirmed.

Introduction. Pulmonary hypertension is a common complication among patients with end-stage renal disease and has a significant impact on the outcome of kidney transplantation, including during kidney transplantation from a living related donor.Objective. To study the prevalence of pulmonary hypertension among patients with end-stage renal disease and to determine its impact on the development of early renal graft dysfunction.Material and methods. The study was based on the analysis of treatment results in 650 patients who underwent kidney transplantation from a living related donor. Depending on the graft function, 2 groups of patients were identified: group I consisting of patients with early renal graft dysfunction (n=82); group II (n=79) that included the patients with a primary graft function who were selected by demographic and clinical laboratory data statistically comparable to patients of group I (p>0.5). This allowed us to equalize the chances of achieving the study endpoint (early graft dysfunction). Transthoracic echocardiography was performed in all patients, with the calculation of the mean pulmonary artery pressure. The relative risk of early renal graft dysfunction was calculated depending on the presence of pulmonary hypertension and its severity.Results. Актуальность. Миксома — наиболее распространенная доброкачественная опухоль сердца. В левом предсердии ее типичной локализацией является межпредсердная перегородка в области овальной ямки; любое другое расположение считается атипичным. Результаты хирургического лечения миксом достаточно изу­чены, однако нет данных о результатах лечения атипично локализованных миксом левого предсердия. Цель. Анализ результатов хирургического лечения атипично локализованных миксом левого предсердия с оценкой пред- и послеоперационных факторов риска, эмболических осложнений. Методы. Выполнен ретроспективный обзор результатов хирургического лечения атипично локализованных миксом левого предсердия (n = 52) в период с 2008 по 2022 г. Результаты. Нелетальные госпитальные осложнения развились у 15 пациентов (29 %). Госпитальная летальность составила 6 % (n = 3). Сравнительный анализ данных трансторакальной эхокардиографии перед операцией и на момент выписки продемонстрировал снижение конечного диастолического объема левого желудочка и уменьшение размеров левого предсердия к моменту выписки (p < 0,001). Objective. Comprehensive studies of ancient concretes have established the presence in them of zeolite-like minerals, which are analogues of naturally occurring compounds containing alkalis. The work presents development of research aimed at obtaining compounds similar to existing minerals of the earth's crust, and encourages researchers to develop alkali binder systems to use the best results during repair and restoration work of historical architectural objects. During the experiment, such important properties for repair compositions as density, ductility, adhesion, viability and strength were studied.Method. The studies were carried out in accordance with regulatory documents GOST 12730.3–2020 Concrete. Methods for determining water absorption; GOST 5802–86 Construction mortars. Test methods; GOST 31356–2013 Dry building mixtures based on cement binder. Test methods.Result. The results obtained correspond in their technical characteristics to products based on Portland cement, the mortar grades were achieved in terms of strength M75–150, in terms of mobility Pk1 and Pk2, viability sufficient for carrying out repair and plastering work 33 minutes – 1.5 hours, high adhesive strength 0.62–0.72 MPa.Conclusion. The compositions of mortar mixtures will allow high-quality performance of a variety of work: repair, plastering, finishing. The stable properties of the components, strict adherence to the compositions and production technology of mixtures will make it possible in the future to synthesize nature-like and durable minerals in the structure of a high-quality and durable material.

This work provides a comprehensive review of the history, status, and genetic characteristics of cattle breeds in Kazakhstan. The current breeding status is analysed, including information on popular breeds such as Kazakh whiteheaded, Auliekol, Alatau, Aulieata, and Kalmyk, their production and economic significance. An overview of genetic studies using DNA fingerprinting, microsatellites, and SNPs aimed at identifying unique characteristics, genetic diversity, and genes under selection, as well as markers of economically important and productive traits of Kazakh cattle breeds, is also provided. The study examined the genetic structure of the Kazakh white-headed and Alatau breeds based on whole-genome SNP genotyping. Unique genetic components characterizing Kazakhstan cattle breeds were described, and comparisons were made with genetic data from other breeds. Structural analysis showed that the Kazakh white-headed breed contains genetic components of the Hereford, Kalmyk, and Altai cattle. The Alatau breed has a composite structure, containing components of the Brown Swiss, Braunvieh, Kalmyk, and Holstein breeds. The results not only reveal the genetic diversity and characteristics of cattle breeds in Kazakhstan and the historical development and current state of animal husbandry in the country, but also emphasize the importance of further research to identify adaptive and unique genetic markers affecting economically important traits of local breeds.

Objective: To develop a “surgical formula” for CABG and evaluate the results of its application for the taxonomy of direct MR options Methods: Four hundred fifty-two internal mammary artery-aortocoronary bypass (IMA-ACB) using two and three shunts (conduits) were performed from January 2020 to December 2023 at A.O. Makhachev Center for Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery, Makhachkala, Dagestan. Off-pump surgeries were performed in 315 patients, while 137 patients underwent on-pump CABG. The MR index was 3.5. Every IMA-ACB option had specifications indicating the particular donor artery, graft, and recipient coronary artery (CA). A “surgical formula” comprising the above specifications was developed for every MR surgery option Results: There was no in-hospital mortality among the patients enrolled in the study. According to intraoperative monitoring, the incidence of shunt dysfunction was 0.4%. Overall, 32 “surgical formulas” were developed for all types of operations performed in patients enrolled in this study. Conclusion: Introducing “surgical formulas” in the operation records at the cardiac surgery departments facilitates the systematization and classification of CABG options

The paper presents the results of experimental evaluation of oil displacement efficiency by flue gas of a thermal power plant, compared to water, for a carbonate reservoir in the Ural-Volga region. The experiments were performed under two different injection schemes using an original laboratory complex for coreflood studies, with recombined reservoir oil, model of formation water, reservoir core material, and under reservoir thermobaric conditions. It has been confirmed that due to the prevailing nitrogen content and low values of reservoir pressure and temperature, flue gas is ineffective as an independent displacement agent either for injection from the beginning of reservoir development or as a tertiary method after waterflooding. Taking into account the relevance of synergy between increasing oil recovery and sequestration of industrial emissions, evaluation of flue gas injection as part of water-gas mixtures (SWAG) is recommended.

