This bachelor thesis will deal with the description, analysis and comparison of the main holidays of the Czech Republic and Russia in order to establish similarities and differences between them. Moreover, significant religious and secular holidays, such as Christmas, New Year, Shrovetide and Easter will be considered in details. The research involves the study of the historical and religious prerequisites for the emergence and holding these holidays, the analysis of the development of traditions and customs in the historical context, as well as a description of the celebration of these holidays at the present time. The analysis of educational literature dedicated to the Russian language for primary and secondary schools will make it possible to draw a conclusion about the intensity and depth of presentation of material about Russians traditions to Czech school children. В рамках этнографической дефиниции «Хъуромэ» - это архаичный обрядово-ритуальный комплекс общечеркесской культуры, представляющий собой синтез церемониальнотанцевальных действий, исполняемых молодежью. Обряд символически знаменует конец старого культурно-космогонического цикла и начало нового, его призыв. «Хъуромэ» - неотъемлемая часть специфического механизма социокультурной инициации подрастающего поколения в традиционном обществе, символ и универсалия народной культуры. Морфология праздника состоит из трех частей: первая - ритуальный обход молодежью улиц, домов селения с пожеланиями благополучия, здоровья, успеха в новом году. Здесь закладывается его динамическая, карнавально-игровая основа развертывания. Обходники поют песни, складывают в корзинки и мешочки продукты, сладости, переданные людьми. Вторая часть обряда исполняется в избранном доме, где происходит приготовление пищи из собранных продуктов и коллективная трапеза участников. Третья часть обряда - это кульминация воплощения сакрального смысла «Хъуромэ»: в ней молодежь через игровое, музыкальное магическое сопричастие в солярно-космогонической ритмике танца Удж встречает Новый год. На основе междисциплинарного анализа в статье предлагается общее концептуальное видение генезиса, культурной семантики архаического обряда и постулирование его культурногенетической близости с духовными компонентами других традиционных культур., Within the framework of the ethnographic definition, "Khurome" is an archaic rite - the ritual complex of the all-Circassian culture, which is a synthesis of ceremonial-dance actions performed by young people. The rite symbolically marks the end of the old cultural-cosmogonic cycle and the beginning of a new one, its call. The ritual structure of "Khurome" is an integral part of the specific mechanism of socio - cultural initiation of the younger generation in traditional society, a symbol and the universal of folk culture. The morphology of the holiday consists of three parts: the first is a ritual tour of the streets and houses of the village by young people with wishes of well-being, health, and success in the New Year. This is where its dynamic, carnival-game deployment framework is laid. Walkers sing songs, put food and sweets passed by people in baskets and bags. The second part of the rite is performed in the chosen house, where food is prepared from the harvested products and the participants have a collective meal. The third part of the rite is the culmination of the embodiment of the sacred meaning of "Khurome": here, young people through playing, musical magic participation in the solar-cosmogynic rhythm of the Udj dance meet the New Year. This article examines New Year semantics in the context of Anna Akhmatova’s lyrical poetry. The author aims to define the meaning of this event in the context of the author’s conceptualisation going beyond Akhmatova’s personal destiny which she regards as affected by the calendar cycle. Akhmatova’s lyrical heroine is sensitive to the calendar shift which resulted in the emergence of a peculiar Russian holiday, the so-called “Old New Year”. It extended the period of Christmas carnival, thus combining two Christmas Eves which had distinguished Christmas from Epiphany. This affected the poet’s lyrical heroine’s perception of all Russian festive life. This psychological plot is accompanied by a tragical emotional background reproducing any holiday events, especially those of the New Year perceived as an omen of “new grief” and new human lives sacrificed to Thanatos in his different guises. Akhmatova’s heroine constantly perceives herself as being in Christmas Eve chronotope scary for her with the New Year in its centre. In the Slavic tradition, there existed a Christmas Eve ritual of “playing dead”. This folklore tradition was reflected in Nikolay Gumilyov’s early poetry, having predetermined the “feast day of the dead” plot in the New Year’s Ballad and the first part of the Poem without a Hero by Akhmatova. New Year semantics is permeated in this artistic system with eschatological sense in understanding dynamics both as personal existence and the entire history of the “split twentieth century”. The article considers a thematic selection of Akhmatova’s texts which have not been studied by researchers in this connection (including texts not to be found in her major collections). This selection accompanied by its interpretation makes it possible to look deeper into the complex symbolic structure of the psychology of a representative of the Silver Age who had to live through a number of global historical cataclysms searching for irrational and mystical explanations if not rational and logical ones. On this level, Akhmatova, who had always been sensitive to dates, painfully tried to solve the tragic riddle of being., В статье рассматривается семантика Нового года в общем контексте лирики Ахматовой. Лирическая героиня поэзии Ахматовой чувствительно воспринимает календарный «сдвиг», результатом которого стало появление в России особого праздника — «Старый Новый год», что расширило период святочного карнавала, соединив при этом два Сочельника, отличавших Рождество Христово от Богоявления. В сознании лирической героини это наложило отпечаток на восприятие всей русской «праздничной» жизни. Этот психологический сюжет сопровождается трагическим эмоциональным фоном, где воспроизводятся события любого праздника, особенно Нового года как обещания «нового горя» — новой череды человеческих жизней, приносимых в жертву Танатосу в разных его ипостасях. Героиня Ахматовой постоянно ощущает себя в страшном для нее святочном хронотопе, в центре которого располагается Новый год. В славянской традиции святочный ритуал предполагал обряд «игры в покойника». Эта фольклорная традиция отразилась в ранней лирике Н. Гумилева, предопределив сюжет праздника мертвых в «Новогодней балладе», и первой части «Поэмы без героя» А. Ахматовой. Новогодняя семантика пропитана в этой художественной системе эсхатологическим смыслом в понимании динамики как личного существования, так и всей истории «некалендарного ХХ века». В исследовании представлена тематическая подборка текстов, не привлекавшая ахматоведов в этой связи (в том числе и тексты, не вошедшие в основные сборники). Сделанный отбор с сопровождающей его интерпретацией позволяет глубже проникнуть в сложную символическую структуру психологии личности Серебряного века, которой пришлось пережить глобальные исторические катаклизмы и искать им если не рационально-логическое, то иррационально-мистическое объяснение. Ахматова, всегда чувствительная к датам, на этом уровне пыталась мучительно понять трагический «ребус бытия».

