Устройства сенсорного замещения преобразовывают видеосигнал с камеры и подают его на вход одной или нескольких исправных сенсорных систем. Цель настоящей работы — обзор неинвазивных технологий и устройств сенсорного замещения зрения. Использованы результаты опубликованных экспериментальных и общих работ по сенсорному замещению. Показано, что, хотя существует несколько работающих и востребованных на рынке систем сенсорного замещения, остаются проблемы, препятствующие их широкому использованию. Sensory substitution devices convert the video signal from the camera and transmit it to the input of one or more functional sensor systems. The aim of this work is to overview the field of non-invasive technologies and devices of sensory substitution of vision. The overview used the results of published experimental and review papers on sensory substitution. The overview has shown that although there are several are several working and marketable sensory substitution systems, problems remain that prevent their widespread use.

Экспериментальные исследования с участием слепых людей показали, что с помощью устройств сенсорного замещения можно успешно перевести визуальную информацию, полученную с помощью видеокамер, в тактильные ощущения и звуковой ряд. Компания vOICe vision создала курс обучения «звуковому зрению». Обучившиеся ему незрячие люди могут различать формы плоских изображений и предметов окружающей среды, ориентироваться в пространстве и использовать сенсорное замещение как один из способов реабилитации. Experimental studies with the participation of blind people have shown that with the help of sensory substitution devices, it is possible to successfully translate visual information received with the help of video cameras into tactile sensations and sound. vOICe vision has created a sound vision training course. Blind people trained in sound vision can distinguish between the shapes of flat images and environmental objects, navigate in space, and use sensory substitution as one of the methods of rehabilitation.

Рассмотрен один из способов компенсации нарушенного зрения — сенсорное замещение, технология неинвазивного протезирования. Оно позволяет компенсировать функцию навигации, необходимую для передвижения в пространстве. Навигация во многом зависит от восприятия глубины. Целью этой работы является обзор публикаций в области изучения восприятия глубины при использовании устройств сенсорного замещения. Исследовательский материал был набран из международных научных баз данных Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed. Обзор показал несогласованность опубликованных экспериментальных результатов, что делает дискуссионным тезис о влиянии раннего зрительного опыта на восприятие глубины при использовании визуально-аудиальных устройств сенсорного замещения. One of the ways to compensate for impaired vision is sensory substitution, the technology of non-invasive prosthetics. Sensory substitution allows you to compensate for the navigation function necessary for movement in space. Navigation largely depends on the perception of depth. The purpose of this work is to review publications in the field of studying depth perception using sensory substitution devices. The research material was collected from international scientific databases: Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed. The review showed inconsistency of the published experimental results, which makes the thesis about the influence of early visual experience on depth perception when using visual-auditory sensory substitution devices controversial.
