Рассмотрена роль медиков Пермской губернии (врачей, фельдшеров, акушерок) в распространении и развитии детских дошкольных учреждений. Выявлены формы этой общественной деятельности: публикации в печати, обсуждение на съездах врачей, создание общественных организаций, учреждение яслей или патронаж над их воспитанниками. Медицинская общественность отмечала важность яслей в борьбе с высокой детской смертностью – острой социальной проблемой России конца XIX – начала XX в., The paper shows role of medics of Perm province (doctors, paramedics, obstetricians) in spread and development of day nurseries. The paper reveals forms of this public activity, such as publications in the press, discussion at congresses of doctors, creation of public organizations, establishment of nurseries or patronage over their pupils. The medical community noted importance of day nurseries in the fight against high infant mortality – an acute social problem in Russia in the end of the 19th century and in the beginning of 20th century., №4(16) (2018)