Quantitative assessments of seismic hazard in seismically active areas depend to a large extent on the intensity-distance attenuation laws which are used in calculations. To account for epistemic uncertainty in the nature of seismic effects, it is recommended to perform probabilistic seismic hazard analysis using several different attenuation relationships. The most effective tool for their selection is the ranking procedure which consists in attributing a weight to one or another equation depending on the degree of compliance between the equation-based seismic effects and the real experimental data available for the region under study. The article presents the results of ranking intensity attenuation laws derived for Central Asia. Ranking was carried out by LH and LLH methods. Based on the ranking results, these has been made a generalized attenuation model used subsequently in PSHA for Uzbekistan. Consideration was given to three alternative models of seismic sources: area sources, active faults, and seismogenic zones. Parameterization of the models considered involved determining seismic potential, frequency of recurrence of earthquakes of different energy levels, and the predominant type of motions in each earthquake source. Seismic zoning maps of Uzbekistan in points of the MSK-64 intensity scale have been compiled for different probabilities of occurrence of non-exceedance level earthquakes in the next 50 years.

BACKGROUND: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality in women [1]. Regular mass screening with mammography plays a critical role in the early detection of changes in breast tissue. However, the early stages of pathology often go undetected and are difficult to diagnose [2]. Despite the effectiveness of mammography in reducing breast cancer mortality, manual image analysis can be time consuming and labor intensive. Therefore, attempts to automate this process, for example using computer-aided diagnosis systems, are relevant [3]. In recent years, however, solutions based on neural networks have gained increasing interest, especially in biology and medicine [4-6]. Technological advances using artificial intelligence have already demonstrated their effectiveness in pathology detection [7, 8]. AIM: The study aimed to develop an automated solution to detect breast cancer on mammograms. MATERIALS AND METHODS: The solution is implemented as follows: a deep neural network-based tool has been developed to obtain the probability of malignancy from the input image. A combined dataset from public datasets such as MIAS, CBIS-DDSM, INbreast, CMMD, KAU-BCMD, and VinDr-Mammo [9–14] was used to train the model. RESULTS: The classification model, based on the EfficientNet-B3 architecture, achieved an area under the ROC curve of 0.95, a sensitivity of 0.88, and a specificity of 0.9 when tested on a sample from the combined dataset. The model’s high generalization ability, which is another advantage, was demonstrated by its ability to perform well on images from different datasets with varying data quality and acquisition regions. Furthermore, techniques such as image pre-cropping and augmentations during training were used to enhance the model's performance. CONCLUSIONS: The experimental results demonstrated that the model is capable of accurately detecting malignancies with a high degree of confidence. The obtained high-quality metrics offer a significant potential for implementing this method in automated diagnostics, for instance, as an additional opinion for medical specialists.

The relevance of the study is due to the contradiction between the objective need for developing the academic motivation of Master students by means of research-oriented education and the insufficient development of the corresponding didactic conditions. The purpose of this paper is to identify the research-based learning potential in the development of Master students academic motivation and reasoning the didactic conditions promoting its effective implementation. In order to achieve it, the following tasks were solved: to reveal the essence of academic motivation and its features among Master’s students studying “Pedagogical science”; to promote theoretically and experimentally the didactic conditions for the effective implementation of the motivational potential of research-oriented learning. To identify the features of academic motivation, the methodology “Scale of Academic Motivation” was used.Research results: the essence of academic motivation as a set of motives that are the reason for the conscious inclusion of a student in educational activities is revealed; the features of the academic motivation of Master students studying Pedagogical science were revealed (the conscious choice of the program of training by the vast majority of students; different students’ background – previous education, work experience, age, that determines the polymotivation of educational activity with the dominance of internal motivation). It is shown that the motivational potential of researchoriented teaching of students is associated with its main characteristics: the purpose, content, nature of studying and research activities, features of results evaluation. Didactic conditions were experimentally promoted that enhance the motivational potential of research-oriented learning (taking into account the characteristics and levels of development of the corresponding types of students’ motivation; creating real opportunities for free choice of research topics for Master students; using work in pairs as a form of organizing educational and research activities; using a complex of stimulating methods for evaluating the study results). Perspective paths for study of the students’ academic motivation are indicated.

Objective. The goal of the study is to optimize a computer model of a Vivaldi antenna with conductive plates on the same side as the resonator.Method. The study is based on electrodynamic modeling methods.Result.The paper presents a computer model of a Vivaldi antenna with conductive plates on one side with a resonator. A comparative analysis of two types of Vivaldi antennas was carried out of the dependence of the beam width and the voltage standing wave ratio on the radius of the current-conducting plate curve in the form of lobes and the values of the opening in two planes θ = 900 (the plane of the antenna's opening) and φ = 00 (the plane perpendicular to the antenna's opening plane) in the frequency range from 3 to 24 GHz. The influence of the shape, size and position of the resonator on the SWR value and the width of the antenna radiation pattern was determined. VSWR values are given for different shapes and sizes of the resonator. The main parameters of the resonator have been identified, which affect the characteristics of the antenna.Conclusion. Electrodynamic modeling allows us to obtain a Vivaldi antenna with the required radiation pattern width with an improved standing wave ratio.

Introduction. The paper discusses the advantages and features of the main existing methods of connecting wooden columns and crossbars.Materials and methods. It was proposed to increase the load-bearing capacity and reduce the deformability of joints by modifying the joints with the introduction of epoxy resin between the screw and the wood and between the overlay and the end of the wooden element to which it is attached and modifying the design of the overlays.Results. As a result, a constructive solution for connecting wooden columns and crossbars was developed, which has increased reliability compared to the studied connections and is free of their disadvantages. This result was achieved due to the presence of an adhesive layer between the screw and the wood, as well as between the overlay and the wooden element, the making of notches on the sides of the overlays attached to the wooden elements, the increased length of the screws screwed into the overlay with a groove, compared to the length of the screws screwed into an overlay with a tenon, placement of holes for screws at an angle of 90° to the surface of the overlay into which the screws are screwed.Conclusions. An urgent issue is the development of constructive solutions for connections of wooden elements, in particular the interfaces of columns and crossbars. The paper discusses the advantages and features of the main existing methods of connecting wooden columns and crossbars.