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year. The theoretical part of the thesis contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs, the way how Christian church (Catholic and Orthodox) influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. Czech and Russian traditions are compared in order to find some basic similarities and differences between them and to analyze the development of the traditions in historical context. Such issues as language pedagogy, intercultural language competence and how to use traditions at Russian lessons at primary and secondary schools are also emphasized in the work. The practical part of the thesis deals with the analysis of some books used for teaching Russian language at Czech schools in order to find out how customs, folk traditions and holidays are described and presented. It also contains the research of the contemporary situation at Czech schools in the form of the testing of the teachers of Russian language and the students of elementary and secondary schools. The article is about omens and superstitious beliefs as important components of folklore. In this article, Russian and Chinese superstitious related to New Year are analyzed. Intercultural differences and similarities are learned from the analysis made. В статье рассматриваются приметы и суеверия как важные составляющие народной культуры. Анализируются русские и китайские приметы и суеверия, связанные с наступлением нового года. Анализ и изучение выполняются на основе конкретного этнокультурного материала. Устанавливаются межкультурные различия и сходства русских и китайских новогодних примет и суеверий.

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis and detailed description of the basic holidays of the civil year in winter period of time. It also contains the study of the most popular folk traditions, religious rituals and beliefs of the Slavs from Advent till Christmastide or Christmas season. The historical background of the adoption of Christianity in the territory of the Czech Republic and Russia and the way how Christian church influenced on the origin of fundamental traditions and rituals has also been taken into consideration. There is also a description of the way the major Slavonic holidays are held. The thesis deals with such religious and secular holidays as Christmas, Advent, New Year, Christmas season, Epiphany and other traditional holidays.

Рассматривается специфика Нового года в контексте советской эпохи. Показана преемственность новогоднего праздника с досоветским периодом, соотношение архаических, традиционалистских, социалистических (идеологических) значений в его структуре. Анализируется концепт сказочности в советской культуре, специфика новогодней сказки. The article studies New Year celebration peculiarities during the Soviet era demonstrating the continuity of the celebration with the pre-Soviet period, and the correlation of archaic, traditionalistic, socialistic (ideological) meanings in the structure thereof. The author analyzes the concept of fabulousness in the Soviet culture, and the New Year fairy-tale peculiarities.
