The term ʺknowledge transferʺ is currently often used and is not limited to the commercial sphere. We undrestand technology transfer as the transfer of research and development results into practice. From a narrower point of view, technology transfer can be understood as the successful use of technologies developed by one entity to meet the needs of other entities. The process of technology transfer is quite complex and therefore i tis necessary to take severeal steps in order to successfully commercialize the technology. Success, but also failure, thus also depends on the correct and effective application of intellectual property, which is a key aspect of technology and knowledge transfer.