Application of hydrogeochemical modeling using PHREEQC software to study interaction of formation water, carbon dioxide and reservoir rock minerals during CO2 injection for enhanced oil recovery or underground storage is discussed. Hydrogeochemical modeling is a powerful tool to evaluate the physicochemical processes occurring in the “gas phase – aqueous solution – solid phases” system depending on initial parameters such as temperature, pressure and reactant concentrations. The use of hydrogeochemical simulators provides a wide range of opportunities to analyze the processes of dissolution and precipitation of minerals, changes in the ionic composition and pH of the solution, which can affect the efficiency of CO2 injection, fluid flow, well and equipment operation. A step-by-step method for modeling interactions in the “formation water – CO2 – rock” system using the PHREEQC hydrogeochemical simulator provides good reproducing accuracy for the results of laboratory experiments and analysis of their correspondence to the processes occurring under different conditions. The obtained results are useful for optimization of oil and gas production processes involving carbon dioxide, planning and stability assessment of underground carbon dioxide storage facilities and other geological applications.

RELEVANCE. Efficiency and safety of compression hemostasis with esophageal self-expanding nitinol stents Danis compared to the Sengstaken–Blakemore tube in the treatment program of refractory esophageal bleeding still remains a controversial issue. AIM OF THE STUDY. To conduct a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of Danis self-expanding compression hemostasis nitinol stent and the Sengstaken-Blakemore tube for variceal esophageal bleeding refractory to drug and endoscopic treatment. MATERIAL AND METHODS. The first comparison group included 44 patients, in whose complex treatment program tamponade with a Sengstaken-Blakemore tube was used to save lives. The second main group of the study consisted of 15 patients in whom compression hemostasis was performed using Danis self-expanding nitinol stent. Statistical processing was carried out using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Student, χ2 and Fisher exact tests. Differences were considered statistically significant at p ≤ 0.05. RESULTS. In the comparison group, complications occurred in 44 (100 %), in the main group complications were observed in 8 patients (53.3 %). Accordingly, reliable mechanical hemostasis was achieved in 33 (75.0 %) and 13 clinical observations (86.7 %); trophic changes in the esophageal mucosa were detected in 12 (27.2 %) and 8 patients (53.3 %). When assessing the function of external respiration, 5th and 2nd degrees of decrease in the ventilation capacity of the lungs, as well as 3rd and 1st degrees of decrease in the vital capacity of the lungs were established. The overall mortality was 56.8 % in the comparison group and 26.7 % in the main group. CONCLUSION. Self-expanding compression hemostasis nitinol stent Danis as a bridge to the choice of definitive therapy compared to tamponade with the Sengstaken–Blakemore tube is a promising alternative first-line treatment for patients with refractory esophageal bleeding. At the same time, it is necessary to conduct randomized controlled studies to confirm the safety and effectiveness of self-expanding nitinol stents.

Objective. Identification of risk factors for the development and severe course of ventilator-associated tracheobronchitis (VAT) in patients on prolonged mechanical ventilation (PMV).Methods. VAT incidence rate in the intensive care unit of Academician V. Vakhidov Republican Scientific and Practical Medical Center for Surgery for the period 2018–2022 was evaluated retrospectively in 724 patients who were on PMV (more than 48 h). Patients’ clinical and demographic characteristics were subjected to factor analysis. Mean age was 52.4±3.3 (18–81) years. VAT was diagnosed based on clinical signs (fever 38°C, leukocytosis 12 000 ctlls/ml, or leukopenia 4 000 cells/ml, purulent endotracheal secretions, or conversion to purulent), radiological (no progression of existing or emergence of new pulmonary infiltrates) and microbiological (polymorphonuclear lymphocytes with or without bacteria, moderate-to active growth of colonies of potentially pathogenic microorganisms) criteria. VAT prophylaxis was based on the use of bacterial filters and humidification of the respiratory gas; selective decontamination of the digestive tract; regulation of pressure in the tracheal cuff; sanitation of the oral cavity. Treatment of VAT included antimicrobial drugs administered i/v and/or inhalational, bronchodilators, expectorants and mucolytics.Results. VAT incidence rate decreased over time from 24.7% to 10.1% (χ²=9.52; P=0.003) with invariable practice of ventilator support. The incidence of the most severe VAT (hemorrhagic catarrhal purulent) also gradually decreased from 44.7% to 14.3% (χ²=4.53; P=0.034).The duration of PMV and ICU stay in patients with VAT gradually decreased from 202.1±6.15 h to 125.3±7.81 h (t=7.73; P

In this regard, the importance of highlighting the internal structure of the cultural heritage management process as a factor in the development of tourism in the Russian Federation is actualized. The purpose of the study: to formalize the model of cultural heritage management as a factor of tourism development in the Russian Federation. The research methodology is represented by a set of general scientific and special historical methods of scientific cognition, the principles of historicism, scientific, systematic and complex. The scientific novelty consists in an attempt to comprehensively comprehend the problem of studying, preserving and using Russian cultural heritage objects based on the analysis of contemporary research on the subject, taking into account modern realities and formalizing the model of cultural heritage management as a factor in the development of tourism. In the presented clinical observation, such tactics of patient management made it possible not only to timely identify late cardiovascular complications of Hodgkin’s lymphoma chemoradiotherapy, but also to conduct treatment for the second malignant disease with cardiotoxic agents with a positive antitumor effect.

Results are discussed for evaluation of effectiveness of the cyclic geomechanical treatment (CGT) on a Tournaisian carbonate reservoir. Analysis of laboratory experiments performed according to a special program to assess permeability changes for Tournaisian samples under cyclic changes in pore pressure is presented. The main conclusion is the positive selectivity of the CGT: an increase in permeability is observed for samples saturated with hydrocarbons (kerosene) with connate water, and maximal effect is related to the tightest samples. For water-saturated samples, the permeability decreases after the CGT. Thus, the CGT improves the drainage conditions for tight oil-saturated intervals. It is also confirmed that the CGT reduces the fracturing pressure in carbonate reservoirs. Using flow simulations on detailed sector models taking into account the results of laboratory experiments, a possible increase in well productivity index after CGT with different amplitudes of pressure variation was estimated. Results of a pilot CGT study on a well operating a Tournaisian carbonate reservoir are presented, including the interpretation of production logging and well testing. The increase in the well productivity index is estimated at 44-49 % for liquid and at 21-26 % for oil, with a more uniform inflow profile after the treatment. The results of the field experiment confirm the conclusions about the mechanisms and features of the CGT obtained from laboratory studies and flow simulations.

The influence of international standards and requirements on the quality and safety of goods is studied. In the context of the growing importance of ecological issues, the influence of foreign economic factors on the environmental aspect of trade and commodity science is also considered. The impact of international ecological standards and restrictions on the production and circulation of goods is studied. As a sum, the publication highlights the deep connection between foreign economic factors and the economics of trade and commodity science. The need to take these factors into account in economic decision-making and policy-making in the globalized economic environment is emphasized. The results of the study can be used in the development of strategies for foreign economic activity and improvement of commodity science processes.

