Further reforming of the rural health care should be proceeded with special attention to availability of medical care in countryside.The purpose of the study is to develop on the basis of analysis of accounting data and research results recommendations for improving organizational forms of medical care to country dwellers. The exploration of peopleware and main performance indicators of medical organizations in rural areas was implemented.The statistical, analytical and sociological methods were applied. The reporting forms 47, 30, 12 of Federal statistical monitoring are analyzed.Results. The provision of population with medical personnel in rural municipalities in 2010-2018 increased from 12.5 to 14.5 per 10 thousand of rural population. The provision with paramedical personnel made up to 52.3%oo and during the same years indicator decreased from 55.4 to 52.3%oo. During the analysis period, 4241 feldsher obstetric posts were reduced and in 2018 their number made up to 33,350. The number of feldshers in rural areas decreased on 18.5%. In 2005-2018 number of central district hospitals and district hospitals decreased in 2.5 times. At that, provision of beds in municipalities of rural areas decreased from 49.6 to 38.8%oo. There significant winding up of district hospitals and their restructuring into branches of central district hospitals occurred. In 2018, remained only 47 out of them equipped with 1549 beds. Unfortunately, the reporting forms of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation do not account branches of central district hospitals. This information is to be included in accountability of the Ministry of Health.It is necessary to expand scope of authority of local government bodies in resolving medical and social problems in rural territories.

The article presents the results of study of accessibility of preliminary medical sanitary care of rural population attached to the feldsher obstetric unit. Such forms of the Federal state statistical monitoring of the Orenburg oblast and the Russian Federation, data of the Medical Information Analytical Center of the Orenburg oblast of 2011-2015 were used. The statistical, monographic, cartographic research techniques and direct observation technique were applied. The statistical data was processed using STATISTICA 10.0 software. The study permitted to determine and propose the following models of positioning of settlements attached to the feldsher obstetric units: radial, radius, shoulder, linear and local. The results of study permitted to develop "The unified information data base of territorial accessibility of medical care to inhabitants of settlements residing in zone of servicing of the feldsher obstetric unit corresponding to register of feldsher districts in compliance with criteria of their complexity. On the basis of study results a software was developed for monitoring using as an accounting unit the the feldsher obstetric unit with evaluative indices of complexity of the feldsher district permitting to monitor migration processes in rural areas. The authorities of agencies and institutions of health care are recommended to apply the developed original software "The unified information data base of territorial accessibility of medical care to inhabitants of settlements residing in zone of servicing of the feldsher obstetric unit".

The army medical attendants perform an active role in the sanitary-epidemiological control of military units. The supervision of sanitation situation of the barracks and other quarters, as well as the objects of food service, the bath and laundry service can perfectly be realized by medical attendants, the more so that instrumentation and laboratory methods of this supervision are rather simple. Sometimes the execution of this work is troubled by unsatisfactory training of the active enlisted medical attendants on the questions of military hygiene and military epidemiology. It can be explained by the fact that as a rule civilian medical schools have a scarce training on this matter. In the authors' opinion it is possible to avoid this limitation by reformation of one of the existing military medical divisions in civil educational establishments into a military medical school for medical attendants.

The paper discusses results of a descriptive epidemiologic study of cancer mortality in the following three groups of retired women: (1) physicians of all specialties, (2) physician's assistants, midwives and nurses, and (3) practical nurses. Cancer mortality proved significantly increased in all the groups studied: 1.5, 1.3 and 1.1 higher, respectively. Moreover, the physician group was characterized by significantly higher mortality from rectal cancer, breast cancer and hemoblastoses (3.1, 4.2 and 2.6 times higher, respectively). Mortality rates for lung and breast cancer were 1.6 and 1.2 times higher in the nurse group whereas that for cervical cancer was increased in the practical nurses.

A 39-year-old patient, veterinary feldsher, suffering for 3 years from tuberculosis luposa with multiple foci of involvement, is described. The process was complicated by lymphostasis and eczema on the left arm.
