Some features of the approach to solving both purely practical and general theoretical problems based on the application of the field approach as a causal factor in the development of a number of phenomena are considered. In particular, when studying the genesis and evolution of mesospheric silvery clouds, the determining influence of a number of large-scale tropospheric processes on their development is consistently revealed. An original method of synthetic maps is proposed in this direction. Extensive statistical analysis of the cartographic material revealed that cyclonic activity, frontogenesis, development of occlusions and thunderstorm foci have a pronounced physical effect on the formation of silvery clouds over the northern hemisphere. The extraordinary results of the work stimulated further study of the influence of the temperature field of high latitudes in the southern hemisphere of the Earth - Antarctica - on the features of the seasonal evolution of the area of the global field of silvery clouds of the southern hemisphere. For the first time in research practice, statistically convincing evidence has been obtained that the surface temperature field is the leading factor in the formation of silvery clouds. This makes it possible, in turn, to consider silvery clouds as a significant marker of climate change. Along with this, longitude variations of the area of silvery clouds of the northern hemisphere of the Earth are considered. The results suggest the influence of geophysical fields on the genesis of such clouds. The question of the nature of gravitational and inert coupling is considered separately. A hypothesis has been put forward that allows not only to clarify the view of the nature of the inert mass, but also to estimate several general characteristics of the Universe relatively simply. Internal gravitational waves are space-time fluctuations of air masses in the atmosphere. In addition to the longitudinal component, they also have a transverse component, which distinguishes them from ordinary acoustic waves. Significant progress has been made in the study of atmospheric dynamics over the past decades. Solving large-scale wave movements of air masses, particularly internal gravitational waves, remains a complex and urgent task. Spatial heterogeneity was studied to identify internal gravitational waves in the emission of the glow of the night sky at an altitude of about 87 km, where bands of hydroxyl molecules are emitted. The waves were recorded using an infrared digital camera of the whole sky installed at the optical polygon of Maymag (Yakutia). Data processing was performed by the method of temporal differentiation of images. One thousand one hundred forty frames were obtained for two seasons (2016-2017 and 2017-2018) with a pronounced wave periodic structure defined as internal gravitational waves. For each case of detected internal gravitational waves, the following parameters were determined: wave period, wavelength, propagation velocity, the direction of propagation, time, and duration of observation. The lengths of the recorded waves vary from 9.6 to 52.5 km (the average value is 25 km), the estimated periods range from 4.5 to 13.3 min (the average value is 7 min) and wave propagation is directed mainly to the northwest.

One of the research areas in the physics of ionized gases is studying perturbations in supersonic vehicle around medium in the mesosphere of the Earth, that is necessary for studying problem of creation of a reliable radio link. This paper studies mechanism of radio transparency of the perturbed medium modeling as a collision ionized gas and its plasma state.

In this work we investigated the change of dynamics of the upper atmosphere over hurricanes. We studied characteristics of the horizontal component of the wind speed within 80–300 km range of altitudes. We analyzed data obtained in 1994 by WINDI (Wind Imaging Interferometer) onboard UARS satellite for hurricane intensities of 4 and 5 points by Saffir–Simpson scale [9]. We plotted the distributions of the zonal and meridional velocity components on height. We found an increase of wind dynamics over strong tropospheric perturbations for altitudes up to 108 km. Acoustic-gravity waves (AGW) may be responsible for propagation of perturbations from the troposphere up, therefore we made a numerical modeling of fluctuations of the vertical and horizontal velocity components when AGW are present in the atmosphere. Moreover, we studied changes of the velocity components due to variation of wave period and horizontal wave number and considered spatial scales of such changes as well.