Роль внешнеэкономических связей для экономики России в досанкционный период имела очевидную тенденцию к усилению — при увеличении ВВП страны к 2013 г. по сравнению с 2000 г. в 1,75 раза рост импорта за этот же период составил в сопоставимых ценах 5,7 раза. При всех фактических и потенциальных эффектах использования сравнительных преимуществ усиление зависимости от внешних рынков имело и негативные последствия. Целью выполненного исследования была оценка зависимости спроса на импортные товары с учетом сложившейся структуры межотраслевых связей в российской экономике. В работе изложены результаты первого этапа сравнения прямых и полных затрат в целом для российской экономики, дано описание математического инструментария, использовавшегося для расчета показателей импортозависимости российской экономики. В перспективе этот подход будет распространен на пространственную экономику в разрезе двух мак­розон — европейской и азиатской частей страны. Статистические данные показывают, что прямая импортоемкость российской экономики примерно равна 6 %, что меньше, чем в среднем для мировой. Значение индекса вертикальной специализации составляет около 11 %, что отражает относительно невысокую зависимость экспорта отечественных товаров от импорта. За период 2014–2020 гг. наибольшие снижения полных затрат импорта характерны для продукции целлюлозно-бумажной промышленности (-5 %) и производства транспортных средств (-3 %), обеспеченных в основном снижением прямой импортоемкости этих отраслей. В целом влияние вынужденного импортозамещения после 2013 г. оказалось негативным для большинства регионов. Используемый инструментарий может применяться в прогнозировании торгового баланса и последствий реализации различных сценариев политики импортозамещения. Ввиду учета в косвенных и полных затратах потоков продукции, относящихся только к промежуточному потреблению, представляется целесообразным в перспективе развить используемую методику в направлении учета и инвестиционных товаров.

The research is devoted to the development of the composition of the gel-forming mixture and the selection of the percentage of components for obtaining intestinal-soluble seamless capsules with probiotics. The purpose of the research is to develop equipment for the manufacture of capsules obtained by the drip method. Capsules must have good structural and mechanical characteristics, the correct shape and resistance to physical influences, in this regard, it is necessary to select the required components and develop the composition of the mixture to obtain the specified structural and mechanical characteristics of capsules. The authors of the article have developed a methodology and a scheme for conducting an experiment that allows to obtain the characteristics of capsules that meet all requirements. A mixture of food gelatin and sodium alginate was chosen as a gel-forming mixture, which showed the best results in the manufacture of capsules. As a result of the experiment, it was found out that the best results were shown by a mixture with a composition of 1% food gelatin and 1% sodium alginate. The composition of the mixture is selected in such a way that, without dissolving in the acidic environment of the stomach, it passes into the intestine, and in the alkaline environment of the intestine it dissolves and releases the probiotics available in the capsules. In the future, seamless capsules with probiotics will be used in the manufacture of functional products that improve the functioning of the immune system. Based on the experimental setup for encapsulating probiotics, industrial equipment will be developed to produce seamless capsules obtained by the drip method.

A feature of the modern world is the constantly increasing flow of innovation, which has caused a chain reaction of technological, institutional and social changes in all spheres of activity. Increasingly noted examples of this are the ‘green’ trend, the ecologisation of innovation processes and enterprises following modern trends in sustainable development. In this study, the authors developed an original methodology to risk-assess (probability of success) green innovations based on a decision tree. The authors’ solution facilitates making an optimal decision on the expediency of launching projects to implement green innovations in the oil and gas sector, such as carrying out entire innovation programs, launching a pilot projects or suspending current programs, based on the expected income. In this paper, the methodological approach is tested using conditional data. The results obtained form the foundation for developing a framework for innovation activities at oil and gas complex enterprises, providing a new (green) view on solving the problems of oil and gas innovations and taking a systemic approach to the analysis of green innovations in the oil and gas sector in the Russian Federation. The findings can be used in strategic planning by oil and gas enterprises, in particular, when deciding on the expediency of initiating green innovation programmes.

The article substantiates the role of cultural and educational tourism in the popularization of the cultural heritage of the Republic of Crimea, reflects the importance of cultural tourism for the formation of national consciousness of citizens, examines the main objects of cultural heritage of the region, identifies the problems and prospects of using the cultural heritage of the region in tourism. Cultural heritage is the most important resource for regional development, including cultural and educational tourism, which can be considered as an effective factor contributing to familiarization with the cultural heritage of the region, therefore, research aimed at developing methodological foundations for a balanced interaction of cultural heritage management processes and the development of tourism activities based on its use is relevant. The purpose of the study: to substantiate the importance of cultural and educational tourism in promoting the cultural heritage of the Republic of Crimea and to identify current problems of their use in tourism. The methodological basis of the research is the philosophical principles of cognition; dialectical, logical and systematic approaches to the consideration of phenomena and processes, as well as general scientific methods: analysis and synthesis to substantiate theoretical propositions, generalization, systematic approach and formal logic to deduce the content of relevant concepts. The preservation of cultural heritage and its rational use are crucial for the sustainable attraction of tourist flows and the improvement of socio-economic indicators of the region. The activation of cultural and educational tourism throughout the Crimean region can contribute to the development of other sectors of the tourism industry and, of course, will have a positive impact on the preservation of cultural heritage.

Данная работа посвящена правовому анализу внедрения Болонского процесса в казахстанскуюсистему образования. После подписания соглашения о внедрении Болонского процесса Казахстанактивизировал международное сотрудничество в сфере высшего образования. Интеграция системывысшего образования страны в мировое образовательное пространство — один из долговременныхстратегических приоритетов республики. Подписано значительное количество двусторонних межправительственных договоров о сотрудничестве с высшими школами зарубежных стран, существенно возросло число прямых договоров с зарубежными университетами. Структура общеевропейскогопространства высшего образования охватывает три цикла, при этом каждый цикл готовит студентовк выходу на рынок труда, дальнейшему развитию компетенций и активному участию в жизни общества. Для программ высшего образования принципиально важное значение имеют системы обеспечения качества. Степень, или диплом каждого цикла должен определять общее направление и родзанятий, а система квалификаций должна учитывать все разнообразие индивидуальных потребностей, академических успехов и спроса на рынке труда.

Действие закона о нормативно-правовых актах в тех странах, где он принят, направлено на упорядочение системы нормативных правовых актов и урегулирование сопутствующих вопросов,от проектирования до оценки эффективности воздействия акта на общественные отношения. Рассматриваемые законы актуализирует правовое регулирование общественных отношений с учетомизменения наднационального регулирования отношений в условиях евразийской региональной интеграции, перспектив дальнейшей гармонизации законодательства государств — членов ЕАЭС, а также государств — участников СНГ.

This study examines the long-term effects of SARS-CoV-2 infection on immune status. Given the prolonged and profound immune dysregulation observed during acute SARS-CoV-2 infection, it remains to be determined whether these changes translate into subsequent immune system dysfunction in recovering individuals. In this sense, the aim of the study was to study the parameters of the immune system in patients who had undergone SARS-CoV-2 infection. 150 patients who underwent SARS-CoV-2 infection were examined according to 96 parameters using flow cytometry. A complete blood count was performed using a Medonic device (Sweden); ELISA method determined the levels of general and specific IgM, IgG, IgA, compliment fragments (JSC Vector-Best, Russia). The activity of the phagocytes was studied according to the generally accepted method. The study found that at least four phenotypes of immune system disorders are detected in patients. The first two phenotypes are related to the impairment of innate immune system factors and are associated with a decrease in the number of CD46+ and NK cells. It has been observed that a decrease in CD46+ persists for a long time in a significant number of recovered patients, highlighted by the impaired expression of this marker in various subpopulations of lymphocytes. The decrease in the level of natural killers was accompanied by a compensatory increase in the number of T lymphocytes, mainly due to T helpers and TNK lymphocytes, and the growth of total memory B cells. Two other identified phenotypes are characterized by damage to acquired immune response factors and are associated with damage to B cells and T cytotoxic cells. The relationship of such disorders with damage to hematopoiesis erythrocyte and platelet sprouts, which contribute to the appearance of hypoxia and possible violation of the blood coagulation system, has been shown. Therefore, the results obtained indicate a long-term pronounced damage to the immune system in postCOVID patients that requires immunocorrection of these disorders.

В статье представлены результаты исследований влияния природы суперпластификаторов на фазовый состав цементного камня, твердевшего 1 и 28 сут. в нормально-влажностных условиях. Установлено, что активация портландцемента в аппарате вихревого слоя снижает содержание непрогидратированных минералов портландцементного клинкера. Количество продуктов гидратации цементного камня, твердевшего в течении дних суток, полученных традиционным образом, убывает при введении добавок: С-3→ SP10→ MF. Совместный помол исследуемых добавок с портландцементом в аппарате вихревого слоя способствует повышению количества продуктов гидратации на 4–35 % в зависимости от вида добавки, и по эффективности их увеличения располагается в ряду: С-3→ SP10→ MF. На первые сутки твердения прочность цементного камня в значительной степени зависит от характеристик кристаллов в цементном камне, при этом прочность цементного камня увеличивается при уменьшении величины приведённого размера блока-мозаики всех идентифицированных фаз цементного камня.

The aim of the study is to improve the centrifuge for separating fat from pork rinds. In this article, we will consider a centrifuge for separating fat from flakes for feed flour for animal husbandry. In the food industry, heterogeneous systems are separated by centrifugation.In meat processing plants, products entering centrifugation are structureless or structured colloidal-dispersed systems (liquid or flexible bodies) or bulk bodies. The latter include products consisting of a set of solid homogeneous particles of a smaller size that do not take into account the tensile load. It is known that colloidal substances have redundancy in specific gravity and internal surface, therefore they have high adsorption properties and the ability to absorb a large amount of moisture. Colloidal products entering centrifugation separate the liquid contained in them into free and bound. However, such a classification cannot give a clear character of the mechanism of communication between the liquid and the material and does not take into account the specifics of the material itself. A fairly correct and mostly accurate picture of the relationship between a liquid and a material can be shown by a diagram of the forms of communication between a material and a liquid, the structure of which is based on the intensity of the bonds between the material and the liquid. According to these data, there are three forms of material-liquid bonding: chemical, physico-chemical and mechanical bonding. The chemical bond is stronger, and in this case the release of liquid from the material can be achieved by chemical interaction or by intense thermal action (heating). The physico-chemical bond of the liquid with the material can be observed in adsorption, osmotic and structural bonds. The liquid adsorptively bound to the material is separated by evaporation, desorption – during osmotic contact-by the formation of an extracellular concentrated solution. The liquid with structural bonds is mechanically held by the material, and its molecular layer is adsorptively bound. To separate the liquid having a structural connection with the material, methods of evaporation, pressing, fractional centrifugation or structural destruction are used.

Previously, autophagy was termed as a mechanism used by the cells with a lack of essential nutrients supporting homeostasis. Over the decade of studies, autophagy proved to be a more complex, ambiguous mechanism. Its activation depends on the nature of stimulus, type of immune cells and the final result. Both canonical and non-canonical autophagy, being similar in molecular events, but showing their own distinctive features, are key processes in protecting the body from penetration of intracellular pathogens, maintaining the required level of nutrients in the cell, and removing damaged organelles and cells. Canonical autophagy probably evolved as a homeostatic response to cellular stress and nutritional deficiencies, whereas non-canonical autophagy emerged as a response to suppression of inflammation. Non-canonical autophagy, hereinafter referred to as LC3-associated phagocytosis (LAP), combines the molecular mechanism of phagocytosis with an autophagy mechanism characterized by ingestion of exogenous pathogens, formation of phagosomes (laposomes) and enhanced fusion with lysosomes, followed by degradation of their contents.Significant differences were found between the processes of LAP- and canonical autophagy, which are similar in its mechanism of action. The presence of PI3K complexes in both processes, utilization and intracellular degradation of the “cargo” which is not required for the cells and organism proceeding in the lysosomes, and involvement of almost the same proteins provide similarity of their mechanisms. However, there are differences in the initiation of the processes, e.g., different types of PI3K complexes (in autophagy, PI3K III class 1 and 2 types; in LAP PI3K III, class 3 type), usage of reactive oxygen species in LAP, different types of regulatory proteins involved (ULK1, FIP200, ATG13 , Ambra1, WIPI2, ATG14 in autophagy; and Rubicon and NOX2 in LC3-associated phagocytosis), different number of layers in the membrane structure in which lysis occurs (double-membrane autophagolysosome and single-layer membrane in laposomes) clearly depict the variety of canonical and non-canonical autophagy. The two pathways are directed for different types of biological objects, i.e., intracellular pathogens, dysfunctional proteins and organelles in autophagy, and extracellular pathogens, apoptotic bodies, bacteria, utilized in LAP, thus making these mechanisms completely different in their significance.Collectively, the new data indicate that autophagy performed via both canonical and non-canonical pathways, has evolved into a host defense mechanism capable of resisting immunological and pathogenic stress and mediating immunological tolerance to both intra- and extracellular threats. The present review discusses fundamental molecular differences between these mechanisms, as well as their role in immunity, based on the latest literature data.

В работе исследуются особенности общественно-политических образований тюрков после распада Золотой Орды. Рассматриваются различные точки зрения на данную проблему. Авторы приходятк выводу, что монгольское влияние в средние века на соседние народы, в частности, тюрков и славян,было в итоге скорее позитивным, чем негативным. Монголы стали одним из факторов их этнического,государственно-правового, духовного и культурного развития. Выяснение специфики государственного устройства, политико-правовой жизни допетровской Руси помогает понять многие особенности средневековой тюрко-монгольской государственности, а также общие тенденции внешней политики России XVI–XIX вв. по отношению к тюркам.

Introduction. Basal cell carcinoma is the most common type of non-melanocytic malignant tumors of the skin. The main treatment methods for this pathology are local methods such as surgery and radiation. In rare cases, basal cell carcinoma can become locally advanced and / or metastatic.Aim. To demonstrate the possibility of reconstructive surgery for large defects after removal of locally advanced tumors of the face and describe a rare case of basal cell carcinoma metastasis into the regional lymph nodes.Clinical case. The article presents a clinical case of treatment of basal cell skin cancer with metastases into the regional lymph nodes. According to the patient, tumor on the skin of the left cheekbone area first appeared in 2007. The patient did not seek medical help. In 2017, the tumor was resected at the local medical facility. In 2018, the patient noted repeat tumor growth. In November of 2021, when the patient first consulted at the Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary of the ministry of Health of the Bashkortostan Republic, the tumor was 7 × 5 cm. Invasion depth was up to 1.5 cm, infiltration into the temporal and mastication muscles and destruction of the zygomatic bone were observed. On 18.11.2021 at Republican Clinical Oncological Dispensary of the ministry of Health of the Bashkortostan Republic, wide resection of the skin tumor with resection of the zygomatic arch, parotidectomy on the left with defect removal using anterolateral thigh flap was performed. per histological examination, basal cell carcinoma with lymphovascular and perineural invasion and advancement into the masticator muscle and zygomatic bone was diagnosed, as well as carcinoma metastases in 2 lymph nodes with advancement beyond the capsule.Conclusion. Implementation of revascularization flaps significantly widens choices for surgical treatment of this patient group in a regional oncological dispensary and gives satisfactory esthetic results due to removal of large defects after surgical intervention.

Cord blood cell composition is a short-lasting delivery stress consequence and is similar on adult G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood.G-CSF realizes biological effect by number of secondary messengers, many of which are also natural effectors of stress. In this research comparative characteristics of cell composition, including lymphocytes subpopulations, CD34+ and CD133+ cells, hematopoietic progenitor cells colony-forming activity and mobilizing cytokines concentration (IL-8, MMP-2, MMP-9), between term newborns cord blood and G-CSF-mobilized peripheral blood is shown.Mobilized cytokines concentration ratio in combination with CD34+ cells count in cord blood and mobilized peripheral blood suggests that delivery stress possibly is not single cause of cord blood features.

The objective: to study the level of serum cytokines IL-4, IFN-γ and the activity of IgE production in patients with bronchial asthma (BA) with the consideration of the Gln27Glu-polymorphism of the β2-AR gene.Subjects and Methods. 130 people of Uzbek ethnicity were examined including 83 patients with BA. BA patients were divided into groups according to the international classification of the World Health Organization and the GINA 2006 diagnostic criteria. Genotyping was performed by polymerase chain reaction technology and restriction fragment analysis.Results. In the group with allergic BA, patients with the Gln27Gln-polymorphic variant of the β2-adrenergic receptor gene had an average IgE value (1,664.20 ± 293.29 pg/ml) higher versus patients with the Gln27Glu genotype (338.40 ± 121.33 pg/ml; p < 0.01). No significant relationship between the Gln27Glu polymorphism of the β2-adrenergic receptor gene and the activity of inductor cytokines was found. The Gln27Gln genotype of the β2-adrenergic receptor gene in patients with bronchial asthma, especially in the allergic form of the disease, is associated with hyperproduction of IgE.

Aim. To compare respiratory mechanics and gas exchange in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) with and without COVID-19.Material and methods. We examined 96 patients, who were divided into two groups. The main group included 48 patients with COVID-19-associated ARDS. The control group included 48 patients with ARDS not associated with COVID-19. Most characteristic patients were selected for the following baseline parameters: age, sex, SAPS II score, disease severity, plateau pressure (Pplateau), oxygenation index (PaO₂/FiO₂), and arterial-alveolar oxygen gradient (A-aO₂). Respiratory mechanics and gas exchange parameters assessed immediately after ARDS diagnosis and on days 1, 3 and 7 of treatment included arterial oxygen (PaO₂) and carbon dioxide (PaCO₂) pressure, tidal volume (Vt), respiratory rate (RR), respiratory minute volume (RMV), positive end expiratory pressure (PEEP), and Pplateau.Results. Today, increasing energy efficiency in residential heating systems, saving fuel and energy resources, and improving the efficiency of using devices based on renewable energy sources is an urgent issue. The purpose of the article is to develop a mathematical model of the heat balance and conduct a theoretical study of one-story rural houses based on the use of solar energy in a non-stationary mode. To achieve this goal, an experimental one-story solar house with autonomous heat supply was built. The heat supply of the experimental solar house mainly uses solar energy, and when the heat supply load exceeds this load, the traditional boiler device is used. The power supply of the experimental solar house is provided by a solar panel (photovoltaic converter). A heat balance scheme for a solar house with autonomous heat supply and an electrothermal scheme of a physical model are proposed. Based on the proposed schemes, a mathematical model of heat balance and a calculation algorithm based on the heat balance equation of the dynamic state of the heat supply system of a one-story experimental solar house in a non-stationary mode have been developed. On the basis of mathematical modeling, the influence of the heat capacity of the wall structure on the temperature regime of the building was studied. On the basis of the MATLAB-Simulink program, the main temperature characteristics were built, on which the change in the temperature of the internal air of the building was analyzed depending on the ambient temperature. On the basis of the program, a modular scheme of the dynamic model was built. Based on the modular scheme, the results of the experiment on changing the air inside the solar house and the outdoor temperature are presented in the form of a graph. The mathematical model of the thermal balance of the building in dynamic mode and the obtained calculation results are recommended for use in the development of energy-efficient solar houses.

This article presents, for the first time, a reference database of the nucleotide sequences for three DNA barcodes (ITS2, matK, and rbcL) of 65 rare and critically endangered plant species of the Republic of Uzbekistan (133 samples, two samples per species), including 23 monocots and 42 dicots. ITS2 region was proposed as the most variable, easily amplified and sequenced for both monocot and dicot species. Therefore, it was recommended as the main DNA barcode. The obtained reference database uploaded to the BOLD v4 platform should be useful for pharmaceutical companies, environmental and customs offices, as well as for phylogenetic research.

Одним из решений задачи рационализации несущих конструкций покрытия является применение арочных комбинированных систем. Работа посвящена исследованию комбинированной арочной системы с лучевыми затяжками. Основное внимание уделено совершенствованию конструктивных решений посредством поиска рационального количества панелей пояса арки и затяжек, анализу работу арочных систем и установлению зависимостей напряженно-деформированного состояния при изменении количества панелей и затяжек, поиску усилий преднапряжения затяжек, позволяющих уменьшить поперечное сечение арочного пояса. По результатам численных расчетов в программном комплексе SCAD определено рациональное количество панелей и затяжек, усилия преднапряжения затяжек, профиль поперечного сечения пояса арки, которые способствуют уменьшению металлоёмкости и более эффективному использованию несущей способности арочной системы с лучевыми затяжками.

Fire and its derivatives (soot and ash) played an essential role in the traditional culture of the Kazakhs, whose relics are revered to this day. This article examines traditional Kazakh ideas of fire, soot, and ash, their functions and roles in ritual practice, as well as the symbolic content of these elements. Fire, as one of the elements of nature, becomes the mediator that “cultivated” man and became one of the archaic universals of culture. Being one of the most archaic elements of culture, fire is part of the cultural code. Using a functional approach, the authors of the article identify the practical functions of fire, which form the basis of the symbolic content in the ritual practice of the Kazakh people. Using the semantic method and cross-cultural analysis, the authors identify the symbolic content of fire. At the same time, this study is characterized by the collection and analysis of a wide range of materials (macro approach) from the cultures of Turkic and other peoples, which makes it possible to identify the main elements of these practices and their variants (types) in the global cultural space.

Introduction. Wilkie syndrome is a pathological manifestation caused by an abnormal disorder of the superior mesenteric artery arising from the abdominal part of the aorta. As a result, the distal part of the duodenum is compressed between the abdominal aorta, spine, and SMA, which creates a hindrance for the passage of himus in the duodenum, creating a mechanical obstruction.Aim: To draw the surgeons’ attention towards the possibility of developing a rare complication of decreased aorto-mesenteric angle and the distance, highlighting the challenges in diagnosis and treatment.Materials and methods. This article presents a clinical case of WS diagnosed in the surgical department of the BSMU clinic. We hereby discuss the case report of a 28-year-old patient diagnosed at the initial stage of WS. The patient had been suffering from the symptoms of WS since 2018 but wasn’t able to identify the disease, but when he came to the surgical department of BSMU clinic based on the results of abdominal CT-scan with combined contrast of the stomach and duodenum per os with water-soluble contrast and computer angiography of the mesenteric vessels, the diagnosis was confirmed. The patient was treated with the duodenojejunostomy (laparoscopic Strong’s operation).Results and discussion. Absence of timely diagnosis of this disease can lead to life-threatening complications, and early diagnostics is complicated by similarity of initial manifestations with other gastropancreaticoduodenal diseases. One of the most promising approach in the diagnosis of Wilkie syndrome is the use of abdominal CT-scan with combined contrasting of the stomach and duodenum per os with water-soluble contrast and computer angiography of vessels. In the present clinical case due to the given combination of methods we can assess functional state of the stomach and duodenum, clearly visualize not only the organs topography but also estimate the aorto-mesenteric angle and distance, which can further determine the type and tactics of initial stage treatment, which we decided to perform surgery (laparoscopic Strong’s operation). The postoperative period was without complications. The patient noted an improvement in the state and the relief of pain in the epigastrium and was discharged after 9 days of hospitalization in satisfactory condition.Conclusion. For diagnosis and treatment in time as well as prevention of possible complications, it is necessary to improve surgeons’ information about this pathology, which if diagnosed and treated late can lead to severe, life-threatening complications up to death. The diagnosis at the initial stages, specifically with the assistance of computer tomography with contrast, angiography, and treatment in a timely manner, can preserve life and prevent the possible outcomes of fatal complications.

The relevance of the topic stems from the contradiction between the experience accumulated by higher school in adapting lecture as a form of organization of education to the new conditions of education functioning and the insufficient attention of researchers to analyzing this experience. The purpose of the study was to identify the role, place and directions of the lecture transformation in modern higher education. To achieve it, a meta-analysis of publications on the topic over the past ten years was carried out (2011–2021). In total, 52 scientific articles published in peer-reviewed leading domestic pedagogical journals and other scientific and methodological publications were analyzed. The selection of articles for analysis was carried out by the presence of the keyword “lecture” in the article title.The results of the study show that despite the wide variety and general availability of information and communication sources the lecture cannot be supplanted in the system of higher education, but new demands have been placed on it, as its role in the system of higher education changes. The authors have identified the main requirements for a modern lecture, namely problem setting, structure flexibility, focus on dialogic forms of communication with students, effective feedback. The leading trend in the development of lectures in a modern university is a combination of scientific character, information value and high professionalism inherited from traditional lectures with dialogue and a variety of lecture types, an increase in interactivity to enhance the educational and communication activities of students. It has been established that the transformation of a lecture in modern higher education goes in the following directions: organizational-content, functional-structural, and communication. The authors dwell on the content of each direction and propose prospective areas for further research.

Objective: To study surgical management of post-burn scar extension contractures of the toes. Methods: The treatment outcomes of 72 children with post-burn scar extension contractures of the toes between the ages of 3-15 were analysed. There were 38 boys (52.8%), girls – 34 (47.2%). In 14 (19.4%) children, both feet were affected, with a total of 86 feet with extension contracture. In most cases (n=53, 73.6%) of children (62 feet), retracting scars extending proximally also caused extension contracture of the ankle joint. Results: In all cases, a modified Z-plasty (butterfly flap) technique, according to Hirshowitz, was used to correct scar contracture of the anterior ankle. In 89.5% of patients (77 feet) after reconstruction using a local flap, soft tissue defects (range, 6-30 cm2) remained. The defects were covered with full-thickness autologous skin grafts. In this case, in 32.6% (28 feet), the exposed tendons and cutaneous nerves were preliminarily covered by the surrounding subcutaneous tissue and fascia used as a blood-supplying source. Local flap surgery helped reconstruct mild scar contracture in 16 (18.6%) feet. In 21 (24.4%) cases, tendon-articular structures were reconstructed. Complications in the early postoperative period were observed in 7 out of 86 operated feet, which amounted to 8.1%. In all cases, complications included marginal necrosis of local flaps and transplanted full-thickness skin grafts observed in 4 feet (4.6%) and 3 (3.5%) feet, respectively. In all cases, engrafting of a full-thickness skin graft was noted; and there was no complete recurrence of contracture. Due to the somatic growth of children in 8 cases (9.3%) in the late postoperative period (after 6-10 years), repeated corrective surgical procedures were required. Conclusion: In children, burn contractures of the toes require surgical intervention on the skin and soft tissue. Unfortunately, the pathological process is almost always accompanied by a lack of skin and soft tissue, requiring skin grafts. In the long term, there is a need for repeated corrective surgical interventions.

Objective. The aim of the study is to build and optimize a computer model of the antenna using software packages for electrodynamic modeling.Method. The study is based on dynamic modeling methods.Result. In this paper, the dependences of the width of the radiation pattern on the curved Vivaldi antenna with a mirror arrangement of the petals are obtained. Graphs of the dependence of the radii of curved petals and aperture values on the width of the radiation pattern in two planes for frequencies of 3 and 24 GHz are plotted. Curve radius, antenna aperture and lower antenna height are plotted as functions of the maximum beamwidth for 24 GHz and the minimum beamwidth for 3 GHz. The obtained dependencies were approximated for two planes θ = 900 (antenna aperture plane) and φ = 00 (plane perpendicular to the antenna aperture plane). By means of regression analy sis, analytical descriptions and graphs of dependences of the maximum beamwidth for 24 GHz and the minimum beamwidth for 3 GHz, on the radii of the curves, aperture and the height of the lower curve of the antenna lobe were obtained.Conclusion. The resulting mathematical model makes it possible to obtain the values of the radius of the curve, the opening and the lower height of the antenna lobes for different frequencies, as a result, to build a Vivaldi antenna with the desired topology.

The paper explores the excess value created (EVC) metric, which is an aggregated measure of the financial performance of a company over a multi-period measurement interval. The relevance of the study is due to the demand for practical solutions in the field of financial performance monitoring and incentive compensation, which makes it possible to achieve congruence between the interests of shareholders and the decisions of managers. The aim of the study is to build and justify a periodic financial measure that takes into account not only the current result but also the long-term consequences of management decisions. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the determination of the EVC metric via the TEVA indicator and providing the rationale for the new design of the performance measure. The result of the study is the derivation of formulas for calculating the EVC measure on multi-period and one-period intervals, which are free from restrictions on changes in the capital structure and the cost of capital, allow for a time-varying systematic risk of operating activities and possess the advantage of computational simplicity important for practical applications. The study concludes that the measurement of value created using the EVC indicator determined via TEVA makes it possible to achieve close conformity of the metric constructed to the real-world conditions with the unification of calculations in its retrospective and forecast components based on data available from historical and Pro Forma financial statements and information from the capital market.

There were investigated seismic mode and stress state of the Earth’s crust in the South Fergana seismic activity zone. In the central part of the zone, there was identified an area of a long-term seismic quiescence during which no earthquakes with energy class K≥12 (M≥4.5) were recorded. Along the entire length of the seismic quiescence area, there occur an activation of earthquakes of lower energy classes, as well as anomalous fluctuations of the recurrence curve slope. To localize the place of seismic activation probability, the current stress of earth’s crust in the South Fergana seismic activity zone was reconstructed according to focal earthquake mechanisms by the methods of cataclastic analysis of displacements. There were identified the areas with low values of effective confining pressure and maximum shear stresses where strong earthquakes usually occur. Taking into account the stressed state of the Earth’s crust, on the basis of the prognostic parameters of the seismic regime within the South Fergana seismic activity zone there were identified two areas in which M≥6.0 earthquakes may occur in the coming years.

The article is devoted to the formation features of the civic consciousness among the youth in mass culture and media communications. Civil self-consciousness is represented through a system of personal values, a person's ideas about himself as a citizen, as well as about the state and society where he belongs and in relation to which he is self-determined. The purpose of the article is to present how the youth consumes the mass culture products and socio-political media content in the context of the formation process of their civic consciousness. The design of an empirical study is based on the principles of a political and psychological approach. The empirical basis of the research is the materials of the All-Russian survey of the youth aged 18 to 30 years, conducted in 2020 using the formalized interview procedure (n = 1600) and the in-depth interview method (n = 200), as well as the materials of the expert survey (n = 20). The materials reveal attitudes of the youth to printed publications, television content, Internet resources, film products, fiction, musical compositions, perception characteristics of the presented socio-political information. The character of media consumption among the youth is determined by the values of freedom and autonomy, justice, truth and truthfulness, and trust in information sources that are significant for them. The lack of critical thinking skills necessary for processing and analyzing a huge array of information determines their primitive perception of the political, the inability to identify political plots and political problems presented in the works of mass culture, a high degree of reactivity to the appearance of various media products. The civic consciousness formation of the youth becomes “broken” and fragmented under the influence of the media space as a factor of political socialization.

Rupture of the diaphragm dome in severe combined trauma is an infrequent phenomenon. At the same time, untimely diagnosis in the acute period leads to various serious complications. The article presents a clinical case of treatment of a patient after a severe railway injury, when a rupture of the left dome of the diaphragm with gastric dislocation was not recognized for 4 months. Pain syndrome due to the patient’s empyema of the pleura and necrosis of the stomach wall was stopped for a long time by taking strong drugs.
